Donald Trump and his connection to President Vladimir Putin have come under scrutiny over time and a new book from longtime journalist Bob Woodward delves deeper into the ties. In Woodward’s latest book War, the author shares details of Donald Trump sending COVID-19 tests to Vladimir Putin, holding telephone conversations with the Russian leader, and more.
The explosive details shared in Woodward’s new book reveal Trump’s deeper ties to Putin than previously reported. As seen in a report from CNN, which obtained an advanced copy of the book, Woodward wrote that Trump secretly sent COVID-19 tests to the Russian leader for Putin’s use and this occurred during the height of the pandemic that ravaged the United States.
Woodward also shared in his writings that Trump called Putin at least seven times since leaving office, further solidifying their relationship with one another.
More from CNN:
During the height of the pandemic, Russia and the United States did exchange medical equipment such as ventilators. But Putin — who infamously isolated himself over fears of Covid — told Trump on a phone call to keep the delivery of the Abbott machines quiet, Woodward reports.
“Please don’t tell anybody you sent these to me,” Putin said to Trump, according to Woodward.
“I don’t care,” Trump replied. “Fine.”
“No, no,” Putin said. “I don’t want you to tell anybody because people will get mad at you, not me. They don’t care about me.”
Donald Trump and his team have denied Woodward’s account of the events laid out in Woodward’s book.
Woodward also highlights candid conversations held by President Joe Biden, including one especially profanity-laced exchange regarding Putin and another highlighting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The Kremlin confirmed via spokesperson Dmitry Peskov that Trump did indeed send the COVID-19 equipment as told to Bloomberg News. Peskov did say to Russian outlet RBC that Trump and Putin did not speak on the phone at the rate Woodward said in his book.

Vice President Kamala Harris confirmed that she owns a Glock and has been to the firing range during her 60 Minutes interview.
On Monday (October 7), the anticipated 60 Minutes interview with Vice President Kamala Harris aired, and included among several of the key moments was Harris speaking about being a gun owner. “It’s a hard left turn here, but you recently surprised people when you said you were a gun owner,” interviewer Bill Whitaker began, “what kind of guns do you own and why did you get them?”
“I have a Glock, and I’ve had it for quite some time,” the Democratic presidential nominee replied. “Look, Bill, my background is in law enforcement, so there you go.” Whitaker then asked her if she’s ever fired it. “Of course I have,” she said with laughter. “At a shooting range. Yes, of course I have.”
https://twitter.com/KamalaHarris/status/1843450339774574637
The topic of the vice president being a gun owner was recently raised during her chat with Oprah Winfrey in Michigan last month, where she mentioned owning a firearm. “If someone breaks into my house, they’re getting shot,” she replied, which garnered laughter from Winfrey and the audience. Harris has mentioned being a gun owner before, as she began her first campaign for the presidency while she was still a U.S. Senator back in 2019. “I own a gun for probably the reason a lot of people do — for personal safety,” she said at the time. She also supported a ban on assault rifles and mandatory gun buybacks, but her current campaign position no longer supports buybacks.
The Harris presidential campaign still advocates for red-flag laws and universal background checks. Her vice presidential pick, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, has spoken publicly about being an avid shooter. He once was viewed favorably by the National Rifle Association, but saw his rating go from an A to an F after he supported tighter gun restrictions once he became governor.

With the massive success that Deadpool has been experiencing over the past few years, creator Rob Liefeld could just sit back and laugh all the way to the bank, but the comic book artist is still on his grind and is looking to breath more life into one of his more overlooked comic book series, Youngblood.
According to Deadline, Rob Liefeld will be returning to the comic book series he created in the 1980’s for Image Comic and not only will they be rebooting the franchise with new merchandise and media, but Leifeld will also be writing and illustrating the series as he did back in the day. Jesus H. Christ, we’re old. Though the comic book team itself never really reached X-Men or Avengers-ish heights, it did find a loyal fanbase that appreciated the characters and stories as Image Comics burst out the gate with dope new superheroes such as Spawn, The Savage Dragon and WildC.A.T.S.
Per Deadline:
Youngblood became the first independent non-Marvel, non-DC Comic title to chart at #1 and sell over 1M copies. The original Youngblood miniseries sold over 25M copies worldwide, and its publication history spans over 100 issues with featured contributions throughout its run from comic talents such as Robert Kirkman (Invincible, The Walking Dead) Alan Moore (Watchmen, Supreme), and Mark Millar (Kick-Ass, The Kingsmen).
Says Liefeld, “It’s so great that I can run into the comfort of characters that I created, that launched a movement. They carry such history. I love Youngblood so much. These characters are my absolute passion.”
Rosenberg adds, “Rob and I are a fantastic team, and I’m as excited now for Youngblood’s relaunch as I was in 1992 for its initial launch. The team’s awesome characters have not only been in their own Youngblood comics, but also appeared in more than 100 million comic publications worldwide, including crossovers with Marvel and other Image comics. I’m excited to bring them to audiences old and new with their original creator, Rob Liefeld.”
While details surrounding Leifeld’s return to the franchise is scarce at this point, they do plan to release a “Youngblood Vault Edition representing high resolution scans of the original art from the first Youngblood series in a deluxe oversized hardcover, as well as a Facsimile Edition of Youngblood #1 to mark the title’s 33rd anniversary in April 2025, both to be published by Image Comics.”
Those day-one Youngblood fans will be ecstatic to learn of the news. Whether or not the series will find a new fanbase in 2024 remains to be seen.
What do y’all think about Rob Liefeld making his way back to his baby, Youngblood? Let us know in the comments section below.

Donald Trump remains in a tight race with Vice President Kamala Harris which ends in just under a month, and the stakes are rising higher than ever. In a new interview, Donald Trump attacked immigrants with a vile comment suggesting that they are “bad genes” in the country who have a genetic predisposition to murder.
Donald Trump appeared on The Hugh Hewitt Show on Monday (October 7) and immediately seized upon the xenophobic fears of his supporters by aiming attacks at Vice President Harris and immigration policies enacted under President Joe Biden. Furthering his stances on the southern border and attempting to frame Harris as a communist, Trump went on a verbal tear that many are currently decrying.
“When you look at the things that she proposes, they’re so far off she has no clue. How about allowing people to come to an open border, 13,000 of which were murderers,” Trump says.
He added, “Many of them murdered far more than one person, and they’re now happily living in the United States. You know, now a murderer, I believe this, it’s in their genes. And we got a lot of bad genes in our country right now. They left, they had 425,000 people come into our country that shouldn’t be here, that are criminals.”
Trump’s comments were found to be appalling by others in the media, including the panelists of the Morning Joe show on MSNBC, which discussed the matter on the Tuesday morning broadcast of the program. Across X, others observed Trump’s chat with Hewitt and considered his words offensive and a rallying cry for fascism among other digs.
Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt, perhaps realizing how much of a gaffe this could be considering Election Day is fast approaching, countered in a statement that Donald Trump was referring to murderers and not migrants but it appears the damage is done.
Across X, formerly Twitter, many are discussing Donald Trump’s “bad genes” quip. We’ve got reactions listed below.
JUST NOW: @realDonaldTrump leans heavily into race science by telling @hughhewitt that you can tell whether migrants are predisposed to committing murder by “their genes.”
“We got a lot of bad genes in our country right now,” he adds. pic.twitter.com/t722iYq4Hm

The cause of death of the celebrated actor John Amos has been revealed as his family members are clashing publicly.
Veteran actor John Amos’ cause of death was revealed as his family members and others continue to clash publicly over the situation. According to reports from People Magazine, Amos died of congestive heart failure at an Inglewood, California hospital at 5:18 P.M. on August 21. Further records show that Amos was cremated on August 30, nine days after his passing. His son, Kelly Christopher “K.C.” Amos, is listed as the informant on the death certificate by Los Angeles County. Records also show that there was no autopsy conducted.
John Amos’ death announcement, which occurred on October 1, has reignited a public feud between K.C. and his sister, Shannon Amos. In a post on Instagram, Shannon Amos wrote “We are devastated and left with many questions about how this happened 45 days ago, learning about it through the media like so many of you,” detailing that she was “struggling” to
comprehend the “uncertainties surrounding his passing.”
She would also be part of a statement from “collective family and close friends,” including Amos’ goddaughter Amy Goudy that was issued on Facebook on October 2. The statement questioned K.C. Amos’ treatment of their father in his final days and alleged that he failed to notify other family members of the circumstances, claiming “he was likely cremated to avoid any potential investigation into the conditions surrounding his final days.” Shannon and K.C. have clashed before, with Shannon claiming elder abuse was committed by K.C.
John Amos’ publicist, Belinda Foster, who was also named along with K.C. Amos in the statement, refuted those claims citing a 2023 no-contact court order in New Jersey that Shannon brought against K.C. “At the time of his death, John was concerned that Shannon might turn his death and interment into a circus as she had done with other aspects of his life.” Foster wrote, adding: “It was John who requested the delay in announcing his death to Shannon and the rest of the world.” The publicist (who would note that the 84-year-old Amos denied any elder abuse in the past) would conclude by saying, “For the sake of preserving John’s well-earned reputation as a superb actor and a community activist, we hope we can put to rest these nonsensical claims that Shannon is offering out of her own pain as a result of estrangement from her father.”

Elon Musk continues to make a complete fool out of himself.
The billionaire tech exec who desperately wants to be like Tony Stark has made it no secret where he stands politically, but on Saturday, he made it very clear that he is MAGA, or as he put it, “Dark MAGA,” whatever the hell that means.
Phony Stark, aka Elon Musk, happily jumped his way onto the stage during Trump’s latest rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, yup, the same place of the first assassination attempt on former disgraced president Donald Trump back in July.
The Tesla and SpaceX Chief got on the stage and, in front of the microphone, spewed the same ridiculous rhetoric that Trump does daily, whether it’s on his bootleg social media platform where his loyal deplorable followers feel safe.
Elon Musk Is Proudly “Dark MAGA”
Musk said, “This will be the last election” if the orange menace doesn’t win while wearing an official new Klan Hood, a “Make America Great Again” cap.
“As you can see, I am not just MAGA — I am Dark MAGA,” he continued.
He also spewed the lies that Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz are coming “to take away your freedom of speech, they want to take away your right to bear arms, they want to take away your right to vote, effectively.”
Musk also criticized California for its effort to ban voter ID requirements, one of the many voter suppression ideas that would primarily affect voters of color.
Musk’s appearance yesterday at Trump’s rally marked the first time he has appeared alongside Trump during one of his rallies.
He already has formed a super political action committee, which is spending a lot of money to help get out the vote efforts to get the divider-in-chief back in office.
He also held a Spaces event for him on X, during which Donald Trump did a lot of meandering and talking about nothing, which is basically what he does best.
Trump has said that if he does win, he will appoint Musk to lead a government efficiency agency because he loves to “hire the best people” for jobs.
Phony Stark Is Getting Clowned On His Own Sh*t
Musk’s glazing of the man who once called him a phony and failure is getting him clowned on his platform, and deservingly so.
Lol.
We are always here for Phony Stark getting dunked on.

A Republican congressman from New York was confronted with pictures of him wearing blackface as part of a Michael Jackson costume.
On Thursday (Oct. 3), Republican Congressman Mike Lawler found himself caught up in controversy when pictures of him in blackface for a Halloween portrayal of Michael Jackson were published. The publication of the photos by the New York Times, taken in October 2006, show Lawler at a gathering at Manhattan College striking a pose similar to a signature pose of Jackson’s, and another of him wearing a red jacket and black t-shirt with his face noticeably darkened. According to a former classmate who remained anonymous, Lawler used bronzer, which he borrowed from a female classmate.
In a statement, the representative for New York’s 17th district including the Hudson Valley said that his costume was “truly the sincerest form of flattery, a genuine homage to my musical hero since I was a little kid trying to moonwalk through my mom’s kitchen.” Lawler has been an avowed fan of the late superstar, with Jackson biographer J. Randy Taraborrelli having arranged for him to attend Jackson’s criminal trial in 2005 for the alleged molestation of a 13-year-old boy. Taraborrelli would later detail how Lawler was so upset “that he couldn’t help but mutter something derogatory under his breath.” He would then be kicked out of the courtroom.
Lawler appeared on CNN later in the evening on The Source with Kaitlan Collins. “I certainly understand why people would be upset or offended by it, and for that, I’m sorry,” he said, before remarking that he felt his photos weren’t what could be “construed as blackface.” “I think there is a stark difference between dressing up for Halloween and paying homage to somebody you like and respect, versus dressing up in blackface to demean and dehumanize Black people. That’s obviously not what I was doing there,” Lawler said. Collins would then go into the “ugly history” of the practice, noting that Lawler’s suburban district is home to 59,000 Black residents.
The controversy arises as Lawler is up for reelection against former congressman Mondaire Jones. Lawler has shifted to a more moderate position in recent months, being vague about his full support of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. Jones, who is Black, has hammered him on that support in his campaign. The district is one observers are watching closely as a possible flip back to Democratic control in November.

Elon Musk might want to learn to shut his mouth when discussing particular subjects.
Spotted on Page Six per The Daily Mail’s reporting, Phony Stark, aka Elon Musk, reportedly used to brag about his friendship with Sean Diddy Combs, according to a new book.
These developments come after the Tesla chief asked who knew about the disgraced music mogul allegedly sexually abusing a 9-year-old after more allegations arrived.
“I don’t know if you know this, but Puff is an investor in Twitter,” Musk proudly boasted to current Revolt CEO Detavio Samuels, reporters Ryan Mac and Kate Conger write in their new book, “Character Limit: How Elon Musk Destroyed Twitter.” The Daily Mail reports.
“You know, he’s a good friend of mine. We text a lot,” he allegedly added.
The New York Post’s gossip section also points out photographic evidence of Musk and Diddy attending a Dave Chappelle Netflix Is A Joke comedy special in 2022.
In a repost of a Daily Mail headline reporting, “Diddy accused of abusing nine-year-old d boy and spiking drinks with horse tranquilizer with shocking claims,” Musk wrote in the caption, “How many people in music & entertainment knew about this?”
Who Else Knew?
Since Diddy’s downfall, many people wondered if any of the mogul’s famous friends knew about his shenanigans. Many of those same celebrities have quickly disassociated themselves from The Diddler after people found all the photos featuring the Bad Boy general and his celeb friends.
Then, of course, you got people like Jaguar Wright out here on a mission to link JAY-Z to Diddy’s alleged crimes.
Again, Musk needs to ensure he has all his ducks in a row before he gets on the “crazy if true” train since he’s allegedly boasting about being homies with Diddy.
Just saying.

Mr. Prada, a TikTok star famous for posts on the social media platform who once dropped a post practicing for his mugshot, is now behind bars after being arrested for second-degree murder.
Terryon Thomas, also known as Mr. Prada, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder of a therapist after his body was found along a stretch of a Louisiana highway over the weekend.
Authorities in Dallas County, Texas, detained the social media star on Monday, a booking sheet revealed.
Per Page Six, the 20-year-old was originally arrested for “damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle” before he was charged with obstruction and murder in the second degree.
He is currently being held without bond.
The car involved in the arrest belonged to William Nicholas Abraham, a Baton Rouge, Louisiana.-based therapist whose body was found wrapped in a tarp alongside a Louisiana highway on Sunday.
According to the coroner’s office via the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office in Hammond, Louisiana, Abraham, 69, died of blunt-force trauma. His death was immediately ruled a homicide.
Tangipahoa Parish authorities shared surveillance camera screenshots of a person they claimed was the last person seen driving Abraham’s vehicle in Baton Rouge.
The person driving the vehicle sped away from authorities during a traffic stop and fled on foot after crashing the vehicle.
Abraham Was Accused of Touching an 11-year-old Boy
Abraham also had his run-in with the law after he was arrested in 2015 after being accused of inappropriately touching an 11-year-old boy during a therapy session.
He was never charged, and Tangipahoa Sheriff Gerald Sticker said he is aware of Abraham’s previous arrest, but the focus remains on figuring out where he was killed.
Of course, users on X, formerly Twitter, put on their detective hats and are trying to connect the dots between Abraham’s previous arrest and his murder.
Without any shred of proof, one post on X read, “Hearing that Mr Prada allegedly was SA’d by his therapist, told police and they did nothing and now he’s facing charges for kllllng the therapist is insane. People need to believe victims so they don’t turn into suspects. That boy been crying for help for months.”
That post has over 99 thousand likes.
