Travis Scott is one of the most interesting musical acts to emerge in years and his body of work captures not only his creativity but also his sense of style. In a new interview, the Houston star discusses his career goals after music, his influence on the culture, and much more.
Travis Scott, 32, sat down with PIN-UP magazine, a publication that covers architecture and design. In the piece, Scott discusses a number of design principles using the alphabet. In the images, Scott renders his body to the corresponding letter and offers an insightful blurb under each post.

From PIN-UP:
ARCHITECTURE

Architecture is my true passion. I plan to apply to the architecture program at Harvard GSD when I’m done with music, which won’t be for a while. It would be dope to do both at the same time.
Further in the piece, Scott riffed on what it means to be an influential figure and the responsibility that comes with it.
“Making an impact is fun. But sometimes people also flip the question on you in weird ways. There are people who don’t understand why you’re influential, and it can become an issue. The person who had the greatest impact on me and my taste level was Virgil. He was a true inspiration,” Scott shared.
More of these gems are sprinkled through the piece, which certainly drums up anticipation for his upcoming album, Utopia. It will be the fourth studio album for Travis Scott, following 2018’s acclaimed Astroworld album.

Travis Scott is not taking any chances with his new project. His security guard has been spotted handcuffed to a briefcase containing his new album.

As per on HipHopDX the Houston, Texas rapper has been in the studio working on his new LP. On Thursday, May 18 TMZ spotted him leaving a vinyl record store in Hollywood, California. While walking to his car he is seen being protected by an unidentified man bearing a fair resemblance to wrestler Stone Cold Steve Austin. The man’s wrist was noticeably handcuffed to a brown leather briefcase bearing the name of Cactus Jack’s upcoming album Utopia.

While it is uncertain if the security detail is really responsible for safekeeping of the album, Travis Scott was also wearing some never seen before Nike’s also featuring Utopia branding. Thus, many music insiders claim this is all a clever ploy to tease his forthcoming fourth album. Back in February Epic Records CEO Sylvia Rhone was interviewed by Billboard Magazine and revealed that Travis Scott’s new album is indeed slotted for a June 2023 release. Additionally, producer Mike Dean recently shared a screenshot of a mixing session for the album. He later removed the photo from his social handles.
Travis Scott fans have been waiting for new music for close to four years. La Flame’s last album Astroworld was released on August 3, 2018. This effort spawned multiple hit songs including “Butterfly Effect”, “SICKO MODE”, and “Star Gazing”. It has since sold over three million units.

Travis Scott has one less problem to worry about. The Texas rapper has settled his recent case where he apparently raised hell at a nightclub.

As spotted on TMZ the Houston, Texas native has cashed out on a looming legal issue. The celebrity gossip outlet reports that last week he settled his dispute with the staff at Nebula in New York City. Back on March 1 he and his crew were performing a surprise set at the hot spot but were not doing the best job with the audio. Their resident engineer says he went to the rapper and suggested he lower the volume so the sound could be better heard during the performance.

The man, who will only identify himself as Mark, spoke to FOX 5 and gave his side on what occurred. “I was trying to tell him to lower it so it sounded good for the performance,” he explained. “But he just stuck his middle finger in my face, so I lowered the monitor a little bit so I could talk to him, and that’s when he ran around the speaker and attacked me.” He went on to say that the volume was so high “it was distorting the sound system.”
TMZ claims a source with “direct knowledge” of the situation says that Cactus Jack has settled the issue with the venue and “Mr. Mark”. It is unclear how much he had to pay but it should be noted that he also damaged some audio equipment which is estimated to be worth at least $12,000.00. The New York Police Department has confirmed this is still an open case but did admit that the victim has stopped cooperating.
Travis Scott has not commented on the matter.

Once again it’s on!

It’s that time of the year for sneakerheads when they get amped up for a limited edition Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 that will end up getting backdoored, botted and bootlegged like there’s no tomorrow. For months rumors have been swirling that the “Olive” colorway to the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low would be dropping sometime this year. Now, Sneakernews is reporting that the coveted colorway of the backward-swoosh silhouette will be hitting the streets next month.

Official images of the next pair of grails hit the internet yesterday, and these joints are a beaut. Many sneaker aficionados will surely try to add to their collection. (Good luck.) While the colorway alone is enough to have hypebeasts drooling, the devil truly lies in the details.

Related Stories

Much to the liking of the hip-hop multi-hyphenate, the silhouette boasts its typical assortment of premium embellishments, dipping its tumbled leather overlays in “Sail” while sitting atop contrasting charcoal-treated suedes. In keeping with his already expansive collaborative catalog, Cactus Jack motifs litter the insoles and upper tongue while pairing with the Jumpman logo on the heel in a vibrant swatch of red. Color matching the latter within the tongue tabs branding, “Olive” tinted Swooshes coordinate with the tread underfoot for a tasteful accent while the aged aesthetic applied to the midsole ties up the fifth AJ 1 Low collaboration to hit retail.
Needless to say, these will be releasing via raffle (i.e. L’s for any and everyone that doesn’t have a plug or isn’t a bot). If history has taught us anything, quantities will be limited to around 100,000 pairs (if that). That may sound like a lot but given that there’s tens of millions of sneakerheads around the world, that’s like a grain of sand in the desert as far as we’re concerned.
Also one would have to take into account that these are rumored to be the very last Travis Scott Air Jordan 1’s that will be releasing. Scott will be focusing on making the Air Jordan 3’s and 7’s his next hit remixes. That’s just going to make these 1’s that much hotter of a commodity out in these streets.
The Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 “Olive” is set to release April 26 in women and kids sizes. Will you be trying to land a pair? We know we will. Sound off in the comments section below.

Travis Scott‘s recent trip to New York City is becoming memorable for all the wrong reasons. After being accused of putting hands on a soundman at a New York City club, the rapper is also being accused of tossing another man’s phone just before the aforementioned incident.

As previously reported, Scott allegedly assaulted a sound engineer at Club Nebula and is also being accused of causing $12,000 in damages. Reportedly, Scott has been working with police as they investigate what actually happened.

But the latest revelation is that just prior to putting hands on the soundman, Scott chucked a man’s phone who committed the faus pax of filming him.
Reports TMZ Hip Hop:
In video obtained by TMZ, you can see Travis behind the DJ booth at Nebula in NYC as he performed a surprise DJ set. Already agitated, it appears Travis doesn’t appreciate a man with a cell phone filming while he spins.
That’s when Travis snatches the phone — the video is murky at that point, but the phone’s owner tells us Travis tossed it — striking him in the head and cracking his screen.
The man tells us reps for Nebula offered his table a free bottle of booze for his troubles, but he turned it down. However, he tells us he’s lawyered up — with plans to file both a police report and civil lawsuit.
The NYPD is investigating the incident with the sound engineer as possible assault and criminal mischief while the rapper’s lawyer released a statement saying, “While this is clearly a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation, we are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and set the record straight. We are confident our client will be cleared of any wrongdoing.”
We’re going to bet that Scott will be settling both of these cases, if he can. And it won’t come cheap.

On Wednesday (March 1), Travis Scott made news after allegedly getting into an altercation at club Nebula in New York City. And though his team says the situation was “blown out of proportion,” a sound engineer says Scott did indeed put hands on him.

TMZ is reporting that sound engineer only known as Mark, was on the receiving end of a Travis Scott knuckle sandwich to the head after Scott flipped him off for messing with the volume to his music. Apparently, the punch to the dome was enough to land Mark in the hospital. Speaking to Fox 5 News, Mark says the assault at club Nebula left him with pain from the head down.

Mark said he can’t turn his head and “My neck is f**ked up. My arm is tingling. I have pins and needles going down it. “He also described the events that led to the violence, saying Travis was playing the DJ music so loud the sound was distorted. When Mark tried to lower the volume, he said Travis flew into a rage.

Travis “stuck his middle finger in my face,” Mark said, adding, “So I lowered the monitor a little bit so I could talk to him, and that’s when he ran around the speaker and attacked me.”Mark’s account of the incident comes after managing partner of Club Nebula, Ritchie Romero, released a statement saying “This is blown completely out of proportion. It was a great night.” After going off in the DJ booth and attacking Mark, Scott allegedly went on to damage a speaker and TV screen to the tune of $12,000 before bouncing out of the club.

Authorities are looking to question Travis Scott about the incident. But his lawyer Mitchell Schuster says everything is “a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation.” Schuster says he’s currently working with law enforcement and is confident that Scott will be “cleared of any wrongdoing.”
Even if Scott doesn’t get charged with any wrongdoing don’t be surprised if Mark files a civil suit at some point.Check out video of the damage Scott allegedly caused. And let us know your thoughts on the situation in the comments section.

Travis Scott may not be known as a “gangsta rapper,” but the Houston artist allegedly thugged it out in New York City as he is suspected of putting hands on someone in the wee hours of the morning.

TMZ is reporting that the “Highest In The Room” rapper is being sought for questioning in relation to an assault that took place at Nebula in Midtown Manhattan which led to a man being punched and having his property destroyed. The incident unfolded at 3am at the club located on 41st Street and police are looking to have a chat with Scott and his representatives about the altercation.

As for why he was in town, it appears Don Toliver had a show in NYC Tuesday night, bringing out Travis — much to the delight of fans.Travis is set to headline Rolling Loud California in Los Angeles Saturday night … unclear if that appearance will be impacted at all because of the investigation. We’ve reached out to Travis’ team … so far, no word back.Well, at least Travis is able to once again rock crowds without any conspiracy theories of human sacrifices and demonic rituals.
Whether or not Scott and his peoples actually cooperate with police is anyone’s guess, but we wouldn’t be surprised if the man is already back on a flight to Houston at this point. Chances are if Scott actually did assault someone at the club, that person’s going to sue Scott for a few stacks sooner or later because, hey, why not? If Travis Scott put hands on us we’d just sue for a few pairs of those Friends and Family Air Jordan 4’s that were never released along with monetary compensation. Just sayin.’

Billionaire entrepreneur Kylie Jenner recently shared the first photo of her now 11-month-old son, Aire whom she shares with rapper Travis Scott.

In an Instagram post, Kylie Jenner wrote that the baby’s name is Aire. Fans commented on the adorable infant and asked Jenner to clarify the pronunciation of his name. Several fans asked if the name is pronounced “air” or “airy,” and per Page Six, she set the record straight. “Air,” the reality star, 25, replied, alongside a red heart emoji.

The post racked up more than 20 million “likes” and comments from fans and Jenner’s family members. Proud grandmother, Kris Jenner, wrote, “I love you Aire Webster,” while Khloé Kardashian called her nephew a “young king.”
The baby boy’s name was initially Wolf. His mom and his dad, Jenner’s on-and-off boyfriend—rap star Travis Scott, gave him the name. According to Page Six, the couple chose to change the baby’s name in March 2022.
“We just haven’t fully legally changed it or anything, so I don’t want to announce a new name and change it again,” Jenner explained to Extra in April 2022.
The famous couple is reportedly no longer together, but are collaborating and being co-parents. “We’re like best friends,” Jenner said of her relationship with Scott in February 2020. “We stay connected and coordinated.”
Jenner and Scott started dating in 2017 and welcomed a daughter, Stormi Webster in 2018. Aire was born in 2022.
