Four decades of music, one legendary band. Duran Duran’s concert documentary A Hollywood High arrived Wednesday (June 21) on Paramount+.
Released in theaters last year, A Hollywood High celebrates the British rock band’s 40-year career and “love affair with Los Angeles.” The film features new interviews with the band alongside a performance on a Hollywood rooftop near the legendary Capitol Records building, the band’s first label home. The concert footage was shot in Los Angeles in March 2022.

Fans in London can attend a special one-night-only screening of A Hollywood High at Outernet on Aug. 3. Tickets will be available via DICE, according to Duran Duran’s website.

Drop everything: Rihanna just announced a new Fenty Beauty mascara — and we’re already obsessed. The Anti singer took to Instagram on Wednesday (June 21) to show off the latest product from the artist’s beauty brand and gave us a little ASMR in the process.

The “Just a Girl” singer made sure to keep fans updated on her London activities through a series of posts on social media, and we couldn’t help but notice her makeup choice. In a video Stefani posted on Instagram, she announced her arrival in London while cutting to various angles of her hair, outfit and, most importantly, blue eyeshadow from GXVE Beauty.
“So I heard true babe [sic] is trending on Twitter,” she captioned the post. “So excited [for you] to hear the full song this friday!!!”

Now, Netflix is sharing a first-look at their new live-action adaptation of the series (created by Sleepy Hollow‘s Albert Kim), which is set to air in 2024.

The streamer shared a new teaser as well as first-look images for the new series on Friday (June 17). In the clip, we catch glimpses of the show’s symbols for water, earth, fire and air each being imbued with their respective elements, before the show’s title appears. Netflix also teased first-look photos of the main cast in costume, including Gordon Cormier as Aang, Kiawentiio Tarbell as Katara, Ian Ousley as Sokka and Dallas James Liu as Zuko. “Meet Aang, Katara, Sokka and Zuko in Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender, coming 2024,” the post’s caption reads.
For those unfamiliar with the world of Avatar, the original series takes place in a society split into four nations: the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation and the Air Nomads. Within this society are unique people labeled as “Benders” who have the ability to telekinetically control an element within their tribe. The Avatar has the ability to control all four elements and is the only person who is able to do so.
