Word on the street is Summer Walker is the latest R&B songstress to spin the block after some photos seemingly confirmed she is back with actor Lil Meech.
Summer Walker is still not over (see what we did there?) Lil Meech. Spotted on HipHopDX, the singer hopped on her Instagram Stories to share a photo of the BMF actor kissing her on the cheek and another picture of them in matching jean outfits.
Her most recent posts, which came on Saturday, November 4, come after the singer shared a photo of herself, Meech, and others at a pumpkin patch.
The reunion between the two is taking some by surprise because the “Over It” singer trolled the 23-year-old actor, born Demetrius Flenory Jr, over cheating allegations.
In her Instagram Stories, Walker shared a photo of Meech while singing Mystikal’s hit record “Danger (Been So Long).”
She quickly killed all speculation by insinuating that she was only joking by telling her followers not to take her “humor too serious.”
“My favorite comedians are Dave Chappelle, Bernie Mac, Richard Pryor, & Katt Williams, they say shit and don’t give af,” Walker wrote. “I know this generation doesn’t understand how to actually laugh n move on but yeah.”
Walker’s apparent spinning the block is a significant about-face after she had social media talking August after sharing a bunch of posts in her IG Stories accusing Lil Meech of cheating.
Not too long after, video footage from a Ring doorbell hit timelines, showing the BMF star entering a mystery woman’s apartment and leaving 17 minutes later.
He denied cheating, offering this explanation, “Damn, I can’t help my cousin bring the bags in the house,” he asked. “We went to the grocery store, man.”
X Users Have Thoughts About Summer Walker Taking Lil Meech Back
Summer Walker seems happy again, but X users haven’t been as receptive. Some are even calling the singer a hypocrite because of comments she made about other women.
“Summer walker is the true definition of why you need to shut the fuck up and not mention another woman name to try and make yourself look or seem better/smarter. Went right back the nigga who cheated and embarrassed you. But tried to embarrass Jayda just a few weeks ago. FOH!” one X user wrote.
Another X user added, “Summer Walker is a prime example why men will do what they do to us. I’m sorry this time around I’m not letting no man play with me. Don’t call block, boring conversation block, don’t have time for a relationship block, anything I question about u block.”
All fair points.

Summer Walker is one of the premier vocal and songwriting talents of her era as evidenced by her loyal fanbase who pack out her shows and support the projects she drops. With the release of her latest body of work in Clear 2: Soft Life, Summer Walker is getting some comparisons to a legendary songstress known for the heady vibes after fans gave their first impressions.
Summer Walker, 27, delivered her third EP, Clear 2: Soft Life, on Friday (May 19), a 9-song offering that features J. Cole and Childish Gambino. The EP is the sequel to Clear, released in 2019, and is the first release in two years since Walker’s Still Over It album. Steve Lacy and Solange Knowles add their production touch to the EP’s outro, “Agayu’s Revelation.”
After its release, fans of Walker began comparing the album’s vibes to the great Erykah Badu, who is still very much a leader in the music space and serves as a living inspiration for several other artists. Along the way, the comparisons then morphed into praise for Badu but fans made sure to center Walker as she embarks on a new audio journey.
From the reactions, it appears that Walker is moving away from the vibes of Over It and Still Over It, although the track “New Thoughts” harkens back to some of that earlier material in its own way.

Lil Meech caused a bit of a stir online after a scene in his hit show, BMF, showed more than many previously knew about the rising actor. After Lil Meech and Summer Walker seemingly went Instagram public, folks on Twitter chimed in with their thoughts.
Lil Meech, the son of famed crime boss Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory Sr., and Summer Walker were seen in a series of photos and videos on the younger Flenory’s Instagram Story page. Meech, 23, put a bunch of heart eyes under a photo of Walker, 27, which features the talented vocalist wearing Meech’s huge BMF chain.
Eagle-eyed Twitter users appeared to have confirmed that the pair were a couple late last month but it could just be an overreaction on the part of observers. Meech framed the appearance of Walker on his IG Story feed as a social media takeover, so it could be in connection to an upcoming creative project for all we know.
That said, many online are convinced that the two are now an item especially after some sleuths were able to see a reflection of what appeared to be Meech in Walker’s glasses on a photo that surfaced in April.
Adding to this is proud industry mouf champion Celina Powell sharing a sex tape with her and Lil Meech doing some things in a public bathroom and she also reportedly posted an image of her wearing a BMF chain that was made in 2021, so the video we just mentioned probably isn’t recent. However, none of this is confirmed.
While some folks are just glad the relationship is somewhat confirmed, others are calling it a bad pairing. We’re just reporting the facts here and sharing the reactions, which you can view below.
