Gunna hasn’t known a moment of peace since exiting prison after it was widely assumed that the rapper cooperated with authorities in the ongoing Young Thug and YSL RICO case. The rapper saw his name trending on Twitter on Wednesday (March 22) after footage of Tekashi 6ix9ine catching a beatdown in Florida went wide, thus putting the Wunna star on fade notice.
Gunna, real name Sergio Kitchens, was swept up in the Georgia RICO case brought against Young Thug and his role in leading the alleged Young Stoner Life gang. As one of the many defendants, Gunna was among the group that was let go after appearing in court and agreeing to a deal that allowed him to go free. The public at large considered the moment a snitch move on Gunna’s part and deemed him a rat from that point forward.
Tekashi 6ix9ine was in a Florida LA Fitness and was caught by a group of individuals who put hands and feet on the beleaguered rapper who actually did tell on his co-defendants and has yet to get low for some reason we’re still not able to fathom. Tekashi was bloodied and bruised as evidenced by the footage that was released, and many on Twitter believe Gunna needs to watch his back, front, and sides.
Although folks are cracking jokes that call for the fade for the 29-year-old rapper, we don’t condone such violence over here. That said, we’re here to report the news and that’s why we gathered the tweets you’re about to see below.

Notoriously unliked rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was hospitalized after catching a brutal fade. Reportedly, the infamous snitch got jumped while he was in a gym in Florida.
The “Gummo” rapper’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, confirmed that his client caught the hand and feet in and outside the sauna of an LA Fitness gym.
Reports Variety:
The 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, sustained injuries to his face and bruises, according to his attorney, Lance Lazzaro.
Lazzaro said the rapper was attacked in and outside the LA Fitness gym sauna by three or four men who beat him up, though he tried fighting back. “He had cuts to his face and bruises,” Lazzaro said. The attorney said that the perpetrators fled after employees heard the disturbance.
Of course footage of part of the beatdown made it onto the Internets. Tekashi can be seen in almost a fetal position as he’s getting kicked in the stomach. Be warned, the clip below is violent.
The police were called but the assailants left before their arrival. Tekashi was then transported to a local hospital. His attorney tells TMZ he plans to call the Feds to get his client protection.
Don’t expect much sympathy for Tekashi’s struggle. The Brooklyn native infamously dropped dime on his team (tagged as members of the Nine Trey Bloods), including his manager, and was thus able to skate free while his crew is doing time for felonies including drug trafficking. In fact, Twitter is getting jokes off, which you can see for yourself in the gallery.
Considering Tekashi’s behavior since getting out of prison, no one should be surprised this incident happened.

Tekashi 6ix9ine is finding out the hard way that being a world famous snitch is an unfavorable label that will follow you wherever you go, even at a baseball game.
During last Friday night’s World Baseball Classic game between Puerto Rico and Mexico, the “Gummo” rapper was actually in attendance. (Front row no less.) After rooting for his team and waving a large Mexican flag, another baseball fan in attendance tried to baptize the government witness with a can of beer. Another two flipped him off during the interaction.
Interestingly enough, Tekashi was escorted out of the Miami Marlins ballpark afterwards due to being heavily intoxicated and causing too much of a ruckus throughout the game. A source told Page Six that Snitch9ine was removed from the stadium shortly after having the beer chucked at him due to his belligerent behavior.
“He was drunk, he was inebriated and he was out of control,” the eyewitness adds. “There were a lot of families there last night and he was bothering people.”
Sounds about right.
Even when Tekashi is sober he’s known to rub people the wrong way and get under their skin. We can only imagine how annoying and disruptive an inebriated Tekashi can get. In an IG post, you can see a drunken Tekashi sitting in the front row of the baseball game acting a fool and blocking the view of attendees in the seats directly behind him.
Things got to the point that security officials had to ask Tekashi to leave as he was causing too much of a disturbance. Though the men accompanying Tekashi tried to intervene, officials had had enough of the Brooklyn rapper’s behavior.
The “Gooba” rapper eventually gave in and walked out of the stadium, while still waving his large flag and greeting fans.
We’re told the incident occurred toward the end of the game, so Tekashi had been a nuisance for several innings.
Unfortunately for 6ix9ine, he wasn’t able to stick around to see Mexico secure the dub as they went on to beat Puerto Rico 5-4. Though we don’t know if Mexican players would’ve wanted to be seen celebrating the win with one of the most hated men in Hip-Hop. Then again, people are still voluntarily hanging out with him in public, so you never know.

Gunna is officially a free man but unfortunately for him it came with a great price, being labeled a snitch out on these Hip-Hop streets.
While Hip-Hop’s most infamous snitch ever, Tekashi 6ix9ine proudly wears his “Henry Hill” badge on his chest, Gunna’s lawyer is denying his client is anywhere near the same vicinity as the “Gummo” rapper. But 6ix9ine and Wack 100 disagree and are taking Gunna to task for “tattle telling” on his YSL family.
According to TMZ, DJ Akademiks got the ball rolling by DMing Gunna’s lawyer, Steven Sadow and asking him to clarify his position that Gunna isn’t a snitch. Sadow explained that Gunna’s plea deal wouldn’t affect anyone other than Gunna himself and that “Out of court statements at a plea hearing cannot come into evidence against someone else.”
The night before, Akademiks chopped it up with OG snitch Tekashi 6ix9ine who went in on Gunna and had no problem calling him a rat. He even said that Gunna looks “worse” than he did dropping dimes as he feels that Gunna turned on the people “who put him on. This is a n*gga who really put him under his wing. So there’s no reasoning to plea out. You woulda been more gangsta holding it down till ya man copped out or your man figured it out cause you wasn’t fighting no real charges.”

Even Wack 100 weighed in on the subject and he too questioned Gunna’s street standings after taking the plea writing “@akademiks Stop bro … His statements were clearly on the RECORD … And the whole “DEFENSE” was #YSL IS NOT I REPEAT IS NOT A GANG JUST A RECORD LABEL… YOU HIM OR THEM CANT REWRITE THE LAWS OF #SNITCHING. CO-OPERATION WITH THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY MAKES U A CO OPERANT WHICH EQUALS #Telling.”
Though Tekashi blatantly took the stand against his former crew and directly pointed fingers at them on multiple crimes in exchange for his own personal freedom, we still don’t know exactly how Gunna’s plea deal and cooperation with authorities will affect his YSL family. What if Young Thug is set free under similar conditions? Would he be considered a rat? Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
What do y’all think? Do y’all feel that Gunna and Tekashi 6ix9ine are one in the same? Should they make a song together for the closeted snitches of the streets? Let us know in the comment section below.
