Becky G Is Ready to ‘Bring in the Big Guy’ in Aquatic Super Bowl Ad Teaser: Watch

Becky G embarks on an aquatic safari in the teaser for Mountain Dew’s upcoming Super Bowl commercial — but she isn’t quite impressed yet with what she sees.

While sipping on a Baja Blast as the soda company’s Mountain Dude leads her group on a rafting expedition, the “Shower” singer watches as four seals sitting on a rock formation bark out a jingle in the clip posted Thursday (Jan. 30). When their performance doesn’t get much of a reaction from Becky or the other passengers, their shaggy-coat-wearing tour guide then asks, “Should we bring in the big guy?”

Taking a beat to consider, the California native nods. “Yeahhh,” she says, a grin stretching across her face.

“It’s gonna be a blast,” reads a message at the end of the clip.

On Instagram, the company and the musician jointly wrote, “Get your vocal cords ready. 2.9.25 #DoTheDew.” 

Becky is just one of many musicians participating in Super Bowl LIX campaigns this year, and Mountain Dew is only the latest company that has rolled out teasers in recent weeks. Charli XCX stars in a campaign with Matthew McConaughey for Uber Eats, and Post Malone teamed up with comedian Shane Gillis for a Bud Light brand deal. 

The “Mamiii” musician opened up about why she chose to partner with Mountain Dew in an interview with People, sharing that it was the company’s sense of humor that won her over. “I’m really proud to be doing this with Mountain Dew, because there’s just a certain cloth that I’m cut from when it comes to things that make me smile,” she told the publication.

While on set for the commercial, the star says she also picked up a new nickname: Super Bowl Becky. “Has a little swing to it,” she said. “I was like, ‘Oh, I’m taking that one.’”
