Catrise JI’m very excited, what is there to come? What’s the title of the EP?

YK OsirisSo I got a couple of features on there. The name still trying to title it’s, yeah, I’m trying to really piece it together but I know for sure it’s coming soon.

Catrise JThat’s so exciting. So I want to talk about the evolution of your sound and your music. What is this new you?

YK OsirisIt’s elevated, like this I feel new, I feel great like, I just I feel like this I’m back in the music space in the studio every day making crazy music. I just put out “Time Go By.” I’m just loving this space that I’m in right now loving myself, loving my art, surrounding myself with the right people, so I’m loving it.

Leila Cobo: Morat, welcome to Billboard.

Morat: Thank you.

Leila Cobo: You’re finishing the stadium tour in the United States, first stadium tour.

Morat: A lot.

Leila Cobo: Yes it is a lot. And you’re a pop-rock group in the United States, singing in Spanish. I think the only other group who did that is Maná.

Morat: Wow! That’s huge.

Leila Cobo: Have you ever imagined that in an urban world, you were going to be doing this?

Morat: It was a dream. We’ve dreamed of it. But we didn’t imagine it like that. This is our fourth tour in the United States.

Juan Pablo Isaza: In the first one, we didn’t expect anything in particular. The mindset has always been as long as it’s in the United States, we’ll go. Anywhere.

Leila Cobo: To a friend’s apartment.

Juan Pablo Isaza: And it has been growing. Fortunately, this year surprised us.

Leila Cobo: You played in Miami at the Kaseya Center, which is like “Colombia central,” right? How did it feel to go out into that stadium and see 15,000 there? It was sold out. Confess, did you cry?

Morat: No. No, this group does not cry.

ShenseeaI’m feeling really good. You know, I’m excited. It’s my second project. So a little bit nervous. But you know, because you know, you set a tone with the first one. And you should always try to beat the first one. So it’s a little bit pressuring. But I’m still excited and just going with it nonetheless,

Tetris KellyWell, let’s talk about the title first ‘Never Gets Late Here.’ What does that referencing, it means?

Shenseea It means to me, timeless music you can put on this album, and it just never gets old. You know, it’s pretty deep. And I love timeless music. That’s the type of music that I grew up on. And that’s the type of music I think that lasts and really inspires great artists to come. And I want to be able to do that as well, because I’ve been inspired by many great artists.

Tetris KellyThat’s a great goal to set out on.
