SirDavis is expanding into retail ahead of its release on Sept. 4. Last week, Beyoncé unveiled her whisky brand named after her great grandfather, Davis Houge.
The award-winning whisky, a collaboration between Beyoncé and Moët Hennessy, offers notes of tangy Seville oranges with soft “sun-kissed raisins” and “sizzling spices” of clove, cinnamon and ginger alongside notes of Demerara sugar and toffee. The bottle boasts a unique design paying homage to Queen Bey’s Texas roots, while the spelling of “whisky” is a nod to the Scottish and Japanese stylization of the word.

Beyoncé mother, Tina Knowles, celebrated the launch with an Instagram post explaining the singer’s roots in spirits. With its headquarters in Bey’s hometown of Houston, SirDavis is Moët Hennessy’s first spirits brand to be fully developed in the U.S.

“It’s been in the making for years,” she explained. “I’m not much of a drinker but this whiskey is the smoothest most delicious whiskey I’ve ever tasted! Beyoncé comes from a line of whiskey drinkers and whiskey makers!!! Her Great Grandaddy was a moonshine man. He insisted that everyone addressed him as Sir.. yes Davis Houge was her daddy’s grandpa.”
According to the description, SirDavis offers a “rich & buttery toffee” flavor blended with spices, citrusy top notes, hints of honey and a “lingering finish reminiscent of plump sultanas and ripe cherries.”
Beyoncé teamed with master distillers to create the liquor, which has earned several accolades including a best in class honor from the 2023 Spirits International Prestige Awards. SirDavis also earned high marks from the 2023 Ultimate Spirits Challenge and 2023 New York International Spirits Competition.
“I’ve always been drawn to the power and confidence I feel when drinking quality whisky and wanted to invite more people to experience that feeling,” Beyoncé said in a statement last week. “When I discovered that my great-grandfather had been a moonshine man, it felt like my love for whisky was fated. SirDavis is a way for me to pay homage to him, uniting us through a new shared legacy. In partnering with Moët Hennessy, we have crafted a delicious American whisky that respects tradition but also empowers people to experience something new and unique in the category. You can taste it better than I could ever tell you — welcome, SirDavis.”
SirDavis is up for pre-order at ReserveBar and SirDavis.com and will be released on Sept. 4.
The liquor brand will be available in retailers across the U.S., London, Paris and Tokyo and in select airports including Los Angeles International Airport, San Francisco International Airport and John F. Kennedy Airport.

Taye Diggs and Megan Good star in the romantic drama Terry McMillan Presents: Forever premiering on Lifetime on Saturday (Aug. 24).
Diggs plays Johnnie, a man whose life reaches a turning point after he returns home from the military and gets served divorce papers. Good plays Carlie, a police officer and single mother of three daughters who pulls Johnnie over for speeding. Sparks fly between the two but to win Carlie’s heart, he has to get her daughters’ approval first.
Diggs, Good and Terry McMillan are executive producers on the film along with Charles Murray who also directs. Richard Foster and Chet Fenster are executive producers for GroupM Motion Entertainment, Shelby Stone, Autumn Federici and Jake Helgren serve as producers for The Ninth House and Bart Baker penned the script.

Dolly Parton is entering the beauty industry. The country legend announced the debut of Dolly Beauty and gave fans a preview of the new collection of lipsticks on Thursday (Aug. 22).
“I believe beauty comes from within, but a little red lipstick never hurt,” Parton captioned a video on X announcing the collection.
Dolly Beauty is an expansion of Parton’s bestselling fragrance partnership with Scent Fragrances. The Scent From Above collection — which includes Early Morning Breeze, Dancing Fireflies and Smokey Mountain — was released in 2021.
“All of my life I’ve wanted to be pretty, and my new cosmetic line is going to allow me and you to be our very best,” Parton said in a statement. “So, fly pretty, up, up and away. Enjoy!”

Dolly Beauty launches with the Heaven’s Kiss Lipstick ($20) collection available in four shades: Jolene Red, Honey Plum, Rosebud and Birthday Suit.
The shades will range from bright red to pale pink alongside neutral tones “suitable for all skin types.” Dolly Parton Beauty plans to expand from lipstick to include beauty products for your eyes and face. The collection will launch throughout the remainder of 2024 and into next year.
For now, fans can shop the lipstick by itself or purchase a bundle with one of the fragrances from Parton’s collection.
“We are thrilled to introduce Dolly Beauty, as we believe Dolly Parton embodies many generations of women who are excited to experience this connection to one of the world’s most beloved people. Cosmetics is an obvious category for Dolly which has been long awaited by her millions of loyal fans,” said Scent Beauty founder and CEO Steve Mormoris.
Dolly Beauty is the latest business venture for the 78-year-old singer who launched a line of cakes mixes with DuncanHines and a wine collection. Parton will release a cookbook, Good Lookin Cookin’, next month.

Taylor Swift’s favorite football accessory is trending online — and we’re not talking about a Super Bowl ring.
The pop star was spotted wearing Mejuri’s Heirloom Ring during the AFC Championship game in January and as Variety pointed out, the “Fortnight” singer wore it almost every time she attended a Kansas City Chiefs game last season.
The dainty, $638 ring, features a semiprecious stone set atop a 14k band. Swift’s garnet ring is selling fast, according to the brand’s website, but the stone is also available honey quartz and sky-blue topaz, and re-stocked in London blue topaz while supplies last.

The dance-heavy campaign reunites Sivan with Brazilian choreographer Sergio Reis — who choreographed Sivan’s “Rush” video last year — for a high-energy dance routine set to Thundercat’s viral hit “Funny Thing” and shot by Dan Martensen. Sivan and Norwegian-based dance troop CDK Company perform the dance routine in baggy jeans from Gap’s fall 2024 denim collection.
“Being part of the Gap campaign and wearing their denim feels like a perfect fit,” the Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter said in a statement. “Dance has become a staple in my life, giving me confidence and a sense of timeless cool. Troye Sivan x Gap Fall 2024 Campaign

The Australian recording star’s wardrobe for the campaign includes the Men’s Baggy Jean in rigid dark wash denim, Gap’s white Supima Relaxed Tee, ‘90s Loose Cargo Jean in brown, a Heavyweight Zip Hoodie and corduroy jacket.
The dancers are decked out in baggy, extra baggy and horseshoe jeans from Gap’s women’s denim collection, in addition to the Men’s ’90s loose jean, baggy jean and denim cargos paired with Gap’s classic tees, shirting and utility pieces.
Gap’s fall 2024 denim collection is available to shop online and in stores.
