Looks like Reneé Rapp is no longer single! The “Tummy Hurts” singer attended the annual Vanity Fair Oscars Party on Sunday night (March 10) alongside Towa Bird, a fellow musician who spent the past few months touring with Rapp as a supporting act on the latter’s Snow Hard Feelings Tour. According to People, the two […]
From comparing his acting skills to that of Lady Gaga and Cher to trolling Kelly Clarkson, Troye Sivan got a lot of things off his chest during his lie detector test with Vanity Fair on Wednesday (Aug. 16).
At the start of his test, which only detected a small number of lies from the Australian pop star, Sivan revealed that a friend is currently dating his celebrity crush, chef and recipe developer Pierce Abernathy. “I think he knows, though,” he quipped.
In classic pop star fashion, Sivan had plenty to say about his fellow musical artists. In April, Sivan posted a TikTok video reacting to Kelly Clarkson’s “Mine,” asking his fans, “What did I do to upset Kelly Clarkson?” He cited lyrics which he misinterpreted as, “Troye Sivan / Who the hell do you think you are?” instead of “Sabotage, your choice of art.” The fictional feud resulted in the pair making nice on Clarkson’s Emmy-winning talk show, and Sivan confirmed that he “did know that” Clarkson was not singing his name, he “just thought it was funny.” When questioned if he enjoyed trolling, Sivan responded, “I do, yeah. That’s one place I really like to lie.”
In addition to conquering the pop music scene with “Rush” this year, Sivan also showed off his acting chops again on the Weeknd-led HBO drama The Idol. When asked if he considers himself a better actor than Lady Gaga, Sivan emphatically said, “No… I think she’s better than me for sure.” When asked the same question about Cher, Sivan confessed “I don’t think I have actually seen a movie with Cher in it,” but not before asking whether or not the Oscar-winning Moonstruck actress appeared in Mamma Mia. “I’ve seen, like, two movies, just in general,” he joked.
Elsewhere in the video, the singer, who has a love for interior design, also shared that “doesn’t like” Drake’s mansion, and that he is “sorry to [that] man,” a sly reference to Keke Palmer’s viral Vanity Fair lie detector test from 2019. He named Ariana Grande as “up there” in his personal ranking of his favorite female pop stars with whom he has collaborated.
Sivan also reflected on the time he appeared in one of the campaigns for Beyoncé’s Ivy Park x Adidas athleisure line. Memory lane soon brought him to a discussion surrounding Queen Bey’s record-breaking Renaissance World Tour. “I would love to go to her Renaissance tour, I’m trying. Her birthday show [Sept. 4] is in L.A., so I wanna go to that,” he said. One of the many viral moments from the Renaissance World Tour has been the “Everybody On Mute” challenge that spawned from the namesake lyric in Beyoncé’s BEAM-assisted “Energy.” Sivan expressed his frustration with those who can’t seem to grasp the “mute” part of the challenge, saying, “People go quiet, and then they clap that everyone went quiet, and I’m like ‘You ruined it.’”

After the Oscars, A-list music stars came out in droves for the famous Vanity Fair Oscar party on Sunday night (March 12).
Couples like Offset and Cardi B, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner and Rita Ora and Taika Waititi all turned heads while hand-in-hand on the Vanity Fair carpet, while Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo were all smiles making one of their first public appearances as a couple following the Maroon 5 rocker’s recent texting scandal at the tail end of 2022.
The annual fête is also another chance for famous faces to turn the fashion up to 100 in the wake of the Oscars champagne carpet, and this year was no exception. Olivia Rodrigo served all the Y2K fantasy in a chic leopard-print gown by Valentino and Sabrina Carpenter stunned in a sheer illusion gown by Paco Rabanne with strategically placed appliqués adding to the high-fashion moment. Billie Eilish, on the other hand, opted for voluminous glamour in an all-black goth-inspired ensemble as she walked the carpet with boyfriend Jesse Rutherford of The Neighborhood.
In a night dominated by neutrals, Saweetie bucked the trend by donning a bright green, high-low ball gown with a dramatic capelet covering her shoulders. Chloe x Halle also reunited for the party after the latter premiered a new look at her upcoming live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid during the Oscars telecast with co-star Melissa McCarthy.
The menswear at the Vanity Fair bash didn’t disappoint either, whether it was Ricky Martin serving dashing old Hollywood glamour with a twist thanks to his tuxedo’s oversized lapels or a newly blond-ish Troye Sivan arriving in a Matrix-esque leather bodysuit and matching belt.

Another year has come and gone, but Billie Eilish is still answering the same questions. For the sixth year in a row, the pop sensation sat down for her annual interview with Vanity Fair.
This year, the black-haired 20-year-old superstar said her biggest accomplishments were that she “finally got to tour again,” including dual headlining sets at Coachella 2022 and Glastonbury, the completion of Happier Than Ever, The World Tour and, oh, you know, winning an Academy Award for her James Bond theme song “No Time to Die.”
“The most important thing to me now is being in touch with myself…and how I am actually, really feeling,” Eilish said after taking a beat to reflect. “And listening to my gut. Trusting my gut. My family being good and healthy and happy, and my relationship being really solid with them. That’s what’s important to me.”
When the topic of her older brother FINNEAS came up, the “TV” singer teased quite a major revelation, admitting, “We see each other all the time, and also now, we’re starting to make music again. We just started the process of making an album, which is really exciting…I’m hanging out with my brother a lot. He’s my buddy!”
In a bit of a twist, Eilish also turned part of the interview over to her fans via Instagram, answering questions about her least favorite song in her discography (2017’s “Watch”) and how many songs she’s working on (“one, currently”).
Thanks to one of the annual questions being about whether she has a boyfriend, the star also spilled a bit of tea about her relationship with The Neighbourhood’s Jesse Rutherford. “Yeah, I do,” she said with a shy grin. “And it’s really cool and I’m really excited and I’m really happy about it.
“I managed to get my life to a point where I not only was known by a person that I thought was the hottest f—ing f—er alive,” Eilish continued to gush about the frontman, “but pulled his ass. Are we kidding me? Can we just [claps] round of applause for me? Thank you! Jesse Rutherford, everyone.”
