A congressman called out the media for not reporting Donald Trump’s repeated presence in new documents related to a Jeffrey Epstein case in Florida.
Democrats in the House of Representatives held a meeting on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C. on Tuesday (July 9), to talk about President Joe Biden’s candidacy for reelection. But one lawmaker voiced his frustration with the media’s constant focus on the situation and its avoidance of discussing new information concerning former President Donald Trump’s name being repeatedly featured in a new batch of documents related to a Florida case against Jeffrey Epstein.

“We hear a lot from our constituents on different issues,” Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) said to those reporters gathered at the press conference. “But something I’ve heard that doesn’t seem to be being covered are the Epstein files.”

“Donald Trump’s all over this,” the vice president of the House Democrat Caucus continued. “There are pictures of him with Jeffrey Epstein, he’s taken multiple plane flights with Jeffrey Epstein with young girls onboard. He’s on call logs with Epstein. One of the most trending hashtags on Twitter right now is about Trump and Epstein, I’m not going to repeat the hashtag because we’re in a dignified setting.”
The hashtag that the California congressman referred to is known as the #TrumpPedoFiles. “And by the way, he was convicted in a civil court for sexual assault and convicted in a state court for 34 felonies. Donald Trump should drop out of the race,” Lieu concluded.
Donald Trump’s name does appear on the call logs between 2004 and 2006 in the recent batch of documents ordered to be released last week. “Former Miami U.S. attorney Alexander Acosta, who later became Donald Trump’s labor secretary, approved a secret agreement in which Epstein pleaded guilty to lesser state charges rather than face federal prosecution,” said a report from the Washington Post.
His words were part of a tense back-and-forth that has sprung up as President Biden is facing the brunt of numerous calls for him to drop out of the running to be the Democratic candidate for the November presidential elections. The demand comes after his lackluster performance in the debate held by CNN on June 27. But Biden has been defiant since then, declaring that he was staying in the race. Meanwhile, Donald Trump was noticeably absent from the public eye until a campaign rally on Tuesday night in Doral, Fla.

Brett Favre is still salty about Shannon Sharpe talking about his alleged involvement in a Mississippi welfare scandal.
Lawyers for Hall of Fame retired NFL quarterback Brett Favre will ask a federal appeals court on Tuesday to reinstate a defamation lawsuit against fellow Hall of Famer, turned media mogul Shannon Sharpe.
A Mississippi federal judge threw out the lawsuit in October on the grounds that Sharpe “used constitutionally protected speech on a sports broadcast when he criticized Favre’s connection to the welfare misspending case,” per The Grio’s reporting.
Favre hopes to get a lick back by asking the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to reinstate the lawsuit.
The former Green Bay Packers quarterback is still BIG MAD because Sharpe said that Favre was “taking from the underserved,” adding he “stole money from people that really needed that money,” further adding that you must be a real sorry individual “to steal from the lowest of the low,” during a past episode of Undisputed, the Fox Sports sport’s debate show Sharpe used to co-host with Skip Bayless.

According to Mississippi State Auditor Shad White, the Mississippi Department of Human Services misused more than $77 million from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program from 2016 to 2019.
Those funds are supposed to help the natives of Mississippi, specifically Black folk in the state because they are considered some of the poorest people in the United States.
During his investigation, White found that Favre was the recipient of an improper payment of $1.1 million for speaking fees from a nonprofit organization that spent money from the TANF with approval from the Department of Human Services.
$5 million was also allotted to the University of Mississippi, Favre’s alma mater and where his daughter attended, to build a volleyball arena.
Farve did pay back the $1.1 million, but according to White in a February court filing still owes  $729,790 accrued interest.
The Super Bowl-winning quarterback and current Mississippi native has denied all charges and is not facing any criminal charges.
Favre might be innocent in the eyes of the law, but in the court of opinion that is Black Xitter, he is guilty as charged.

Spotted on TMZ Hip Hop, Ice Spice responded perfectly to fans in the crowd who expressed their disdain for Hip-Hop Annie’s new buddy Taylor Swift during a recent “performance” at Rolling Loud across the pond.

The “Think U The Sh*t (Fart)” crafter had to let fans know that she will always be down with Taylor Swift after fans were not pleased to hear the mega-popular pop star’s voice when the rapper played “Karma,” the single they collaborated on on.

To close out her set, Ice Spice played Taylor Swift singing the song and was met with boos and thumbs down from fans in the crowd.
In response, the “Munch” rapper blew a kiss to unhappy fans before walking off the stage, letting them know it’s all love, but she is riding for TS.

The unlikely duo quickly became besties following the release of the collaborative effort, which earned them both a Best Pop Duo Grammy nomination.
Taylor Swift even brought out Ice Spice to perform the record during her “Eras” tour stop in New Jersey, where Swifties’ greetings were much warmer than at the fan reception in Austria.
Ice Spice even joined Swift in a booth at Super Bowl LVIII to help her cheer on the Kansas City Chiefs and her boyfriend, All-Pro tight end and Champion Travis Kelce.
Seemingly unbothered by the fan’s cold reception to Taylor Swift at the Hip-Hop music festival, the Bronx rapper was later spotted hanging out with UK rapper Central Cee, further sparking dating rumors between the two.

We are sure the Swifties and Taylor Swift are happy to see they have a staunch ally in Ice Spice.

After professionally wrestling for almost a quarter of a century, WWE superstar John Cena is calling it a career.

According to Deadline, the iconic wrestling superstar plans on hanging it up after 23 years of putting on amazing shows in the squared ring exclusively for the WWE. One of the very few wrestlers to have never left the company he started for, John Cena has spent the last two decades and change giving people reasons to both cheer him and jeer him while never once turning heel after becoming the face of the company. At one point, people began to boo him just because he was such a good guy that he became corny to them. It was hilarious.

Now, it seems like the 13-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion is prepared to move on to bigger and better things (Hollywood) as over the weekend, during a surprise appearance at WWE’s Money in the Bank event in Toronto, Canada, Cena shocked everyone when he announced that after next year’s WrestleMania you won’t see him wrestling in the ring ever again.
Per Deadline:

“Why am I here? Tonight, I officially announce my retirement from the WWE,” he said to shocked gasps from the audience.
Later in his speech, Cena revealed he plans to stay on to take part in Monday Night Raw as it makes the unprecedented move to Netflix in January 2025.
“This farewell, it does not end tonight,” he said. “It is filled with opportunity. Everybody, Raw makes history next year when it moves to Netflix. I’ve never been a part of Raw on Netflix, that is history. That is a first, and I will be there. 
“And along with that history making first, we are going to build so many unforgettable lasts. The 2025 Royal Rumble will be my last. The 2025 Elimination Chamber will be my last. And I’m here tonight to announce that in Las Vegas, WrestleMania 2025 will be the last WrestleMania I compete in,” added Cena.
With John Cena at least outlining what his last year of wrestling will entail, we have to wonder what kind of storyline will lead to his exit. Who will be his last antagonist? Roman Reigns? Solo Sikoa? CM Punk? It’s anyone’s guess at this point, but we just hope he puts on a helluva last run as he’s earned it over the decades.
“Thank you so much for letting me play in the house that you built for so many years,” said Cena. “Thank you so much always for your voice, because it’s really loud, and your honesty, because it’s beautifully brutal. Donald Trump features prominently in the latest release of documents related to the disgraced financier, Jeffrey Epstein, with some startling results.
The release of new documents related to the case of the late disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein earlier in the week repeatedly featured former President Donald Trump. The documents were ordered to be unsealed by a Florida court and feature transcripts of grand jury testimony. In the transcripts, it is noted that Trump’s name appears seven times on Epstein’s private jet flight logs. In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Meidas Touch co-founder Ben Meiselas also revealed that “someone who testified under the pseudonym JANE DOE at the Ghislaine Maxwell criminal trial stated that she was introduced to Trump by Epstein when she was 14 years old.”

The documents of the transcript also state that Epstein flew on Trump’s private jet with a young girl of “indeterminate age,” and another document disclosed that a young girl who was allegedly trafficked by Epstein admitted to meeting Trump at his casino. The filings were ordered to be released by Judge Luis Delgado on July 1, a day before legislation signed into law by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis allowed for the release of evidence and testimony from the state’s controversial 2006 investigation into Epstein’s alleged abuse of young girls. The law’s narrow focus since Epstein’s death by suicide in a New York correctional facility in 2019 was a condition of that law. “In this case here, Mr. Epstein is no longer alive, so his reputation could not be damaged by the release of these documents,” said Tampa attorney Todd Foster.
Meiselas and other observers have called out major media outlets for not giving this story enough coverage, noting how the revelations place Trump in a more controversial light. Another user on X, Politics Gal, highlighted that fact in a post. Trump is a rapist and a pedophile. A lifelong criminal who, if reelected, the 6 corrupted members of the Supreme Court have given carte blanche to be an unstoppable, tyrannical dictator. What are we even doing here America?” she wrote.

Jamal Shyne Barrow has since changed his life for the better after serving time for the 1999 nightclub shooting that also involved disgraced Bad Boy CEO Sean Diddy Combs. But the victim of that incident is calling the rapper, turned politician, a “con artist.”

Spotted on HipHopDX, Natania Reuben, the victim of the 1999 NYC nightclub shooting that changed the lives of Shyne and ended J.LO and Diddy’s relationship, spoke more about that infamous night with The Art of Dialogue.

During the interview, Reuben further clarified her statement that Shyne is no longer the man who allegedly pulled the trigger that night.
“I said on my TikTok, Shyne did not shoot me because he didn’t. But Shyne is a con artist,” she said. “Everybody’s like, ‘Oh, we knew Shyne was innocent.’ No, you don’t know a damn thing because he’s far from innocent.”
Diddy was found not guilty in the shooting, but the “Bonnie-N-Shyne” crafter was sentenced to a decade in prison. Following his release, he returned to his native home of Belize, where he is now a philanthropist and politician, and the Leader of The Opposition in the Belize House of Representatives.
Reuben also believes that Shyne is using her, saying that he did not shoot her to boost himself and become prime minister of Belize.
“He’s going to jockey off of me saying Shyne didn’t shoot me to try to leverage himself to get that prime minister seat […] You ain’t nothing but a penny-ante shyster, a shady car salesman, a dressed-up fraud, a liar,” Reuben said.
She also claims that Shyne still owes her money, “You still owe me money. In the settlement, Shyne was responsible… He didn’t have the money to pay.”
Diddy paid Reuben almost $2 million as part of a settlement following the shooting, also claiming the rapper/mogul is still “harassing her,” a claim he has denied.
Shyne Responds To Reuben Saying He Was Not The Shooter
In response to Reuben’s saying Barrow was not the trigger man, Shyne proclaimed his innocence during a news conference in Belize.
“It opens wounds when you hear the victim saying it was Diddy that shot her. That is what is most remarkable.”
“I’ve been saying this all along. Everyone knew all along that I was the fall guy, but my political enemies and detractors tried to make me into this criminal, but everyone knew that I was a young kid that took the fall.
“I’m just saying that I maintained my innocence all this time. I said that I was defending myself. I didn’t get into who did what. But the victim is telling you who did what.”

Conservative politicians are openly pushing Project 2025, a plan to dismantle left and progressive policies to be enacted with the potential reelection of Donald Trump.
The fear of former President Donald Trump returning to the White House has been bolstered by the revelation of a plan crafted by the conservative think tank group the Heritage Foundation. The plan, known as Project 2025, got more attention at the 2024 BET Awards thanks to host Taraji P. Henson addressing the recent Supreme Court decisions criminalizing homelessness. “They are attacking our most vulnerable citizens. The Project 2025 plan is not a game. Look it up!” she said.

What exactly is Project 2025?

Project 2025 is a four-step plan to remake the United States into a “values-oriented” nation intending to eliminate what Republicans call the “deep state” within the American government. It would be enacted at the beginning of the new administration in January 2025. The entire plan is contained in a 920-page document named Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise, which is available for the public to read on its website.
The plan’s first step begins with the document then the assemblage of a database containing personnel loyal to Trump. Trump’s team would then review each candidate before a final selection. The third step involves an online educational system known as the Presidential Administration Academy, which will train those future appointees to hit the ground running to carry out duties. The final step is a playbook covering the first 180 days that is set to empower “a comprehensive, concrete transition plan for each federal agency,” as described by Heritage Foundation President Kevin Roberts, who appeared on MSNBC’s The Weekend to talk about it last week.

So what would come next with Project 2025?
To begin with, if Trump regains office, he would reinstate Schedule F, which would then reclassify tens of thousands out of the two million federal employees to be at-will workers that can be fired easily. President Joe Biden rescinded the plan upon taking office in 2021. Another element focuses on the military by severely gutting veterans’ disability and retirement benefits including placing a 10-year limit on claims, as illustrated in a thread by a user on X, formerly Twitter.

Another aim of Project 2025 is to severely limit immigration to the United States through various methods such as ending updates to the lists for H-2A and H-2B temporary worker visas, forcing states to share taxpayer information and driver’s license information, and terminating the legal protected status of 500,000 “Dreamers” or undocumented immigrants who came to the U.S. as children. Project 2025 would also see a dismantling of the Department of Justice as an independent agency as well as the elimination of “woke” terms such as “sexual orientation” and “diversity, equity, and inclusion” from federal policies.
Lastly, women’s rights would see further erosion with Project 2025 if enacted. According to the Center For American Progress, 48 million American women would lose access to emergency contraception. There would also be nationwide bans on abortion, and those who’ve previously had the procedure would be registered in a database kept by a “Department of Life,” which would withhold Medicaid funding to states still allowing it. In-vitro fertilization would also be banned as well as medical stem cell research in keeping with the conservative principle that “life begins at conception.”

Rudy Giuliani, the former mayor and attorney to Donald Trump, was disbarred in New York on Tuesday in connection to spreading lies about the 2020 election and attempting to overturn the results. Rudy Giuliani was one of the chief Trump proponents who pushed the angle of their being an election fraud during the former business mogul’s failed bid for reelection.
NBC News reports that Rudy Giuliani, 80, is still facing charges of election tampering on behalf of the presumptive Republican Party presidential nominee Donald Trump in the states of Arizona and Georgia, and was named as a co-conspirator in the federal election interference case brought by special counsel Jack Smith.

In an order that was entered on Tuesday, Smith stated that Giuliani had no “good faith basis” to put all of his chips in with Trump in pushing the election fraud narrative. In a New York appeals court, several statements made by Giuliani were presented and painted as false, including those made during a post-election press conference at Four Seasons Total Landscaping amid reports that many outlets called the race for President Joe Biden.
“These false statements were made to improperly bolster respondent’s narrative that due to widespread voter fraud, victory in the 2020 United States presidential election was stolen from his client,” read the decision from a New York appeals court. Giuliani also faces being disbarred in Washington, D.C. after a recent recommendation from the D.C. Bar’s Board of Professional Responsibility.
This latest setback Giuliani adds to a mountain of other happenings since aligning himself with Trump. Back in May, Giuliani’s WABC radio show was eventually canceled after a suspension. Further, a Georgia jury awarded two poll workers $148 million after Giuliani claimed the pair were enacting election fraud without any proof to show.
Rudy Giuliani has not made a statement regarding his disbarment from New York.

The Supreme Court’s ruling on the claim of immunity by former President Donald Trump was condemned in a dissent by Justice Sonia Sotomayor and President Joe Biden afterward.

The nation was rocked on Monday (July 1), as the Supreme Court issued its ruling on former President Donald Trump’s claims of absolute immunity for his actions in office. The vote was 6 – 3, as all of the conservative justices including Chief Justice John Roberts ruled that Trump was entitled to absolute immunity for acts carried out in his official capacity as president, but also ruled that not all of those acts were official. The ruling was seen as a major win for Trump as his trial to determine his role in the events leading up to the January 6 insurrection will now not take place until after the November presidential elections.

The three liberal justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson – dissented, with Sotomayor delivering a blistering opinion underscoring the severity of what took place. “Today’s decision to grant former Presidents criminal immunity reshapes the institution of the Presidency,” Sotomayor wrote, pointedly criticizing their conservative colleagues and Roberts, who authored the ruling. “Orders the Navy’s Seal Team 6 to assassinate a political rival? Immune. Organizes a military coup to hold onto power? Immune. Takes a bribe in exchange for a pardon? Immune. Immune, immune, immune.” She would end the dissent with “The indictment paints a stark portrait of a President desperate to stay in power. Because our Constitution does not shield a former President from answering for criminal and treasonous acts, I dissent.”
Sotomayor’s opinion also called out how the majority – including Trump-appointed Justices Neil Gorsuch, Amy Comey Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh – didn’t offer clear guidelines as to what is deemed official. President Joe Biden issued a nationwide address on Monday evening noting that “America will have to render a judgment about Donald Trump’s behavior” and said the ruling “almost certainly means that there are almost no limits to what the president can do. “This is a fundamentally new principle,” Biden said. “It’s a dangerous precedent, because the power of the office will no longer be constrained by the law.” Biden also highlighted the danger apparent if Trump returns to office in November urging people to vote for democracy, stating that he “will be even more emboldened to do whatever he pleases whenever he wants to do it.”
