Last October, Creed announced a summer 2024 reunion trek to follow their Summer of ’99 cruise in April, which will mark the band’s first shows together in 12 years. The summer amphitheater tour will begin on July 17 in Green Bay, and will include the Summer of ‘99 and Beyond Festival in San Bernardino on Aug. 31, featuring Creed as headliners and several special performances.
After scoring crossover rock hits like “One,” “Higher,” “With Arms Wide Open” and “My Sacrifice,” Creed’s lineup of Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips stopped touring together in 2012. The band announced the Summer of ’99 cruise last year, and both weekends of the voyage have sold out.
The arena run, dubbed the Are You Ready? Tour, will feature special guests 3 Doors Down, Mammoth WVH and Finger Eleven in select cities. Presale tickets will be available beginning today (Feb. 6), with the general on-sale starting on Friday, at the band’s website.

Just three weeks after first teasing Paramore‘s rollicking cover of Talking Heads‘ “Burning Down the House,” the band’s rendition is finally here.
On Wednesday (Jan. 31), A24 Music officially announced Everyone’s Getting Involved: A Tribute to Stop Making Sense — a tribute album in commemoration of the 40-year anniversary of Talking Heads’ Stop Making Sense concert film and accompanying soundtrack.
The tribute album’s track list mirrors that of the original LP, with fresh, new takes on the 16 electrifying tracks from a genre-spanning array of artists. The full list of artists featured on the soundtrack includes Paramore, Miley Cyrus, Lorde, The National, Teezo Touchdown, Kevin Abstract, Jean Dawson, girl in red, BADBADNOTGOOD, Blondshell, The Cavemen., Chicano Batman, Money Mark, DJ Tunez, El Mató a un Policía Motorizado, The Linda Lindas and Toro y Moi.
A24 Music’s new compilation specifically celebrates the recent re-release of Stop Making Sense to theaters nationwide. Originally filmed and released in 1984, the Jonathan Demme-helmed concert film chronicles four nights of performances on the band’s 1983 tour in support of their Speaking in Tongues album, which reached No. 15 on the Billboard 200 that year. Back in 1984, the original Stop Making Sense soundtrack hit No. 41 on the Billboard 200; the set has since spent 119 weeks on the ranking, more than any other Talking Heads title.
Stop Making Sense returned to theaters this January in a restored 4K print. A24 acquired the worldwide rights to the film, and under their guidance, the Stop Making Sense re-release set an IMAX record for highest-grossing live event and eclipsed the gross of the film’s original 10-month U.S. theatrical run in weeks. On Jan. 27, A24 launched a new theatrical residency for the film, hosting monthly screenings in major cities — including Chicago, London and New York — as the concert doc approaches the 40-year anniversary of its original premiere (April 24).
Talking Heads have earned eight career entries on the Billboard Hot 100, including their sole top 10 hit, 1983’s “Burning the House Down” (No. 9). On the Billboard 200, the band’s 12 career entries include 1983’s Speaking in Tongues (No. 15), 1985’s Little Creatures (No. 20) and 1988’s Naked (No. 19).

As she preps her as-yet-untitled third album, Megan Thee Stallion is also getting ready to do something she’s never done before: hit the road for a full-on solo summer tour. Speaking to Good Morning America on Tuesday (Jan. 30), the “Hiss” rapper revealed that she’s planning to come to your town this summer. “Oh, we’ve […]
Adele is just months away from completing her Weekends With Adele residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The run of shows that kicked off in Nov. 2022 and were extended through a June 15 gig this summer is about to end, though the singer gave hope over the weekend that they might not have to travel to see her the next time she releases an album.
According to video posted by fans, during Saturday night’s show Adele teased a return to the road after previously stating that her touring days might be over. “I just don’t think I’m gonna write an album for quite some time,” Adele said about beginning work on the follow-up to her 2021 30 album.
“But next time I do, I’ll come to wherever it is you live,” she added after saying that she “really, really, really” has enjoyed the residency run. It’s not surprising that she’s had fun during her three-year string of shows in Vegas, which the singer has extended several times. It’s been the sight of a number of unexpected surprises, including Adele running into her OB-GYN in the audience, paying tribute to late Friends star Matthew Perry, calling boyfriend Rich Paul her “husband” from the stage and stopping the show to help a couple with their baby gender reveal.
Rather than embark on another massive world tour to promote 30, Adele — who has been open about her struggles with stage fright in the past — opted to stay put in Las Vegas instead after wrapping up the outing for her 25 release in 2017. “Touring isn’t something I’m good at… Applause makes me feel a bit vulnerable. I don’t know if I will ever tour again. The only reason I’ve toured is you. I’m not sure if touring is my bag,” Adele said at the end of the 25 tour at a New Zealand show.
But after postponing her anticipated residency unexpectedly in Jan. 2022 on the eve of opening because she feared there was “no soul” in the production at the time, in an October Instagram post the singer said the stay-put run has changed her life. “I desperately needed to fall back in love with performing live again, and I have. I needed to reconnect with my songs and remember what they mean to me, and I have!,” she wrote alongside a super-cut of video from the shows. “Being on stage over the last year so up close and personal with an audience again after all these years has been a truly extraordinary restorative experience that I’ll never forget. All the hilarious, soulful, wild and heartbreaking interactions we’ve had are banked in my mind for life. The looks on your faces, seeing you laugh and cry together singing your hearts out and hoarding bags of confetti. All the simi dolls, friendship bracelets, flowers, facetime calls and flags. It’s crazy how joyful a show full of sad songs can be!!”
She concluded by saying the twice-a-weekend performances have gotten her revved up again about live performance. “I’ve felt so much and learned so much about myself and you. It’s humanized everything I thought was scary,” she wrote. “Mostly though – it’s just made me realize how much I really enjoy being on stage, that I’m bloody good at it and that it is 100% where I belong!”
Just hours after teasing his return to the stage on Thursday night’s (Jan. 25) Tonight Show, Justin Timberlake rolled out the dates for his first tour in five years. The first leg of JT’s Forget Tomorrow World Tour will include 22 North American dates, kicking off on April 29 with a show at Rogers Arena in Vancouver.
The Live Nation-produced arena outing will take Timberlake from coast-to-coast, hitting Seattle, San Jose, Las Vegas, San Diego, Phoenix, Atlanta, Tampa, Miami, Chicago, New York, Boston and Cleveland before winding down with a July 9 show at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY.
The dates will support Timberlake’s upcoming sixth solo album, Everything I Thought It Was, which features his moody new R&B single, “Selfish.” The new album — Timberlake’s follow-up to his earthy 2018 Man of the Woods LP — is due out on March 15.
There is a Citi presale for the tour that kicks off in the U.s. beginning Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. local time until Feb. 1 at 5 p.m. local time here, with a Verizon presale slated through Verizon Up beginning Jan. 30 at 10 a.m. local time until Feb. 1 at 5 p.m. local time here. Tickets for the North American tour will be available beginning with a fan presale starting Jan. 29, with existing fan club members receiving a unique email code, followed by the general onsale kicking off on Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. local time here.
