The plot thickens when it comes to the investigation into the inner circle of New York City’s Mayor. Reports say that allies of Eric Adams have a taste for the finer things.
As reported by Page Six the legal inquiry into some of the official’s aides is still ongoing. According to a federal task force Brothers Phil and Terence Banks have very expensive taste. The celebrity website spoke to several sources at different hot spots in The Big Apple and they were told that Phil Banks, the current Deputy Mayor of New York City for Public Safety, likes to frequent swanky places. His favorites include Casa Cipriani, a members-only club that charges almost $4,000 a year in dues. Additionally, he and his brother, also frequent Club Macanudo an upscale cigar bar located in midtown Manhattan.
An anonymous co-worker of Phil described him as “greedy ex-boss who thinks he’s above the law”. A retired police supervisor also said “he has expensive taste — cigars, cognac, watches — but he doesn’t like to pay.” The ex badge went to add that “that’s why he got in trouble the first time for hanging out with Jeremy Reichberg.”
Back in 2016 Reichberg was apart of a massive police corruption scandal. Back in September federal agents raided the homes of Phil Banks and Sheena Wright; two aides and longtime friends of the New York City Mayor. Eric Adams however has not been accused of any crime.

Donald Trump is heavy on the campaign trail after some observers believed his showing in the first presidential debate with Vice President Kamala Harris was less stellar than expected. However, a new issue is cropping up in the form of far-Right media figure Laura Loomer, a constant fixture by the former president’s side, so much so that some on Xitter believe the two are having a fling.
Donald Trump, 78, and Laura Loomer, 31, have been seen in several recent photos with one another, with Loomer shown exiting the former mogul’s airplane on a recent campaign stop. Some within the Republican Party, including those who have loudly supported Trump in the past, want him to distance himself from the controversial Loomer for various reasons.
Loomer and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene clashed online after Loomer made an offensive joke about Vice President Harris connected to her Indian and Jamaican heritage. Rep. Greene called out the social media attack, prompting Loomer to unload a barrage of insults in response.
Greene isn’t the only Trump stooge to call for him to reconsider aligning himself with Loomer. Sen. Lindsey Graham and Republican Party North Carolina Sen. Thom Tillis have both had things to say about Loomer’s stances. This has only inflamed Loomer to fire back with insults at anyone she deems to be unloyal to Trump.
While he claims he has no control of Loomer’s words, Trump referred to her as a “free spirit” and says he’s unable to control her outbursts but there is a lingering thought on social media he doesn’t want to.
The aforementioned images of the pair have raised eyebrows and called into question if Trump, who has cheated on former First Lady Melania Trump before, is doing so again with Loomer. For the record, Loomer has denied all claims connected to the rumor.

Mayor Eric Adams stint as the Mayor of New York City has been filled with all kinds of controversy, and idiocy, since he took office in 2022. Now it seems like he and other high-ranking figures in the Big Apple will be going down with his ship as the FBI continues to investigate Eric Adams for alleged crimes committed while in office.
According to ABC7, NYPD Commissioner Edward Caban has resigned from his position after the FBI confiscated the cell phones of himself and others in their ongoing investigation of the Mayor and his inner circle. Though Caban doesn’t necessarily explain what led to his departure from the force, he feels that the investigation itself was enough of a distraction for the NYPD that he felt it be better for him to step down and deal with the consequences in quiet saying, “I am unwilling to let my attention be on anything other than our important work, or the safety of the men and women of the NYPD.”
He knows he’s in trouble something bigly.
ABC7 reports:
The mayor appointed Tom Donlon as interim commissioner. Donlon is a former FBI agent and former New York Homeland Security director.
“My goals are clear: continue the historic progress decreasing crime and removing illegal guns from our communities, uphold the highest standards of integrity and transparency, and support our dedicated officers who put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe,” Donlon said in a statement provided by City Hall.
Although he resigned, Caban’s attorney said he “unequivocally denies any wrongdoing” and has fully cooperated with investigators.
We won’t be surprised if Caban goes Tekashi 6ix9ine and throws Adams and everyone else under the bus to get himself out of trouble.
That being said, Eric Adams has alienated much of New York City with his decisions and policies, so if he ends up getting indicted at some point in the future, New Yorkers may actually celebrate the moment similar to the way we rejoiced when Donald Trump was indicted multiple times. Just sayin.’
We just wonder if Eric Adams would throw himself a going away party as the man has developed a reputation for enjoying a good night out with celebrities any chance he gets.

No surprise, Justin Timberlake gets a slap on the wrist following his DWI antics.
Spotted on Deadline, the “Cry Me A River” singer will only have to pay a tiny fine but will not face drunk driving charges after accepting lesser charges as part of a plea deal.
Per Deadline:
Under the agreement, the ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’ singer will enter a guilty plea of a traffic violation, a far lesser charge. Additionally, Timberlake will have to pay a fine of around $300 to $500 depending on what a judge decides on September 13 when the deal is expected to be rubber stamped and made official.
The plea deal will see the initial Driving While Intoxicated misdemeanor charge dropped. That charge carried a maximum of one year behind bars and a $2500 fine.
While Timberlake did get off easy, the website reports that he can no longer drive in New York state for almost another year because he refused to take a breathalyzer test when Sag Harbor police pulled him over.
The office of Timberlake’s attorney, Edward Burke, who was adamant about his client’s innocence, told Deadline, “for right now he’s not making any comment,” following news of the plea agreement.
What Happened The Night Justin Timberlake Was Pulled Over?
Timberlake was pinched on June 18 after a boozy night on the town with friends at the posh Long Island summer beach destination in the Hamptons.
In the criminal complaint filed by the arresting officer, Timberlake was pulled over after failing to stop at a stop sign while driving a rented BMW SUV.
The officer described Timberlake as being “in an intoxicated condition” with “bloodshot and glassy” eyes and giving off “a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage.”
Timberlake told the officer he only had one martini and refused to take a breathalyzer exam.
He was on a weeklong break from his international tour, pushing his latest album, Everything I Thought It Was.

Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and pundit Laura Loomer are engaged in a nasty online spat, with social media users looking on in glee.
The fallout from former President Donald Trump’s disastrous debate against Vice President Kamala Harris took a turn as Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene got into a fierce spat with far-right figure Laura Loomer online. Greene had commented on an overly racist post by Loomer on X, formerly Twitter that she made over the weekend about Vice President Harris’ South Asian heritage. “This is appalling and extremely racist. It does not represent who we are as Republicans or MAGA,” she wrote. “This does not represent President Trump. This type of behavior should not be tolerated ever.”
Loomer fired off a series of posts on X attacking Greene shortly afterward. “It’s really funny how @mtgreenee (a raging antisemite who said Jews use space lasers to control the world) wants to pretend like I’m a “racist” because I made a funny joke about Kamala Harris making cooking videos and buying curry spice at an anti-Trump spice shop and I mocked how she uses her Indian mom as a way to dodge questions,” she wrote in a post, claiming Greene was “jealous” of her.
Loomer would continue to disparage Greene viciously, mocking her divorce and using Arby’s fast food to refer to one of her body parts. She also would insinuate that Greene was sleeping with former House of Representatives Speaker Kevin McCarthy. Loomer would then call for Greene to be removed from office by a “Republican or Democrat”, saying she would give free information on her. Greene responded, “Laura and I used to be friends going back to 2018. I used to defend her and support her.” On Thursday (September 12), Greene publicly denounced Loomer again at a press conference on Capitol Hill.
The spark to the feud came from an Axios report which detailed Loomer being present on Trump’s private plane as he flew to Philadelphia for the debate, where she was “egging him on” to attack Harris using grievances instead of sticking to debate strategy. Loomer (a rabid 9/11 conspiracy theorist) also joined Trump at the 9/11 Memorial Ceremony in New York City. Social media users who saw the exchange have been reveling in the two hateful personalities going at each other.

Megan Thee Stallion turns into a snake in one of her videos, but that didn’t matter to a real snake that didn’t see eye-to-eye with her during the VMAs.
The Houston artist who has dropped records named “HISS,” “Cobra,” and “BOA” had a hilarious moment with an actual snake while hosting the VMAs on Wednesday night.
Paying tribute to Britney Spears’ iconic 2001 VMAs performance of her song “Im A Slave 4 U,” Thee Stallion rocked a similar look, including an albino Burmese python wrapped around her, just like Spears, who danced with the reptile briefly before handing it off.
Spears admitted she was “scared” during the performance. Fast-forward to this year’s VMAs, Megan Thee Stallion can also relate to Spears’ feelings.
In her attempt to relive that moment, Thee Stallion quickly realized she and the snake would not get along.
“OK. OK. Stop the music, stop the music. I’m just playin’. Come get this snake,” Megan Thee Stallion shouted as handlers came and relieved her of the snake.
“I don’t know this snake. This snake don’t know me. Oh my god. I tried to hold it down for Britney.”
That was the only hiccup in what was a great night for Megan Thee Stallion, who hosted this year’s VMAs, performed, and won two awards: “Trending Video” for the latest smash hit, “Mamushi,” featuring Yuki Chiba, and “Art Direction” for “BOA.”
She also gave the hotties what they wanted with a medley performance of “BOA,” “HISS,” “B.A.S,” “Mamushi,” and more.
Megan Thee Stallion also closed out the night urging people to vote. Unlike many others in her profession, she has been very vocal in supporting Vice President Kamala Harris, performing at a rally in Atlanta and calling out people who will sit out this presidential election in a recent Billboard cover story.

Shannon Sharpe confirmed during an “emergency” episode of his Nightcap podcast with Chad Ochocinco Johnson that his Instagram account was not hacked.
Social media was in an uproar after clips from Sharpe’s accidental Instagram Live session hit timelines featuring the NFL Hall-of-Famer turned sports analyst and podcaster having sex with a woman named Michelle.
Sharpe initially wrote in his IG Stories, “Beware, my @shannonsharpe84 Instagram account was hacked. ” He later confirmed during the episode that this was false and that he mistakenly began sharing the encounter on Instagram Live.

The Club Shay Shay host admitted to Ochocinco that he was “embarrassed” by the intimate moment, featuring him saying some pretty suggestive things and, at one point, growling, making its way onto Instagram Live.
“I came in, I threw my phone on the bed, engaged in an activity. I did not know IG Live. I’ve never been on IG Live, I’ve never turned IG Live on, so I don’t know how it works,” Sharpe explained.
He then revealed that his assistant shut down the live stream and posted the Instagram Stories post about his account being hacked.
Sharpe said he realized what happened after speaking with his marketing representative and learning precisely what happened on his Instagram account.
“My heart sank,” Sharpe said. “I called my agent, I called the agency, I called ESPN, and I [thought] just tell them the truth. My phone wasn’t hacked, it wasn’t a prank, it was me being a healthy, active male.”
Sharpe added that he was “very disappointed in myself” and had “let a lot of people down.” He continued, “Obviously, I’m embarrassed. [I’m] someone that is extremely, extremely private, and to have one of your most intimate details be audio heard for the entire world to hear, I’m embarrassed.”

The two managed to make light of the situation, with Ochocinco pointing to all of the hilarious chatter on X, formerly Twitter. Sharpe even had t-shirts quickly made up to capitalize on his mistake and pushed boner pills during the episode.
Some even believe that Sharpe knew what he was doing, pointing out that there are many steps to starting an Instagram Live session.
Cam’ron believes Sharpe staged the whole incident and points to a plethora of things that Sharpe did during and after it.

Over the Summer Flavor Flav found himself once again making some noise as not only was he recognized as one of Team USA’s biggest cheerleaders during the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, but he and Alexis Ohanian helped pay the rent of Team USA’s Track and Field athlete, Veronica Fraley.
Continuing to keep that Olympian love going into September, Flavor Flav once again demonstrated how good of a human being the man is and during last night’s MTV Video Music Awards, the Hip-Hop icon blessed Olympic gymnast, Jordan Chiles with the kind of gift that only he could give.
According to the Huffpost, the “Fight The Power” artist blessed Chiles with a shiny bronze-colored clock after the gymnast was stripped of her bronze medal after the Romanian Federation of Gymnastics filed an appeal on behalf of Ana Barbosu of Romania. Naturally this sparked outrage and disbelief amongst Americans and moved Flavor Flav to announce that he had a bronze medal of his own in the works for Chiles.
Last night, he was finally able to gift it to her.

The moment came roughly a month after an arbitration panel said it wouldn’t reconsider its decision on Chiles’ medal. USA Gymnastics pledged to continue to “pursue every possible avenue and appeal process,” including a potential court case.
Flav, who took the stage with Chiles to present the Best Collaboration category, turned the VMAs appearance into a “little Olympic moment.”
“I know they tried to take your medal away from you, but you know what? I got you something that they can’t take away from you,” said Flav, before showing the gift to Chiles.
The gymnast glowed with a smile as Flav tied a string necklace with the clock on it around her neck. Then, as Chiles looked on, stunned, Flav donned a Team USA water polo hat.
Gotta love Flavor Flav, b.
While we doubt she’ll be walking around in public with the bronze piece, it’s still a nice gesture and overall beautiful moment.

Taylor Swift is not letting her fans get finessed by artificial intelligence. She has formally endorsed Kamala Harris for President of the United States
As reported by The Verge the music superstar is standing on democratic business. After the conclusion of the presidential debate on Tuesday, September 10, the Tortured Poets Department singer took to Instagram and made it clear that she is casting her vote for Kamala Harris. “Recently I was made aware that AI of ‘me’ falsely endorsing Donald Trump’s presidential run was posted to his site. It really conjured up my fears around AI, and the dangers of spreading misinformation,” her caption read. “It brought me to the conclusion that I need to be very transparent about my actual plans for this election as a voter. The simplest way to combat misinformation is with the truth.”
She went on add that “I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.” The rest of the post encourages her followers and fans to do their own research on both candidates and reminded everyone to register. Additionally she featured a link that shared more information on where to register by state in her Instagram Story. The post is a reference to some AI generated images Donald Trump shared back in August that depicted Taylor Swift fans wearing “Swifties For Trump” shirts and an image of the songstress wearing an Uncle Sam outfit with the caption “Taylor Wants YOU To VOTE For Donald Trump.”
As expected the announcement has many republicans in their feelings. JD Vance responded saying “I don’t think many people are going to be influenced by a billionaire celebrity who I think is disconnected from the interests and the problems of most Americans.” One X user wrote “Who the heck is Taylor Swift? Just another pretty face and half clad body that no one will care about in 10 years when she’s filled with botox and plastic. Just ask Madonna.”
