transphobia

HipHopWired Featured Video

Rep. Lauren Boebert is back in the news but this time, she seemingly dragged Dave Chappelle into a moment he probably didn’t expect or ask for. In a now-deleted X reply, the Colorado congresswoman took a cheap shot at the trans community.
Dave Chappelle was in Washington this week to perform and ahead of his set, he took a meeting with the Congressional Black Caucus on Thursday (November 30) according to Punchbowl News.

Boebert was heard on a video shared to X asking for a photo as he was appearing heading out to leave. Boebert and Florida congresswoman Rep. Anna Paulina Luna are seen in the photo with the caption reading, “Just three people who know there are only two genders” — a clear attempt to push a transphobic agenda on the heels of Chappelle’s older material many deemed harmful.
In a video from reporter Kyle Stewart, Chappelle explained his visit to Capitol Hill as catching up with some old friends of his. Chappelle is a native of the Washington Metropolitan Area and has deep ties in the community despite residing in Ohio.
It isn’t known why Rep. Lauren Boebert deleted the tweet but we’re guessing the transphobia had a least a little to do with it.

Carlos Santana is putting his foot and entire guitar in his mouth after he made some heada** transphobic comments.
Spotted on Deadline, the 76-year-old legendary guitarist is now singing after a video of him going on a transphobic rant while giving props to Dave Chappelle, who also got called out for transphobic jokes at a concert back in July.
Per Deadline:
“When God made you and me, before we came out of the womb, you know who you are and what you are,” the guitarist is seen saying in the clip.
He continued, “Later on when you grow up, and you see things and you start believing that you could be something that sounds good, but you know it ain’t right, because a woman is a woman and a man is a man — that’s it.”
“Whatever you wanna do in the closet, that’s your business, I’m OK with that,” Santana added. He then mentioned his “brother Dave Chapelle,” who has also made some controversial remarks on transgender issues.

Carlos Santana Ran To Facebook To Apologize
Following the backlash, Santana took to Facebook to immediately apologize for his comments. “I am sorry for my insensitive comments,” his post begins.
“They don’t reflect that I want to honor and respect all person’s (sic) ideals and beliefs. I realize that what I said hurt people and that was not my intent. I sincerely apologize to the transgender community and everyone I offended,” his statement continued.
Santana claims that his “personal goal” is to “honor and respect all person’s (sic) ideals and beliefs whether they are LGBTQ or not. This is the planet of free will, and we have all been given this gift. I will now pursue this goal to be happy and have fun, and for everyone to believe what they want and follow in your hearts without fear.”
He wrapped up his statement, saying, “It takes courage to grow and glow in the light that you are and to be true, genuine, and authentic. We grow and learn to shine our light with Love and compliments.”
His apology might be too late. You can see those reactions below.

Dylan Mulvaney was in the world minding her business and celebrating an epic moment with Bud Light after the beer brand commemorated her 365 days of womanhood via her face on a can of the brew. Major league MAGA loser and former struggle rapper Kid Rock made a corny and spineless threat towards Mulvaney and Bud Light after shooting up a case of the beer with a semiautomatic rifle.
Before we get into the fake tough guy antics of Kid Rock, let’s center Dylan Mulvaney properly. Mulvaney is a TikTok star with millions of followers and rose to fame by way of her “365 Days To Girlhood” series on the social media network to the tune of over 10 million followers.
Taking notice of this, the great minds at Anheuser-Busch decided to gift Mulvaney some cans with her face on them, and she couldn’t have been happier as evidenced by the video below.

The backlash Mulvaney is enduring at the moment has been relentless, but something she’s certainly used to dealing with since everyone doesn’t know how to stay in their respective lanes like adults. Kid Rock joined the Goof Troop himself by uploading a video of him using some high-powered rifle to shoot up a case of brews and giving the finger to Bud Light and its parent company in the process.

Kid Rock looks like a gigantic fool by sharing this video and right on cue, the MAGA asshats who love this kind of empty rhetoric toward the LGBTQ community are supporting him. That said, plenty of people on Twitter are letting Kid Rock know that he has bigger things to worry about than Dylan Mulvaney living her life on her terms.
