Stormy Daniels

Earlier this year, Donald Trump was found guilty in a criminal hush money case for paying off porn star Stormy Daniels to silence her during his 2016 presidential campaign. Now, we’ve learned that the adulterer-in-chief once again tried to give her another payout to keep her from speaking about their relationship during his 2024 presidential run.
Last night (Oct. 16), MSNBC journalist Rachel Maddow revealed that a lawyer for Donald J. Trump tried to pay off Stormy Daniels again to not only keep her silent about her affair with Cheeto Jesus and eventual hush money payment, but so that Trump could flat out deny ever sleeping with her without any rebuttal from the former porn star.
Speaking to her fellow MSNBC colleague, Chris Hayes, Maddow explained that Trump and his legal team are once again trying to purchase Daniels’ silence in the waning days of the 2024 presidential election but apparently to no avail saying, “Trump’s lawyer basically offered to take it off the bottom line. They would pretend that Stormy Daniels owed less money to Trump than they actually believed she owed if she also signed an agreement to not talk about Trump.”
For a man in obvious cognitive decline, Trump sure knows he doesn’t want his disturbing sexual history to once again impact his presidential hopes as he knows that if he doesn’t win he’ll more than likely be sentenced to some kind of prison time in one or more of his multiple court cases across the country.
While most people would just call this hearsay as Trump supporters refuse to believe their “Savior” has any kind of dirt on his hands, Stormy actually recorded her lawyer filling her in on Trump’s legal team wanting to once again pay her to keep quiet. A surprised Stormy replied, “Don’t they know that sh*t don’t work?!” to which her lawyer replied, “It’s not gonna happen.”
In any other election this would’ve been major news, but this is Donald Trump. Given his history of fraud, sexual depravity and denial, it’s just on par for the course in today’s political landscape.
So sad.

Donald Trump is due in court Monday (April 15) in New York to stand trial in the criminal hush money case involving adult film star Stormy Daniels. As a result, the hashtag #TrumpTrial is trending on X, formerly Twitter, with memes and jokes coming in by the dozens.
Several outlets, such as The Hill and CNN are covering the trial of Donald Trump with up-to-the-minute updates from inside the Manhattan courtroom. Trump is standing trial for a criminal matter involving hush money paid to Stormy Daniels to conceal the nature of their relationship ahead of the 2016 election. Trump would go on to defeat his Democratic Party opponent Hillary Clinton but only served one term.
Jury selection begins today with dozens of New York residents going through the process before 12 jurors and six alternates are chosen. It isn’t known when this selection period will end but it can be expected to take days if not longer.
The trial marks the first time a former or current U.S. president ever faced a criminal trial and it also makes him the first former president to be criminally indicted. This matter adds to several mounting legal issues that the business mogul is enduring. Trump is also facing three other indictments, including election meddling in Georgia. He is the frontrunner for the Republican Party and has a strong support base that seemingly looks past his legal mishaps.
Trump opponents online have taken to social media to voice their displeasure and the aforementioned #TrumpTrial features several reactions to the announcement of the trial that don’t exactly land in the favor of Donald Trump.

Donald Trump defiantly alerted his legion of supporters last weekend that the Manhattan DA’s investigation will ultimately lead to his arrest today (March 21) and called for protests in his honor. On Twitter, the former president’s name is trending with high-ranking GOP members and conservative pundits making a mad scramble to defend the beleaguered business mogul.
Donald Trump, 76, still holds massive sway among Republican Party voters and many of his supporters in elected positions continue to revere him. The seemingly blind support for Trump by GOP and talking heads suggest that they believe in his chances to win back the White House in 2024 despite the mounting allegations of wrongdoing and general image mismanagement.
Over the weekend, Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social and predicted his Tuesday arrest while using some of the charged wording that eventually got him elected and transformed the political fabric of the country in just one presidential term. If indicted, Trump would be the first former U.S. president to have a criminal case brought against them.
The Manhattan DA’s case is centered on Trump and his handlers paying hush money to porn star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 presidential election. Previous investigations into Trump’s alleged wrongdoings, including impeachment. conspiring with Russia, and tampering with election results, galvanized his supporters to rally around him at a higher clip than expected.
House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and other GOP officials believe that the Manhattan DA’s case is politically motivated and is an attempt to bring Trump down to size as he’s reportedly leading in polls according to their side. Trump is seen to be the GOP frontrunner for the presidential nomination alongside Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis.
On Twitter, we’ve managed to collect opinions from all sides of the debate and we should state that Donald Trump has not been charged as of yet. When details emerge, we’ll be sure to report on the matter.
