The Wu-Tang Clan remains one of the most influential and dominant Hip-Hop collectives ever assembled, and it appears that they will embark on one last tour for their devoted fans. Announced earlier this week, the “Wu-Tang Forever: The Fina Chamber” tour kicks off this summer and will span North America well into July.
The Wu-Tang Clan began in earnest in 1992 and exploded onto the scene in 1993 with its classic debut album, Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), and continued its winning streak via several solo albums from the core members of the Clan such as Method Man, RZA, the late Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Inspectah Deck, GZA, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Masta Killa, U-God, and Cappadonna.

The tour will launch on June 6 in Baltimore, Md., and travel for 26 more dates across the continent before ending the tour in Philadelphia. Capping the bittersweet announcement, the “Abbott” of the Wu-Tang Clan, RZA, shared a statement.
“Wu-Tang Clan has shown the world many chambers throughout our career; this tour is called The Final Chamber. This is a special moment for me and all my Wu brothers to run around the globe together one more time and spread the Wu swag, music, and culture. Most importantly to touch our fans and those who have supported us throughout the years. On this tour we’re playing songs we’ve never played before to our audience and me and our production team have designed a Wu-Tang show unlike anything you’ve ever seen. And to top it off we’ve got the amazing Run the Jewels on our side,” RZA shared in a press statement.
With the crowd-pleasing and sonically adjacent Run The Jewels supporting the tour, this will be one of the hottest tickets around and looks to be a can’t-miss event.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale this Friday (Feb. 28) at 10 AM local time. While there isn’t a pre-sale launching for the tour, fans will have a chance to join the lines early via the Wu queue 30 minutes before the general public launch.
At the top of next week, Amazon Music and the Wu-Tang Clan will drop an exclusive live EP. A limited vinyl pressing run of just 1500 units will also be available.

Post Malone is the latest artist to hold the title of Record Store Day Ambassador, the annual event has announced.
Set to take place on April 12, Record Store Day returns for its 18th year in 2025, celebrating close to two decades of supporting physical media, independent artists, and brick-and-mortar record stores. Now, Malone has been announced as the artist who is being honored with the title of 2025’s Record Store Day’s Ambassador.

“What an honor, I can’t believe I was chosen to be Record Store Day’s Ambassador for 2025,” Malone said in a statement. “Record Store Day is so important and I really hope to do my part to keep it alive. We love hitting local shops when we’re on the road, seeing all the crazy artwork, the whole energy in a record store is just super inspiring. I feel at home.

“It’s really an unexplainable feeling to hit up a shop and dig through crates, just see what grabs your eye. You can be looking for something super specific and end up finding something totally different. It’s the best. Keep supporting y’all and let’s keep records and these local shops going strong. Happy Record Store Day everybody!”

Trending on Billboard

Malone joins a list of musical luminaries to hold the title, which has been bestowed annually since 2009. Previous years have seen the likes of Jack White, Run the Jewels, Ozzy Osbourne, Brandi Carlile, Metallica, and St. Vincent assume the role. In 2024, Paramore were the U.S. Ambassadors while Kate Bush took on duties for Record Store Day’s U.K. edition.

Traditionally, the Record Store Day Ambassador also partakes in the event by issuing a limited edition release on the day, though the list of exclusive releases for 2025 has not yet been announced. However, considering the success of his F-1 Trillion album in 2024 – which marked his transition to country music and topped the Billboard 200 – it could be speculated any prospective release will be related to his latest record.

“I’m very excited about Ambassador ‘Posty’”, added Record Store Day co-founder Carrie Colliton in a statement. “Musically, he’s all over the place — just like record stores and their customers, especially some of the newest, youngest people to embrace their local brick-and-mortar spaces.”

It’s been four years since Killer Mike and El-P released any new work under their Run The Jewels team banner, and while Killer Mike has been enjoying a helluva run since then, he and El-P have once again connected on a new cut thanks to one of your favorite video game franchises.

This past Wednesday (Aug. 28), Killer Mike premiered his latest Run The Jewels cut, “Detonator” during his appearance on Activision’s Call of Duty NEXT livestream event. The song was created for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, and of course, the joint went hard. Featuring an assist from Rock D The Legend on the hook, “Detonator” once again reminds us why Killer Mike and El-P make a formidable duo on a track as the two spit that Hip-Hop ish where bars based off of content and rhyme patterns are cleverly scripted.

While this will definitely lead to fans calling for a brand new Run The Jewels project, no one knows when or even if that’ll happen, but given the chemistry these two men have when they’re in the studio we know it’s only a matter of time before we’re blessed with some new work when they inevitably get back in the kitchen.
Check out Run The Jewels’ new cut “Detonator” below, and let us know if you’re feeling it in the comments section.
