Ye Thanks Tyler, The Creator for Allegedly Liking His A$AP Rocky Instagram Post: He ‘Still Loves Me’

Ye (formerly Kanye West) is feeling the love, even after his controversial X spree earlier this month.

The Chicago rapper shared a screenshot of an X post highlighting Tyler, The Creator supposedly liking a picture of A$AP Rocky on his Instagram page, and added a caption saying that the West Coast rapper is North West’s “second favorite artist.”

“My daughter’s second favorite artist still loves me,” he wrote. “As rappers We all like one big family. And I’m that n—a that still shows out even when there’s white people around.”

Ye has found himself in hot water once again when he decided to go on an X rant praising Hitler and labeling himself a Nazi, among other things, which then led to him deleting his X account altogether, getting his merch website taken down by Shopify for selling a swastika T-shirt, and his recent collaborator Ty Dolla $ign feeling the need to put out a statement saying he’s not down with hate speech.

However, with his X account reactivated, Ye walked back his rants on Wednesday (Feb. 19), writing, “After further reflection I’ve come to the realization that I’m not a Nazi.” He also thanked Adam Sandler who performed a song during Saturday Night Live’s 50th-anniversary special and said, “50 years of finding out your favorite musician is antisemitic.” And while the comedian didn’t mention anyone by name, Ye assumed the dig was about him and thanked Sandler for the shout-out. “Adam Sandler Thank you for the love,” he tweeted.

Billboard reached out to Tyler’s camp for comment.

In a new Instagram post, Casandra “Cassie” Ventura-Fine announced that she and her husband Alex Fine are expecting their third child.

The pinned post features five black-and-white photos of Cassie, Alex, and their two daughters, and is simply captioned with a pregnancy emoji, a blue heart, and “#3.”

Cassie, 38, and Alex, 31, were married in 2019 just weeks after announcing that they were engaged and expecting a child together. Their first daughter Frankie was born in 2019 and Sunny followed in 2021. The blue heart on her recent baby announcement suggests that the couple is expecting their first son.

Friends gushed over the announcement in the comments section of the post. Singer Ciara wrote, “Yaaayy!! So beautiful!” while Kim Kardashian commented “congrats!!!” with two white hearts.

The news comes just over one year after Cassie settled a federal lawsuit against her ex-boyfriend Sean “Diddy” Combs where she accused him of rape and abuse. When she announced the lawsuit, the “Me & U” singer said she had remained silent for years but was “finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”

In her pregnancy announcement, fans referenced the lawsuit. One wrote, “I love to see women get their happily ever after–esp after going through abuse and trauma. You are deserving of this beautiful life. Thank you for being an example of strength and perseverance. Congrats!”

The lawsuit and settlement sparked a flurry of additional accusations, which landed Combs in federal custody. He is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn awaiting trial.

The four minute video shows Gaga and a slew of dancers in a massive rehearsal space, working through the Parris Goebel-directed number, mirroring exactly how it looks in the final product.

“Abracadabra” is the third of three Mayhem songs Gaga has revealed so far. Last summer, she debuted the Mars-assisted “Die With a Smile,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 this year and earned Grammy nominations for song of the year and best pop duo/group performance. Two months later, Mother Monster dropped “Disease,” a dark electro-pop banger that reached No. 27 on the Hot 100.

Mayhem, her newest studio album, is set to arrive March 7, marking Gaga’s first original full-length pop album since 2020’s Grammy-winning Chromatica. Just one day after the highly anticipated project arrives, Gaga will serve as both host and serve as musical guest on Saturday Night Live on March 8 — the second time she has done so.

Donald Trump and his lame administration are working hard to set the advancement of Black culture back years with the removal of DEI programs, but that’s not stopping these Black celebrities from joining him at the White House to celebrate Black History Month.

The Associated Press reports that Donald Trump’s White House will host a Black History Month event on Thursday, and the who’s who of sellouts will be in attendance to celebrate the jig.

According to the website, Trump’s heada** pick to be ambassador to t Herschel Walker, Trump’s favorite African American, Tim Scott of South Carolina, Republican Rep. John James of Michigan, prison reform advocate and recipient of a Trump pardon in 2020 thanks to Kim Kardashian Alice Johnson, and  Martin Luther King Jr.’s niece, Alveda King will join Felon 47 in the East Room for the event.

Other notable sellouts in attendance will be former ESPN host Sage Steele, Kodak Black, Lil Boosie, who recently begged Trump for a pardon on X, formerly Twitter, and Rod Wave, fresh off from performing at the Crypto Ball alongside Snoop Dogg.

The event was scheduled for last week but was postponed due to inclement weather.

Social media has been responding accordingly to the list of names who will be at the event.

“Sorry but ever single attendee (including that fuck ass president) is a cte having criminal degenerate,” one person on X wrote, adding a long rap sheet of problematic behavior from Rod Wave.

Luke Cage showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker added,  “Glad to hear our best and brightest will represent us….and if you don’t hear the sarcasm in my voice, you clearly don’t follow me on here.

The list of Black Trumpers continues to grow. Never forget these people were on the wrong side of history.

Michael Jackson Accusers Have More to Say in ‘Leaving Neverland’ Sequel Documentary

Six years after Leaving Neverland gave Wade Robson and James Safechuck a platform to share shocking accounts of Michael Jackson‘s alleged sexual abuse of them as children, the two men are once again taking to the documentary format to talk about their experiences.

As confirmed by Variety on Thursday (Feb. 20), a new project titled Surviving Michael Jackson will serve as a sequel to HBO’s bombshell 2019 two-parter in which Robson and Safechuck first described in graphic detail how the late King of Pop allegedly molested them at his Neverland Ranch in California when they were both minors — accusations Jackson’s estate has continuously and emphatically denied. Airing March 18 on the U.K.’s Channel 4, the hourlong follow-up will catch up with the two men as they share how they’ve fared against the public’s varying responses to their allegations since Leaving Neverland aired, with Dan Reed returning as director.

This time around, though, HBO is not involved. In 2019, Jackson’s estate sued the network for $100 million over claims the documentary violated a 27-year-old non-disparagement clause from a 1992 concert film for the icon’s Dangerous World Tour. The case was sent to private arbitration that year and was still pending as of September.

Robson and Safechuck have been open about the stresses of coming forward with their allegations against Jackson in adulthood, having spent the past decade pursuing civil lawsuits. When Leaving Neverland first came out, Robson told The Associated Press that he’d experienced “so much pushback and adversity in relation to telling the truth,” but that ultimately the documentary had been a “therapeutic” experience for him.

The duo make up just two of several accusers who have alleged sex abuse claims against Jackson before and after his 2009 death. Jackson was never convicted or held legally liable on any of the claims, however, and he and his estate have always maintained his total innocence.

Coco Jones Announces Debut Album ‘Why Not More’

Coco Jones announced Thursday (Feb. 20) that she’ll be dropping her debut album Why Not More on April 25 via Def Jam Recordings.

“It’s FINALLY here,” she wrote on X with a crying emoji. “My DEBUT album ‘Why Not More’ is dropping 4/25 and will be available for pre-order tonight 9pm PST.”

Jones released a handful of singles last year, including her Grammy-nominated hit “Here We Go (Uh Oh),” which was up for best R&B song and best R&B performance at this year’s awards show. “Here We Go (Uh Oh)” also became her first No. 1 on Adult R&B Airplay and received a remix with Leon Thomas. She’s set to release a new single, “Taste,” on Friday, Feb. 21, and is celebrating its release with a pop-up in West Hollywood, Calif.

Why Not More will arrive three years after her last project, What I Didn’t Tell You. The seven-track EP (with four more songs on the deluxe) included her breakout hit “ICU,” which became her career-first entry on the Billboard Hot 100, peaking at No. 62. “ICU” was nominated for best R&B performance and best R&B song at the 2024 Grammy Awards, winning the former, while Jones was up for best new artist, What I Didn’t Tell You (Deluxe) was up for best R&B album, and her “Simple” collaboration with Babyface from his 2022 album Girls Night Out was up for best traditional R&B performance.

Rocking a Satoshi Nakamoto T-shirt, shades and his red-dyed braids hanging out of his bandana, Thomas strummed his guitar and let his intoxicating vocals sedate the audience.

The Nickelodeon alum kicked off his set with the rock-fused “VIBES DON’T LIE.” “This has to be the most lit office of all time,” he said in the midst of his performance. “I’m f—ing with y’all.”

Per NPR, Thomas beat a snowstorm to fly in and was even a half-hour earlier than expected. Flanked by a live band and a pair of vocalists, the 31-year-old singer performed the jazzy “YES IT IS” and his album title track “MUTT,” which invaded the Billboard Hot 100 earlier in February to give Thomas his first chart entry.

Thomas took it back to Electric Dusk to close out with catalog staples “Breaking Point” and “Treasure in the Hills,” proving performance artistry is still alive and well.

There are plenty of firsts taking place for Thomas in his burgeoning career. In addition to “Mutt” cracking the Hot 100 at No. 100, the Brooklyn-born polymath made his late-night television debut on Feb. 6 with a dazzling performance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

Thomas’ Mutt topped Billboard‘s Best R&B Albums of 2024 list, and the singer slotted in at No. 6 on our Hottest R&B Singers of 2025 list.

“With the release of Mutt – an introspective survey of relationships in the social media age, told through rock-infused R&B and soul – Thomas quickly became one of the hottest names in R&B,” staff writer Kyle Denis wrote. “Whether you’re hearing “Answer Your Phone” in a bar or turning up to “Yes It Is” at an R&B function, Thomas has the hottest album in R&B right now. Just ask SZA or Keke Palmer or Issa Rae.”

This week: Drake’s new album with PartyNextDoor has a mid-week breakout hit, Charli XCX has a pre-Brat viral bump, Riley Green’s song (and video) for the lovers sees seasonal gains, and more.

Drake’s “Nokia” Is Buzzing, Aaron Hall Embraced on Streaming After “Gimme a Hug” Sample

In its first couple days of release, the early leader on streaming from PartyNextDoor & Drake’s new R&B collaborative album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U was Drake’s more rap-driven solo number “Gimme a Hug,” with the song topping the Apple Music real-time chart and reaching the top 10 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs USA listing. But over the week, another song from even deeper in the 21-track album has taken over as its top performer: the pop hook-driven, two-part banger “Nokia.”

Trending on Billboard

With backing vocals and a beat helmed by U.K. producer Elkan, “Nokia” – also credited solely to Drake – had the usual big streaming drop following its first day of release, but has been climbing throughout the week. On Tuesday, it posted 2.9 million official on-demand U.S. streams, according to initial data provided by Luminate – its best streaming performance since that Friday of release, and its first time passing “Hug” as the set’s most-streamed song. Meanwhile, the song has also been one of the week’s best sellers, topping the iTunes real-time chart and moving a combined 13,000 copies over its first five days of availability.

Meanwhile, “Hug” continues to offer warmth on streaming to its original sample source. Aaron Hall’s “I Miss You,” which Drake heavily lifts from towards the end of his $exy $ongs ¢enterpiece, garnered over 700,000 streams during the first five days of this tracking week (Feb. 14-18), after combining for under 100,000 streams the equivalent period the prior week, a gain of 694% for the 1993 Billboard Hot 100 top 20 hit. – ANDREW UNTERBERGER

‘How I’m Feeling Now’ Winter? An Old Charli XCX Track Is Going Viral

Charli XCX’s enormous 2024 — which included the critical and commercial success of her Brat album and its accompanying Sweat tour alongside Troye Sivan — has already pushed into 2025, thanks to a fruitful Grammys night and more arena headlining dates. Now, a song that’s years older than her comeback album is going viral: the tender, ethereal “Party 4 U,” from her 2020 lockdown album How I’m Feeling Now, has been exploding on TikTok in recent weeks, with a series of lip synch performances from longtime Charli fans ready to prove their pre-Brat bona fides.

A month ago, “Party 4 U” was earning 278,000 official on-demand U.S. streams (for the chart week ending Jan. 23), according to Luminate; that number more than doubled to 573,000 streams for the week ending Feb. 13, and will once again surpass that high-water mark after earning 830,000 streams from Feb. 14-18, according to initial Luminate reports. Charli herself acknowledged the viral explosion on Wednesday (Feb. 19): “it’s p crazy that this song is suddenly getting love in this kinda way,” she wrote. “I know this song means so much to so many angels. she’s a cutie <3>JASON LIPSHUTZ

Riley Green’s “Worst Way” on Its Way to Best Week Following V-Day Video Bump

Eagle-eyed chartwatchers may have seen Riley Green’s “Worst Way” poke its head into the lower stretches of the Hot 100 for a week here and there from late last year to early this year, though in its first four times appearing on the chart, it had not gotten higher than No. 91. This week, the single hits a new peak of No. 87, and it should beat that pretty handily on the upcoming chart, following a smartly timed release of the song’s steamy music video.

“Worst Way,” already one of the sexier country ballads in recent years, was taken to the next level by the Shane C. Drake-directed clip, which dropped the Thursday just before Valentine’s Day. In the visual, Green and his significant other find themselves unable to resist getting down, both in public and at home – including one scene paying tribute to a kitchen love scene between Kevin Costner and Susan Sarandon from classic 1988 baseball rom-com Bull Durham. The timely video electrified fans and the generally amorous, and shot to No. 1 on YouTube’s Trending chart.

Now, it should also significantly improve the song’s Hot 100 fortunes. In the five days following the video’s Feb. 13 premiere, it notched 5.5 million official on-demand U.S. streams, according to initial reports provided by Luminate – a 61% gain from the equivalent period the prior week – while also selling nearly 2,000 copies, up 486% from the previous week. Radio has also been picking up for the song, as it climbs No. 45-40 on this week’s Country Airplay listing, and has continued to grow throughout this week.

After 2024’s Ella Langley duet “You Look Like You Love Me” brought Green to the Hot 100’s top 40 for the first time as a featured guest, it looks like “Worst Way” could soon lead to his best showing as a lead artist on the chart yet. – AU

Two-Year-Old Dance Trend Revives 12-Year-Old Wale Song Because Time Is a Flat Circle

Back in 2023, TikTok creator @spencetiktoklegend made a dance trend to Wale and Sam Dew’s “LoveHate Thing,” the second single from the D.C. rapper’s The Gifted LP. Originally released in 2013, “LoveHate Thing” peaked at No. 89 on the Billboard Hot 100 – and now it could potentially challenge that should it maintain its newfound streaming momentum.

According to Luminate, “LoveHate Thing” earned over 290,000 official on-demand U.S. streams during the week of Jan. 24-30. The following week (Jan. 31-Feb. 6), that figure leapt 93% to over 560,000 official streams. By the second week of February (Feb. 7-13), streams for “LoveHate Thing” jumped a further 175% to over 1.54 million official streams, marking a whopping 431% streaming boost over the past two weeks.

On Jan. 27, TikTok user @skyesdalimitt revived Spence’s dance with a bit of her own twist to the tune of over 542,000 views. Naturally, the clip kicked off a revival of the dance trend, with an unofficial “LoveHate Thing” TikTok sound now playing in over 352,000 posts. (The official “LoveHate Thing” TikTok sound boasts just under 1,500 clips.)
