You got a lot to talk about your magnum opus. You released this album Black Mona Lisa.
Billy Porter:
Yeah.
Tetris Kelly:
Why did you refer to it as that and how was this project different?
Billy Porter:
You know, we were writing. I was in the writing process with Justin Tranter and his team, and you know, we probably ’bout six, eight months into the process — we had written a bunch of other stuff, and the themes and the tone were forming. I don’t remember where “Black Mona Lisa” came from, I just kind of say, it kind of fell out of the sky. And everybody in the room was like …
Tetris Kelly:
That works.
Billy Porter:
Did that just happen? Like there was like a, you know, like, time stood still for about a good 20 seconds, and then like, maybe even 30. And then 20 minutes later, the song was written. It’s referencing the original Mona Lisa. And that painting is relevant, always — past, present and future. And that’s my goal with my legacy.

Kelly Clarkson’s ex-husband Brandon Blackstock has been ordered to pay Kelly back $2.6 million. Kelly Clarkson has won a legal ruling that her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock owes her more than 2.6 million in commissions she paid to him for procuring business deals while he served as her manager. California’s labor commissioner ruled that Kelly’s ex procured several deals for Kelly that should have been handled by her talent agents at CAA, violating a California law that bans anyone other than licensed talent agents for procuring work for artists. Brandon must pay back commissions earned on four deals: over $1.9 million for Kelly’s role on The Voice, just north of $280,000 to promote Norwegian Cruise Lines, $450,000 to promote Wayfair, and $93 to host the Billboard Music Awards in 2018, 2019 and 2020. Kelly filed for divorce from Brandon in June 2020. The case was finalized in 2022, with the singer agreeing to pay $45,000 a month in child support for their two children plus a one-time payment of just over $1.3 million. Attorneys for both sides did not immediately return requests for comment.

Cher’s “DJ Play a Christmas Song” scores the singer a No. 1 on a Billboard chart in seven consecutive decades. Dang, that’s impressive. For seven straight decades, Cher has earned a new No. 1 on a Billboard songs chart. “DJ Play a Christmas Song” off the diva’s first holiday album ‘Christmas’ jingles up from No. 3 to No. 1 on the December 2nd-dated Dance Electronic Song Sales survey. Can we pause for a second? I can’t believe this is Cher’s first holiday album. Aren’t those like a rite of passage? The living legend now joins the only other acts, The Rolling Stones, to have at least one new No. 1 on a Billboard songs chart in each of the seven decades from the 1960s through the 2020s.

Mitski’s “My Love Mine All Mine” continues its reign at No. 1, while Mariah Carey’s Christmas classic breaks into the top three.
Mitski’s “My Love Mine All Mine” rules for a sixth week on the TikTok Billboard Top 50 chart posted Nov. 30. The song extends its standing as the longest running No. 1 since the chart’s inception in September. Lil Mabu and Chrisean Rock’s “Mr. Take Your B-tch” stays in the No. 2 spot for a third straight week, while Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” rises two spots to No. 3 as the holiday season is in full swing. Mariah also performed the song during the 2023 Billboard Music Awards.
Darell’s “Lollipop” comes in at No. 4, a new peak for the song thanks to dance challenges with Darell himself getting in on the action. And rounding out the top five is JID’s “Surround Sound” featuring 21 Savage and Baby Tate, thanks to another dance trend making the rounds on the app.

One, my air fryer honey walnut shrimp. What I love about it is it takes the cheat off when you’re putting it in an air fryer. I also have my mozzarella stuffed turkey meatloaf with barbecue sauce. Oh my god, he talking about wholesome and something that I just satisfy the tastebuds come for food. This is it for you.
Another one is my air fryer pizza, using my Goon With The Spoon sausages. Whether it’s my teriyaki chicken, pineapple sausages, or my mild beef or hot beef, or my chicken Philly cheesesteak sausages.
Also, I’m the owner of a company called the Lumpia Company. I’m co-owner, and you know we have bacon cheeseburger lumpia. If you ain’t never tried bacon cheeseburger lumpias, yeah, gotta try it. Turkey sausage Scotch eggs. Take the cheat off by using turkey sausage instead of pork sausage. If you’ve never had Scotch eggs, you gotta try.
