The whirlwind romance between GMA3 anchors T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach will cost them their jobs.
We sure hope it was worth it because T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach will no longer sit at an anchor desk on any ABC News programs.

The once-promising careers of the two GMA3 anchors have hit a roadblock because they couldn’t keep their hands off each other, the New York Times is reporting.
Per the New York Times:

The “GMA3” anchors T.J. Holmes, and Amy Robach are negotiating their exit from ABC News, less than two months after the revelation of their romantic relationship turned into a tabloid feeding frenzy, according to two people with knowledge of the talks.

Their expected departure comes a day after the start of a mediation between representatives for the anchors and the network, the people said.

The news site also adds that Holmes and Robach were potentially going to take over Good Morning America, but their whirlwind affair ended that talk leaving ABC News in a pickle.

The Mess Between T.J. Holmes & Amy Robach Broken Down
At the time, ABC News president Kim Godwin did not comment on her two anchors bumping uglies but five days later told her employees she was pulling them off the air.

Ms. Godwin said their relationship didn’t violate company policy but added that it became an “internal and external distraction” during an editorial call.

A representative for both anchors said their relationship began a “few months” earlier and that they both left their spouses in August.

The rep also noted the anchors the couple didn’t tell anyone at ABC about their relationship “because they were waiting until they both were divorced.”

As the salacious romance between GMA3 hosts T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach gets more scandalous with every new revelation. A source who claims to be close to Robach says the 49-year-old had no idea about the other office romances Holmes allegedly had, nor did she expect that the whole affair would “blow up into a scandal.” (I mean…OK.)

From Page Six:
The “GMA3” personality, whose shocking romance with her co-host catapulted the pair into the news cycle last November, feels like “collateral damage,” a source told the US Sun.

“She had no idea the scope of T.J.’s alleged past office romances,” the insider added, referencing Holmes’ alleged dalliances with an intern 13 years his junior and an ABC producer.
“She certainly did not foresee that their relationship was going to cause major upheaval — outside of her own marriage.”
So…you know, I don’t like to be too judgmental—but I just feel like, for an experienced TV personality hosting Good Morning America, to not foresee that your affair with your married celebrity cohost might cause “major upheaval” if it went public just seems unbelievably naive, does it not?
Also, I’m just saying, you don’t get to be a married person sleeping with another married person then call yourself “collateral damage” when you find out you ain’t the only one.
But like I said, I don’t like to be judgmental.
Anyway, the source also said they expect that the ongoing internal investigation at ABC “will look into Amy’s past to try to find some scandal.”
“But fortunately for her, she is fairly well-behaved,” they concluded.
Meanwhile, a different source told Page Six Robach is full of it if she says she didn’t know anything about anything outside of her own extramarital affair, because, at the very least, Holmes’ alleged relationship with producer Natasha Singh was “up front” and out in the open.
As previously reported, Holmes and Robach are both still currently off-air and are not working on GMA3 while ABC’s investigation is still ongoing. Last week, an insider told Page Six, “They have not been terminated yet, but I don’t expect T.J. to be on again.”
Yikes!

T.J. Holmes is a wild boy, according to a new report. Before he decided to have an affair with his fellow co-host Amy Robach, Holmes was hooking up with a 24-year-old employee.

A source close to the situation told The Daily Mail that Holmes was allegedly involved in a months-long affair with Jasmin Pettaway, who was 24 years old at the time. Holmes was married to his now estranged wife, Marilee Fiebig.

“He was a predator who took full advantage of his position, and he was reckless,” claims the source who reportedly was close to Pettaway.
Holmes Presented Himself As Mentor To Pettaway Before Things Got Sexual
“It was Jasmin’s first real job in television, and it was a big deal for her,” continued the source, who spilled the tea to The Daily Mail on the condition of anonymity. “She was looking for a mentor, and she reached out to several people. T.J. was someone who was responsive, but he absolutely abused the position of trust.”
According to the source, Pettaway and Holmes joined the ABC News team in 2014, working closely together and working the same shifts.
“Holmes was someone who would grab drinks, and he and Jasmin started doing that,” according to the insider.
The source also reveals that Holmes and Pettaway’s relationship first got sexual on the job, and the pair had sex in the then correspondent’s office just a “couple of hours” before he was set to go on air.
“They had sex, and I know she was confused afterward as to what it meant,” being that Holmes first presented himself to Pettaway as a mentor, according to the insider.
Holmes being the wild boy didn’t seem to care what people thought and “got handsy” with Pettaway in public while out having drinks. According to the report, he was even wearing his wedding ring while being messy.
T.J. Holmes Is Still On Suspension
Holmes and his now-current girlfriend, Amy Robach, are not working on GMA3 as ABC continues investigating. The source claims while his affair with Robach wouldn’t necessarily be grounds for termination, his shenanigans with a subordinate could lead to his firing.
“The feeling is that T.J. and Amy are not coming back,” a source told Page Six. “HR and the execs are looking for a way to hang them, and this could be it for him.”
“He and Amy are equals,” Page Six insider said, “but if he did have an affair with an underling, that is a definite case for his dismissal.”

Former GMA3 co-hosts Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes are still carrying on with their now not-so sneaky links.
Amy Robach was spotted leaving T.J. Holmes’ New York City apartment Wednesday (Jan. 4) — in photos obtained exclusively by Page Six. Dressed casually, Robach gave a silent smile as photographers peppered her with questions about her future at Good Morning America. She and Holmes are currently on leave as ABC conducts an internal investigation into their conduct.

Robach headed off to a train station keeping her AirPods in her ears–the paparazzi followed her onto the train. Marilee Feibig–Holmes’ estranged wife who has filed for divorce finally released a statement via her attorney addressing the affair which became public late last year.

“During the holiday season and in light of the challenging times, Marilee’s sole focus has remained on the overall best interest of her 9-year-old daughter,” her attorney Stephanie Lehman told The Daily Mail.  “To that end T.J.’s lawyer and I have been working together to move their divorce forward privately, expeditiously and as amicably as possible,” said Lehman.
She added, “Notwithstanding, we continue to be disappointed by T.J’s lack of discretion, respect and sensitivity toward Marilee and the party’s daughter. Marilee has been touched by the outpouring of support and looks forward to a new beginning in this new year.”
Feibig, 45, is an attorney and the Chief Diversity Officer for the Save the Children Foundation. She and Holmes met in 2009 and married in Memphis in March 2010. They have a daughter, Sabine, who will be 10 this month.
It was the DailyMail that shared the blockbuster photos of the former coworkers kissing and cuddling in New York City. Since then, they have been seen cozying up to each other in Miami and leaving each other’s homes in New York.
Robach and her husband Andrew Shue are close to finalizing their divorce proceedings. The PageSix report notes that despite have at least two other affairs with GMA staff members, Holmes is confident that he will return to his job at the network.
