When asked by producers when it […]

Ariana Madix is taking over the reality television world, as the Vanderpump Rules star has just begun her journey on Dancing With the Stars. The star joined Billboard‘s Tetris Kelly on the DWTS stage alongside her dance partner Pasha Pashkov to reveal what she’s looking forward to in the upcoming season. When asked what pop […]
Scandoval continues to live on. Vanderpump Rules favorite Scheana Shay released a new song called “Apples” on Friday (Aug. 18), and based on the scathing lyrics, it seems like she got inspiration from her friendship breakups after Tom Sandoval cheated on his longtime girlfriend Ariana Madix with her best friend, Raquel Leviss. For “Apples,” Scheana teamed […]
Stars, they’re just like us! During one of the shows for her Weekends With Adele Las Vegas residency, Adele took some time to banter with fans and get some answers to her burning questions about Vanderpump Rules.
When the name “Vanderpump” came up, Adele said, “The other day my friend was like, ‘No, they really do restaurants or something.’ So is it related to the TV show, and what does the guy do that cheated?”
For some context, this past March, fans learned about the “Scandoval”: Tom Sandoval, one of the show’s original stars, had been cheating on Ariana Madix, his girlfriend of nine years and a Vanderpump Rules fan favorite, with their castmate and close friend Raquel Leviss. The revelation took social media by storm and resulted in fans choosing sides, with the hashtag #TeamAriana gaining a lot of passionate traction.
After a fan admitted that they weren’t too familiar with the details of the scandal, Adele responded, “Me neither, I’ve got no idea. Does anyone know anything about that Vanderpump stuff?” she said, looking around the crowd. Luckily, the singer was able to find one concert attendee that could fill her in on all of the hot juicy gossip. In response to the Grammy winner’s initial question of who Tom Sandoval is, the fan replied, “He’s trash. He tries to sing, but he’s no Adele… he’s on the TV show pretending to be a server, he wants to be an entertainer now, but…”
Adele caught on to the fan’s shade and quipped about how “everyone in L.A.” wants to be an entertainer. The “Hello” singer even joked about the time someone tried to slip her demo while she was going out to eat.
Adele may not be a regular Vanderpump Rules viewer, but at least she got some of her questions about the show’s monthslong controversies answered.

Maren Morris put her Bravoholic card on proud display Friday (May 19) by coming up with a hilarious song inspired by the Vanderpump Rules Scandoval.
In case you don’t know about the scandal that’s rocked the Bravoverse for the past few months, here’s a crash course: Back in February, OG cast member Tom Sandoval was caught cheating on Ariana Madix, his partner of nine years, with one of her best friends, Raquel Leviss. Except it wasn’t just cheating — it was a full-blown seven-month affair that took place under everyone’s noses, all while cameras were rolling throughout the Bravo hit’s tenth season.
By the time the Scandoval exploded into national news, filming had long since wrapped on the former SURvers’ lives, prompting Bravo to add an extra episode to the season to document the radioactive fallout. Naturally, there was a plethora of red-hot questions to be answered, including how long Tom Schwartz — Tom Sandoval’s longtime bestie and business partner — knew about the affair with Leviss, and whether he was covering up for his pal by making out with Raquel for a storyline. (Yes, it’s a complicated web the SURvers weave …)
When pressed for answers by his estranged wife Katie Maloney on the Wednesday (May 17) season finale, Schwartz deflected with a bizarre tangent about, among other things, man-eating crocodiles, to which Maloney unsympathetically deadpanned, “You sound like a country song.”
Morris seemed to agree, and decided to put Schwartz’s stream of consciousness to music in a truly inspired TikTok video. “My health, my wealth, my family/ There’s f–kin’ man-eating Nile crocodiles in Florida now,” she sings over peppy acoustic guitar, quoting Schwartz word for word using a clip of the scene. (“Theres a song for everything,” she captioned the hysterical ditty, also writing, “He’s a poet” in the comments.)
Maloney certainly appreciated Morris’ musical acumen, hopping into the comments on TikTok to write, “I’m deceased” with a series of skull and laughing emojis. “But you SNAPPED,” the singer replied, punctuating her thought with a funny crocodile emoji.
The ladies of Vanderpump Rules are also capitalizing on the Scandoval with their own music. Earlier this week, Madix and her co-stars Lala Kent and Scheana Shay starred in a new ad spot for Uber One that used an amusing remix of the latter’s 2013 dance-pop single “Good as Gold.”
Watch Morris lampoon Schwartz’s concerns over man-eating Florida crocodiles in song below.
It’s not about the pasta, but it is about Raquel! James Kennedy compared the ongoing drama from Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules to one of Taylor Swift’s signature moves in a social media post on Wednesday night (March 8).
“It’s safe to say that this season of Vanderpump Rules has turned into a Taylor Swift album,” the DJ told his nearly 600,000 Instagram followers in a hilarious Story. “There’s easter eggs left and right, you’ve got to come find your easter eggs! You know, or should we start a sticker album book everyone can put their little stickers in? ‘Oh, found another one, found another easter egg.’”
Easter eggs, as Swifties know, are something that the pop superstar likes to leave for her eagle-eyed fans to discover in many of her projects. The hidden clues have been found in her music videos, TikTok clips, carefully chosen outfits and more.
Kennedy isn’t wrong about the easter eggs on the show: Watching back the current season of the reality hit certainly became a whole different experience for Bravoholics in the wake of the cheating bombshell that ripped through the Bravoverse on March 3. In case you’re somehow not caught up on the gossip, that’s the day news came that Tom Sandoval, one of the show’s original stars, had been cheating on Ariana Madix, his girlfriend of nine years and a perennial fan favorite, with their castmate and close friend Raquel Leviss — who just so happens to be Kennedy’s ex-fiancée — allegedly for the past seven or so months. (Both Sandoval and Leviss have since issued apologies for hurting Madix.)
As that stunning revelation set SUR, TomTom, Schwartz & Sandy’s, Los Angeles’ Valley Village and the entirety of the Bravo-related social media ecosystem ablaze, the network scrambled to put the show back into production to capture the fallout — all as PR-crafted apologies were released by Sandoval and Leviss, long-gone cast members came out of the woodwork to offer their hot takes on the drama (Hi, Kristen Doute!), restraining orders were filed and more.
While the exact timeline of the affair has yet to be fully verified, Leviss (whose real name is Rachel) has already found herself in hot water on screen for setting her sights on the other Tom in the group, Tom Schwartz, who’s not-even-quite divorced yet from his wife of five years, Katie Maloney. (Accused of being a “home-wrecker” on the show for openly admitting to Maloney on a recent episode that she was considering hooking up with Katie’s soon-to-be-ex-husband, Leviss simply asked, “How am I a home-wrecker? There is no home to wreck.”)
And in case you thought the twisted #Scandoval couldn’t possibly get any more diabolical, fans have now started questioning whether Raquel’s professed interest in Schwartz was all just a cover-up for the sordid affair happening behind closed doors between her and Sandoval. Coachella is involved; trust me, it’s a whole thing …
Now that you’ve gotten a crash course on all the Pump Rules drama, raise your glass, put on a #TeamAriana shirt and check out DJ James Kennedy’s hilarious Instagram Story below.
Vanderpump Rules has focused largely on the drama-filled lives of Lisa Vanderpump’s employees since its debut on Bravo in 2013. But while these glamorous SUR-vice workers might be slinging drinks and bringing you fried goat cheese balls in between screaming matches and drunken rage texts, they’ve also been dishing up some mind-boggling but always entertaining musical moments.
It makes sense, if you think about it. Several members of the cast — including Scheana Shay and James Kennedy, for example — are in Los Angeles not just for modeling and acting jobs, but also to try to make it in the music industry. She’s “Good as Gold” as a singer (as far as she’s concerned), and he’s a relatively successful DJ with his “See You Next Tuesday” gigs at Sur.
And who can forget Tom Sandoval’s band Charles McMansion and its unforgettable (and somewhat naughty and 100 percent catchy “T.I.P” – that’s “Touch in Public”)? There’s also his newer project, Tom Sandoval and the Most Extras (the members of whom he pays just to attend band practice, as he revealed in season 10), which the reality star and TomTom partner has taken on the road while trying to launch his and best bud Tom Schwartz’s lounge, Schwartz and Sandy’s.
Yes, many of the cast’s musical endeavors – some fun, some great just to give viewers laughs — have fortunately been captured on camera over the seasons for posterity. From their music videos to live performances, here are the moments on the reality TV hit that we’re always happy to revisit.
Scheana Takes the Stage
Season one, episode five
Scheana’s first live performance at The Roxy in L.A. was … awkward. From the moment she came out on stage to sing “What I Like,” the aspiring singer was a bit stiff, then tried too hard to be sexy with her gyrations. Frenemy Stassi Schroeder even joked as she watched the performance, “I knew I should’ve been a hooker!”
Bonus: Eagle eyes may have spotted a familiar blonde providing backup vocals and dance moves on stage. It was none other than Ariana Madix, who was a recurring player in season two before becoming a main castmember — and Tom Sandoval’s girlfriend — in season three.

Season two, episode 14
At Scheana and now ex-husband Mike Shay’s engagement party, the SURver decided to put the spotlight on herself. She (very unsanitarily) hopped up on the bar in beyond skin-tight gold shorts and a white tank top to sing her song “Good As Gold.”
“She’s not going to waste an opportunity with an audience to debut her single,” pal Katie Maloney astutely pointed out. (Note: This would not be the only time that Scheana would perform the song on VPR.)
Meet Charles McMansion

Season four, episode 19
Sandoval, ever the overachiever, filmed a music video for his band Charles McMansion’s first single, the infectiously catchy “T.I.P” (that’s “Touch in Public”). The bartender-model-actor turned business owner revealed during the episode that he — as usual — went over the top with his project, spending probably more than $10,000 on the well-produced video that also features girlfriend Ariana and their costar Lala Kent, who was not yet a regular in season four.
This Kinda Blows

Season six, episode five
Lala and James were back in the studio recording a new tune, and they invited Sandoval to add a little something extra with his trumpet. Unfortunately, it was not exactly the sexy vibe the duo had hoped for. As he was in the recording booth, Lala grimaced, while James just looked stunned.
Later, Lala described the … uhh … less than dulcet tones best in her confessional: “Sandoval’s trumpet playing reminds me of being in a pack of baby dolphins just learning to communicate for the first time.”
Cut!
Season six, episode 13
Lala was feeling a bit shady while telling James how her recording session went. It turns out that Lala had Scheana record some vocals for her since the two use the same studio, and to say the former SUR hostess was less than impressed would be putting it mildly. As Lala first told James, “Obviously, I’m going to cut her part.” She then said in her confessional, “I love Scheana with all my heart, but the girl is tone deaf!” (Scheana later fired back on Watch What Happens Live, calling Lala a crappy lyricist.)

All Eyes on Lala

Season six, episode 20
Lala showed the gang how it’s done when she performed “Boy” during her music showcase. She was confident, had a good groove, and thoroughly entertained the crowd — even Scheana. “I love watching Lala on stage. Don’t wanna say jealous, but it makes me want to get back in the recording studio,” the waitress confessed.
Oh, He Went There
Season seven, episode one
Never one to have much of a filter — especially when drunk — DJ James Kennedy aired some very dirty laundry while spinning for his SUR night, See You Next Tuesday. During his set, the self-proclaimed White Kanye decided to show off his freestylin’ skills and rapped, “I just got rich/ I may cop a black Wraith/ Everybody remember when Jax f–ked Faith?”
Cue the screeching turntable, because that little line — which was dropped while the now sober James was standing next to Brittany Cartwright — reminded the world of Jax Taylor’s infidelity while he was dating the Southern belle who is now his wife, and kicked off a whole new season of drama.
In the Closet
Season seven, episode nine
While most people were furious with him, James still had the support of the Toms — Sandoval and Schwartz — who invited him to DJ the Daily Mail party at the almost-but-not-quite-ready TomTom. The day of the event, there was no AC and the DJ booth was still not ready, so James had to spin his tunes from a windowless closet while sitting on packages of toilet paper.
An Unexpected Instrument
Season seven, episode 18

After waking up on the final day of their Mexican getaway, Schwartz recalled some of the shenanigans the gang indulged in the night before. Not surprisingly, their habit of doing a few too many tequila shots led to some eyebrow-raising antics, including Sandoval playing a penis flute and Schwartz being accosted with said instrument.
The clip was so hilarious that even Rihanna couldn’t help but laugh, captioning the video on her Instagram, “easily the best clip on tv.” (In the following week’s episode, Sandoval was once again playing a penis flute when James came by for a visit.)
“One More Time”? Maybe Not …
Season eight, episode 18
Scheana enlisted new SURver Brett Caprioni to play the hunk in the music video for her new tune “One More Time,” about … well … doing it one more time. It turns out that the super steamy scenes which had him smacking the aspiring singer’s behind and her sticking her tongue in his ear — among other intimate acts — made him feel “violated,” as he put it. Scheana’s response? “It’s called acting, Brett.”
