La Joaqui On Her Friendship With Cazzu | Behind the Photo | Billboard

La Joaqui goes ‘Behind the Photo’ and shares a cute moment of her friendship with Cazzu, what the process was like recording “TU PATRONA” and more!

La Joaqui:

Hi everyone, I’m Joaqui and I’m here with Billboard for the ‘Behind the Photo.’ What a look that day, sometimes I treat myself badly. I love this photo because I’m sure you didn’t even know it, but this is when Kenia Os flew me to Los Angeles. I didn’t even know Los Angeles. And in fact I was Kenini, a fan, and I wrote to her because I was her fan. And I told her, “I’m your fan and I’m tired of acting like a normal person.” And she said, “I love what you do.” The next day, instantly, she sent me a ticket to Los Angeles. She took me to see Los Angeles, she took me to eat at a beautiful place. We did a song that became a hit, that opened the door for me to this precious kingdom that she shared with me. It is too early to get emotional. I love this photo, too. These are the polaroids that Cassu took because she has Polaroids and analog photos of me since 2014. She loves to take pictures, it’s a little secret she keeps to herself. And this is one of the collections she gave me, which is us being mothers with all our babies. Beautiful. What a nice picture. This is Shei SHei, one of my best friends. On her birthday, we made her a surprise cowboy snack because we were creating “TU PATRONA,” we had to be in the mood.

A pair of debuts occupy 3 and 4: Gia Margaret’s “Hinoki Wood” lands at 3, while Nicki Minaj’s “Anaconda” debuts at 4, 10 years after its release, thanks to a Women in Male Fields trend. Another major gain on this week’s chart comes from The Marias. The song’s called “No One Noticed,” but we saw it bound from 39 to 6. And our final new track in the top 10 is NLE Choppa’s “Gang Baby,” which debuts at No. 9. Khalid:

I’ve never paid for sex a day in my life, ever.

Tetris Kelly:

Singer Khalid was outed online by an ex-boyfriend, and after embracing his sexuality in several posts, he’s addressing allegations made by the wannabe singer.

Khalid:

The last time that I talked to this guy was four years ago. This is all random. I don’t know why he did it. I don’t know what’s going on with him, you know. Mental health is real.

Tetris Kelly:

The since deleted tweets from Hugo Almonte, an OnlyFans model and singer contained allegations about an R&B star as well as a photo of Almonte with Khalid. “I was dating this dumb a** singer. He’s ugly as f*ck but he tried to set me up and lie and say I broke into his house because I broke up with him. B*tch a** lied and said that I broke into his house cause I didn’t want him.” And amidst so many allegations, Khalid is speaking out.

Khalid:

I’m gonna speak about the pink cocaine thing. I’ve never done cocaine a day in my life. I don’t place myself in those scenarios, I’m not in those surroundings. Let’s talk about this escorting thing. I’ve never paid for sex a day in my life, ever. I’ve never paid anybody to date me. I’ve never paid anybody to be in a relationship with me.

Tetris Kelly:

Hugo has stated: “My intentions was never to out someone who’s clearly been out in the community in Los Angeles. My intentions were to share my story and share how he tried to use his power to silence me.” Find the full story at Billboard.com.

Khalid

So I’m not going to run around like I’m unbothered. I never said I was unbothered about anything. This is very bothering.

Camila Fernández Plays ‘Finish the Lyrics’ | Billboard

Camila Fernández finishes the lyrics to some of her biggest hits, including “Pudimos Ser,” “Todo Todo” and more!

Camila Fernández:

Hello friends of Latin Billboard, I’m Camila Fernández and I’m going to ‘Finish the Lyrics’ of my song with Billboard.

Don’t forget that karma still exists.

And when you miss me/ Tell it to your pillow/ I know it hurts you so much.

Nobody governs me/ And the first one who dares/ Should leave/ The crying session is cancelled.

We left it to luck/ We ran out of time/ We could have been/ That happens to me for being discreet.

Thanks!

Dolly Parton exclusively tells Billboard how grateful she is for her fans’ endless support after being placed at No. 1 on Billboard’s 100 Greatest Country Artists of All Time list.

Dolly Parton:

Well, hey, there. It’s Dolly. And I just learned that Billboard magazine just released the list of Country Music’s Greatest Artists of All Time, and they have my name sitting at the top. Can you believe that? Now, when I was a little girl, I would sit around the radio, listening to the Grand Ole Opry and hearing all those great big stars like Hank Williams and Kitty Wells and Johnny Cash and I dreamed of what my life could actually become as well. I just want to say a great big thank you to the folks at Billboard, but most of all to you, the fans. I take none of this for granted. So thank you for giving me the opportunity to take my music all around the world and to see my dreams come true. Just know this from the bottom of my heart: I will always love you, and I’ll always be doing that country music.
