She explained, “Candidly I have been dealing with some ongoing health issues that have to be addressed right now, but I will be back out there soon, that’s a promise! Please know it wasn’t an easy call but it’s definitely for the best. All other shows are still moving forward as planned.”

At press time Monét had not provided any further information on her health issues and her official website still had the three scotched dates listed: Roots Picnic (June 1), Governors Ball (June 9) and the Blavity House Party Music Festival (June 15), as well as the three other dates that appear to still be on the roster — Broccoli City Festival in Washington, DC (July 27), Lollapalooza in Chicago (August 1) and Outside Lands Festival in San Francisco (August 9).

Monét, 34, most recently performed at Coachella in April, where she celebrated getting her (literal) flowers from Beyoncé in the form of a beautiful bouquet from Bey. In the accompanying video, the mother of one showed the card to her three-year-old daughter, Hazel. People also noted that after her sets at Coachella Monét posted a pic of herself on stage in her Stories and revealed that she’s suffering from polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), a chronic hormonal reproductive disorder whose symptoms can include weight gain, infertility, acne, thinning hair, enlarged ovaries and irregular periods.

Her Story included a photo of Monét with her back to the camera and the message, “Welp.. I gained a lot of weight and it went a lot of places lol face, arms, tummy and most effectively… datassss… I usually am so critical and frustrated by it because PCOS has me really messed up, but optimistically at least now there’s two moons on the stage.”

Megan Thee Stallion Rips ‘Like a G6 Freestyle’ For #MeganMonday: ‘I Got the Best Pen in the Game’

Megan Thee Stallion gets sky-high in the latest edition of her #MeganMonday series this week. The MC dropped the fiery “Like a G6 Freestyle,” a hard-hitting take on Far East Movement’s 2010 hit in which Meg once again serves notice that she’s has the hottest pen in the game.

Sporting a curly blonde wig held down by shiny red headphones , a pink baby T-shirt and red leather pants in the video, Meg heated things up on the Bankroll Got It-produced track, running out of the gate with a line paying tribute to Oscar-winning Memphis hip-hop legends Three 6 Mafia in a verse that ends with a shout out to the Hunger Games. “Know I gotta stay fly like Three 6/ Got the strap in my bag like a freak b–ch/ Conceited with a very good reason/ I’m feelin’ like a housewife holdin’ up my peaches,” she raps. “Add ’em up, b–ches ain’t even a fraction/ I’m hungry in this game like I’m fightin’ for my faction/ Thee stallion, say my name, tails start waggin’/ Call PETA ’cause I’m sendin’ shots like Katniss.”

She casually drops a few skin-scorching insults (“Megan this, Megan that, b–ch, boo-hoo/ You’re really mad Megan ain’t wanna f–k with you/ Dog-ass b–ch, long hair like a Shih Tzu/ Thumbin’ through this motherfu–kin’ dough like fufu”), ending the 85-second blitz with a final reminder that she is not to be messed with.

“Makin’ random-ass moves, you’s a NPC/ No edit on these motherf–kin’ JPGs/ T—ies showin’ through this motherf–kin’ JPG/ Gaultier, b–ch, you know I been a G.O.A.T. to your fave/ On ballpoint, I got the best pen in the game,” she concludes.

Meg kicked off the series earlier this month by freestyling over a beat from Gucci Mane’s 2010 song “I Think I Love Her” before take a week off to promote her new single, “Boa.” Her latest era has also featured the release of the similarly snake-themed singles “Hiss” — which hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100) — and “Cobra.”

She also just kicked off her Hot Girl Summer tour with GloRilla, which touches down at Madison Square Garden in New York tonight (May 21).

MAGA Muva: Amber Rose Posts Pic With Donald Trump, Xitter Drags Her By The Dome

Amber Rose has declared she is a full-blown Donald Trump supporter. The alleged Slut Walk champion posted a photo of herself, Donald Trump and Melania Trump, and Xitter has been dragging her ever since.

With a simple caption of “Trump 2024 ??????” there stands Trump with a cheesy smile and thumbs up sandwiched between MAGA Muva Rose to his left and his alleged wife Melania on the right.

Social media was quick to point out the hypocrisy of Rose, who sees herself as a feminist, announcing her support of Trump, the same guy who proudly says he helped walk back Roe Vs Wade thanks to his three Supreme Court Justice picks.

There’s also the fact that he’s an adjudicated sexual assaulter who is currently on trial for paying a porn star, Stormy Daniels, hush money to keep quiet about the one-night stand he had with her, while he was married to Melania, his third baby momma.

A quick peruse of Yeezy’s ex’s socials reveals she has been toying with being the Op for a minute. If you’re aligning with Piers Morgan, MAGA ignorance is right up your alley.

Then, there’s the whole transphobia struggle that has reportedly caused many of her old friends to abandon ship.

Many are also noting that Joseline Hernandez called out the jig.

The Xitter peanut gallery has been going in on Rose. See for yourself in the gallery.

How much do you think her loyalty cost? Asking for a friend. Also, over under her “research” consisted of memes and Steve Bannon podcasts?

Katy Perry said goodbye to ‘American Idol’ after being a judge for seven years. Sabrina Carpenter performed her latest hit “Espresso” on ‘SNL.’ As Lana Del Rey headlined Hangout Fest, she surprised guests and brought out Jelly Roll, Benson Boone and Nessa Barrett. Lana is twerking with Sexy and singing with Benson and Nessa. Katy is slinging pizza on ‘Idol,’ and Sabrina gets nasty on ‘SNL.’ Diddy says sorry — do you believe it? We’re going in-depth with Tinashe as she has a viral smash, taking you to EDC and revealing the Billboard Hot 100.

Happy Monday, it’s Billboard News. Let’s jump into our top story. Diddy has released a video apologizing for his behavior after a video obtained by CNN of him assaulting his then-girlfriend Cassie in 2016 went viral. 50 Cent has something to say. Are the words enough as Sean “Diddy” Combs apologizes only after the gruesome video of him and ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura has been made public? 50 Cent was one of the first to comment, posting, “This is not going to work, who is advising him right now? SMH bad move.” He had originally posted saying, “This is why they put that tape out, they know they can’t charge him with what we saw, but they know we can’t un-see what we saw.” What happens in the video was part of the an assault allegation Cassie made in a now-settled lawsuit she filed against the hip-hop mogul in November. And it’s the beginning of the week, so you know there’s more. Here’s three things you should know today. Sabrina Carpenter was perfection as she took over ‘Saturday Night Live’ over the weekend giving them a taste of “Espresso.”

Reuniting The Dogg Pound and Tha Eastsidaz for the visuals to “We All We Got,” Snoop Dogg and company pull out the classic cars to get turnt up with a gang of women that were obviously born after Hip-Hop’s golden era. We ain’t hatin,’ just sayin.’

From the West Coast to the Midwest, Lupe Fiasco looks like his old self again and in his clip for “Samurai,” the Chicago MC takes it back to his city and roams the streets while kicking his bars and reminding everyone that he’s still got that work to keep heads noddin’ and skateboarders rolling.

Tinashe Is Finding Her Own Success With ‘Nasty’ | Billboard News

Tinashe is finding her own success with “Nasty” from her new album ‘QUANTUM BABY,’ now that she’s an independent artist. We share her transition from girl group, to a solo artist, to going independent and more.

Tetris Kelly:

Tinashe may be a name you know, but as an indie artist? She’s thriving. As a teenager, Tinashe was part of a girl group called The Stunners. She would later go solo when she signed to RCA. After three albums with the label, it was announced that she and RCA had parted ways. She told Billboard, “At the time I made the decision because I was following my gut instinct and it was telling me that relationship wasn’t productive anymore.” Since then, Tinashe’s released three albums on her own with another on the way. The lead single off of ‘QUANTUM BABY,’ “Nasty,” is blowing up in part thanks to a meme on TikTok. She says, “Going indie has been extremely rewarding, especially spiritually and emotionally in terms of how I view myself as a creative.”

Xavi’s ‘Corazón de Piedra’ Tops Regional Mexican Airplay Chart

Xavi earns his second No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart as “Corazón de Piedra” advances from No. 3 to lead the May 25-dated ranking.

“Corazón de Piedra” takes the top spot as the Greatest Gainer of the week, with 7.8 million audience impressions on U.S. reporting radio stations during the May 10-16 tracking week, according to Luminate. That’s a 27% gain from the week prior. Last week’s leader, Shakira and Grupo Frontera’s “(Entre Paréntesis),” slips to No. 2 after falling 15% in audience, to 6.3 million.

All charts dated May 25 will post in full on Billboard‘s website on May 21.

To date, the biggest supporters for “Corazón de Piedra” among reporters to the Regional Mexican Airplay chart reporting panel are KOND Fresno, Calif., KISF Las Vegas and KLNO Dallas, all with over 400 plays for it since its release, followed closely by WOJO Chicago and KHOT Phoenix (with all five stations owned by Univision).

Thanks to “Corazón,” the Mexican singer-songwriter nabs his second No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay, just three months after “La Diabla” earned him his maiden champ on the Feb. 10-dated list (the latter dips 24-38 on the latest chart, with a 31% drop in audience, to 2 million). In between his two chart-toppers, the Phoenix-based 19-year-old reached No. 20 with “La Víctima” (chart dated March 2).

Beyond its Regional Mexican Airplay coronation, “Corazón,” released March 23 through Interscope/ICLG, reaches a new peak on the overall Latin Airplay tally, jumping 9-5 in its seventh week.
