2024 U.S. Gymnastics Championships: How to Watch & Stream the Tournament Without Cable

The 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships launch on Thursday (May 30) with more than two dozen athletes competing for a spot in the upcoming Summer Olympics.

Olympic all-around gold medalists Simone Biles and Suni Lee are among the athletes competing in this year’s championship. Unfortunately, fellow Olympic gold medalists Gabby Douglas was forced to withdraw from the Championship on Wednesday due to injury. Douglas plans to try out for the 2028 Olympics.

Where to Watch the 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Tryouts

The 2024 U.S. Gymnastics Championships will broadcast on NBC and CNBC and stream on Peacock. The competition is scheduled to take place at Dickie’s Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, from May 30-June 20.

A total of 26 athletes will compete in this year’s U.S. Championships ahead of the 2024 Olympics Team Trials next month. The team trials will take place from June 27-30 at Target Center in Minneapolis.

The U.S. Gymnastics Championships is scheduled to stream on Peacock from 8-10:30 p.m. ET on Thursday and 8-10 p.m. ET on Friday. The championship is scheduled for 8-10:30 p.m. ET on Saturday and 7-9 p.m. ET on Sunday. CNBC will re-air Day 1 and Day 2 of the men’s and women’s sessions on Saturday at 12-2:30 p.m. ET and 2:30-5 p.m. ET.

For those who miss the first showing, the senior men Day 2 session will re-air on NBC on Sunday from 3-4 p.m. ET.

Coverage of the junior men, junior women and Session 1 of the senior women competition will stream on the U.S. Gymnastics YouTube channel.

Lego Releases a New Retro Radio Set: Here’s Where to Pick One Up Online

If you’re a Lego and music lover, the Danish construction toy company has a vintage radio model that intersects with two of your passions.

Exclusive to Lego.com, the Lego Retro Radio (item No. 10334) is a replica of a 1970s transistor radio. It’s priced at $99.99 and drops on Saturday, June 1.

The set comes with 906 Lego pieces that make up the retro radio. It features a clicky on-off switch, rotating dial and side-to-side sliders, a folding handle and adjustable antenna.

Although it might look like a vintage radio, it actually doesn’t play music or work like a transistor radio. However, it does mimic the sound effects of crackling, static and Lego weather reports and call letters with a special Sound Brick (batteries included). Just turn it “on” and spin the dial to find a radio station to play random catchphrases.

It also has a smartphone holder built in at its rear, so you can listen to your favorite songs and podcasts via your go-to streaming app, including Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal and others. Unfortunately, the speakers in this set are non-working.

Characterized as a dystopian thriller set in a near-future America, the A24 film features Kirsten Dunst and Wagner Moura as war correspondents, as well as actor Nick Offerman as an authoritarian president who initiates airstrikes on civilians.

Where to Watch Civil War Online

Available as of May 24, Civil War can be streamed on Prime Video, Ap p le TV+, Google Play and Fandango.

Apple TV+ is free for the first seven days and just $9.99/month after your free trial. Want to extend your trial? Apple customers can get three months free with an eligible purchase, or a one-month free trial by signing up for Apple One, bundling Apple TV+ with up to five other services.

Roughly six weeks after its release in theaters on April 12, Civil War is now accessible for home viewing through video-on-demand platforms such as Prime Video and Apple iTunes for $19.99 to rent, and $24.99 to buy and stream from anywhere.

For those who choose to watch it on demand via Prime Video, keep in mind “rentals include 30 days to start watching this movie and 48 hours to finish once started.”

When Will Civil War Be Available on Max?

The release date for Civil War on HBO Max has not been announced yet. According to Decider, they predict it could come out on Max around late August or early September 2024. If you’d like to plan ahead and see all your favorites, from reality shows to drama and action series, you can access Max on Prime Video, Hulu and Verizon Fios.
