Hailey Welch joins a long list of online sensations that have emerged over the years due to her now-ubiquitous sound clip explaining her “Hawk Tuah” technique. Now almost universally known as the Hawk Tuah Girl, Hailey Welch is living the life of a mini-celebrity but what exactly is the craze all about?
We have content creators Tim & Dee TV for bringing Hailey Welch to the masses. In one of their videos that was filmed in Nashville, Tenn., the hosts of the channel are walking around a rather popping venue asking women what is their go-to move in the bedroom to make a man “go crazy” in their words.
It appears that many of the young women in the video were pretty proud of their, ahem, oral abilities as that seemed to be a common refrain. However, things went all the way left with the 21-year-old Welch, who appeared to be a little lit, creating the viral moment that will live forever and has sparked several zany memes.
“You gotta give ’em that ‘hawk tuah’ and spit on that thang, you get me?” exclaimed Welch, and the trend was born.

With all the buzz surrounding her, several outlets have scrambled to get Welch’s story and learn more about the woman behind the phrase.
What has been learned is that Welch is from the Volunteer State although she hasn’t been explicit about where her hometown but there is no denying her distinct accent. Welch also isn’t a schoolteacher as has been reported and confirmed that she worked at a spring factory in her home state before recently quitting. According to an interview she did with the Plan Bri podcast with host Brianna LaPaglia, and shared some details about her sudden rise to fame.

Of course, Welch is having to deal with the weirdos and folks pretending to be her online. Welch explained that she long ago deleted all of her social media accounts but that hasn’t stopped the mouth breathers in some dank basement from attempting to seize on her moment for whatever odd reasons they have.
Tim & Dee TV is milking the moment for views as well and is selling merch with the phrase. We weren’t able to uncover the details of Welch’s business with the content creators but in the Plan Bri chat, Welch revealed that she’s working with Jason Poteete of Fathead Threads on merch and was clear in saying Poteete is giving her a substantial cut of the profits of the official Hawk Tuah line. However, some strange person asked Poteete to get Welch to spit in a jar for $600, a request she found revolting.
There have been debunked rumors that Welch signed with the UTA talent agency. However, she has confirmed she has a manager and team behind her now. Welch was also spotted with the likes of Shaquille O’Neal, who took photos with her during his recent DJ gig in Nashville.
It isn’t known what’s next for Hailey Welch but considering her fun energy and southern charm, she’ll be expected to land a deal somewhere for appearances and more.

An Atlanta woman’s TikTok series shedding light on her toxic relationship with her ex-husband has gone viral after captivating social media users across all platforms.
The 50-part series shared by TikTok user, ReesaTeesa, titled “Who TF Did I Marry” is an extensive recount of her experience with a man she met online and married during the pandemic.
“I’m going to tell the story of how I met, dated, married, and divorced a real pathological liar,” she said in the introductory video, sharing that she’s “going to be truthful, even if it makes me look bad.”
The story begins with Teesa meeting the man she nicknamed “Legion” on March 4, 2020, through Facebook Dating. She was unaware they had also matched on Hinge until he told her about it. After exchanging numbers, the pair had their first telephone conversation, where “Legion” shared information about his childhood, family, and friends and what he did for a living.
Legion told her that he was a wealthy former arena football player who had a job at Apple during his off-season, sharing that he recenlty relocated to Atlanta from California to work as the VP of a condiment company. While getting to know one another, they shared intimate details about their lives, with Legion revealing that he had recently divorced his first wife due to her infidelity. Legion and Reesa discussed what they were looking for in a relationship and continued dating; she was falling for him.
Shortly after they started dating, COVID-19 shut down the world, which intensified their romance. Legion and Reesa began living together, and while it was against her Christian values to cohabitate with a man before marriage, she didn’t want to be alone. He was also taking care of her by paying her bills. Their relationship continued to escalate, and soon, they were discussing buying a home together, with Legion reassuring Reesa that he could afford a $700,000 home.
While Legion always assured her that he had savings and money to pay the downpayment on relatively expensive homes in cash, multiple attempts to go through with the process fell through on several different homes, always for different reasons. The same suspicious circumstance also began to occur around a series of cars the couple intended to purchase.
After nine months, the couple became pregnant within months of meeting but unfortunately lost the pregnancy soon after. Despite the multiple setbacks, the two got married in January of 2022. In the following months, Teesa found out through some digging that Legion was not the VP of the condiment company or a former arena football player, he had falsified legal documents, lied about his social security number, created fake bank statements, and had even been having one-sided conversations with people who were not actually on the phone while in front of her. During that time Teesa also discovered he worked for a temp company as a forklift driver, had a criminal record, and had lied about his past marriages. Additionally, it is revealed that Legion has a twin brother who seemingly has the life he has been trying to portray.
The pair divorced by June of that year. She says she has since worked on forgiving herself for getting caught up in such a situation and for believing Legion’s many elaborate lies.
While some users had just discovered the content creator’s story, others were too invested as she wrapped up the series and posted the final video on Saturday. Teesa also held a two-hour live chat on the video-sharing platform, revealing more shocking information about the ordeal.
The saga has since completely blown up online, with many comparing it to a riveting television show. Streaming platform Tubi even commented, writing: “Starting now, no spoilers please” on part one of the 52-part playlist, receiving more than 27k likes.
The sentiment dubbing Teesa’s saga as “better than tv” was repeated countless times across her videos, with many people speculating her story will eventually be picked up for a movie or television series, similar to “Zola,” the 2021 film adapted from a 148 part Twitter thread posted by dancer Aziah Wells back in 2015.
“I just canceled my Hulu subscription,” said a comment on one video in the list, while another said, “Just canceled my Netflix subscription and handed my kids a box of Fruit Loops. They’re fine til Tuesday or so. Let’s go…”
In regards to why she felt the need to share her experience, the viral storyteller said during the live stream that she intended to help raise awareness for other women and forgive herself for falling for the elaborate scheme.
“I just know that everything was a lie. I have not found anything that proves something was true,” Teesa explained in a live chat. “I need to forgive myself; maybe I shouldn’t say forgive myself for being dumb, but definitely forgive myself, for you would rather be right and married than be obedient and patient.”

Safaree is trending on X this week and as it happens, it’s never for a reason one would readily expect. The reality television star posted a NSFW gym video mocking Wiz Khalifa and fans online believe they’re having a bulge war.
Earlier this year, Wiz Khalifa, a known gym rat who trains in mixed martial arts, posted a bench curl video in his typical workout shorts with fans noticing that “Little Wiz” was able to be seen in full color through the gear. While it didn’t seem to be an intentional choice, fans made a bit of a commotion but moved on from the moment quickly.
However, Safaree, who operates an OnlyFans page, posted and deleted a video of him doing a similar workout with his goodness and mercy showing through his pants, and fans were taken aback. On OnlyFans, Safaree called his video the “Wiz Khalifa Workout Challenge” although we doubt the Pittsburgh rapper signed up for this particular footrace.
On X, formerly Twitter, the comments are a little lusty with some wondering how Safaree’s ex-girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, managed the, ahem, equipment for the years they dated. Others are calling the former Scaff Beezy corny for doing so while some ladies are saying that his corniness is part of the appeal.
Check out the reactions below. Naturally, we can’t share the video but it’s out there if you’re looking hard enough.

Madonna kicked off her music career in the early 1980s and she has remained a fixture on the charts and touring circuit well into the 21st Century. However, a new video featuring the “Queen of Pop” has X users both slamming her for being a woman of a certain age with others praising her for doing so at this stage of life.
Madonna, 65, is currently on her North American The Celebration Tour, which honors her four-decade career in music. From what has been reported, the singer and actress has been wowing crowds with her hits and performances, but a clip posted by an X user has taken hold on the social media network.
An X user named @JebraFaushay clipped a TikTok video from the @madonnalivepop408 account of the singer performing “Ray Of Light” in a silver suit while holding a bar. While the clip makes it seem like Madonna is using the bar to support herself, it appears to be a safety precaution as another video shows the “Like A Virgin” star performing on an elevated and mobile pedestal.
As the ageist comments rolled on in droves on both TikTok and X, Public Enemy frontman Chuck D was among the many to defend Madonna for having the moves and energy to rock a crowd at her age while mentioning her use of pilates to stay in shape.
“At 63 i know i can bike better than i ever did and Pilates aint easy but i give it to @Madonna for pushing the bars … @FlavorFlav is taking Pilates too and hes 64. So ageism sometimes gets like racism both ways if you let it. For anyone over 50 the rule is either you do the songs or the songs do you. @Madonna has some hard songs to perform in her catalogue,” Chuck D wrote.

A church in Atlanta found itself the center of discussion online after videos from a New Year’s Eve service went viral. The dReam Center Church of Atlanta held service this past Sunday (December 31) and a moment showing attendees rocking out to “Swag Surfin’” has sparked an interesting debate.
As seen on local outlet 11 Alive, footage of the Sunday service from The dReam Center Church of Atlanta went wide and showed Pastor William Murphy leading his flock to dance to the song “Walk It Out” by Unk before opening the stage to play “Swag Surfin’” from Fast Life Yungstaz.
Pastor Murphy used the songs, most especially “Walk It Out,” to illustrate how he wants the flock to move into the new year, and this would seem to be a familiar bent for the churchgoers at dReam Center Church
From what we learned, dReam Center Church is known for its high-energy sermons and services, not unlike many churches nationwide that minister to a younger demographic. However, there are some of the faith who feel that the use of secular music in church is a clashing of worlds while others welcome the shift as a breath of fresh air.
On X, formerly Twitter, the debate seems split down the middle with some appreciating the moment and others blasting it. We’ve got those reactions listed below.

Club Bella Noche is still getting motion. The Baton Rouge club is still lit, per X, formerly known as Twitter, as video footage of party night during LSU Homecoming has gone viral.
But first, you might need background on Bella Noche. Eight years ago, Hazel London, and her homegirl Jerhonda Henderson, were the guests at a wedding that was marred by a shooting. The location of the ill-fated nuptials was Bella Noche, and London was absolutely flummoxed that a good time was ruined by a shooting outside the venue and she let local news station WBRZ know exactly why.
“It’s upsetting me and my homegirl cause we feel like, Well damn if you can’t go to Bella Noches [sic], where the hell couls you go?!,” she said, her charismatic delivery quickly making the vid go viral.

Fast forward to 2023, and clearly Bella Noche is still lit. As reported by Madame Noire, a new clip of an assembled crowd of partygoers having an absolute blast at the infamous venue has gone viral in 2023.
The video of a Saturday night (Oct. 21) party features BBE AJ performing his “SlaughterHouse 3’Mix” in a bright yellow Moschino sweatshirt, a partygoer with a whistle (who is on beat) and a jam-packed crowd bouncing along.
If Bella Noche is like this every weekend, book it as a destination. Hopefull the whole guns in the parking lot vibes have settled. We understand now, Hazel London, and her homegirl Jerhonda Henderson, we understand. Peep more reactions in the gallery.

Oysters are a delicacy enjoyed by many across the world, and a new spot in Atlanta might have to find itself a new haul after a video highlighting the restaurant went viral. What has some on social media flabbergasted is that the young lady threw down four dozen oysters during a date she seemingly didn’t want to go on.
TikTok user EquanaB shared a video to her TikTok account highlighting Fontaine’s Oyster House, a popular seafood restaurant in Atlanta. Opening her video by saying that she was meeting with a man she ignored for weeks simply out of boredom, EquanaB documents her date night and devouring of oysters, complete with slurping sounds and breakdowns of how good the food was.
We’re never going to shame a young woman for getting it how she lives but what folks online are completely shocked by is the fact that EquanaB probably wiped out Fontaine’s inventory in one night. Granted, the oysters with $15 per dozen so her date wouldn’t have had to shell out too much for the one-sided date.
Speaking of, the true plot twist, granted if this is an actual true story, is that her date ditched her at Fontaine’s and left her with the bill. With folks always looking to go viral and the fact folks have been duped before, we caution readers to take all of this information with a grain of salt.
Again, as users on X, formerly Twitter, have shared, 48 oysters are overdoing it to the max. We just hope that EquanaB’s insides are okay after taking down that much seafood on top of lemon drop martinis, potatoes, and crab cakes.
Check out the X reactions and video below.

Lizzo‘s got some blue going on. And to show off her new hair color, she recreated an iconic TikTok meme starring a young Selena Gomez, who gave her seal of approval on the “About Damn Time” singer’s video Thursday (March 2).

In her TikTok, Lizzo reveals a chic new hairstyle with streaks of blue highlights, and she’s lip-synching to a viral audio clip of Gomez chatting with reporters at an event in 2007. “I got some blue going on!” Lizzo mouths along to the Wizards of Waverly Place star saying in the clip. “I don’t know, I like a little edge, a little pop in my hair, so I wanted to add something different especially for the Teen Vogue party.”
Gomez left her stamp of approval on the TikTok, commenting with a simple blue heart emoji. The Yitty founder responded with an emoji of her own: a kissy face.
Later, Lizzo posted a video showing her new look in action, filming herself trying out a TikTok dance while onstage at a recent concert in Milan.
The “Truth Hurts” musician has been on fire recently when it comes to recreating beloved internet memes. She recently made her concert crowd burst into laughter by quoting Ariana DeBose’s viral BAFTAs rap in which she professed, “Angela Bassett did the thing!”
Meanwhile, Gomez just days ago announced she’d be taking a break from social media following rumored drama — fueled by some comments made by the Only Murders in the Building star — among herself, Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber. “This is a little silly,” she told her TikTok followers Feb. 23 as she announced her online hiatus. “I’m 30, I’m too old for this.”

Ariana DeBose is opening up about her show-opening musical medley at the 2023 BAFTA Awards.
During an interview on BBC Radio 2’s The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show, the Oscar-winning singer and actress spoke out for the first time since receiving backlash on social media after performing an original rap in honor of the female nominees at the Feb. 19 awards show in London.
Host Zoe Ball opened the conversation by praising DeBose’s performance, which mixed a high-energy medley of Eurythmics‘ “Sisters Are Doin’ It for Themselves” and Sister Sledge’s “We Are Family” with a rap number that named-checked famous actresses like Angela Bassett, Viola Davis and Jamie Lee Curtis.
“You know what, you might be one of the few,” the West Side Story film reboot actress responded in a video of the interview, which was shared through TikTok on Saturday (Feb. 25). “I’ll take it, because you’re my people.”
The radio show host added, “It was a woman, singing and dancing, being magnificent, celebrating women onstage. Come on!” DeBose agreed, saying, “That’s what I wanted to do.”
“Honestly, it’s not like I’m like, ‘Hey BAFTA, let me in!’ They actually called me, believe it or not,” the actress-singer continued. “But that was the assignment. Like, ‘Come celebrate women,’ and I was like, ‘Absolutely!’ We did that and it was fun. Not gonna lie, I had a blast.”
DeBose went on to say that Elvis director Baz Luhrmann found her after the show and gave her positive feedback about the performance. She also noted that “gay Twitter seemed to like it, so that’s good. I’ll take it.”
But not all viewers enjoyed the musical medley. Following the performance, DeBose faced an avalanche of snarky criticism and memes on social media, which led to the star deactivating her Twitter account.
After the show, BAFTAs producer Nick Bullen came to DeBose’s defense. “I think it’s incredibly unfair, to be frank. I absolutely loved it,” Bullen told Variety. “Everybody I’ve spoken to who was in the room absolutely loved it. She’s a huge star, she was amazing.”
Another admirer of DeBose’s rap was Lizzo, who recreated the viral rap moment during a recent concert. DeBose caught wind of the TikTok video and reposted it on her Instagram page. “The internet is wild y’all!” the West Side Story star wrote. “Appreciate all the love.”
Watch a portion of DeBose’s BBC interview on TikTok below.
Lizzo did the thing. And “the thing,” of course, is the viral rap Ariana DeBose performed at the BAFTA Awards on Feb. 19, part of which the “About Damn Time” singer recreated at a recent concert.
In a Thursday night (Feb. 23) TikTok video from one of Lizzo’s recent shows, the four-time Grammy winner — looking radiant in a glittering leotard — talks to her audience onstage in between songs. “Let’s shake it off,” she says, before taking a stab at the line from DeBose’s rap that the internet is probably the most obsessed with: “Angela Bassett did the thing.”
Lizzo even did her own version of the shoulder shimmy the West Side Story film reboot actress did while performing at the BAFTAs, opening the awards show with an original rap in honor of some of the female nominees. “Angela Bassett did the thing/ Viola Davis my ‘Woman King’/ Blanchett Cate you’re a genius/ Jamie Lee you are all of us,” DeBose sang in a clip from the show that quickly set Twitter ablaze, as many of the actresses she mentioned stared blankly.
Like so many viral moments, it’s hard to pinpoint why exactly DeBose’s earnest number has been amplified and passed around as much as it has been by the internet in the past few days — evidenced by the loud cheers Lizzo received immediately after referencing it in concert — but between the clunky lyrics, campy dance moves and the camera cutting to Jamie Lee Curtis jamming out, one of the first iconic memes of 2023 was born. Some viewers’ responses to the Oscar winner’s performance were a little harsh, however, and DeBose has since deactivated her Twitter account.
People got so carried away, BAFTAs producer Nick Bullen later felt the need to come to DeBose’s defense. “I think it’s incredibly unfair, to be frank. I absolutely loved it,” Bullen told Variety after the show. “Everybody I’ve spoken to who was in the room absolutely loved it. She’s a huge star, she was amazing.”
