Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested in the Dominican Republic Sunday after the rapper, who suffered a beatdown at an LA Fitness in Florida earlier this year, allegedly dished out a beatdown of his own on music producers who were apparently in the company of his girlfriend.
According to TMZ, 6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, was taken into custody Sunday night at the Hotel Balcones del Atlántico in Sánchez in the province of Samaná by La Vega prosecutor Aura Luv Garcia, who is leading the investigation into the case. Video footage circling around social media shows the chaotic scene that erupted when the “GOOBA” rapper arrived at the DR jail.
From TMZ:
Tekashi’s reportedly been accused of beating up music producers in the country with a handful of other men … after allegedly getting into it over his new girlfriend, Yailin.
Reports say Yailin was in the studio when 6ix9ine showed up with his crew — and the rapper was allegedly jealous of the producers spending time with his girl.Tekashi reportedly tried flying out of the country after the incident, but the charter company followed protocol and checked with immigration for any outstanding warrants — resulting in the rapper bailing on the plane idea.
This is 6ix9ine’s second arrest in the last few months as he was also arrested in Florida in August for skipping a court date.
It’s worth pointing out that someone who can’t stop getting into legal trouble and is known for snitching in order to get himself out of legal trouble should probably be steered clear from if one happens to be a friend of his who dabbles in illegal activity. Just saying.

Tekashi 6ix9ine has once again run afoul of the law. If he thought snitching on half of Brooklyn years ago was going to keep him out of cuffs, he was dead wrong.
TMZ is reporting that the most hated man in the rap game was pinched by authorities in Florida on Wednesday (Aug. 9) for “failing to appear in court” over three speeding tickets he earned himself this past June. Why he would skip such a modest court hearing is anyone’s guess, but he was taken into Palm Beach County Jail where he was booked and held for three hours before posting $2,000 bail.
TMZ reports:
According to court docs … Tekashi was going 135 mph in a 65 mph zone on the Florida Turnpike before he was given a ticket for speeding. He was also issued citations for having an unregistered vehicle and no car insurance. Tekashi failed to appear for a July court hearing to address the tickets … leading a judge to issue a warrant that resulted in last night’s arrest.
The arrest comes months after Tekashi was brutally beaten in the bathroom of an LA Fitness in Florida by three men who apparently don’t appreciate famous snitches in their neighborhood. While many figured Tekashi would immediately move out of Florida now that everyone knew where he was “hiding,” the embattled rapper promised to remain in the state and actually did.Unfortunately, he’s still managing to get himself jammed up with idiotic moves. Y’all already know this won’t be the last time he makes headlines for stuff like this.
The punishment for skipping court dates can range from monetary fines to actual imprisonment. So we’ll have to wait and see what Florida has in store for him. If it’s jail time, don’t be surprised if he drops dime on whoever’s been hanging out with him lately ’cause that man has proven that he cannot do a bid on his own merit. Just sayin’.

Looks like Tekashi 6ix9ine’s rattish reputation is following him outside of the continental United States as the Hip-Hop pariah is finding out he’s not welcome out in Puerto Rico.
A few months after having himself a grand old time down in Mexico, Tekashi was readying to take his talents to Puerto Rico only to have police warn him that he should keep his distance from the U.S. commonwealth as heads out there are ready to dig a grave for the “Gummo” rapper. Tekashi was set to take part in Univisión’s Youth Awards at the Coliseo de Puerto Rico today (July 20), but it seems like Tekashi might want to rethink his visit.
According to Elvocero, police asked Univisión to remove the disgraced rapper from their ticket after execs from the Univisión Network asked police to look into the death threats Tekashi was getting. While authorities wouldn’t confirm that the threats were legit or bogus, they did inform them that they wouldn’t be able to protect Tekashi should he decide to travel to Puerto Rico for the Youth Awards. In other words, Tekashi’s on his own out there, b.
Still, police said they will try their best to implement a plan of protection should Tekashi touchdown on the island. What that plan will consist of is anyone’s guess, but we’re not sure Tekashi should risk it, especially after he had some choice words for Fat Joe just last year.
He even took to his IG page to promote his appearance at the Youth Awards yesterday.
Looks like the half-Puerto Rican, half-Mexican rapper has a choice to make: Get that bag in Puerto Rico and possibly end up in a bag or just stay his ass in the U.S.
Like Black Sheep once said, “The choice is yooouurrss!”
What do y’all think? Should Tekashi 6ix9ine risk it for a pay day? Let us know in the comments section below.

We swear it is never a dull moment whenever Tekashi 6ix9ine is trending on social media.
A few days ago, Twitter was abuzz with word that Tekashi 6ix9ine had “officially” come out the closet after fans discovered a video of him hanging out in a pool with the Mexican band Grupo Firme. A picture of him actually laying a big fat kiss on the cheek of one of the band members went viral.
[embedded content]
After the pic and video went viral, Tekashi supposedly put out a statement saying that he was indeed gay though no one can confirm that this message actually came from Tekashi or if someone just took the picture and fabricated the post for the heck of it. There were even rumors swirling that Tekashi and his new “boyfriend” were actually going to get married in Mexico and planned on televising the entire event.
With those pics and video resurfaced, HipHopDX reports an old video of a gay porn star–who bares a striking resemblance to the most infamous snitch in Hip-Hop history–surfaced and social media was quick to say it was Tekashi 6ix9ine who leaked his own gay sex tape. Naturally, people forget this is the same tape that called Tekashi’s sexuality into question back in 2020 when he was on top of the Hip-Hop world, but as it turned out, it was just someone who looked like a tattooless Tekashi 6ix9ine. The chatter quickly faded as Tekashi went on to make all types of Hip-Hop history.
Regardless, the Twitterverse had quite the time reacting to the old sex tape and new videos of Tekashi having fun with his “homies” and truth be told, it was all funny as hell. Knowing that “all publicity is good publicity,” Tekashi hasn’t shot down any of the new/old gay rumors and is probably enjoying seeing himself trending on social media regardless of the reason.
What do y’all think of the entire situation behind Tekashi 6ix9ine these days? Is he behind everything or is someone out there just messing with him? Let us know in the comments section below.

Tekashi 6ix9ine is speaking out on getting jumped at an LA Fitness in Florida. Cue the tiny violin music since it’s difficult to feel too much sympathy for this guy considering his entire career seems like one big troll.
But, for archival purposes, let us recount what’s going through the alleged Brooklyn rapper’s head in the aftermath of getting jumped near the sauna of an LA Fitness a couple of weeks back. Per current rapper protocol, he took to Instagram to share his thoughts, posting them with a clip of the brutal beating where he can be seen getting blessed with the hands and feet by three assailants, including one wearing mismatched Crocs).
“For 2 years I been walking around with no security,” read part of 6ix9ine’s caption. “Not saying I promote that BUT now you see I really never hid from anything. If you ever crossed my path or ever came to my house (you girls know who you are) ya can tell the world ‘Danny drives his own cars and be solo’ You know how many of you people seen me in real life by myself in gas stations, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. Anyway what happen here was nothing but cowardly.”
Maybe so, but 6ix9ine surely knew that his behavior has never exactly exuded “good will.” Anyway, he continued, “I’m not mad this happened. In the street there’s no rules so I cant say they were wrong. Obviously it wasn’t fair but again the streets has no rules. Just imagine having nothing to do to with a situation and feel obligated to make it your business. (Very weird) I’m happy to be here still. And I want to say I love my fans. Thank you.”
He also added a post script, “I never knew we respected jumping people. When did that ever become a W???”
True indeed, jumping 6ix9ine doesn’t exactly earn you points, but keeping it a buck, it does get an approving nod from many. It also will probably mean jail time.
Three of the men who put hands on 6ix9ine have been arrested, with one of them reportedly being a high-ranking member of the Latin Kings gang. We trust that 6ix9ine will have no problem pointing out these guys in court since he had no issue dropping dime on his associates, which allowed him to walk out of jail despite multiple felony charges. And that, along with the aforementioned and unrepentant trolling, is why 6ix9ine kind of does need to roll around with security, at all times.
Just sayin’.

While the culture continues to celebrate Tekashi 6ix9ine finally receiving the comeuppance that he’s been courting for the past few years, Jim Jones doesn’t have much of an opinion on it other than finding it comedic.
TMZ recently caught up with Capo while he was promoting his latest project, Back In My Prime, and when they asked him about Tekashi’s beatdown, Capo went from waving off the question to vogue dancing and Milly rockin’ as he was seemingly enjoying himself at that moment.
Saying “Gotta be sturdy out here, ya heard? Gotta move tactical,” while busting his moves, Jones clearly had no qualms about showing his pleasure at what unfolded just last weekend.
There’s obviously no love lost between Jim Jones and Tekashi 6ix9ine who not only tried to rope the Harlem rapper into his snitching spree a while back but even took a potshot at Jones when he told prosecutors in court that Jim Jones was a “retired” rapper.
That man never retired, b.
While Jim didn’t offer much opinion on Tekashi getting the braids beaten off of him, Jim did feel that Snitch9ine went to the “wrong type of gym.”
Jim finally did offer up some insight in between his hitting the whoa … and suggested Tekashi’s choice of a public gym wasn’t the brightest and is certain that would never happen in the facilities he works out at.
The Harlem rapper is currently plotting his own line of Vamp Fitt gyms, and frequents New Jersey’s Impact Zone with fellow artists Fabolous, Dave East and Maino … but discouraged knuckleheads from attempting to pull similar stunts in his sanctuary. You’ve been warned!!!
Gotta love Jim Jones, b.
Taking the moment to plug his upcoming gym, Elevation Cross-fit, Jones seems excited to open up his own workout studio. However, we doubt that he’ll be extending an invite to Tekashi 6ix9ine or even Gunna for that matter. Dip Set didn’t have those “Stop Snitching” shirts back in the day for nothing
Also, salute to Capo for shouting out his mans, Mel Matrix, who is doing a stretch and comes home in 2025.

If you thought the brutal beatdown that Tekashi Snitch9ine caught the other day at LA Fitness would’ve humbled the outspoken and often annoying Hip-Hop pariah, think again.
Remaining as defiant as ever, the rainbow haired rapper considers the beating of a lifetime a small hiccup during his recent stint in Florida. According to TMZ, he feels that he doesn’t need security 24/7 even as he continues to pull a Croc out his ass. Still, the “FuFu” rapper feels safe enough in Trump country to remain there and try to live the “normal” life of a government informant who stands out like a sour, colorful thumb.
From TMZ:
Sources close to Tekashi tell TMZ … he’s actually been going out in public without his hired muscle pretty regularly over the last year — without issue. We’re told he’s not about to let one incident change the way he lives. He wants to continue to live as normal a life as possible … and is chalking up the gym beatdown as an outlier.
What’s more, Tekashi has no plans on leaving South Florida, despite the attackers saying snitches weren’t welcome in their neighborhood.
Yeah, we give it a few weeks before Tekashi is run out of town and holes up somewhere in Seattle like Henry Hill did after snitching on the mob. Watch Macklemore catch him lacking out there too though.
While we wait and see if authorities catch up to the men who caught 6ix9ine slipping in the locker room, another video has surfaced of Tekashi catching the universal. Man, it was not pretty. If you get stomped out by a guy in Crocs (different colored ones on top of that), you might as well just never come back outside. Just sayin’.
What do y’all think of Tekashi 6ix9ine saying he’s not leaving Florida? Is he cappin’ to save face or do y’all think he’s seriously staying put in the Sunshine state? Let us know in the comments section below.

A few days ago Tekashi Snitch9ine finally got the comeuppance that the culture has been so patiently waiting on for the past few years, respectfully. Now new video footage appears to show that the men involved in the attack didn’t just so happen to run into the “Gummo” rapper by coincidence.
TMZ is reporting that the surveillance video from the LA Fitness where Tekashi was brutally beatdown shows the two men enter the gym before being joined by a third, briefly speaking to the desk employee and then ultimately making a beeline directly to the sauna where Tekashi was enjoying life as a free man.
It certainly looks like the two men were in on some sort of plan … but it’s still unclear if they knew Tekashi was going to be at the gym all along, or if one man possibly saw 6ix9ine and called his buddy to help.
What followed was a beatdown for the ages. Leaving Tekashi bloodied up, bruised and battered, the men left the infamous Hip-Hop snitch with coloring on his face that actually blended in with his rainbow wig piece. Though everyone wondered where his security was at during the assault, Tekashi probably felt it wasn’t necessary as TMZ says he’s frequented the South Florida gym in the past without any kind of problems.
Our sources tell us if Tekashi is ever approached or recognized, most of the interactions are peaceful … and he’s usually accommodating and willing to pose with fans. Of course, he’s clearly got enemies out there — no doubt still lingering from the infamous RICO case.
Well, Tekashi found out that day that the streets eventually catch up to everyone. Usually working out for 20 minutes on the stair master at that particular location, Tekashi must’ve thought he was safe in Florida as he’s never beefed with any rapper in Trump country in his career, that we know of. He obviously wasn’t.
Luckily for Tekashi, LA Fitness staff reportedly intervened to help get him to a safe room and keep the men from inflicting more damage on his body.
No word on whether the men involved in the assault are being sought for questioning by authorities, but given the brazenness of their actions, they could probably care less about getting cuffed up for the assault. Heck, Boosie Badazz is already calling for fans to start a GoFundMe page to support his new snitch-beating heroes. Even Gunna is getting heat due to Tekashi’s plight.
What do y’all think of the situation? Let us know in the comments section below.

Gunna hasn’t known a moment of peace since exiting prison after it was widely assumed that the rapper cooperated with authorities in the ongoing Young Thug and YSL RICO case. The rapper saw his name trending on Twitter on Wednesday (March 22) after footage of Tekashi 6ix9ine catching a beatdown in Florida went wide, thus putting the Wunna star on fade notice.
Gunna, real name Sergio Kitchens, was swept up in the Georgia RICO case brought against Young Thug and his role in leading the alleged Young Stoner Life gang. As one of the many defendants, Gunna was among the group that was let go after appearing in court and agreeing to a deal that allowed him to go free. The public at large considered the moment a snitch move on Gunna’s part and deemed him a rat from that point forward.
Tekashi 6ix9ine was in a Florida LA Fitness and was caught by a group of individuals who put hands and feet on the beleaguered rapper who actually did tell on his co-defendants and has yet to get low for some reason we’re still not able to fathom. Tekashi was bloodied and bruised as evidenced by the footage that was released, and many on Twitter believe Gunna needs to watch his back, front, and sides.
Although folks are cracking jokes that call for the fade for the 29-year-old rapper, we don’t condone such violence over here. That said, we’re here to report the news and that’s why we gathered the tweets you’re about to see below.

Notoriously unliked rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was hospitalized after catching a brutal fade. Reportedly, the infamous snitch got jumped while he was in a gym in Florida.
The “Gummo” rapper’s lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, confirmed that his client caught the hand and feet in and outside the sauna of an LA Fitness gym.
Reports Variety:
The 26-year-old rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, sustained injuries to his face and bruises, according to his attorney, Lance Lazzaro.
Lazzaro said the rapper was attacked in and outside the LA Fitness gym sauna by three or four men who beat him up, though he tried fighting back. “He had cuts to his face and bruises,” Lazzaro said. The attorney said that the perpetrators fled after employees heard the disturbance.
Of course footage of part of the beatdown made it onto the Internets. Tekashi can be seen in almost a fetal position as he’s getting kicked in the stomach. Be warned, the clip below is violent.
The police were called but the assailants left before their arrival. Tekashi was then transported to a local hospital. His attorney tells TMZ he plans to call the Feds to get his client protection.
Don’t expect much sympathy for Tekashi’s struggle. The Brooklyn native infamously dropped dime on his team (tagged as members of the Nine Trey Bloods), including his manager, and was thus able to skate free while his crew is doing time for felonies including drug trafficking. In fact, Twitter is getting jokes off, which you can see for yourself in the gallery.
Considering Tekashi’s behavior since getting out of prison, no one should be surprised this incident happened.
6. The Aftermath?
