That Grammy moment where Peso and Nicki gushed about each other was just 10 days ago. One week later Peso Pluma was spotted in Vegas for the Super Bowl holding hands with another woman. Well Nicki Nicole saw that viral video too and took to IG to call her man out she said, “When you are not cared for and there’s no respect I don’t stay there. I leave it is with great sorrow that I found out the same way you all did.” Just days before the video surfaced Peso and Nicki were court side at the Lakers and kissing on the Grammys red carpet. Ziggy Marley talks in depth about his involvement in the new bio-pic about his father, Bob Marley, ‘One Love,’ how he chose director Renaldo Marcus Green, stars Kingsley Ben-Adir and Lashana Lynch to play his father and mother Bob Marley and Rita Marley, filming the movie in Jamaica and giving back to the community, what he feels his father’s legacy is, his own music career, and more!

Ziggy Marley
You could be in the middle of it, if it ain’t right, we can’t mess with it, we can’t mess with it. We can’t mess with Bob, and we can’t mess with Jamaica. I’m Ziggy Marley, and this is Billboard News.

Tetris Kelly
Hey it’s Tetris with Billboard News and today I have the honor of hanging with Ziggy Marley talking about ‘One Love.’ How are you?

Ziggy Marley
Good man.

Tetris Kelly
Why was now the time to tell your father’s story?

Ziggy Marley
Yeah, it’s more than my father’s story really, like, carry a message with it. So is it, it talks about his life. But I think now is the time for this message of one love to be put into the global view for them, see them in billboards and watch it in a movie, this idea of one love, I think it’s a very important time and we’re in a very significant time in the world, we’re on the edge of something. So you know, the idea of one love is it’s pretty cool to have that out there. Right.

Tetris Kelly
And that is the overarching view of the film, obviously, it’s this one love and your dad’s story. How close were you to that story in the storytelling process?

Ziggy Marley
You know, we were there from the beginning, we were the one who initiated the idea to do the film on behalf of my family. And so it was the first time that we actually took the prerogative to go out and seek partners to do the film with telling the story how, we wanted to tell it, making sure it’s authentic. So we were very, very involved in it from the get go to the end. And the mean, even I mean, things were being changed in the last second scripts, like it was a, it was a community project. And it was just from the first time I’m doing a film project. But from the what we talked about with the guys who have the experience, they were like, this is like we’ve never done this in film before, like up to the last second we changing lines. And it was good. It was a good adventure.

Tainy Talks His First Grammy Nomination for ‘Data,’ His Sold-Out Show at ‘Choliseo’ & More | Billboard News

Acclaimed Latin producer Tainy talks about receiving his first Grammy nomination for his debut album ‘Data,’ what it’s like to produce for Latin superstars, getting the chance to work with Selena Gomez on her first Spanish-language album ‘Revelación,’ bringing his music to life in a live show at the Coliseum of Puerto Rico and more!

Tainy:
Because of how I grew up and feeling that none of these things that I’ve been able to do were possibilities when I started, you just got to be able to put as much, you know, passion into it. Things will happen.

What’s up, guys? This is Tainy and you’re watching Billboard News.

Tetris Kelly:
Hey, what’s up? It’s Tetris with Billboard News, hanging out with the one the only Tainy. What’s up, my man?

Tainy:
How’s it going, man? All good here.

Tetris Kelly:
Thanks for making your way over from Miami to LA to hang out with us. You’ve had an interesting few months right now.

Tainy:
I’m happy to be here. But yeah, how do you say? It’s been really fun, exciting, different couple of months leading up to it so you know, happy over here.

Tetris Kelly:
Well, the Grammys were a big deal for you this year, your first-ever American Grammy nomination so that’s significant. Tell me how that felt.

Tainy:
I mean, it’s special. I’ve been working for awhile, you know, in music, you always see the Grammys like that’s like the stamp and to be considered, to be alongside so many amazing artists and me putting out my first album, per se, and have it be recognized over here, in certain ways you expect that what you do will be impactful and people will notice it, but it’s not like a done deal. You got to put it out and just see how the world and the universe reacts to it and just to see that nomination over there and for it to be also my first time to be just nominated, have my name around there is just amazing.

Tetris Kelly:
I think that’s what is so special about it because you’re so known as such a prolific producer, but then your very first album as an artist gets a Grammy like, that doesn’t happen to everybody, man.

Beyoncé surprises us yet again at the Super Bowl as we take you to some of the game’s biggest parties. We celebrate Black History Month with one of Beyoncé’s closest confidants, hang out with 6lack, and give you this week’s Billboard Hot 100.

Tetris Kelly
It’s Monday, February 12th, aka the day after the Super Bowl. I’m Tetris Kelly and this is Billboard News. It’s Beyoncé and Taylor’s world, we just live in it — evidence presented to the court last night.

Tetris Kelly
Beyoncé will always break the internet and she did just that during the Super Bowl with a commercial and, yes, brand-new music.

Tetris Kelly
Beyoncé says “Yee-haw!” and I say where’s my cowboy hat? The queen of, well, everything partnered with Verizon for a commercial about breaking the internet. It was hilarious.

Tetris Kelly
And she delivered by announcing ‘Renaissance’ Act II is coming March 29th. And we already have two singles from the new country album. She gave us “Texas Hold’em” and “16 Carriages.”

Tetris Kelly
My thing is, Black people created dance music – Act I. Black people created country music – Act II. Is Act III gonna be rock? Well, I could speculate all day, but for now, I will say thank you, Queen, for taking ownership and doing it flawlessly.

Black History Month Spotlight: Yvette Noel-Schure, Beyoncé’s Powerhouse Publicist | Billboard News

For Black History Month, Billboard is celebrating by highlighting some of the greatest Black executives in music, and today we’re celebrating Yvette Noel-Schure.

Yvette Noel-schure:
I’ll probably just be telling the world.

Tetris Kelly:
For Black History Month, Billboard is celebrating by highlighting some of the greatest Black executives in music, and today we’re celebrating Yvette Noel-Schure.

Beyoncé is Black culture. But as we learned in the ‘Renaissance’ Tour film, it takes a village and perched at the top of that village is Yvette Noel-Schure. A powerhouse publicist, Yvette has spent over three decades representing the biggest stars through her top tier skills of strategy and execution. In 2010, she was a Senior Vice President at Sony but was ready to launch her own independent PR firm. She started Schure Media Group with her husband David Schure. She worked with chart-toppers like Mariah Carey before being introduced to Destiny’s Child.

Yvette Noel-Schure:
And when I started working with Beyoncé and all of the ladies of Destiny’s Child, they were 14-year-old girls.

Tetris Kelly:
A busy woman, the Texas native is also the primary publicist for the production company Parkwood Entertainment, the catalyst for projects like ‘Black Is King.’ Kelly Rowland has called what she does “brilliant,” with Tina Knowles-Lawson saying “she’s one of the most trusted people in my family’s life.”

But to know Yvette is to know she runs the world while being one of the most humble to do it. She’s a boss. She’s a mom. She’s a wife, or as the Queen says she’s a “diva.”
