We now have clarity on how Madonna and 2Pac originally met thanks to Rosie Perez. The actress revealed how she introduced the two prior to them dating.
As per Page Six the Brooklyn, NY native paid a recent visit to the Drew Barrymore Show where she discussed a variety of topics relating to her storied career. Midway during the interview the White Men Can’t Jump star spoke about her friendship with the late great Tupac Shakur. She went on to say that she was the one who introduced him to Madonna. Perez stated that her original date to the 1993 Soul Train Music Awards cancelled on her 30 minutes before the event. Luckily 2Pac stepped up and escorted her to ceremony. “He said, ‘You know what, I’m going [to] go with you, we’re going [to] walk up in there, we’re going [to] act like we’re on a date, and he’s going to die,’” she explained.
While at the awards show Madonna checked in with her and asked about Pac. “She was there and she came up to me and she was like, ‘Yo, what’s up? Y’all are together?’” Rosie added. “And I said, ‘No.’ She goes, ‘Really?’ I go, ‘Yeah.’” The “Material Girl” singer asked then asked Rosie Perez to “hook [her] up,” to which she replied You got it.” Madonna and 2Pac briefly dated from 1993 to 1994 but kept their relationship relatively secret. It wasn’t until many years later the self proclaimed Queen of Pop admitted the two were an official item.

Writing your bio for your dating profile is one thing, but choosing your photos to give your potential boyfriend or girlfriend a glimpse at their future boo is another challenge that Tinder wants to help you with.
Spotted on The Verge, Tinder is launching a new AI-powered feature to help users select their “best photos” to put in their dating profiles.
According to the dating app, the new tool will “take out the guesswork” for users when choosing your most eye-catching photos by creating a selection “optimized to help users find a match.”
A breakdown of how Photo Selector works via The Verge:
To use Photo Selector, users will need to take a selfie within Tinder and allow the app to access their device’s camera roll. Tinder’s new AI feature will then use facial recognition to collate a selection of images for the user to review and add to their profiles. The curation is processed on-device and doesn’t upload the user’s camera roll to Tinder’s systems. We have asked Tinder to clarify the criteria the feature uses to select images and will update if we hear back.
The dating app says Photo Selector aims to allow users to make “meaningful connections” by saving them time in the profile-making process.
A study of 7,000 18-25-year-olds conducted by Tinder found that young singles spend up to 33 minutes on average trying to select photos to use.
Tinder users on iOS and Android can expect the Photo Selector to be available sometime in July. According to Tinder, international users will gain access to it “this summer.”

The rumors have been swirling around for months, but this week Common and Jennifer Hudson confirmed that they are dating.
The rapper is set to appear on The Jennifer Hudson Show today (Jan. 22).
In a teaser preview, Hudson, 42, introduces the Chicago rapper with a rap freestyle saying, “Now y’all know I’m a singer, but I’ve been around this hip-hop thing a little bit.” When he emerges, Common, 51, presents her with a large floral bouquet.
“Now, we gotta get down to business, Mr. Common. I’m a host and so I have to ask you this question ’cause everybody always wanna know this — are you dating anyone?” Hudson asks in the clip.
“I’m in a relationship that is with one of the most beautiful people I ever met in life,” he said coyly. “She’s smart, she loves God, she has something real down-to-earth about her, she’s talented.”
“But I set my standard kind of high because she had to have an EGOT,” he continued. “She had to win an Oscar on her first movie. I set my stand high. She had to get her own talk show.”
In the clip, Hudson blushes at his response.
They then reverse the performance with him asking her if she is seeing anyone and she responds that she is “very happy” in her current relationship.
Common adds, “This relationship is a happy place for me,” he shared. “Seeing her happy actually makes me really happy. So, I’m very grateful. I thank God each and every day, and I’m just letting God guide this relationship.”
The couple are both Chicago natives and rumors have been swirling that they were dating for nearly a year after they were seen out and about together in both Philadelphia and their hometown.
In November, Hudson sat down for an interview with Gayle King where she also confirmed that she was “very happy.”
“Word on the street is you’re very happy,” co-host Gayle King asked, according to BET. “I am very happy, yes ma’am,” the singer replied, though she stopped short of name-dropping who the person is.
“In a very nice relationship with someone who shall remain nameless,” King added.
It looks like that special “someone” is no longer nameless.

Remy Ma has some explaining to do. She was spotted at the Eagles game with Eazy The Block Captain and the internets think they are an item.
HipHopDX is reporting that the two Rap talents were seen attending the recent Philadelphia Eagles football game on Sunday, November 5 during their victory over the Dallas Cowboys. Fans in attendance spotted the two rappers together at Lincoln Financial Field Stadium looking like they were on a date. The man who filmed the two incorrectly identified the battle rapper as her husband Papoose but the internet quickly made correction.
Rumors about the two first started circulating around back in June when it was reported her husband knocked out Eazy at a Chrome 23 battle rap event titled “#TheGrudgeCard. Remy Ma quickly denounced the rumors on X, formerly known as Twitter. “I’d like to apologize to everyone that was disappointed tonight because we couldn’t get 3 full rounds from all the opponents… I tried…and can y’all pleasee STOP with the Eazy & Pap LIES,” she tweeted. “There’s NO place like Chrome! Right back at it; see y’all in August #Chrome23.”
Fast forward to September, Eazy had a battle with Geechi Gotti and addressed the rumors in one of his rounds while Remy stood a couple of feet away. “If you heard a ni*** did something to me over a female. And he ain’t dead, it’s prolly cause I still got the female” Eazy rapped. Additionally, Eazy and Remy Ma were also spotted grabbing some seafood at Red Lobster that same month. While Remy Ma and Papoose have yet to address the speculation neither have posted about each other on their respective social media accounts since earlier this year.
The two wed in 2015.

The longtime Disney Channel star joined Howie Mandel on his Howie Mandel Does Stuff podcast recently, where she revealed that privacy was a concern while dating. “All of my relationships, especially – obviously – when I started dating, I had to get people to sign NDAs,” she explained. “It took me a while to wrap my head around it because it’s very impersonal, but someone in our position needs to do that.”
So when were the NDAs presented? “Before the naughty times come,” Raven-Symoné said with a laugh, before continuing, No, I’m serious — right before naughty time comes.”

Raven-Symoné is now happily married to Miranda Pearman-Maday, whom she tied the knot with in 2020. She revealed, however, that even her now-wife signed an NDA at some point. “We were in New York. We were in this outdoor French type of restaurant, and my mom had been bugging me,” Raven-Symoné recalled “She was like, ‘You got to get it signed. I’m like, ‘She’s from the industry.’ And my mom was bugging me.”
The That’s So Raven actress continued, “I was really reluctant because I knew something was different about Miranda.”
While Pearman-Maday was hesitant at first, she signed it because she “understood” the situation. “We both were like, ‘This takes away the genuineness of it all, but we also understood that we live in Hollywood,’” Raven-Symoné said, before adding, “She knows who she is. So she did it.”

No, Lupita Nyong’o isn’t dating Janelle Monáe, but she’s “not surprised” that she’s been linked to the “Lipstick Lover” singer.
“She has magnetism that they were obviously picking up on,” the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever actress told Rolling Stone about Monáe, who identifies as nonbinary. “She is that enigmatic. People are curious about enigmatic people.”
Nyong’o and Monáe initially met at the 2014 Met Gala, and their immediate closeness ended up sparking dating rumors. “I don’t mind being associated with her in any capacity,” the actress said. “It’s built into her spirit. While Nyong’o isn’t in a romantic relationship with Monáe, she has been dating television host Selema Masekela for some time, and the duo made their relationship Instagram official in December 2022. In the post, the two share various coordinating outfits with the sweet caption, “We just click!”
Monáe, meanwhile, is gearing up to release her long-awaited album, The Age of Pleasure, out June 9 via Wondaland Arts Society / Atlantic Records. The release will be her first studio album since 2018’s Grammy-nominated Dirty Computer.
The star also opened up to Rolling Stone about shedding expectations of being a queer icon. “I’m not obligated to share my story,” the star said for the cover story of the June 2023 issue. “Nobody’s obligated. But I do think it’s powerful for me to talk and give a name to some of these things.”
“You cannot project onto artists. You have to understand that experiences will be had and people will change and evolve and not be the person you look up to,” she added elsewhere in the interview. “As much as you love and care about me, I’m on my own journey that has nothing to do with music, has nothing to do with art.”
