Former US President Trump attacked at Pennsylvania rally

Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican Party nominee for President of the United States, was in Pennsylvania hosting a rally when shots rang out. After popping noises were heard, several Secret Service agents rushed the stage, turning into a photo op that some on Xitter believe to be staged.

According to a breaking NBC News report, Donald Trump was in Western Pennsylvania hosting a rally as part of the campaign trail for the business mogul and presidential hopeful. Trump was in the early stages of the rally when loud noises were reportedly heard in the distance. The sounds somewhat resembled gunshots, prompting Secret Service agents to secure the safety of the former president.

More from NBC News:

Trump was speaking when he reached for the side of his face as popping sounds rang out over the rally. He then crouched down as Secret Service agents rushed the stage and surrounded him. He was quickly escorted into a vehicle, walking off the stage with agents on all sides.

Screams from the audience rang out as the scene unfolded.

A Secret Service spokesperson said in a statement posted to X that “the former President is safe.”

“This is now an active Secret Service investigation and further information will be released when available,” agency spokesperson Anthony Guglielmi posted.

Trump is currently being treated at a local facility and was reportedly injured in the ear and head area. Dramatic images online show Trump being tackled by agents with the American Flag flying behind them amid the confusion.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, some are saying that the shooting was a staged event meant to sway voters. Others had other things to say and we’ll feature reactions from all sides below.

Richard Simmons Portrait Session

Richard Simmons, a fitness guru with an outsized personality and infectious energy, has died at the age of 76, according to a breaking report. Richard Simmons dominated the fitness space for decades, later shrinking away from the spotlight due to the public demands of being a celebrity.

TMZ obtained exclusive details regarding the death of Richard Simmons, who was found unresponsive in his Hollywood Hills home according to the report.

While the outlet learned that Simmons fell in a bathroom inside the home, it isn’t known if that’s how the housekeeper found him. So far, the cause of Simmons’ death has been ruled due to natural causes, although because of his celebrity status, local police are widening the investigation. Foul play is not suspected, however.

From TMZ:

Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … police and fire responded to a call from his housekeeper just before 10 AM Saturday and pronounced him dead at the scene. We’re told no foul play is suspected at this time, and cops are investigating it as a natural death.

Shockingly, RS posted multiple times on Facebook recently … including thanking fans for all the birthday wishes he received.

Simmons was born in New Orleans, Louisiana back in 1948 … later attending Florida State University where he got a Bachelor’s degree in art before he moved to Los Angeles in the ’70s.

Born Milton Teagle Simmons, the fitness star opened a series of gyms in the Los Angeles region before exploding in the world of at-home videos such as his popular Sweatin’ To The Oldies aerobic videos. He was also an actor, starring as himself in the long-running soap opera General Hospital.

In recent times, Simmons maintained a reclusive lifestyle but periodically used social media to interact with his loving fanbase and continue to promote positive messages.

Richard Simmons just celebrated his birthday yesterday (July 12). He was 76.

Youth to the People’s face wash has landed a 4.7-star rating on Amazon (out of five) with reviewers floored over how “fresh” their skin has felt after using the gel cleanser for only a few days. More proof of its popularity: more than 8,000 bottles of this face wash have been purchased on Amazon so far this month. “My face is so much brighter and fresh after using this,” one reviewer noted.

This “superfood cleanser” is beloved for its vegan ingredients that combine into a gel-like texture that smoothes easily over your skin. Within 30 seconds, it takes on a foam consistency, to pick up all the dirt, oils and debris on your face. Along with cleaning your face, the cleanser aims to minimize the look of pores as well as remove makeup all in one use.

Along with being sensitive skin-friendly, you can expect a cooling sensation after application. Part of that is due to its pH-balanced formula that’s gentle while using natural antioxidants to help prevent pore clogging.

Besides employing all-natural ingredients, Youth to the People uses a reusable glass container for the facial cleanser that’s easy to refill.

The 26-year-old presented a more grunge-aesthetic during a teaser on Thursday (July 10) for her upcoming guest appearance on influencer Drew Afualo’s podcast, The Comment Section. The full outfit featured a rainbow skirt from Chopova Lowena and a Musinsa top (as reported by Chappell Roan fashion blogger @chappellroanstyle), portraying a more relaxed look than what she wore on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. ShopBillboard couldn’t help but zero-in on the “Casual” singer’s shoe choice though: a popular pair of Steve Madden boots that are still in stock.

Missy Elliott Regales L.A. With Out of This World Tour

“I’m just the warm-up, baby!” So declared Timbaland during his opening set (July 12) for one of the most anticipated tours of 2024: the Out of This World Tour — The Missy Elliott Experience: the rap icon’s first headline outing.

It was the second of the tour’s two-night Los Angeles stand at Crypto.com Arena. With a percolating set that included classics in the songwriter-producer’s hit arsenal such as “The Way I Are,” 50 Cent’s “Ayo Technology” and Justin Timberlake’s “My Love,” Elliott’s longtime musical partner gave the packed house an appetizing taste of what would be in store later when the legend herself arrived onstage.

Fellow featured guests Ciara and Busta Rhymes brought their A games as well. Deftly catching Timbaland’s baton toss, a black leather-clad Ciara came out blazing to an explosion of audience cheers. Noting that she “just had my fourth baby,” the singer-songwriter proceeded to demonstrate she’s lost none of her formidable dancing skills as she — accompanied by a fiercely flexible dance crew — undulated, twerked and sashayed her way through crowd-pleasers like “Goodies,” “Ride,” “Like a Boy,” Promise,” “Level Up” and, of course “1, 2 Step.”

Trending on Billboard

Following suit, rap legend Rhymes, alongside his fave hype man Spliff Star, ratcheted the excitement level even higher with songs like Chris Brown’s “Look at Me Now” (featuring Rhymes’ signature rapid flow: “We don’t use special effects because we are the special effects,” noted Rhymes), “Turn It Up,” “I Know What You Want” and “Pass the Courvoisier.” He also brought Ty Dolla $ign and 310Babii to the stage. “We lift our artists up,” said Rhymes. “That’s what we’re supposed to do.”

Then it was Missy time.

Her ensuing 90-minute show was divided into four acts, introduced by dancer/master of ceremonies Kanec. Act one began with the huge image of a spaceship that touched down onstage. Then a portal door, emblazoned with a giant M, rose and there stood the woman that everyone — all cheering their hearts out — had come to see. Launching into “Throw It Back,” a silver-helmeted Elliott wasted no time getting down to business as she and her 20-member dance crew got to stepping on an invigorating eight-song set that also included “We Run This,” “Sock It to Me” and “I’m Really Hot.”

Elliott left no stone unturned (“We’re going to see who the real Missy fans are.”). as the next two eight-song acts featured roaring crowd pleasers from “The Rain,” “She’s a B—-” (wearing a bubble coat that billowed out behind her at one point) and a rollicking “Get Ur Freak On” to gems “One-Minute Man,” “Drip Demeanor” and “Coochie Don’t Fail Me Now.” To give fans an equal opportunity to view the proceedings a bit closer, four circular screens near the top of the arena relayed what was happening onstage as an energetic, red-haired Elliott went toe-to-toe with her male and female troupe of dancers. And at one point, to get even closer to fans during the second act, she hopped onto a smaller circular platform that was rolled out above the fans on the floor.

In act four, “the last stop on the planet,” Elliott (wearing a large pink fake fur hat) and crew donned graffiti-splashed outfits whose kaleidoscopic neon colors flashed brightly onstage (as did bracelets that were distributed upon entering Crypto). Segueing from a “WTF (Where They From)” mashup to “Bring the Pain” and another rousing fan fave “Work It,” Elliott surprised everyone by coming offstage and walking the perimeter of the venue, a seeming victory lap with her smilingly slapping hands as she passed by clamoring fans. Coming back onstage, Elliott rounded off the final act of her love fest with “Pass Dat Dutch” and “Dance with Me” before ripping it up with Timbaland on “Up Jumps the Boogie,” Rhymes on “Touch It” and Ciara on “Lose Control.”

“I say this every place I go,” the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer said toward the show’s end. “I never take for granted that you spent your hard-earned money; this means a lot. I appreciate every last one of you all. Amen!” And as a satiated crowd filed out of Crypto.com, their comments echoed what Rhymes had noted earlier in his show: “Thank you, Missy, for putting us all together.”

The 30-date, North American Out of This Word Tour – The Missy Elliott Experience lands in Las Vegas Saturday (July 13) with upcoming stops in Denver (7/16), Houston (7/20) and Washington, D.C. (8/8), before wrapping on Aug. 23 in Rosemont, Ill. View the rest of the tour’s itinerary on her official website here.

Candace Owens Reacts to Eminem’s ‘Lucifer’ & ‘Bad One’ Disses on ‘The Death of Slim Shady’ Album

Candace Owens is firing back at Eminem after the Detroit legend dissed her on his new album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce).

On the track “Lucifer,” the 51-year-old rapper takes aim at the conservative pundit, spewing the lines, “And Candice O, I ain’t mad at her/ I ain’t gon’ throw the fact b—- forgot she was Black back at her/ Laugh at her, like them crackers she’s backin’ after.”

Em also refers to Owens, 35, as a “MAGA dirtbag in a skirt” and drops such nicknames for her as “Grand Wizard,” “Klandace” and “Grand Dragon,” before scheming to plans to “get in her pants.”

Elsewhere on The Death of Slim Shady, the 15-time Grammy winner bashes Owens — a supporter of Donald Trump and a critic of Black Lives Matter — once again on the song “Bad One,” where he raps that “she turned her back on her own race.”

Shortly after the album dropped on Friday (July 12), Owens addressed the disses on her YouTube channel in an eight-minute diatribe, calling Eminem a “lefty elitist” who is “cosplaying a race that you aren’t.”

Trending on Billboard

“You’re so irrelevant, your music isn’t good anymore,” she added, dubbing Em “granddad Shady.” “He is a lesson to a lot of people out there that you need to know when it’s time for you to retire.”

This isn’t the first time Eminem and Owens have clashed. In August 2023, she criticized the rapper’s age and speculated about his sexuality after he sent a cease-and-desist letter to then-Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy for using his music while campaigning.

“Some people also say that when we get older we get grayer. We know that’s true,” Owens said in a video on her YouTube channel. “But for Eminem, the once hardcore rapper, it seems that he is getting older and gayer. Yes, Eminem might be gay.”

The Death of Slim Shady boasts 19 tracks and includes previously released singles “Houdini” and “Tobey,” featuring Big Sean and BabyTron, along with a sequel to 1999’s “Guilty Conscience” with Dr. Dre. Eminem peppered collabs throughout the project with special guest appearances from Jelly Roll, J.I.D, Skylar Grey, Bizarre, Ez Mil, and more.

The new LP marks Em’s first album since 2020’s Music to Be Murdered By as he seeks a 10th consecutive chart-topper on the Billboard 200.

Jelly Roll Delivers Surprise Club Show in Tampa After Morgan Wallen Postpones Stadium Concert

Jelly Roll performed a surprise club show in Tampa, Fla., on Friday (July 12) after Morgan Wallen postponed his stadium concert.

The “Need a Favor” singer-rapper, who was scheduled to open for Wallen at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium on Friday night, announced the intimate gig after Wallen called off his concert due to an illness.

“TAMPA! Dallas Bull tonight— doors open at 7pm. If you have a ticket to the show you get in for free. (This is for ticket holders only) FIRST COME FIRST SERVE,” Jelly wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

Hours before gates were set to open at his Tampa stadium show, Wallen announced on social media that we was too sick to perform.

“I hate to reschedule shows but I powered through being sick in Tampa last night, and unfortunately woke up feeling way worse today,” Wallen wrote on X.

Trending on Billboard

As a result of the illness, the “Last Night” singer postponed his concert at the city’s Raymond James Stadium to Oct. 4. He also moved his upcoming shows at Charlotte, N.C.’s Bank of America Stadium to Oct. 18 and 19. Wallen’s next performance is scheduled for July 25 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Wallen’s global One Night at a Time tour has been a concert juggernaut, often selling out multiple stadium shows in various cities, such as his three-night, sold-out stint at Nashville’s Nissan Stadium earlier this year. Openers on select dates include Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Nate Smith, Bryan Martin, Bailey Zimmerman, Ella Langley and others.

The Tennessee native recently had a five-week run atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart with his and Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help” collaboration, which dropped mid-May. The track was dethroned by Sabrina Carpenter’s “Please Please Please” in late June.

Bruh: AT&T Reveals Nearly All of It’s Call & Text Records Stolen During Massive Data Breach

AT&T Data Breach: Millions of Customers' Data Exposed

Source: China News Service / Getty /ATT

AT&T customers have much to worry about after news of a massive data breach exposed their data.

CNN reports AT&T was the victim of a massive data breach, leading to call and text message records from mid-to-late 2022 of tens of millions of cellphone customers and many non-AT&T customers to be exposed, AT&T revealed on Friday, July 12.

Bruh.

The company says the compromised data includes the telephone numbers of “nearly all” of its cellular customers and customers from other wireless providers who utilized its cellular network between May 1, 2022, and October 31, 2022.

Per CNN:

The stolen logs also contain a record of every number AT&T customers called or texted – including customers of other wireless networks – the number of times they interacted, and the call duration.

Importantly, AT&T said the stolen data did not include the contents of calls and text messages nor the time of those communications.

The records of a “very small number” of customers from January 2, 2023, were also implicated, AT&T said.

“We have an ongoing investigation into the AT&T breach and we’re coordinating with our law enforcement partners,” the FCC said on social media platform X.

How Did This AT&T Breach Happen?

Now, suppose you’re wondering how this happened. In that case, the communications company is blaming an “illegal download” on a third-party cloud platform it learned about in April as it was dealing with another unrelated data breach.

Speaking with CNN, spokesperson for AT&T, Alex Byers says this recent breach had “no connection in any way” to another incident in March.

In that breach, the company says personal information, such as Social Security numbers of 73 million current and former customers, made its way to the dark web.

AT&T issued a statement about the breach: “We sincerely regret this incident occurred and remain committed to protecting the information in our care.”

Okay.

We wish these hackers had used their talents to help, like exposing Donald Trump or wiping away everyone’s debt.

Just saying.
