The Los Angeles Dodgers squeaked out a Game 7 World Series comeback victory for the ages against the Toronto Blue Jays, and somehow Drake is catching all the strays.

The Toronto Blue Jays watched the World Series title slip through their hands after leading most of the game following Bo Bichete’s impressive home run off Shohei Ohtani. Their hopes and dreams of becoming champions vanished after Will Smith crushed a hanging slider in the 11th inning, giving the Dodgers their first lead and eventual Game 7 victory.

The final out came on a double-play ball on more masterful pitching from Japanese right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who pitched in Game 7 on 0 days’ rest and was named World Series MVP.

Somehow, The Blue Jays Losing The World Series Became Drake’s Fault

After the Dodgers became the first team since the 2000 Yankees to go back-to-back, one person began catching all the strays on social media —and no, it wasn’t a member of the Blue Jays; it was none other than Drake.

The writing was on the wall: the Blue Jays lost two straight home games, and the common denominator was Drake being at both. When the final out was called and the Dodgers began celebrating on the Rogers Centre field, the trolling of Drake on social media started.

Interestingly enough, Nike, which has both Kendrick Lamar and Drake on their Nike family roster, with the latter having his own signature collection with Noctis, ran an ad congratulating the Dodgers with Lamar’s song “Squable Up” as the soundtrack.

The MLB on Fox account on social media got in on the fun, posting a photoshopped meme of Kendrick Lamar driving away in a GNX with the World Series title on the roof of the vehicle while blowing exhaust smoke on Drake with “They Not Like Us” written on the field.

The caption for the post… “DAMN.”

Of course, some fans are also attributing the loss to the dreaded Drake curse —if that’s even a thing, and it seems like it is.

50 Cent Trolls Lil Meech After ‘BMF’ Was Canceled By Starz

BMF’s run at Starz will end after four seasons, and of course, 50 Cent couldn’t resist trolling the drama series’s star Lil Meech.

The crime drama, which premiered in 2021 and tells the story of real-life drug dealers and Detroit street gang, Black Mafia Family, founders Demetrius and Terry Flenory, will not continue on Starz following season four’s finale.

BMF was one of several shows executive-produced by 50 Cent under his G-Unit Films and Television banner, which was also set to get multiple spinoffs, according to the Queens rapper and actor, following the same formula as the Power franchise.

Variety reports that, according to sources, those series are still in development.

The cast of the show featured Demetrius Flenory Jr. — son of BMF co-founder Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory, Da’Vinchi, Russell Hornsby, Michole Briana White, Michole Briana White, Steve Harris, La La Anthony, Sydney Mitchell, Laila D. Pruitt, Myles Truitt, and Eric Kofi-Abrefa.

It also had a plethora of high-profile guest appearances from Hip-Hop artists like Snoop Dogg, Eminem, 2 Chainz, Yung Miami, and Saweetie. Other notable guest appearances included Wood Harris and Mo’Nique.

The logline for the fourth season read:

“As Meech (Flenory) and Terry (Da’Vinchi) fight to keep their American Dream alive, staying ahead of their rivals and law enforcement takes a toll on their relationship. The brothers occasionally put aside their differences for their common goals, but the events of what happened in Mexico will change them forever.”

Following the news, 50 Cent, a legendary troll who was feuding with the show’s star, Lil Meech, didn’t waste any time clowning Big Meech’s seed.

50 Cent has been threatening to fire Lil Meech from the show and revealed he was allegedly high on drugs while on set.

All the drama stemmed from Lil Meech defending his father for taking money from 50 Cent’s longtime nemesis, Rick Ross.

Football merch is getting an upgrade. The National Football League has struck a deal with Lululemon for a new collaboration.

As spotted on Variety, Lululemon is expanding its portfolio beyond the athletic apparel space. This week, the Vancouver, Canada-based label announced a partnership with the NFL. The move is significant for Lululemon, as this is their first-ever licensed merch collection. The drop includes all 32 teams, with pieces for both men and women. Included are some of Lulu’s signature styles, including the Women’s Scuba hooded sweatshirt and the Men’s Steady State crewneck. Developed in conjunction with Fanatics, the “Welcome to the Fam Club” campaign tapped some of the sport’s most influential personalities. Serving as the faces for the launch are the likes of Joe Montana, Ryan Clark, Emmanuel Acho, and more.

Lululemon senior leadership detailed why the collaboration made so much sense in a press statement. “True NFL fans wear their pride. For them, fan gear is more than apparel, it’s a badge of loyalty and a way to instantly connect with a community that is like a family,” said Celeste Burgoyne, President, Americas and Global Guest Innovation, at Lululemon. “We looked to honor that passionate devotion and are thrilled to be part of that ritual found throughout the NFL season.”

The National Football League was as equally excited to offer elevated team merch all backed by Lululemon’s commitment to quality. “Together with Fanatics, we are introducing an elevated collection that redefines modern fan apparel and is uniquely designed for everyday comfort,” said Renie Anderson, Executive Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer, at the NFL. “Lululemon boasts a loyal fan base built on culture, meaningful connections and innovation, qualities that thoroughly reflect the NFL.”

Waithe revealed that she is developing a film that will turn her “troubled friendship” with Issa Rae into a buddy comedy, and it will star both of them.

On a recent episode of Bustle’s One Nightstand podcast, Waithe described the movie as “funny and silly,” inspired by their “friendship breakup.”

“I’m working on this movie for myself and Issa Rae,” Waithe said. “It’s a really cool idea about us being friends and having a bit of a friendship breakup, and it’s really funny and silly. I was supposed to be writing beats for her, but I ultimately just started writing the script.”

She also revealed the she and Rae have been discussing plans for the movie over Zoom adding the characters in the film will be “thinly-veiled versions” of themselves while also adding “The characters’ names [are] Lena and Issa, I’m not even being that imaginative about it.”

Waithe added, they “want to” play themselves in the film. “Issa’s going to be like, ‘Oh s***, well now we got to do it.”

This latest news comes on the heels of Waite wrapping up her Showtime drama, The Chi, which will finally end after eight seasons, putting it in the same category as other Showtime series Dexter, Homeland and Weeds as the network’s second-longest running series.

Whenever this film begins production, it will be the first project since the controversial 2019 film, Queen & Slim that starred Daniel Kaluuyah and Jodie Turner-Smith which sparked alot of dicussions about its plot revolving around a Black couple on the run after shooting a cop accidentally following a blind date.

Despite the fallout, speaking with Deadline, Waithe said she is still making films telling the website in an interview “As for what the future holds, I still plan on telling stories, continuing to build community, and making space for us all to be seen.”

For Rae, she is coming off 2023’s box office hit Barbie and the critically acclaimed American Fiction.

Stephen A. Smith Apologizes To Rep. Jasmine Crockett Critiques

Stephen A. Smith used his massive platform to lash out at Rep. Jasmine Crockett, urging the Texas congresswoman to put aside her grievances with President Donald Trump. With the smoke clearing and after getting blasted online and in the media, Stephen A. Smith walked back his critiques of Crockett and took a shot at Trump as well.

Via his Straight Shooter With Stephen A program, Stephen A. Smith, apparently inspired by President Trump and his administration’s targeted attacks against Rep. Crockett, gave an apology that wasn’t as full-throated as his earlier digs against the Texas congresswoman.

“I can look Jasmine Crockett in the face and say I’m sorry for any kind of noise I caused in your direction, because she is accomplished, and she is smart, and she does have an incredible, incredible challenge working in this political climate on Capitol Hill,” Smith said.

Smith also said, “I saw something disturbing in regards to President Donald Trump and how he came at Representative Jasmine Crockett. I get it now with Trump feeding into that nonsense, giving him ammunition to continue to go out there and talk about our Black women that way, I got it.”

President Trump referred to Congresswoman Crockett as a “low IQ person” this past June, a shot she didn’t take without returning fire of her own.

Smith also hit back at his critics, who felt that his words were meant to attack or harm Crockett because she’s a woman.

“When somebody tries to take that to accuse me of being disrespectful or in any way misogynistic, I’m going to push back on that because that’s emphatically false. There’s no truth to that whatsoever, and I’m not accepting that, and I’m not owning that,” Smith added.

Smith also took a dig at the Democratic Party, suggesting that its leaders figure out better strategies to appeal to voters, stating that Trump won the past election due to frustrations with the party at large.

Shaquille O’Neal’s Custom 2025 Range Rover Stolen In “Highly Coordinated Criminal Scheme”

Shaquille O’Neal is down one of his custom vehicles before reaching its destination.

The NY Post reports that Hall of Fame NBA Champion Shaquille O’Neal’s custom 2025 Range Rover was stolen in what the company responsible for transporting the tricked-out vehicle described as “a highly coordinated criminal act.”

According to TMZ Sports, the custom vehicle was lifted in Georgia. The Lumpkin County Sheriff’s Office (GA) told the celebrity gossip site they received a report that a Black luxury SUV that underwent work at a local shop in Dahlonega, GA, was missing.

The 2025 Range Rover, which underwent custom work, including the installation of seats to accommodate O’Neal’s 7’1 frame, was to be transported from Georgia to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, by a shipping company, but was stolen by someone impersonating the company, according to law enforcement.

Effortless Motors, which sold Shaq the vehicle and arranged its transport, is offering a $10K reward for the return of the Range Rover.

Per TMZ Sports:

“Effortless Motors was the authorized selling dealership and arranged transport through a third-party company that appeared fully verified. Upon the vehicle’s scheduled delivery, it was discovered that the company’s internal systems had been compromised and hijacked, resulting in the car being unlawfully taken during transit,” we’re told.

“We take the security and trust of our clients very seriously,” said a spokesperson for Effortless Motors. “This was a highly coordinated criminal act targeting the transport company’s network. We are working closely with law enforcement and federal investigators to recover the vehicle and hold those responsible accountable.”

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is still ongoing, according to TMZ Sports.

Halle Berry Is No Rush To Marry Long-Time Boyfriend Van Hunt

We don’t blame Van Hunt for wanting to put a ring on Halle Berry’s finger, but the actress isn’t quite ready to jump the broom again.

You can put that all-white wedding dress on hold, because Halle Berry will not be meeting her long-time boyfriend Van Hunt at the altar anytime soon.

On a Tuesday taping of Today with Jenna & Friends, the actress and the singer joined Jenna Bush Hager for the first-ever interview together as a couple.

During the interview, with flowers in his hand, Hunt was understandably giddy about his relationship with the Oscar-winning actress, even hinting that he was ready to take things to the next level.

“So I put out the proposal, and it’s still on hold, as you can see,” Hunt said. “It’s just out there floating. You know, maybe you can encourage her.”

Unfortunately for Hunt, thanks to previous failed attempts to attain her happily ever after, Berry gently shut down any talk of marriage.

“Well, I’ve been married three times,” Berry said. “Van has been married once, and so no, we don’t feel like we have to get married to validate our love in any way. We don’t.”

But if Hunt can walk away with anything, she didn’t shut the door entirely on tying the knot with him, while adding that she is in no rush to say ‘I do’ again.

She also joked that her relationship with Hunt is “the longest” she has ever been in.

“When you find your person, you find your person — and I now have found my person,” awwwww.

This moment is not the only time the couple has been in the news.

Andre 3000 knows how to make an entrance. The fashion-forward rapper hit the 2025 Met Gala carpet literally wearing a piano on his back—and he wasn’t the only Hip-Hop favorite flexing on the red carpet, which was actually blue.

As HHW has previously noted, the 2025 Met Gala’s theme was “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” was directly inspired by Monica L. Miller’s, Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity. Black Dandyism has a rich history and amounts to Black people going all out in expressing their creativity, and giving white supremacy the finger, and asserting their humanity by donning some epically fresh clothing.

The evening’s celebrity co-chairs were Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky and Pharrell Williams and they all understood the assignment, delivering some stunning looks. But 3 Stacks may have stolen all their shine thanks to his choice in attire. Coincidentally, shortly after the OutKast rapper hit the carpet in a Burberry-designed outfit, his label Epic Records released his new album called 7 piano sketches—thus the big ass (relatively) piano on hos back. Don’t expect any new fire rap verses though, since as the title implies, it’s strictly Andre 3000 on the keys.

Nevertheless, 3 Stacks still have some heavy competition as Future, Doechie and Pusha T are just some of the Hip-Hop heavyweights who understood the night’s assignment brought the sartorial fire to the event.
