To celebrate the upcoming Barbie movie, Bloomingdale’s and Mattel have teamed up to debut a dreamy collaboration for Barbie lovers everywhere. The collection, which launched on Tuesday (June 20), features clothing and accessories now available online and in select stores starting July 13.
The exclusive collab includes a clothing collaboration between Barbie the movie and AQUA, Bloomingdale’s private label. An assortment of licensed apparel and accessories are featured in the collection, including Impala Skates seen in the film, licensed Barbie products from Mattel, Funboy, Little Words Project and other top brands.

The 26-piece collection consists of designs available in women’s sizes (XS-XL) and girls sizes (S-XL) priced from $55-$118. Barbie fans can shop dresses, pants, pleated miniskirts, T-shirts, minidresses, tank tops, blazers and more including a sequin minidress, a striped mini dress and matching tweed sets, in a color palette of pinks and blues, inspired by the fashions worn in the film.

Besides clothing, shoppers will find Barbie-inspired accessories such as heart-shaped crystal cross-body bags, shimmering evening bags, and bold earrings with pearls, fringe and crystals.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with Mattel and Warner Bros. on what’s anticipated to be the most iconic pop-culture moment of the year,” Frank Berman, EVP, chief marketing officer at Bloomingdale’s, said in a statement. “As Barbie the movie continues to take center-stage, we’ll be rolling out some of the most exciting activations, nationwide events, and product collaborations to-date, starting with our exclusive AQUA collection. Our customers will be able to channel and experience Barbie through fashion and fun.”
Warner. Bros’ heavily anticipated Barbie movie arrives in theaters on July 21. Directed by Greta Gerwig, the fantasy comedy stars Margo Robbie, Ryan Gosling and a slew of other Barbies and Kens. Dua Lipa’s “Dance the Night” was the first lead single released from the project’s highly anticipated soundtrack.

The Bloomingdale’s x Barbie the Movie collaboration will feature window displays, events and fun activations like a Barbie Dream-House pop-up at select stores from July 13-Aug. 24; and transforming the store’s iconic windows into a Barbie-inspired creation with scenes inspired the movie. Bloomingdale’s stores at 59th Street in New York City and in Century City, Calif., will also host “Best Day Ever” activations and in-store events on July 22.

To celebrate the release of Disney’s live-action film ‘The Little Mermaid’ the Billboard staff put together a list of the top 100 Disney songs. Here are the top five. A Disney classic first released in 1940, the first song on our list was made popular by a little cricket named Jiminy. It won the Oscar for Best Original Song and was Disney’s first Oscar winning track coming in at No. 5 on Billboard’s pick of top Disney songs ‘When You Wish Upon A Star’.

Sam Smith makes headlines good and bad by upsetting some fans but Madonna makes everything better. At their concert in Manchester the ‘Too Good At Goodbyes’ singer had to exit stage after only four songs. They posted in a statement: “I fought off the virus a few weeks ago. During my third song I noticed something wrong with my voice. I came offstage and have tried everything to get my voice back in gear but it won’t. I am honestly heartbroken. I couldn’t finish the show tonight for you all.” They also posted that shows in Birmingham and Glasgow will also be rescheduled and available for refund, leaving some fans fuming and gutted. Barbie has been a longtime inspiration in pop culture, ever since the first doll revolutionized the toy industry back in 1959. From music to TV and film, the doll’s blonde hair and striking fashion sense has remained a constant in entertainment.
Flash forward to 2023, and a live-action Barbie movie is hitting theaters on July 21. The Greta Gerwig-directed film is set to star Margot Robbie as the iconic Barbie and Ryan Gosling as Ken, and will feature appearances from Dua Lipa, Hari Nef, Emma Mackey, Will Ferrell, Michael Cera and more. The official synopsis notes that the film will follow the tale of the titular doll on a quest to find happiness “after being expelled from Barbie Land for being a less than perfect-looking.”

And while it’s known that Margot Robbie stars as the iconic blonde doll, and Ryan Gosling will take on the role of her handsome boyfriend Ken, eagle-eyed fans noticed that the official Instagram for the film was following 15 people involved with the movie — including Dua Lipa.
Eagle-eyed fans who noticed began to speculate what the “Levitating” singer’s involvement in the film might be, with the most popular theory being that she’s contributing a song to Barbie‘s soundtrack. However, neither Lipa or the film confirmed any collaboration, and the Instagram account quickly unfollowed the pop star amid the buzz.
Director Greta Gerwig co-wrote the script for the Warner Bros. film with Noah Baumbach. Besides Robbie and Gosling, the jam-packed cast also includes Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, Simu Liu, Ncuti Gatwa and America Ferrera.
The new, 75-second teaser pays tribute to Stanley Kubrick’s iconic 1968 outer space drama 2001: A Space Odyssey. “Since the beginning of time, since the first little girl ever existed, there have been… dolls,” says a narrator over sunrise scenes in the desert, as a group of girls play with their baby dolls in the dusty expanse. Our narrator continues, “But the dolls were always and forever baby dolls… until,” at which point we see the first glimpse of the towering Barbie posing in white sunglasses and a striped one-piece bathing suit, tilting her shades down to give the girls a wink.
