TV songs was the theme for Wednesday night’s (March 27) episode of Fox’s celebrity singing contest, which saw Clock (“Good Times”), Lizard (“Scooby Doo, Where Are You?”), Poodle Moth (“Unwritten” from The Hills), and the big cat ( “Love and Marriage” from Married With Children) belt out the small screen hits.
Lizard, for the second consecutive week, and Sir Lion accumulated the lowest votes on the night, and faced off for their future on the show.

The Lizard lives on, the Bridgerton-channeling Sir Lion is out. Under the feline mask was Billy Bush, the radio and TV personality, host of Fox’s Extra, who became the subject of international news when, during the 2016 presidential campaign, video resurfaced of him and Donald Trump engaged in a crude conversation.

“I am not a great singer,” he said during his exit interview with The Masked Singer host Nick Cannon. “If you can’t get them with the lips, get them with the hips. I like to distract a little bit.”
For viewers back home, Bush had some advice: Tackle your fears (The Masked Singer being his). “If you’ve ever done something that’s a little on the scary side — like, this is scary. I’m shaking back there — say ‘yes’. Do it. I had a ball.”
Bush as Sir Lion follows the exit of Joe Bastianich (as Spaghetti & Meatballs), Savannah Chrisley (as Afghan Hound) and Kevin Hart (as Book) in this 11th season of Fox’s quirky singing competition.
Cannon returns as host of The Masked Singer, which features the returning judges Robin Thicke, McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong and newbie Rita Ora, who is filling in for Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger, who had a stint on London West End performing in Sunset Boulevard.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is prepping to kick off the first-ever season as co-founder of the United Football League. The American minor football league was formerly separated into the XFL and USFL until the two merged at the end of 2023. The UFL will commence its 2024 spring season on Saturday (March 30) and there are a few streaming options that will let you livestream the game at home without cable.
While the NFL season may be over, the next 10 weeks will provide football fans with more content. Eight teams will face off against one another until the Conference Championship games on June 6-June 9 that will determine the two teams headed to the 2024 UFL Championship on June 16.

What Teams Are In the 2024 UFL?
Competing in the 2024 season will be eight teams: the Birmingham Stallions, Arlington Renegades, St. Louis Battlehawks, Michigan Panthers, D.C. Defenders, San Antonio Brahmas, Memphis Showboats and Houston Roughnecks.
Each game will be broadcast on either Fox, FS1, ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

Noah Kahan brought a little Vermont to Sesame Street during a recent visit, as shared by the iconic children’s show in an adorable post on Wednesday (March 27).
The long-running series uploaded a sweet video of Kahan hanging out with Elmo, as well as Tango the dog, on set. He also met a new character named Stick — who is, naturally, a stick-shaped Muppet.
“Everyone’s always talking about leaves, leaves, leaves, but now, sticks have finally made it!” Stick says, thanking the singer-songwriter for celebrating his kind on the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hit “Stick Season.”
At one point, the New England native sings a snippet of the track, adding a twist. “Love Sesame, but it’s the season of the sticks,” he belts, making Elmo cheer.

Kahan’s visit to the home of Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch follows Mean Girls star Reneé Rapp posting about meeting Elmo on the Sesame Street stoop last week. According to a release, the “Dial Drunk” artist will be featured in an episode of the show’s 55th season, which will air in the fall.
Posting a photo with Elmo, as well as a snap featuring Cookie Monster, Kahan described shooting his Sesame Street cameo as “one of the best days of my life.” “Kicking it with some old New York friends,” he added in his caption.
“Elmo loves you, Mr. Noah!” the fuzzy red monster commented. “Please come visit Sesame Street again soon!”
Kahan recently earned his highest Billboard 200 peak with his 2022 album Stick Season, which reached No. 2 on the chart last week — almost a year and a half after it was originally released. The project’s trajectory was elevated by the releases of deluxe editions in 2023 and earlier this year, featuring collaborations with Hozier, Post Malone, Gracie Abrams and more.
In February, both Kahan and Abrams were in the running for best new artist at the 2024 Grammys, where Victoria Monét ended up winning the category.

What does Olivia Rodrigo‘s Guts World Tour have in common with movie theaters? Allow her to show you — with a little help from Nicole Kidman.
The 21-year-old pop star hilariously re-created Kidman’s viral AMC Theaters speech — a dramatic video of which plays onscreen before each showing at the company’s locations across the United States — in a TikTok video posted Tuesday. “We come to this place … for magic,” Rodrigo mouths along to a recording of the actress’ monologue in the clip, which finds her wandering around the latest venue to host her Guts trek: Centre Bell Arena in Quebec.
“We come to AMC Theaters to laugh, to cry, to care,” she continues, testing out different seats in the arena and taking bites from an enormous bag of popcorn.
Meanwhile, the “Drivers License” singer’s touring crew diligently puts together her stage in the background. “That indescribable feeling we get when the lights begin to dim,” she adds, modeling a tank top with Kidman’s opening line printed across the chest. “We go somewhere we’ve never been before — not just entertained, but somehow reborn. Together.”

Rodrigo is just the latest to pay tribute to the Moulin Rouge star’s AMC campaign, which has inspired many memes and re-creations (see Saturday Night Live‘s take here) since launching in 2021. Keith Urban, who is married to Kidman, opened up in a November appearance on Criss Angel’s Talking Junkies podcast how the ad came to be.
“She did it because she loves movies, we love movies,” he explained. “And it was hard times for the theaters. So AMC asked her if she’d do an AMC commercial, and it was a no-brainer for her to be a part of that … Never in a million years [was she] expecting that to be this cultural thing.”
In February, AMC announced plans to execute three new promo videos starring Kidman.
Rodrigo’s video comes less than a week after she dropped the new deluxe edition of her sophomore album Guts, which first arrived in September and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The revamped project includes five previously unreleased tracks: “Obsessed,” “Girl I’ve Always Been,” “Scared of My Guitar,” “Stranger” and “So American.”
In another recent TikTok clip, the former Disney star performed the latter song — which is rumored to be inspired by Louis Partridge — on acoustic guitar. “He laughs at all my jokes and he says I’m so American,” she sings, seemingly in a hotel room on the road. “Oh God, it’s just not fair of him to make me feel this much.”

J-Hope is ready to dance. The BTS singer’s heavily anticipated docuseries, Hope on the Street, premieres on Prime Video on Wednesday (March 27).
The six-part series highlights the K-pop star’s love of dance and explores the art form in different cities around the globe, including New York, Paris, Osaka, Seoul and J-Hope’s hometown of Gwangju, South Korea.

“I used to love dancing so much, but I had forgotten all about it,” J-Hope says in the docuseries filmed before he started mandatory military service last year.
“I’m about to start my military service, so it was a chance for me to look back on my life,” he explains. “What did I like in the past? What was my mindset when I debuted? And what is it that made me who I am today? I kept asking myself those questions and in the end the answer was ‘dance.’”
The docuseries comes ahead of J-Hope’s upcoming mini-album Hope on the Street Vol. 1 due on March 29 at midnight ET. The six-track EP, described as a “diverse array of sounds and moods” showcasing his “musical prowess and depth,” will feature guest appearances from Jung Kook, Benny Blanco and Nile Rodgers.

According to Deadline, Fran Drescher will also be reprising her role as publicist Bobbi Flekman. The cast is additionally set to include Don Lake, John Michael Higgins, Jason Acuña, Nina Conti, Griffin Matthews, Kerry Godliman, Chris Addison, Brad Williams and Paul Shaffer — though their roles, in addition to Smith and Ulrich’s, have not yet been confirmed.
Production for the Rob Reiner-directed is currently underway with original stars/writers Christopher Guest (Nigel Tufnel), Michael McKean (David St. Hubbins) and Harry Shearer (Derek Smalls) reprising their roles as the hapless metal band who once lost a drummer in a “bizarre gardening accident.”

The original film — in which most of the dialogue was improvised — follows the rockers on a 1982 U.S. tour to promote their Smell the Glove album. Though the film did modest box office at the time, it has since blossomed into a must-see with a cult following, even making it onto the Library of Congress’ list of culturally significant artifacts.
Reiner is also set to return to the screen to revisit his role as documentarian Martin “Marty” Di Bergi. In an interview with Deadline last year, the director hinted at the sequel. “I can tell you hardly a day goes by without someone saying, ‘why don’t you do another one?,’” Reiner said of the idea to revisit the film for its 40th anniversary. “For so many years, we said, ‘nah.’ It wasn’t until we came up with the right idea how to do this. You don’t want to just do it, to do it. You want to honor the first one and push it a little further with the story.”
At the time, Reiner said the second Tap would follow the band after a long break. “They’ve played Albert Hall, played Wembley Stadium, all over the country and in Europe,” Reiner said. “They haven’t spent any time together recently, and that became the premise. The idea was that Ian Faith, who was their manager, he passed away. In reality, [actor] Tony Hendra passed away. Ian’s widow inherited a contract that said Spinal Tap owed them one more concert. She was basically going to sue them if they didn’t. All these years and a lot of bad blood we’ll get into and they’re thrown back together and forced to deal with each other and play this concert.”
