Gucci Mane “TakeDat,” Nino Man & Millyz “My Truth” & More | Daily Visuals 4.25.24

HipHopWired Featured Video

It’s been weeks since the internet was having a ball with P. Diddy’s name following allegations that he had sexual relations with multiple men in the music industry and just when the noise began to die out, Gucci Mane decided to add some fuel to that dying flame with his latest offering.

For his latest clip to “TakeDat,” Guwop has some fun of his own with the new phrase inspired by The Diddler a few weeks back and kicks it in a hot tub with a gang of beautiful young women while constantly saying “No Diddy” to end ever single rhyme he kicks throughout the song. Even when it didn’t apply to what he was saying he spit “No Diddy” (LOL).

Elsewhere Nino Man and Millyz make a New York to Boston connection and in their clip to “My Truth” the two rappers link up in the city that never sleeps and stroll through the streets while kicking their bars wherever they stop.

Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Lola Brooke, Shani Boni, and more.

DEE POTTS – “PAYIN”

Jeezy Responds to Abuse Allegations Made by Estranged Wife Jeannie Mai: ‘Deeply Disturbing’

Jeezy has responded to the allegations of domestic abuse and child neglect made by his estranged wife Jeannie Mai. The Snowman released a statement to his Instagram on Thursday (April 25) denying the “disturbing ” accusations.

“The allegations are not only false, but also deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved. This malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous,” Jeezy wrote to social media. “It’s disheartening to witness the manipulation and deceit at play and at this time my main concern is being an active father to our daughter as I continue to fight for court mandated joint custody. Rest assured, the truth will prevail through the proper legal channels.”

Per a court filing made on April 25 obtained by Complex, Mai accused Jeezy — born Jay Jenkins — on four different occasions. She claimed that the rapper choked her from behind and pushed her down the stairs during a stay at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in San Francisco in April 2022.

Another January 2022 incident alleges that Jeezy struck Mai in the face with a closed fist just weeks after giving birth to their only daughter, Monaco. She claimed the force from the blow caused a hemorrhage while he hurled insults at her.

“[Jeezy] has a history of threats, violence, and bodily harm. [Mai] mistakenly believed [Jeezy] when he convinced her prior to their marriage that he was a changed man, and his past was in his past, but as one can see from the examples of abuse [Mai] endured during the marriage that has not turned out to be the case,” the filing reads.

Two other incidents in the filing include one where Jeezy operated a golf cart while allegedly intoxicated and crashed which injured himself and Mai. Another reportedly went down following the 2022 Atlanta Mayor’s Masked Ball.

Jeezy allegedly verbally abused Jeannie Mai on their way home and when the argument continued outside their ride home, the “Put On” rhymer grabbed and ripped her dress around the neckline. Mai claimed the incident stemmed from Jeezy being unhappy she went to the bathroom without telling him at the gala.

Jeezy and Mai welcomed their daughter Monaco in 2021. The trap pioneer and Mai tied the knot in March 2021 after meeting in 2018. However, their relationship deteriorated and Jeezy filed for divorce from the former The Real co-host in September 2023 after two-and-a-half years of marriage.

According to documents viewed by Billboard at the time, the filing stated that the former pair were “living in a bona fide state of separation.” The rapper also states that the marriage is “irretrievably broken” with “no hope for reconciliation.”

Billboard has reached out to Jeezy’s reps for comment.

Billboard Español’s Sigal Ratner-Arias caught up with him to talk all about his busy schedule and how he gets ready for his constant touring and for a performance like the Latin AMAs. “I’ve been exercising daily for three years and the day I don’t exercise my body feels weird,” Schajris said. “And the diet, that’s vital. And I feel much better now that I’m almost 50 than at 40. I don’t know if you’ve seen me in shows, but I don’t stop jumping and I climb the rafters,” he added, laughing.

In addition to his work as a solo artist and businessman through his own record label, Dynamo Productions, the singer of “Lo Mejor de Mí” and “No Veo La Hora” is still part of the chart-topping duo Sin Bandera with Leonel García (under Sony Music), and talked about how he juggles it all.

“It’s a challenge. The schedules are crazy. In the middle of a tour with Sin Bandera, which we did 80 shows all over the world, owning my own record label and my own music, releasing a new album, having three children, a family, many artists that we are signing on Dynamo Productions who require my time and I am [also] the A&R of the company, so I am involved in all aspects of all the repertoires of all the albums — it is very demanding,” he acknowledged. “But it’s achieved because of the passion I have for doing all these things.”

As for his own music, which includes his most recent album #SiempreLoSupe and a new version of the title track with Alemor, he says he’s enjoying his freedom as an independent artist.

“As a soloist I give myself the luxury of flying and looking for other textures that are a little more rock, more symphonic, as in the case of ‘Silencio’ with Tony Levin,” Schajris explains. “I allow myself to do things that are a little more alternative. I even sing a cumbia with a band from Peru, Grupo 5.”

“There’s definitely more freedom when I work as a soloist,” he adds, “and it’s a lot of fun.”

The Latin AMAs will air live at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, April 25, from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas via Univision, UNIMÁS, Galavisión and ViX.

The records keep breaking, Taylor’s ‘The Tortured Poet’s Department’ became the first album to pass 1 billion Spotify streams in a single week. Oh, we are listening, but is one of the album’s rumored muses doing the same? As the Swifties and public dissect if songs are about Tay’s ex, Joe Alwyn or her fling with 1975, Matty Healy, ET caught up with the singer and asked “did he hear his diss track?” To which he responded, “I haven’t really listened to that much of it, but I’m sure it’s good.” It is good. And can we all stop figuring out who it’s about and just enjoy the music.?I pretend it’s my life. Lights, camera, b*tch smile, and Taylor is apparently smiling on vacation. Deborah Ayorinde stars in the second season of the anthology horror series, which takes place in Los Angeles in 1991. The series centers around Dawn Reeve (Ayorinde), a Los Angeles homicide detective investigating the murder of a foster home mother during one of the most contentious periods in the city.

Luke James, Ashley Thomas, Shahadi Wright Joseph, Alison Pill, Ryan Kwanten, Melody Hurd, Jeremy Bobb, Joshua J. Williams and Pam Grier star in the series.

The first season was set in 1950’s Compton and received backlash over its gruesome, racist violence. “I think we set out to make a show that was an emotional roller coaster, and it was very much rooted in truth,” series creator, Little Marvin said in an interview with The Grio in 2021. “I’m not interested in cardboard cutouts. I’m interested in all of our complexity and all of our nuance, and all of our flaws. And so I wanted to be unafraid of exploring that.”

Kelly Clarkson Can’t Be Caught With Stunning Olivia Rodrigo Cover

Kelly Clarkson is in the trees, in the breeze with a brand new Olivia Rodrigo cover.

For her The Kelly Clarkson Show‘s popular Kellyoke segment on Thursday (April 25), the star took on Rodrigo’s “Can’t Catch Me Now,” the powerful ballad off the Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes soundtrack.

Dressed in an olive green cargo dress and her hair in soft waves, Clarkson flawlessly delivered the haunting chorus, backed by a harmonizing vocalist and her instrumentalists, affectionally called My Band Y’all. “Through wading grass, the months will pass/ You’ll feel it all around/I’m here, I’m there, I’m every whеre/ But you can’t catch me now,” she declares in the chorus.

“Can’t Catch Me Now,” which dropped in November, serves as the opening track to the 17-song film soundtrack via Geffen Records. The soundtrack includes songs performed in the film by The Hunger Games star Rachel Zegler, as well as tracks by young artists in the folk/Americana genre.

Rodrigo attended the movie’s premiere, revealing on the red carpet that composing the track had been a “challenge for me as a songwriter.”

“Lots of my songs are kind of about my personal life,” she continued. “It was a wonderful experience to try to write something from the character of Lucy Gray. [She] is a character that I feel very connected to.”

With the help of the pet care brand Rover, Zappos has launched the Rover-Approved Dog-Walking Shoe Shop featuring a selection of curated footwear based on the type of dog walker you are (think fun names like Woke Up and Ready to Roll, 10K Steps a Day, Sport Mode and Night on the Town).

Everyone from Nick Jonas and Shawn Mendes, to Justin Bieber and Katy Perry have all been famously spotted taking their dogs out for walks, so it’s a no-brainer for Zappos to dedicated a campaign just for strolling with our four-legged friends.

Zappos says their curated styles are based on data too. When Rover surveyed 1,000 pet parents as well as five-star dog walkers, 62% said they have yet to purchase a pair of shoes specifically for walking their dog. And with 44% of participants walking up to two miles a day with their pooch, that’s a lot of steps for feet to go unsupported.

No matter what time of day you’re dog walking, you want to make sure your shoes come with arch support and durable sole to withstand a variety of terrains from grass to gravel. Waterproofness is another feature to consider as you’ll want to be prepared for those rainy days.

To help you stay comfy no matter how far you walk your pooch, ShopBillboard rounded up some of the best shoe styles including some sneaker deals from the collection below.
