Paris Hilton is in her Icon era! Paris took over LA’s Hollywood Palladium and transformed the venue into all things Paris. And she gave Billboard exclusive access to her star-studded show! We take you inside with Billboard’s All Access!

Team Member:

“Literally her life story on stage. It’s life imitating art, art imitating life, brought to life in the most over-the-top, larger-than-life experience that only she can do.”

Tetris Kelly:

Fresh off the success of her sophomore album ‘Infinite Icon,’ Paris geared up for one of the biggest productions of her career. Billboard went backstage to capture what goes into a Paris Hilton show, including the larger-than-life production, rehearsals with her dancers and, of course, a photo op. Fans packed the Hollywood Palladium, decked out in pink, hit the lines to grab their merch and passed out samples of her new ICONIC fragrance. Then it was showtime! Paris opened the show with “Turn It Up.” She also performed hits like “I Want You,” “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” and “The Hot One.” Meghan Trainor made a surprise appearance for their collab “Chasin” and the two showed each other lots of love on stage. Paris also wowed the crowd with her newest hits, like “If the Earth is Spinning, “I’m Free” and the viral hit “Bad Bitch Academy.” Paris took the time to thank her fans for coming to the show, in classic Paris fashion. Many of Paris’ famous friends were in attendance, including Kim Kardashian and her ‘Simple Life’ co-star Nicole Richie, who shared their love on social media. Next, you can catch Paris when she hits the Jingle Ball stage on Dec. 6 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. That’s hot.

What’s her story? And how did she make her way to the top of the Billboard charts? This is Billboard Explains: Olivia Rodrigo’s Journey to the Top.

Born in Murrieta, Calif., Olivia Rodrigo began taking singing, acting and piano lessons as a kid. Olivia’s love for songwriting began young, after being inspired by country music. She picked up the guitar at 12 years old. She made her acting debut in the direct-to-video film An American Girl: Grace Stirs Up Success. Olivia moved to Los Angeles in 2015 after landing an acting role in Disney Channel’s Bizaardvark in 2016, playing the character Paige Olvera, for three seasons. In February 2019, she was cast in the starring role of Nini Salazar-Roberts in the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Thanks to the show, she made her Billboard chart debut with “Wondering” with Julia Lester. It debuted at No. 10 on the Kid Digital Song Sales chart in November 2019. Olivia also landed her first Billboard Hot 100 hit with “All I Want” from the Disney+ series, cracking the chart at No. 90 in January 2020.

Dascha Polanco on Meeting Bella Hadid at Fashion Week & More | Behind the Photo

Dascha Polanco shares a special look of her in the studio meeting Bella Hadid and more Behind the Photo with Billboard and Walmart.

Dascha Polanco:
Hi, I’m Dascha Polanco, and I’m here Behind the Photos with Billboard.

You guys went looking. You guys went deep in search for the photos. This photo you see here is in a studio in Atlanta with a friend of mine who is a producer, Aviani — she goes by PERFXN. And this is Xtassy, a well-known producer — may he rest in peace — he was also my partner. A lot of kisses but we were in a camp where they had female producers, female engineers, many women, women writers and it was created by an artist in Atlanta. And it was about three days. We invited women from all over the world to come to create music. It was a creative camp, directed by a female artist as well.

Look at me here in New York’s Hudson Yard at Christmas. Doing what I like … shop, spend money and buy lots of gifts. I don’t know who it was for, but it was only for one and it was me. It was for me.

This was Fashion Week this past September and I was with Bella Hadid. It was an event where she brought her horses, rode her horses and she invited me.

Zhamira Zhambrano Talks Finding Joy Through Her Music and Current Beauty Obsessions Presented By Ulta Beauty

Zhamira Zhambrano talks about how she finds beauty and joy through her music, as well as her favorite beauty trends while backstage at Billboard Latin Music Week.

Zhamira Zhambrano:

My glam session has a pretty mixed soundtrack. Sometimes I listen to my own unreleased songs because it’s a moment where I’m alone and can concentrate on what I have to fix for certain songs. I listen to my husband’s music. I listen to Morat. I listen to songs in English. I think if you ask me right now, Karol G. I really like her style lately in her performances. Beyond her style, I really like her self-confidence that she shows in front of the cameras because that’s how you can get to know her and I think she’s a person who always looks beautiful, elegant and who’s super confident in herself. I have always said that if you feel beautiful inside, that is what you will radiate outwards. In my case, I try to work on that a lot with myself and involve it in the studio. When I am creating, I am always thinking about how the person or in this case, the woman who listens to this will feel, or even the man, too, because men can also feel beautiful and powerful. I think that as long as you carry a message of positivity, in my personal case, that’s what I try to radiate in the studio through the music with beautiful and motivational words, healthy and clean messages that reach the heart. You will feel good.

Danna Talks Finding Joy Through Her Music & Her Glam Soundtrack

Danna talks about how she finds beauty and joy through her music, as well as her glam soundtrack backstage at Billboard Latin Music Week.

Danna:

A little bit of everything. It depends on the mood. Lately, we are listening to a striptease playlist because it’s like R&B, then suddenly a little bolero, to slow reggaeton, a little bit of jazz, like a combination of all these sexy sounds to bring out that femininity. How does my music help me find beauty and joy? To put it simply, it’s in the act of it. I believe that, for me, creating music and dedicating myself to this industry is a very spiritual act. So within spirituality, there is a lot of beauty. It’s the creation of something together with someone. The beauty of friendship, of finding a very unique and magical moment when creating something, I think it’s very special. And I think the beauty and joy after finishing it and listening to it and you hear my fans singing my songs and that song that was made with so much love, gives me everything. What’s my favorite move on the dance floor these days?

María Becerra Talks Finding Joy Through Music and a Beautiful Fan Interaction

María Becerra talks about how she finds beauty and joy through her music, as well as her most memorable fan interaction while backstage at Billboard Latin Music Week.

María Becerra:

Well, the few times we listen to music when we are doing glam, we like to start off with something with a little movement because usually the glam is in the morning, so we start the morning more upbeat with Argentine cumbia, Cumbia En Base, Santafesina cumbia, cuarteto or if not, Mexican cumbia, Columbian, but always a little cumbia to get us going. I feel that the simple fact of making music helps me to find beauty and joy in life. The truth is that I am lucky to be a woman who can make a living from what she loves, whose job is to express, to write her emotions as an open letter, and on top of that, to put it into music. I feel that this fact brings me joy and helps me to find beauty in life every day. This is something that has been around for a while, but the truth is that the “cat eye,” you see, the type of makeup or eyelash to make the eye look more dragged out, fascinated me from the moment I saw it and I love it. I like to do it, I like to have it done, that’s what I like the most.
