From ‘Hawk Tuah’ to ‘Talk Tuah’: Haliey Welch Nabs Podcast Gig

Haliey Welch may have started out with a spontaneous viral video, but she’s making sure she gets more than just 15 minutes of fame.

On Tuesday (Sept. 3), the 21-year-old Tennessee native — who’s perhaps better known as the “Hawk Tuah” Girl — announced that she’s launching her own podcast, Talk Tuah. The show joins Jake Paul and Joey Levy’s Betr Media family, which also includes BS w/ Jake Paul, Twin Talk With Hanna and Haley Cavinder, Bo Nickal’s Nickals and Dimes and Adam Tabatchnick and Jack Parodi’s Caps Off.

With its first episode going live Sept. 10, featuring special guest Whitney Cummings, Talk Tuah will find Welch facilitating conversations, sharing her opinions and flexing the same comedy genius that brought the “Hawk Tuah” phenomenon to the world in episodes every Tuesday. “Y’all kept asking ‘What’s next?’ Well this is it!” she said in a statement. “I’m so thankful to have my own podcast where you’ll discover the real Haliey Welch.”

“My show will have a little of everything – great guests, laughs, relationship pointers, and, of course, some down home southern charm,” she added.

The influencer also shared a trailer for Talk Tuah on Instagram, showing off her new life in the fast lane — joining Zach Bryan onstage, riding jet skis, etc — after finding fame in a viral NSFW Tim & Dee TV on-the-street video. Barbie Teams With Krispy Kreme for a Tasty New Collection: How to Buy the Limited-Edition Doughnuts Online

To celebrate the 65th anniversary of Barbie, the brand and Krispy Kreme teamed up for a sweet collaboration. Available now until Sept. 15, the Barbie x Krispy Kreme Collection includes four delectable doughnuts covered in pink designs inspired by the iconic doll.

The tasty collection includes the Barbie Pink Doughnut, a glazed doughnut with pink buttercream piping, pink sugar and Barbie sunglasses; the Malibu Dream Party Doughnut, an unglazed shell doughnut filled with Krispy Kreme’s Cake Batter Kreme and dipped in Malibu blue icing with sparkly graham sand and topped with a Barbie DreamHouse piece.

The Barbie Berries n’ Kreme Doughnut is filled with the brand’s Strawberry Kreme, dipped in white icing, drizzled with purple and pink buttercream and topped with a Barbie-emblem heart. Watch Lady Gaga Enable Joker’s Descent into Madness in ‘Folie à Deux’ Teaser: ‘He’s Not Sick!’

In Joker: Folie à Deux, Lady Gaga‘s Harley Quinn loves Joaquin Phoenix’s Arthur Fleck exactly the way he is — ’cause baby, he was born this way.

One month ahead of the premiere of Todd Phillips’ Joker sequel, Warner Brothers dropped a new teaser showcasing how the pop superstar’s character enables the iconic DC Comics villain’s descent into madness. In the 30-second clip, Phoenix cackles while sitting in the back of a police car, standing in the rain at a facility and, at one point, attacking a judge in a courtroom, the volume of his creepy laughter slowly increasing throughout.

“He’s a monster,” an unseen voice says, while another adds, “This is a very disturbed individual.”

But as Joker is swarmed with press and adoring fans, Gaga counters, “He’s not sick! He’s perfect.”

Set to hit theaters Oct. 4, Folie à Deux will show Fleck awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. While institutionalized, he meets Quinn, and the pair embark on a chaotic musical journey that leaves viewers wondering what’s real and what’s imagined.

In a full-length trailer posted in July, for instance, the two characters waltz to Frank Sinatra’s “When You’re Smiling” in glamorous outfits before taking the stage of a 1960s-esque variety show, both wearing their signature clown face paint. “I got the sneaking suspicion we’re not giving the people what they want,” Joker says into an old-fashioned microphone in the trailer, to which Quinn replies, “It’s OK, baby — let’s give the people what they want.”

The teaser comes a couple weeks after Gaga dropped “Die With a Smile” with Bruno Mars, her first proper single since 2022’s “Hold My Hand” from the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack. The duet debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Omar Apollo Reveals He Has a Sex Scene With Daniel Craig in ‘Queer’: ‘I Had to Get on the Soup Diet’

While Omar Apollo might be known for stealing hearts through his songs, the singer says that his upcoming role in a new film saw him stealing a scene alongside a former 007.

In a new story for Interview Magazine, Apollo interviewed Drew Starkey, his co-star in the upcoming Luca Guadagnino film Queer. At one point, when the pair began speaking about their respective diets for the film, Apollo revealed that he shot a sex scene with co-star Daniel Craig.

“I had to get on the soup diet. Luca did not tell me to lose weight, but when you’re about to have a sex scene with Daniel Craig, you’re like, ‘Oh, dude, I can’t be looking off,’” Apollo said. “I was at 200 pounds, because I’m 6’5″ … but I got down to 181 when the movie came. I lost 20 pounds because I read in the script that my character had a flat brown stomach. I was like, ‘Damn, I’m actually not flat right now.’ I had to get it together, and I was on tour with SZA. Luckily, I didn’t have that many lines.”

Elsewhere in the conversation, Apollo spoke glowingly of the Knives Out actor, saying that he helped ease his nerves before their big scene. “I had a really cool experience with him … I remember asking him, ‘How do you feel when the camera’s on?’ And he said, ‘To be honest, every time the camera’s on me, I’m terrified,’” Apollo revealed. “I thought that was beautiful. You have to be vulnerable. You have to be open to these emotions. It was such an honest answer.”

Queer is based on the 1985 novel of the same name by author William S. Burroughs. It follows the story of William Lee (Craig), an American expatriate living in Mexico City in the 1940s who becomes infatuated with a younger man (Starkey). Apollo’s specific role in the film has yet to be revealed.
