Two of Atlanta’s biggest names have put their issues behind them. Gucci Mane and T.I. have settled their beef live on stage.
Complex is reporting that the two trappers turned rappers are now on better terms. On Tuesday, October 17 Guwop hosted a show in Atlanta to celebrate the release of his newest album Breath of Fresh Air. During the concert attendees were treated to surprise appearances from the likes of Latto, Quavo of The Migos, Key Glock and more. The most memorable moment was when Gucci Mane brought out T.I. and the two shook hands. The Grand Hustle CEO proceeded to perform his hit “24s” to the delight of the crowd while the self-proclaimed Trap God stepped back.

The two have not been on the best of terms since 2012 when Gucci Mane took exception to T.I.’s friendship with his then bitter rival Jeezy. He took some shots aimed at the Snowman on “The Truth” and later tweeted “No Disrespect to Clay but if Tip wanna get into it he can.” Years later they would disagree about who invented the Trap music genre. “Ok,so…. AGAIN for the slow ones in the back… August 19th,2003 Birth of Trap Muzik & Only fools dispute facts!!!” T.I. wrote at the time. “OH wit that Christopher Columbus ass… ‘Look what I discovered, even though they was already here ass sh*t!!!!’ WITCHO GOOD CAPPIN ASS.”
You can see Gucci Mane and T.I. patch things up below.

Joe Budden is no longer pursuing his rapping career but his formidable past as a lyricist still follows him as he continues to rise in the podcasting ranks. Via his eponymously named podcast, Joe Budden drew the ire of JR Writer, who returned sharp barbs in the direction of the retired artist turned broadcaster.
On episode 666 of The Joe Budden Podcast during the show’s ending segment “Sleepers” where the cast plays songs people may have missed or need to know about, QueenzFlip chose JR Writer’s track “Presidential” featuring fellow Dipset alum Hell Rell & 40 Cal. Budden, who didn’t enjoy the song, asked QueenFlip to cut off the track along with some choice words.
Writer caught wind of Budden’s jab and posted then deleted an Instagram Stories entry stating, “Joe Budden has never been a better Rapper than me in his life. His music run wasn’t better. His group run wasn’t better. His freestyle wasn’t better. And I rap better than he has ever rapped RIGHT NOW! Stop speaking on me.”
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, Writer continued to fire shots at Budden’s rapping ability in a now-deleted post. Budden answered with, “Now JR……. You don’t even believe what you’re typing to me lol.”
JR Writer is more active on the music front than Joe Budden and continues to use social media to push new music with promises of new tunes — no word yet if anything will be aimed at his latest nemesis.

Drake is currently taking in all the kudos and critiques of his latest studio album, For All The Dogs, which dropped on Friday (October 7) after a spat of delays. Joe Budden, a noted fan of The Boy, had some harsh words for the latest drop, prompting Drizzy to unload the clip on Jumpoff via Instagram in epic fashion.
The rift between the pair began when DJ Akademiks shared a clip from The Joe Budden Podcast where the hosts were discussing For All The Dogs and who the target audience is. It appears that Budden and his co-hosts believe that Drake was attempting to cater to a younger generation instead of those in his late-30s age group. Always aware of where his name is mentioned, the Canadian superstar unloaded the clip as only he could.
From Akademiks’ IG:
You have failed at music. You left it behind to do what you are doing in this clip cause this is what actually pays your bills. For any artist watching this just remember you are watching a failure give their opinion on his idea of a recipe for success…a quitter give their opinion on how to achieve longevity…you switched careers cause the things that pop into your brain had you broke living cheque to cheque and the raps you write had 450 men showing up to your shows in dusty Enyce jeans to screw up their face to Mood Muzik 29 and pretend you are the goat…pls to any artist that’s doing what they feel is right don’t let these opinions affect your mindset after the fact…this guy is the poster child of frustration and surrendering. You retired and we never hung up your jersey we don’t even remember your number. We know you for doing this…you withdrew from rap not cause you accomplished all you need to it’s cause it wasn’t working for you. I never want anybody in the generations to think that the whole “everybody’s entitled to their opinion” is a real thing…this is a man projecting his own self hate and the fact I did and continue to do everything he wanted to do for himself. If you need it put in simpler terms I own a 767…he owns a modest house in the 973 and flies first class on special occasions.
Budden replied under the missive, writing, “You’ll grow up sooner or later…Father time is undefeated.”
Budden and Drake have a history of going back and forth with one another although, at a time, it was relegated to the music. An example is in the X reply below.
With Budden known as one of the top podcasters in the entertainment space, the New Jersey network chief has aired his grievances with Drake and his moves via his wildly popular program. In fact, he’s been very critical of Drizzy’s recent output while also praising him as one of his faves.
On X, formerly Twitter, fans are having a field day with this exchange and we’ve got the reactions from all sides below. A warning: there are some emotional responses down there. We hope they’re okay.

Tyrese found himself on the business end of sharp jabs from DJ Envy during a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club radio show. Now, Tyrese is firing back at the host, stating that he never disrespected Envy’s wife, although the plot just got a bit thicker after the singer’s latest shot.
By way of a lengthy Instagram video post, Tyrese opens up the chat to say that DJ Envy’s claims of him disrespecting his wife wouldn’t add up because he’s been around beautiful women all his life and has never crossed that line before.
For the backstory, Tyrese was a guest on The Breakfast Club last week when the singer was confronted by DJ Envy over being overly friendly with his wife. Envy also went on to say that Black Ty has a history of doing this with the spouses of those close to him according to a former assistant who claimed it happened to him as well.
Tyrese also went on to say that he was supportive of Envy and his wife Gia Casey during the couple’s public issues but that the same grace wasn’t extended to him and his relationship woes. However, one curious moment is Tyrese admitting that he sent Envy’s wife a photo of his new Rolls Royce vehicle.
Envy and Casey fired back at Tyrese’s claims of the host being a liar in the clip below. According to the videos below, Ty even made demands on her time, something you definitely can’t and shouldn’t do with someone’s romantic partner on any level.

Joe Budden and Gillie Da Kid have made their marks as rappers early on and are now dominating the podcast space via their respective spaces. There was a brewing beef between the two outspoken men that is now in the rearview after a new clip of the two surfaced.
Via the Million Dollaz Worth Of Game YouTube page, a video teaser of an upcoming episode featuring Joe Budden was shared with Budden, Gillie, and Wallo chopping it up outside of a home ahead of recording the episode. Whatever bad blood existed between the pair was clearly done with as evidenced by the embrace they shared and Wallo playfully joking on them both for having retired from rapping.

Pusha T is in possession of an exact way of writing when it comes to his music, dating back to his days alongside his brother No Malice in the Clipse. A new track featuring the Thorton brothers surfaced earlier this week and it appears that Pusha T threw shots toward Jim Jones, sparking Twitter to debate the possibilities.
The unreleased track features strong verses from both Pusha T and No Malice over a busy track that played while the brothers walked in Pharrell Williams’ first Louis Vuitton show in Paris this past Tuesday (June 20). Jay-Z and Beyoncé were in attendance and both superstars were seen in the clip of the show enjoying the track.
Several snippets of the song made its way online and King Push’s signature snarl was in full effect on the track. However, many fans are examining the lyrics and believe Capo Jones is the target.
From the track:
Beware of my name, that there’s delegate/ You know I know where you’re delicate/ Crush you to pieces, I’ll hum a breath of it/ I will close your heaven for the hell of it/ You think it’d be valor amongst veterans/ I’m watching your fame escape relevance/ We all in a room but here’s the elephant/ You chasing a feature out of your element
This all may stem from Jones appearing on the Rap Caviar Podcast earlier this year and stating his opinion that Pusha T is not a top 50 rapper while also questioning his former drug dealing days. In the same breath, Jones did prop up King Push as a great lyricist and rapper but doesn’t believe the Virginia star has a great influence on the culture.
Jones is also aware of the track as it made its rounds and posted a video laughing at all the chatter while adding on his Instagram Story feed, “Let me know when they really ready.”
There is speculation that the new song from the Clipse will drop this coming Friday. For now, the reactions on Twitter to the track are all over the map. Check out the track in question below.

Ari Fletcher caught the ire of some fans on Twitter after she allegedly posted the number of Taina Williams. This comes after G Herbo called off his engagement to Williams and fans online have questions about where the Chicago rapper is in all of this back and forth.
From what we can gather online, Ari Fletcher apparently posted then deleted a number said to be connected to Williams’ but it initially wasn’t confirmed. However, Fletcher, the mother of Herbo’s young son, explained that she did so because Fletcher wouldn’t answer the phone while her son visited with his father, thus sparking her to put the number on blast.
“My child was left in her care and she took my son outside somewhere and I called to talk to my son she had my number blocked and told herb mama I can’t have her number and to take it up with herb. If I can’t have a contact on who has my son because you don’t like me then you shouldn’t have my son. So now everybody got your number. Cause find somebody else to play with,” Fletcher wrote.
Continuing her Twitter replies to the criticism, Fletcher added, “His dad left town and I didn’t even know so my baby was left with her which isn’t a problem but at least let me have a contact so I can check on my baby. That’s crazy.”
Williams and Herbo have yet to respond but that does beg the question about the status of their relationship. It was reported over a week ago that Herbo and Williams ended their engagement and declared himself single.
The pair are parents to two children.
On Twitter, the discussion over Ari Fletcher airing out Taina Williams’ number is going strong. Read the reactions below.

Anita Baker excited her legion of fans after announcing her current The Songstress tour alongside Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds in support of the 40th anniversary of her debut solo album but there appears to be trouble afoot. The legendary vocalist announced on Tuesday (June 12) that she will be continuing the tour alone without support from Babyface due to what she says is “cyber bullying” from fans.
Anita Baker took to Twitter to write, “After Silently, Enduring Cyber Bulling/Verbal Abuse & Threats of Violence from the Fan Base, of Our Special Guest/Support Act. In the Interest of Personal Safety. I will continue, The Songstress Tour, alone. Appropriate refunds will be made. Blessings.”
Babyface added his own statement via Twitter, stating that the news that he was dropped from the tour “saddened” him.
“I am saddened by the news that has decided to remove me from “The Songstress Tour,” began the statement.
It continued with, “It’s unfortunate and disheartening to see how things have played out via social media. While I was looking forward to the rest of the dates, I have nothing but love and respect for Anita and I wish her the best for the remainder of her tour.”
As reported by Deadline, the issue dates back to May 10 when Babyface tweeted that he was not going to appear on one of the dates.
“I am truly sorry to my fans who have been waiting for us to hit the stage this evening at @PruCenter,” Babyface tweeted. “I was asked not to perform in order to give Ms. Baker her space and time to perform her show in its entirety. My band and I are extremely saddened we didn’t get to perform for y’all tonight.”
The tweet sparked a vicious barrage of attacks from Twitter and Baker asked the fans to cease the bullying but it had reached a fever point apparently.
Anita Baker will conclude the tour this December in Oakland, Calif.
