Selena Gomez is giving fans another look at her unfiltered self — this time, in a throwback photo with one of her closest friends. The Only Murders in the Building actress shared a photo with her “bestie” Connar Franklin when they were experiencing severe bedhead as tweens.

“What do we do during our sleep that this is the result?” Gomez captioned a photo of her and Franklin, much younger and giving a deadpan look into the camera while wearing matching wolf T-shirts. “I thought I never moved.. love you bestie,” the singer added.

While fans praised the singer for sharing a stripped-back and funny, unfiltered photo, Franklin chimed in the comments section to write, “love you [crying emojis] serving some looks lol — the shirts are getting me.” Hulu’s official Instagram account also chimed in, writing, “if you don’t own at least one wolf shirt, we can’t be friends.”

The laidback photo is far from the first that fans have seen of Gomez in recent months. In February, the “Lose You to Love Me” singer was praised for sharing a set of makeup-free photos, also to her Instagram. “Finally a celebrity who shows herself without filters or masks of make up and she is truly beautiful, in a way than could help people ([especially] girls) on understanding that we don’t need so many tricks to appear at our best,” a Selenator wrote at the time. “The most important thing is just being yourself and be proud on presenting you as you are.”

It’s all eyes on BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo, as the rollout for her debut solo album ME continues. The K-pop star is keeping the hype going with the release of a dance practice video for her project’s lead single, “FLOWER,” on Wednesday (April 5), which means fans can now learn the steps to the song’s catchy choreography with ease.

The new visual features the vocalist accompanied by a series of backup dancers wearing all black. Jisoo shines in the visual, wearing a gown made of an ethereal white tulle material and flowers on the inside of her palms that make an appearance toward the chorus’ dance break.

The dance video comes at the perfect time, as Jisoo formally announced a TikTok “Flower” dance challenge, in which fans of the track can show off videos of themselves performing the song’s intricate choreography in their own style. Fellow bandmate Rosé already got in on the trend, sharing a video of her dancing to the track on her TikTok account in support of Jisoo’s release.

The K-pop star’s solo project was crowned fans’ favorite new music release of the past week. A testament to the power of K-pop fans, ME brought in more than 66% of the vote and beat out new music releases from Taylor Swift, Melanie Martinez, Boygenius and more.

Paramore‘s self-titled album has taken its 10th trip around the sun, and to celebrate the LP’s milestone anniversary, lead singer Hayley Williams shared a few words with fans on social media Wednesday (April 5) thanking them for their support during a tumultuous time for the band.
“10 years ago, we put out a record that took a lot of guts and self-determination to make. Mainly because after losing 2 members of the band [Josh and Zac Farro] there was so much discourse around whether or not the band could make anything worthwhile – let alone stay together,” Williams began the message.

She continued, “The story of Paramore has been rife with reality show-style drama. Well, until the last 6 or 7 years. It’s really great to be able to look back from where we are now, knowing the story didn’t end when some said it would. If all that led to our Self-Titled album hadn’t happened, we’d be the most boring band of all time. If we hadn’t been forced out of our trauma-bonded comfort zones, we would’ve never known what we might be capable of.”

After taking a moment to thank some of the contributing musicians on the project — Justin Meldal-Johnsen (production, songwriting, keys and percussion), Carlos de la Garza (percussion, engineering) and Ken Andrew of Failure (mixing, keys and back up vocals) — the singer then turned her message outward to the fans, who she says were responsible for giving the band creative freedom through their continued support.

“Taylor [York] and I wrote these songs having no idea if people would accept a reformed, more liberated version of Paramore. Our fans not only accepted but championed our rebirth,” Williams concluded her message. “Thank you for allowing us the room for creative risk and for keeping this story going. We love you. Paramore forever.”

Released April 5, 2013, Paramore became the band’s first and only album to hit No. 1 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart. The LP spawned four singles: “Now,” “Daydreaming,” “Ain’t It Fun” and “Still Into You,” with the latter two charting at Nos. 10 and 24 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, respectively. “Ain’t It Fun,” in addition to its Billboard chart success, earned Paramore their first Grammy Award in the best rock song category at the 57th annual ceremony, making Williams the first woman to win the award since Alanis Morissette in 1999.

Other fan favorites on Paramore’s self-titled album include the sentimental track “Last Hope” and “Part II,” which references lyrics from “Let the Flames Begin” from the band’s 2007 breakthrough release, RIOT!

Ariana Grande and her brother Frankie had a sibling reunion, and some fun selfies were involved. Frankie posted a series of images from his and husband Hale Leon’s trip to England on Wednesday (March 29), in which the “Positions” singer makes a cameo.

Grande shows up in two of the photos in her brother’s carousel — the first one, with her and Frankie peering down into a phone’s front-facing camera, and a second of the brother and sister duo smiling for the camera wearing black ensembles.

While Frankie decided to go the text-less route for his caption — he put the U.K. flag, double heart and bubble emojis to speak for the post — the pop star chimed in with some sweet words and a few emojis of her own. “Miss you already,” she told Frankie in the comments section of the post, adding bubbles, as well as two sad-face emojis.

Ariana’s time with her brother serves as a nice break from work. Grande is currently filming the John M. Chu movie musical adaptation of Wicked and found time in between working on set to record her verse on The Weeknd’s “Die for You” remix, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 this month. Because fans were inquiring about the star’s lack of music lately, Chu took to his Instagram Stories on Feb. 23 and wrote that the “Die for You” remix was “Proof that I am not holding @arianagrande hostage!!”
