The Love Again actress shared a photos in a carousel post, the first featuring her with the Jonas Brothers member smiling for the camera. The pair looked cozy in a pair of knit sweaters for the occasion. The second photo featured Chopra holding Malti as they gazed out on a serene lake filled with swimming ducks. “My forever valentines…happy Valentine’s Day to you and your loved ones,” she captioned the photos.

Jonas also chimed in on the Valentine’s Day love, sharing a video of him on a special date with the actress. The pair sat a table with glasses of wine and charcuterie as a guitar player strummed a romantic tune in the background. “A perfect Valentine’s Day with my heart,” he captioned the video.

Malti made her first public debut when her dad and uncles Kevin and Joe Jonas earned their Hollywood Walk of Fame star in January. “You are the calm in the crazy, the rock in the storm and I love being married to you and I love being a parent with you,” Nick said to Chopra during his turn at the podium, adding, “Malti Marie, hi babe. I can’t wait to come back here in 15 years and embarrass you in front of your friends.”

Looks like the love Taylor Swift has for Grey’s Anatomy is fully requited! On Tuesday (Feb. 14), several actors from the long-running medical drama hopped on Instagram for a special Valentine’s Day lip sync to some of Swift’s tracks.

Camilla Luddington and Chris Carmack — who play on-again-off-again couple Dr. Jo Wilson and Dr. Atticus “Link” Lincoln — were dressed in scrubs from the show and chose Midnights track “You’re On Your Own, Kid” for their lip sync: specifically choosing lines from the song that are more than applicable to their characters’ romantic tension.

“Summer went away/ Still, the yearning stays/ I play it cool with the best of them/ I wait patiently/ He’s gonna notice me/ It’s okay, we’re the best of friends/ Anyway,” the pair mouths, taking turns. “‘Happy’ Valentine’s Day #greysanatomy,” Luddington captioned the video, to which Carmack replied, “I don’t know about you… but I’m rooting for them!” adding a heart eyes emoji.

Kim Raver and Kevin McKidd also took park in the Swiftie shenanigans. The pair plays married couple Dr. Teddy Altman and Dr. Owen Hunt, and for their lip sync video, they traded Luddington and Carmack’s tension for exhaustion, lip syncing part of Swift’s Lover track “You Need to Calm Down.”

“@camillaluddington and @realcarmack are super cute this Valentine’s Day. I don’t think Teddy and Owen got the memo,” Raver captioned the video post.

Swifties, naturally, loved both posts from the Grey’s Anatomy actors. “The Swiftieism continues,” one fan wrote, while another exclaimed, “SWIFTIES CONFIRMED SO TRUE.”

Swift has yet to chime in but is famously a big fan of the show — she named one of her cats Meredith Grey, the character that actress Ellen Pompeo plays on the program. Pompeo was also invited to star in the music video for Swift’s “Bad Blood.”

Love was most certainly in the air for Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian on Tuesday (Feb. 14). The pair — who formally tied the knot at an Italian wedding ceremony last May — celebrated their first ever Valentine’s Day as a married couple, and took to Instagram to commemorate the joyous occasion.

The Blink-182 drummer shared a series of snaps from his and the Poosh founder’s Valentine’s date, which consisted of a trip to the desert, star-gazing and a breakfast in bed, complete with rose petals shaped into a heart with their initials. “First Valentine’s Day with you as my wife. I love you,” Barker wrote.

The Kardashians star was also feeling the love, and took to the comments section to share, “First Valentine’s Day with my husband … my forever Valentine.” The reality star also took to her Instagram Stories to share more details from her and Barker’s time together; she received a classic heart-shaped cake in red icing that featured her and the musician’s name in elegant script.

The pair’s children also were included in the Valentine’s Day festivities. Reign, Mason and Penelope — whom the Poosh founder shares with ex Scott Disick — each received a mini heart cake with their names written on it, as did Barker’s children Alabama Luella, Landon Asher, and stepdaughter Atiana De La Hoya, whom he shares with ex Shanna Moakler. Later in the evening, Kardashian shared footage of the desert as a thin layer of snow fell, as well as a still shot of the fireplace.

TikTok is working on a feature that will allow creators to charge a price of their own choosing for some videos, according to The Information.

In addition, the popular app is rethinking its creator fund and experimenting with a change that would pay out more to creators than the initial version of the program, The Information reports. The new iteration of the fund may also potentially change the limits of who is eligible; creators might need to have more than 100,000 followers, for example. This “Creator Fund 2.0” could launch as early as March.

“We’re committed to exploring new ways to create a valuable and rewarding experience for the TikTok creator community,” a TikTok spokesperson says in an email. “On TikTok, anyone can be a creator and everyone can enjoy entertainment from our inspiring creators, and we aim to continue innovating this experience so people can express themselves, find their community, and be rewarded for their creativity.”

TikTok originally launched its creator fund in the summer of 2020 with $200 million “to help support ambitious creators who are seeking opportunities to foster a livelihood through their innovative content.” Shortly after, TikTok announced that the fund would eventually grow to more than $1 billion in the United States.

While TikTok’s growth has been meteoric in the last few years, it actually slowed in the United States in 2022, according to The Information, which reports that after the platform hit 114 million monthly users in June, the number has since decreased to 111 million.

As TikTok explores these new features, the company is also engaged in another test in Australia, where the platform is temporarily restricting the use of major-label songs in videos. “This will only affect certain music and is scheduled work while we analyze how sounds are accessed and added to videos, as well as looking to improve and enhance the wider Sounds Library,” a TikTok spokesperson said in a statement. “We appreciate it’s disappointing if a certain track is unavailable or if a sound is muted on a previous video. This change will not be in place for long and not all music is affected.”

Many Twitter users were experiencing bizarre issues that made the social media platform unusable.
Elon Musk’s Twitter is an absolute mess, and users let bootleg Tony Stark know it. Wednesday afternoon, around 4:45 pm, per the New York Times reporting, Twitter’s core features, like direct messages and tweets, were not working for many users for several hours.
Around 6:30 pm, Twitter acknowledged the issues and said it was working to fix the issues in a tweet. “Twitter may not be working as expected for some of you. Sorry for the trouble. We’re aware and working to get this fixed,” the company’s support account said.

While some users could send tweets, others got a message incorrectly telling them they were “over the daily limit for sending Tweets.” Even retweets were not working when users attempted to send one, and they would get this “Sorry! You’ve have exceeded your Tweet limit. Try retweet again tomorrow” message.
The ability to follow accounts was also not working for many. Rex Chapman and many others shared the issue on their timelines.

Was This Done On Purpose?
The Hollywood Reporter reports the company is limiting users to 2,400 tweets a day, significantly impacting businesses and individual accounts.
Per THR:
The company, under Elon Musk, is now placing limits to the number of direct messages and tweets that a user can send per day, according to a page on Twitter’s Help Center site. The daily tweet limit is 2,400, but the site notes, “the daily update limit is further broken down into smaller limits for semi-hourly intervals.” Retweets also count toward that limit.
In response to the THR report, the company claims, “The “limits” mentioned in the article are not new, and were not just implemented today. They have been the policy since 2019 on Twitter.”

Regardless of what they say, there is no denying after Elon Musk reluctantly acquired the platform for $44 billion, it’s been a hot mess, and users are letting him know that.

Missy Elliott was a 2023 recipient of the Recording Academy’s global impact award. The singer received the award — alongside fellow honorees Lil Wayne and Dr. Dre — ahead of the 65th annual Grammy Awards at Thursday’s Black Music Collective event last week, and she’s taking a moment after soaking up praise from her peers to extend a few kind words of her own.

In a video posted to Missy’s feed, Lil Wayne spoke of how honored he felt to be presented with the global impact award alongside one of his idols. “You already know Missy is one of my biggest inspirations in music … because Missy showed it was OK to be you,” he said in the clip. “Missy as an artist, as a rapper, as a musician — that’s a genius.”

Missy, touched by the message, responded in a heartfelt tweet of her own, stating that she is happy Lil Wayne and his talents are being recognized on such a grand scale. “@LilTunechi people don’t see artist go through many ups & downs..it’s not all glamor & glitz but the greatest thing is when you are recognized & I am so happy your getting Your BOUQUET because YOU TRULY DESERVE it also! Love you LEGEND & i am always GRATEFUL 4 your words,” she wrote on Tuesday (Feb. 7).

Timbaland shared a video congratulating his close friend. “You doin’ it big, sis,” he said in the video, which prompted Elliott to share a sweet throwback story about their friendship that predates their careers taking off.

“@Timbaland We come a long way & BLESSED to be from VA,” she shared. “Remember I would come to your house after school and we would do 5 to 6 songs a day until yo daddy would say I gotta get up 4 work y’all gotta go home naw .. Wow those days paid off! I love you bro.”

Lizzo, a fierce and public supporter of Missy and her work, also shared a congratulatory message: “I tell you all the time how much you are my icon, and now you’re getting an award for the global icon of Black music, all music … your impact will forever change music, period,” the “About Damn Time” singer said.

“@lizzo 1st Congratulations on all of your success… Many don’t know the struggles artist endure behind the scenes.. But I watched your come up & hard work & you DESERVE the APPLAUDS. I thank you 4 always being there for me & your kind words I am humbly Grateful,” Elliott wrote in response to Lizzo’s sweet video message.

And while Flavor Flav and Jay-Z did not have their personal video messages shared to Missy’s Twitter feed, she did share a fun moment of the trio interacting backstage at the Grammys with a fun throwback story.

“@SC fun fact Jay said the 1st time he ever rode in a Lambo car was mines over 20 yrs ago now look he probably own a damn spaceship with a alien driver. He always showed me love & @FlavorFlavis always such GREAT ENERGY! Humbled to be around so many LEGENDS,” Elliott concluded her list of thank yous.

Lizzo is the latest pop star to be memorialized in wax. On Tuesday, the “About Damn Time” singer revealed that she has officially entered the Madame Tussauds wax museum and posed for pictures with her wax counterpart in Las Vegas.

“Single-handedly one of the most terrifyingly meta moments of my life. Thank you @MadameTussauds,” Lizzo wrote on Twitter, captioning a video of her nearly sharing a kiss with her body double. “Now I know what a twosome with Lizzo is like,” she quipped.

Lizzo’s wax figure features the look she wore to the 2020 Grammy Awards: a stunning white Atelier Versace dress hand-embroidered in Swarovski crystals. She accessorized the gown — which, according to the pop singer’s stylist Marko Monroe, took more than two months to make — with a crystal-encrusted fur stole draped over her arms. (That night, the pop star took home three awards: best contemporary album for Cuz I Love You, best pop solo performance for “Truth Hurts,” and best traditional R&B performance for “Jerome.”)

The three-time Grammy winner shared photos of her posing alongside her wax figure on her Instagram Story, as well as a series of hilarious videos of her with the wax figure to her TikTok. “Introducing WAXXO,” she captioned one of the videos. In a separate TikTok, she cheekily asked a user, “What would you do with 2 Lizzos?”

Lizzo’s wax figure will be on view at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas in the Venetian casino and resort. Her figure joins the museum’s most recent additions, including Missy Elliott, Beyoncé, RuPaul and more.

Sophie Turner is gushing with pride over her husband, Joe Jonas, and the Jonas Brothers‘ latest career milestone.

The Game of Thrones actress was present Monday when Joe, Kevin and Nick received their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and she took to Instagram on Tuesday (Jan. 31) to express just how proud she is of her family.

“To see the hard work and love and light you boys bring to your music… it’s an honor just to watch from the sidelines,” Turner captioned a photo from the event, in which she, Joe and her famous in-laws posed for commemorative photos.

“After almost 20 years of hard work, you boys are so deserving of this. I’m so lucky to count you as family. I’m proud of you every day,” she added, placing a shining star and red heart emoji at the end of her post.

The Jonas Brothers were equally excited to become Walk of Famers — so much so that during the ceremony, the brothers celebrated the achievement by announcing that their new project, The Album, is arriving on May 5.

“It’s nice to reflect on this nearly 20-year journey and to commemorate it here today, but we’re looking towards the future and what’s coming next,” Nick said during the ceremony. “So with that, I think that we should make a quick announcement. We are excited to announce today that our new album, The Album, will be coming out May 5th, and we can’t wait to see you on tour later this year.”

He just couldn’t help himself. Joe Jonas leaked a snippet of the Jonas Brothers‘ new song “Wings” on social media on Sunday (Jan. 29).

“Guys, we got the mix of our new song ‘Wings’ and, umm, I don’t care, I just want you to hear it. C’mon,” the middle JoBro says before heading inside to the studio where his siblings are taking in the unreleased track.

As the trio blast the song, Nick Jonas can be heard crooning, “You are the wings I need to fly away,” before the beat drops and he tosses the mic to Joe, who belts out, “When you give me love, I feel it/ I feel it, I feel it/ Got me runnin’ through the ceilin’/ The ceilin’, the ceilin’/ And my love, it never had a meanin’/ A meanin, a meanin’/ You gave me a reason, you got me believin’/ You’re makin’ me say.”

“Wings” is slated to be included on the tracklist for the Jonas Brothers’ upcoming sixth studio set, a follow-up to No. 1 album Happiness Begins from 2019. Previously, the band called the song one of their favorites off the forthcoming, Jon Bellion-helmed LP in a sit-down with Variety. (Kevin Jonas also named the as-yet-unheard “Vacation Eyes” as his personal favorite, while Nick was torn between “Little Bird” and “Waffle House.”)

Ahead of the album’s unveiling, Joe, Nick and Kevin will be receiving their very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday afternoon (Jan. 30).

Britney Spears is standing up to her fans and politely asking them to respect her privacy going forward. On Thursday (Jan. 26), the “…Baby One More Time” singer took to Twitter to discuss a recent incident in which authorities were reportedly called to her house on Tuesday night (Jan. 23) to perform a wellness check on her after she deleted her Instagram account.

“As everyone knows the police were called to my home based on some prank phone calls. I love and adore my fans but this time things went a little too far and my privacy was invaded,” Spears wrote in a text post. “The police never entered my home and when they came to my gate they quickly realized there was no issue and left immediately.”

TMZ was the first to report the news, and stated that the Ventura Co. Sheriff’s Office started receiving calls about Spears after 11 p.m. on Tuesday night. According to the outlet, “authorities went to her home out of an abundance of caution,” though the 41-year-old has deleted her Instagram account multiple times prior to the new incident.

Spear continued in her note, “This felt like I was being gaslit and bullied once the incident made it to the news and being portrayed once again in a poor and unfair light by the media. During this time in my life, I truly hope the public and my fans who I care so much about can respect my privacy moving forward. All the love, B.”

Fans calling the police after Spears deleted Instagram comes a little over a month after her husband, Sam Asghari, asked fans to ease up on their scrutiny of Spears’ own Instagram activity. “Social media can be traumatizing,” he wrote in his Instagram Story on Dec. 8. “Sometimes it’s good to take a break. She has her voice and is a free woman.” in the same story, he added, “I have respect for her privacy and I protect it at all times.”
