Priyanka Chopra appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast on Wednesday (May 10) to chat about her relationship with Nick Jonas.

Sitting down with host Alex Cooper, the Citadel actress said that she was initially attracted to her pop star hubby after he “had the confidence to slide into my DMs and ask me out” after crossing paths at the Met Gala.

“Literally, like, his message was ‘I’ve been told we should meet,” she revealed. “How cocky! [gasps] So sexy. I love it!”

When Chopra googling the Jonas Brothers singer, the first result that came up was the music video for his 2016 solo single “Close” featuring Tove Lo, which prompted her to “immediately” send the singer her number. “I mean, I knew of the Jonas Brothers but I…different generations, also,” she confessed. “I grew up in India, you know? I was doing Indian pop culture at that time, I didn’t know about the music as much.

“At least a date. That body deserves at least a date,” she said after watching the video. “That video! His voice. That song, still, every time he sings that song on stage for me, like, I get weak in the knees.”

As fans know, the superstar couple got married in a lavish Indian wedding with multiple ceremonies in Dec. 2018 and Chopra told Cooper the secret to their relationship is in their unflinching support of one another. “Like, I’ve found my husband and I have this incredible partnership of ‘I’ve got you,’ and we communicate and we feel a sense of…you know that trust exercise? I would never do that with anyone else except Nick,” she added with a laugh. “I don’t trust people, but he’s one that, just, I know has my back.”

Priyanka Chopra spilled the tea on the Jonas Brothers‘ new music on Tuesday (May 9) in an interview promoting her movie Love Again.

“I love the new album so much,” the actress told The Hollywood Reporter. “And there’s a song called ‘Walls’ — which they’ve performed a few times — which just goes off especially live. So I love [that song].”

Indeed, Nick Jonas‘ wife was on her feet and visibly excited when the band performed the bombastic closing track — which will feature Jon Bellion on The Album — during the final night of their intimate, five-night run on Broadway — where the brothers also debuted as-yet-unreleased songs like “Montana Sky,” “Vacation Eyes,” “Celebrate!” and “Sail Away.”

During the joint interview with co-star Sam Heughan, Chopra dished on her pop star hubby’s hilarious cameo in the film as a douchey gym bro her character meets on a dating app. “I may have broken character so many times,” she confessed. “I was a complete, utter unprofessional on set that day. And usually my work ethic is very important to me, so… But it was just so funny and Nick really was, like, trying to figure out how this douchbag guy would, like, walk or talk or admire himself. And it was just little choices he made in the scenes, like, I was dying. It was very funny.”

Meanwhile, the JoBros’ The Album is set to be released Friday (May 12), the same day the siblings will take over Rockefeller Plaza in New York City to kickstart TODAY‘s Citi Summer Concert Series.

Priyanka Chopra shared a fun fact in a new interview with British Vogue on Wednesday (Jan. 25): she and Nick Jonas have a pair of matching tattoos.

“I don’t have too many tattoos,” she said in the video sit-down. After gesturing to the phrase “Daddy’s lil girl…” on her arm in her father’s handwriting, she added, “Then I have a check and a box behind my ears. My husband has them on his arms because when he proposed, he asked me that, you know, I checked all his boxes and would I check another one?

Elsewhere in the video, the actress opened up about one of the things she loves most about Jonas. “My husband is super thoughtful,” she said. “When he’s around, everything feels like it’ll be OK. He’s taught me to approach things from a much calmer place. I was a tornado — still am — mile a minute, bee in a bonnet kind of person and he’s not.”

Earlier this month, Jonas confirmed on The Kelly Clarkson Show that the Jonas Brothers’ next album is complete and ready to be released sometime in 2023. (“Later this year, there will be a tour,” he also revealed.) In the same interview, the singer opened up about celebrating daughter Malti’s first birthday after a premature delivery that left the baby in the neonatal intensive care unit for more than 100 days.

Currently, Jonas and his brothers are gearing up for three more dates on their Sin City residency, Jonas Brothers: Live in Las Vegas, as well as their upcoming Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.

Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary on Thursday (Dec. 1) by sentimental on social media and posting sweet tributes to one another.

“And just like that it’s been 4 years…happy anniversary my love. @priyankachopra,” the Jonas Brothers singer wrote alongside two photos from the couple’s 2018 nuptials in Jodphur, India — one from the Christian ceremony with Chopra in her custom Ralph Lauren wedding gown and 75-foot train and the other from their traditional Hindu ceremony.

For her part, the actress echoed the happy sentiments while choosing to focus on her pop star hubby. “Find yourself a guy that reminds you everyday that you’re loved. Happy anniversary babe,” she captioned a photo of the lovebirds dancing.

In the four years since their wedding, Jonas and Chopra welcomed their first child, a daughter named Malti Marie, via surrogate last January. The baby initially spent more than a hundred days in the newborn intensive care unit before coming home due to a premature delivery. In October, the first-time parents marked Malti’s first Diwali with messages of “joy and light” to their fans.

Jonas, alongside his brothers Joe and Kevin, most recently performed the halftime show for the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving face-off against the New York Giants to celebrate the (belated) 25th anniversary of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign.

The JoBros are next slated to hit the stage for a free show during the AT&T Playoff Playlist Live! concert series surrounding the 2023 college football national championship this coming January.
