Flavor Flav has been in Paris supporting the U.S. women’s water polo team over the last two weeks. Unfortunately, the team lost to Australia on Thursday, ending its bid for a fourth straight title. Flav reacted with a post on X admitting that he wanted to cry, but was trying to hold back. “[I’m] so proud of this team,” he tweeted. “We still in this.”

Earlier this week, the 65-year-old rapper spoke to NPR about why he chose to sponsor the U.S. Women’s Water Polo Team.
“A a young lady on the water polo team – her name is Maggie Steffens, she put a story out, and my manager read the story and turned me on to the story,” he explained. “When the women aren’t in the water playing water polo they’re home, working active jobs – one, two and three jobs. These girls are out here busting their butt to make the United States look good. So when they’re out here playing and practicing, it takes them away from their work. So I said to myself, why not step in and try to help these girls out?”

Track and field is nearing the final lap of the 2024 Olympics, but it’s not over yet. If you’re tired of watching highlights on social media and want to catch all the action before the Olympics end, we’ve rounded up ways to watch and stream the men’s 200 final and other track and field competitions.
On Thursday (Aug. 8), Team USA’s Noah Lyles won a bronze medal in the 200m men’s final behind fellow Team USA sprinter Kenny Bednarek and Botswana’s Letsile Tebogo, who took home the African country’s first gold medal. Lyles, who contracted COVID earlier this week, wore a mask during the race and received medical attention afterwards.

Also on the Thursday’s roster, Olympic medalists Sha’Carri Richardson and Gabby Thomas helped Team USA win the women’s 4 x 100m relay race and Sydney McLuaghlin-Levrone defended her gold medal in the 400m hurdles becoming the first woman in history to win back-to-back gold medals in Olympic track and field competitions.
The track and field schedule includes the women’s 400m hurdles final, men’s 110m hurdles final, men’s 800m repechage, women’s 1500m semi-final and women’s long jumps final.
See below for ways to watch the 2024 Olympic track and field competitions.
Where to Watch
Because the Olympics are in Paris, live coverage starts early in the U.S. If you can’t make the early bird schedule, NBC airs primetime coverage of track and field and other Olympic events from 8p.m.-11 p.m.
Peacock also offers live and on-demand coverage of the 2024 Olympics. Certain games will also broadcast on USA, E! and Telemundo.
What’s the best way to stream the Olympics? If you don’t have cable or an HD antenna to access NBC and other channels, subscribe to DIRECTV, Fubo, Sling TV, or Hulu+ Live TV to watch live channels.
Not interested in cable? Peacock is the best way to stream the 2024 Olympics live and on-demand. Streaming on Peacock gives you access to exclusive programming, interviews, recaps and more.
Peacock starts at $7.99/month for the base plan and $13.99/month for Peacock Premium Plus, an ad-free plan that comes with live access to NBC. Peacock also offers a student discount plan for $1.99/month and teacher’s discounts plan starting at $2.99/month.
If you want to stream everything in one place, DIRECTV Stream lets you enjoy local channels such as NBC, ABC, Fox and CBS in addition to cable networks such as ESPN, USA, E!, Telemundo, HGTV, Lifetime, Bravo and MTV. Click below to launch your free trail.
What other ways can you stream live channels without blowing the bank? Sling TV is one of the most budget-friendly streamers for cable and local channels (in select regions). Plans start at $20 for the first month.
Beyond track and field, the Olympics schedule is stacked with must-watch competitions, including men’s basketball, women’s basketball, volleyball, artistic gymnastics, water polo and swimming. Check below for a condensed version of the track and field schedule (available on NBC and Peacock).

If you didn’t get the chance to score tickets when they first went on sale in April, you’re not out of luck just yet. See below for details on how to buy tickets to the Sweat tour and how much you can expect to spend.
Where to Get Last-Minute Tickets
The Sweat tour launches on in Detroit on Sept. 14 and wraps Oct. 23 in Seattle. Ticket prices vary depending on the show date, but certain concerts are currently in demand – meaning the price could be higher than usual. Tickets to the show at Madison Square Garden, for example, range from around $315 and up at StubHub and Vivid Seats.
Other in-demand dates include Boston on Sept. 28, and San Francisco on Oct. 20. On average, resale tickets to sold-out dates will run you anywhere from around $350 to more than $700 for standing room only general admission passes in select cities. However, more affordable tickets are available at Seat Geek, TicketNetwork and Ticketmaster, in addition to Vivid Seats and StubHub. You might even find tickets for under $100, provided that you don’t mind sitting further away from the stage.
When shopping for resale tickets, timing is everything. But if you’re the kind of music fan that likes to secure concert tickets early it’s best not to wait on a good deal. And if want to shave even more off the base price, use code BILLBOARD150 to save $150 off $300 or more or code BILLBOARD300 to save $300 off $1,000 at TicketNetwork.

Whether she’s on the vault of on the floor, Simone Biles makes sure that her makeup looks just as perfect as her moves. When it comes to her Olympics beauty routine, the 27-year-old gymnast keeps one of Fenty Beauty’s bestsellers nearby.
Biles was photographed touching up her makeup with Fenty Beauty’s Invisimatte Instant Setting and Blotting Powder during the artistic gymnastics women’s team final last week. The $37 setting and blotting powder — available at Fenty Beauty, Sephora, Kohl’s and Ulta — instantly mattifies and reduce oil and shine.

Biles has a DIY glam routine for the 2024 Summer Olympics and a beauty hack that keeps her makeup in place — no matter what routine she does.
“Tonight I start on vault, and I honestly think that’s the event I’m most nervous for because I don’t want to overpower it,” Biles said in a “get ready with me” TikTok video ahead of the Olympics all around gymnastics final over the weekend. The Olympian filmed herself putting on makeup while jamming to a music playlist that included Victoria Monet and Normani. “I’m doing the Yurchenko double pike which is also known as the Biles II vault,” she explained before showing love to her competition, Brazilian gymnast Rebecca Andrade.
“She’s good! And I would say she’s my top competitor,” Biles said of Andrade. “We’re very similar scorers overall and I haven’t had competition like this in a while, but I’m really excited to compete with her. She’s super sweet and she’s overcome a couple injuries, so to see her out here? Amazing. I’m excited!”
As for makeup, Biles put on concealer, eyeliner, setting powder, contour, bronzer (which she uses as eyeshadow), lip-gloss, blush and setting spray.
“I set my face with two different setting sprays,” she said showing Patrick Starrr’s One/Size On ‘Til Dawn Setting Spray and Ben Nyle Final Seal Setting Spray. Biles noted that Final Seal basically seals the deal when it comes to makeup. According to the product description, the setting spray dries quickly with a matte finish and is used by makeup artists, performers, actor and athletes, but also works for cosplay and other costumes.
Biles, the most decorated gymnast in history, won a silver medal in the women’s floor exercise final on Monday (Aug. 5). The 11-time Olympic medalists won four medals at the 2024 Summer Olympics, including three gold medals and one silver.
Team USA currently leads the Paris Olympics with 77 medals in total including 20 gold, 29 silver and 28 bronze medals.
