A new chapter of Goosebumps drops on Friday (Oct. 13). The series, premiering on Disney+ and Hulu, is inspired by the bestselling novels from R.L. Stine.

Set in present day, Goosebumps centers around five high schoolers whose investigation into the 1993 death of a local teenager leads them on a “shadowy and twisted journey” that uncovers “dark secrets from their parents’ past.”

The premiere episode, “Say Cheese and Die,” follows a star quarterback who finds an old camera “that causes his life to spiral,” per IMDB.
