The cross-country tour is preceded by a new album (Sr. Santos), which he dropped late last year, and seven back-to-back nights at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in February, and a hard-hitting collaboration with Bizarrap (“BZRP Music Sessions #54”) that he unleashed in March and has nearly 50 million views on YouTube (so far).
Sr. Santos scored the Puerto Rican hitmaker his sixth top 10 on Billboard’s Top Latin Albums chart when it debuted at No. 3 in December. The set, which includes collaborations with Bad Bunny, Young Miko and Myke Towers, among others, is a tribute to his late brother Justin Santos who died at 21-years-old in 2021.
“Life surprised us with the death of [my brother] so we canceled everything,” Arcángel previously told Billboard En Español. “I built up courage and said, ‘since he loved these songs so much, let’s finish it and make and album that will be dedicated to him.’”
In 2021, Arcángel released Los Favoritos 2.5 — a follow up to Los Favoritos 2 from 2020 — which peaked at No. 15 on the Top Latin Albums chart and No. 11 on the Latin Rhythm Albums.
Tickets for his Just In Time Tour will go on sale April 13 at 10 a.m.

Branded, the parent and organizer of Asia’s annual All That Matters conference and showcase event, is now part of the Nodwin Gaming family.
Announced Tuesday (April 11), the Singapore subsidiary of Nodwin has acquired a 51% stake in Branded, the full-service live media specialist.
Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
As part of the arrangement, Nodwin, part of Nazara Technologies, will acquire all Branded’s existing event IPs, including All That Matters. Also, Nodwin, one of the world’s leading gaming and esports companies, will “expand its network of international sponsors to grow revenues from its live business as it continues its pursuit to grow as a sports media company” with a focus on esports and gaming, reads a statement unveiling the acquisition.
Branded co-founder and CEO Jasper Donat says both parties will tap into business synergies across APAC and beyond, with a view to expanding on its existing events and IP, and co-creating new properties.
“Over the past few years, Branded has transformed from a live event IP creator and producer to a live media company,” he comments. “We are really excited to become a part of the Nodwin Gaming family and share their vision and commitment to the business of growing media and entertainment and the communities around them.”
Based in Singapore, Branded produces All That Matters, which includes the Music Matters stream and complementary tracks on live entertainment, sponsorship, sports and more. ATM is widely considered the most important music conference in the region, with more than 2,000 guests turning up in a regular year, organizers say. The 2022 program featured guest speakers Universal Music Group Lucian Grainge; Spotify’s global head of editorial Sulinna Ong; and TikTok’s global head of music Ole Obermann; and Adam Wilkes, president, AEG Presents Asia Pacific, among others.
“We share very similar synergies be it our common love for gaming, sports, music, esports or entertainment, so this was a near-perfect match,” says Nodwin co-founder and CEO Akshat Rathee, noting Branded’s IP “will add a new dimension to what we already offer.”
On the flip side, Rathee explains, we “will also look at the talented Branded team taking our existing IPs such as Playground, The Premiership, NH7 and others international.”
This year’s ATM celebrates its “coming of age” 18th edition, with a three-day-long industry powwow at Hilton Orchard, which, again, revs up for the Singapore F1 Grand Prix week.
Iam Tongi is already a fan-favorite on this 21st season of ABC’s American Idol. After delivering another grade-A performance, as he did with a haunting cover of Simon & Garfunkel’s “The Sound Of Silence” on Monday night (April 10), the youngster is firming as a potential champion.

The high schooler has overcome the loss of his dad, and some major technical issues, to glide into Idol’s Hollywood Week.
Tongi’s vocals are both robust and sweet, with layers and angles few of us are gifted with. And when he’s at the mic, the spirit of Tongi’s father is never far.
Music and song was a force that connected the pair. “When Iam’s dad passed away,” the contestant’s mom says in a package, “he didn’t wanna sing anymore. He kept saying that every time he sings, he could hear his dad backing up. After talking to him… it’s a beautiful thing that he could hear his dad.”
On Monday’s episode, the teenage hopeful gave us another earful of his talents, this time with a reinterpretation of the Graduate classic.
The performance had Katy Perry reaching for the tissues. Later, during a sit down with all three judges, Perry told Tongi his “showstopping song” was a “brilliant pick. It made the room go silent. It gave more depth, more color, more layers to who you are.”
Flanked by Matt Wilson and Colin Stough, Tongi was reminded there’s only one more spot in the top 24. And he got it.
Plot twist. Perry had the honors of telling Matt Wilson and Colin Stough that Idol’s producers have blown up the 24-finalist format, and switched it to a contest for 26. And they’re both in.
The top 26 head through to Tongi’s homeland, for sessions with celebrity mentors and a concert at Hawaii’s Aulani Resort.

BlackPink’s Jisoo scores a slice of U.K. chart history, as her single “Flower” (via Interscope) enters the top 40 on debut.
With the ME cut arriving at No. 38 on the latest Official U.K. Singles Chart, published April 7, Jisoo becomes the first first member of the K-pop girl group to bag a top tier solo hit.
Jisoo’s bandmates Rosé, Lisa and Jennie have tried. Rosé came closest, with her 2021 debut single “On the Ground” peaking at No. 42.

Thus far, BlackPink has landed eight U.K. top 40 singles: 2018 Dua Lipa collaboration “Kiss and Make Up” (No. 36 peak), 2019’s “Kill This Love” (No. 33), 2020’s “How You Like That” (No. 20), 2020 Selena Gomez collab “Ice Cream” (No. 39), 2020’s Lovesick Girls (No. 40), 2020’s Lady Gaga collab “Sour Candy” (No. 17), and 2022 singles “Pink Venom” (No. 22) and “Shut Down” (No. 24).
BlackPink already made U.K. chart history when, in 2022, they became the first female K-pop group crowned on the all-genres albums chart with Born Pink, which roared to No. 1. The foursome’s debut The Album had peaked at No. 2 in 2020.
“Flower” is blooming on charts around the world. It’s currently at No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts (dated April 15), becoming the third member of BlackPink to have hit the top 10 on each chart after Rosé and Lisa. “Flower” makes the third-biggest streaming start for an artist’s proper debut focus track since the global charts originated.
Meanwhile, in Australia, “Flower” plants itself at No. 33 on the ARIA Chart. She’s the third member of the group to crack the ARIA Top 50, following recordings by Rosé and Lisa.
After the drama, Nutsa Buzaladze brought some action to the American Idol stage as Hollywood Week rumbled on.
The 26-year-old native of Georgia, in Eastern Europe, turned it around with her performance on Idol, which aired Sunday night (April 9), after an incident during the previous duets round in which she was accused of sleeping on the job.
“We had a couple of issues last night,” Buzaladze’s duet partner Carina DeAngelo told the judges last time. “Some people wanted to sleep instead of working.” No prizes for guessing who those “people” are.

“It was really hurtful for me,” says Buzaladze in a package at the top of her latest performance. “I never do bad to people, I am not this person,” she told the cameras.
Katy Perry had a stinging comment after the duet, “Don’t forget about grace, more grace.”
Whatever, Buzaladze sailed through in the contest. DeAngelo did not. “Duet round was the hardest emotional experience I’ve had in my life, ever,” she says in a behind-the-scenes clip.
Later, Buzaladze apologized to the judges, and specifically Perry, and gave her “side of the story.” She didn’t speak out for fear of “bringing negative energy” and maybe crying on stage, she told the “Teenage Dream” singer.
With the drama to one side, Buzaladze got on with the action. Wearing a lime skin-tight one-piece outfit, Buzaladze went full-diva as she slammed a performance of Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary.”
“All the tears I had in the last round,” she enthused afterwards, “now I’m happy.”
The judges were too, as Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan all got to their feet. In a sit-down, Perry delivered the lines. “We have really appreciated you in this competition. Thank you for everything that you’ve brought. And we did not put you in the top 24. You put yourself in that top 24…with your spectacular talent.”
After an agonizingly long moment of confusion, some clarity. Nutsa is through to the top 24. Watch below.
Boygenius is the U.K.’s chart champion, as The Record (via Interscope) blasts to No. 1.
The U.S. indie rock “supergroup,” comprising Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus, debuts at the summit of the Official U.K. Albums Chart, published April 7, leading an all-new top 3.
The Record, the best-seller on vinyl during the chart cycle, is Dacus and Baker’s first appearances in the top 40 entries, and it eclipse Bridgers’ solo best chart performance, a No. 6 peak for her sophomore solo LP Punisher from 2020.

Coming at No. 2 on the latest all-genres albums survey is Melanie Martinez‘s Portals (Atlantic). That’s a career-best for the U.S. alternative-pop artist, following her 2015 debut Cry Baby (No. 32 peak) and 2019’s K-12 (No. 8).
Australian indie-rock trio DMA’S has been dreaming of a high chart bow with How Many Dreams? (via I Oh You/Mushroom), which had tracked for a No. 3 berth on the midweek chart. Dreams completes the chart race in third position, a career-best for the Sydney band — Tommy O’Dell, Matt Mason and Johnny Took — following the No. 4 peak for its predecessor, 2020’s The Glow.
Following the long-overdue release of De La Soul’s catalog on DSPs, the hip-hop pioneers’ 1989 debut 3 Feet High and Rising (Chrysalis) hits a new peak, some 34 years after its original release. 3 Feet High and Rising rises to No. 9, its first appearance in the top 10, thanks to a reissue campaign on vinyl, CD and cassette. Last month, as it hit streaming platforms, the set vaulted to a then-best of No. 12.
Closing out the top 10 is Davido, with his fourth studio set Timeless (Ceremony of Roses). It’s the Nigerian singer-songwriter’s first top 10 appearance on the U.K. chart.
Finally, Odd Future rapper, singer and songwriter Tyler, the Creator returns to the top 20 with his 2021 effort Call Me If You Get Lost (Columbia), which benefits from the deluxe reissue treatment. Call Me rings in at No. 18.
A dance music miracle has seized the U.K. singles chart.
Four weeks into its chart journey, Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s throwback rave tune “Miracle (via Colombia) climbs 3-1, for its first stint at the summit.
With its unlikely climb, Harris now boasts an 11th U.K. No. 1 and Goulding a fourth. Also, it’s their first as a duo, and third top 10 after 2012’s “Need Your Love” (No. 4 peak) and 2014’s “Outside” (No. 6). “Miracle” led at the midweek stage and completes the chart race in top spot.

The last time Harris checked in at the chart penthouse was 2018 with “Promises,” featuring Sam Smith, while Goulding last scaled the chart in December 2019 with the English singer’s cover of Joni Mitchell’s “River.”
According to the Official Charts Company, Harris, the Scottish EDM DJ and producer, now moves into eighth place in the all-time list of artists with No. 1s, pulling away from Eminem and Elton John (with 10 each).
Goulding, meanwhile, draws level with Spice Girl Geri Halliwell and Rita Ora among British female solo artist leaders. Just two artists are above her on the list, the OCC reports: Jess Glynne (seven No. 1s) and former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl (five).
The Official U.K. Singles Chart podium is completed by two former leaders, Miley Cyrus’s “Flowers” (Columbia), unchanged at No. 2; and Ed Sheeran’s “Eyes Closed” (Atlantic), down 3-1.
Further down the list, rising pop star Mimi Webb’s “Red Flags” (Epic) lifts 13-12, its equal peak position. “Red Flags” is the top trending song in the U.K. right now, the OCC reports.
The highest new entry on the latest chart, published April 7, belongs to BlackPink singer Jisoo, with her debut solo single “Flower” (Interscope). It’s new at No. 38. With that debut, Jisoo becomes the first member of the K-pop girl group — which also includes Rosé, Lisa and Jennie — to bag a solo U.K. top 40 hit.
Finally, former Odd Future rapper Tyler, The Creator bags his fourth top 40 appearance, as “Dogtooth” (Columbia) sneaks inside the top tier. It’s new at No. 39, making its appearance following the “Estate Sale” deluxe reissue of Call Me If You Get Lost.
Melanie Martinez snags her first chart leader in Australia as Portals (via Atlantic/Warner) debuts at No. 1.
The 27-year-old U.S. singer and songwriter, who made the leap into the public arena during the 2012 season of The Voice, leads the latest ARIA Chart, published April 7, for her second top 10 appearance and third top 40.
Martinez’s previous album, 2019’s K-12, peaked at No. 6; and her debut set, 2015’s Cry Baby, hit No. 27.

Close behind at No. 2 is Australian indie-act DMA’S How Many Dreams? (I Oh You/Universal). It’s the Australian indie-rock outfit’s fourth studio album and fourth top 10 appearance, following 2020’s The Glow, which also peaked at No. 2; 2018’s For Now (No. 7) and 2016’s Hills End (No. 8).
Completing an all-new top three on the ARIA Albums Chart is The Record (Interscope/Universal), the debut LP from Boygenius, the indie “supergroup” featuring Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus. The No. 3 bow for The Record is an improvement on Bridgers’ No. 12 best with 2020’s Punisher, and Baker’s No. 21 peak for 2021’s Little Oblivions.
Meanwhile, Melbourne punk rock band Private Function just miss out on a top 10 berth with their fourth album, 370HSSV 0773H (Still On Top Records/RKT). It’s new at No. 11, for their second ARIA Chart appearance after 2020’s Whose Line Is It Anyway? reached No. 9.
The group has made headlines in these parts thanks to the unusual marketing campaign for 370HSSV 0773H. The first 3,000 copies of the physical record features a limited-edition scratchable album cover, and a limited-edition “Gold” release is apparently infused with the band members’ urine. The “Gold” variant was priced at A$200 and sold-out in under a minute, according to reps for the band.
370HSSV 0773H — a title which has a different meaning when read upside down — makes a splash on the ARIA Vinyl Chart at No. 2.
Over on the ARIA Singles Chart, Miley Cyrus’ ”Flowers” (Columbia/Sony) extends its reign into a 12th week. With that feat, “Flowers” joins an “elite group,” ARIA reports, tying it with Pharrell Williams’ ”Happy” (from 2014), Eminem’s ”Lose Yourself” (2002-03) and Dinah Shore’s ”Buttons and Bows” (1949).
Only eight songs have spent more time at the helm, with Tones and I’s ”Dance Monkey” the king at 24 weeks at No. 1 in 2019-20.
Finally, BlackPink’s Jisoo bows at No.33 with her solo single ”Flower” (Interscope/Universal). She becomes the third member of the superstar K-pop girl group to crack the ARIA Top 50. Melbourne, Australia-raised Rosé saw her 2021 single “On The Ground” reached No. 31 and Lisa’s 2021 release “Money” cashed in at No. 32.
Marshmello captures his first No. 1 on Billboard’s Tropical Airplay chart with “El Merengue,” his collaboration with Manuel Turizo. The new champ climbs 2-1 on the chart dated April 8 and sends “La Bachata,” another one of Turizo’s songs to No. 2 after 14 weeks in charge.
Turizo becomes the first artist to replace himself at No. 1 since Marc Anthony achieved the feat as “Un Amor Eterno” dethroned “De Vuelta Pa La Vuelta,” with Daddy Yankee, in March 2021.
EDM DJ and producer Marshmello secured his first entry on any Latin chart when “El Merengue” debuted at No. 4 on the March 18-dated ranking. Now, he scores his first leader as the song rises with a 6% gain in audience impressions, to 7.5 million, earned in the U.S. in the week ending March 30, according to Luminate.
“El Merengue” is the second song from Turizo’s third studio album, 2000, to top Tropical Airplay. The album debuted and peaked at No. 11 on Top Latin Albums (chart dated April 1) and earned him his third top 10 on Latin Rhythm Albums.
As mentioned, “La Bachata” rose to No. 1 in its 10th week where it remained for 14 nonconsecutive weeks.
The Colombian picks up his third straight No. 1 among three career appearances. His first offering arrived through his featured turn on Piso 21’s “Déjala Que Vuelva” which topped the chart for two weeks in 2018.
Elsewhere, “El Merengue” jumps 25-24 on the multi-metric Hot Latin Songs chart with a 5% gain in streams. The track logged 3 million official U.S. streams.

The video is simple as YoungBoy and Nicki trade punchy verses alongside ballet dancers. YoungBoy — who remains on house arrest — raps inside his plush Utah home overlooking the city backdrop. At the same time, Minaj torches her feature with a plethora of punchlines, most notably, “Cross YoungBoy then you cross The Queen / all them Internet games turn boys to memes.”
In an interview with Billboard earlier this year, YoungBoy called his house arrest situation “the best thing that ever happened to me.”
“I’m very scared right now,” he said. “It’s just natural. I’m not big on people. I never knew why once I walked on the stage, I could get it done and leave — but I am terrified of people. People are cruel. This is a cruel place.” YoungBoy also revealed his plans to become Mormon and eventually get baptized into The Church of Latter-Day Saints once house arrest concludes.
“I wanted help very badly. I needed a friend. And it hit me,” he relayed. “It was just cool to see someone with a different mindset that had nothing to do with business or money — just these wonderful souls.”
YoungBoy is currently gearing up to release his forthcoming album, Don’t Try This At Home.
