On Wednesday (April 26), the socialite-turned-singer announced Paris Hilton: Live in Concert, an upcoming event that will see Hilton take to the stage at L.A.’s Fonda Theater to perform some of her biggest songs. While Hilton has become known in recent years for her career as a DJ, her new show will mark her first full concert as a vocalist. The event is also set to feature “a variety of popular artists and musical guests” who have yet to be revealed, according to a press release.
Taking place on June 7, the show will also give back to the LGBTQ community as Pride Month kicks off — a portion of all ticket sales will go to GLAAD. Hilton is also teaming up with Absolut as the event’s “exclusive cocktail partner” for the evening, noting the company’s “40+ years of LGBTQ allyship” in a press release.
In a post to her Instagram, Hilton excitedly shared the news of her upcoming performance, telling fans that tickets would be available to purchase starting on May 5. “What songs would you like me to perform?” she asked.
Along with kicking off the “Stars Are Blind” singer’s “Summer of Sliving,” the concert will also serve as the official debut for the new music division of Hilton’s 11:11 Media. “My media company continues to expand, and I am so excited about the launch of 11:11 Media’s music division,” Hilton said in a statement.
The star added that fans of her music career won’t have to wait much longer to hear her first new album since 2006’s Paris. “I’ve been in the studio working on a brand new album, which will usher in a new era in my music career,” she said. “I am very excited for fans to experience my first concert as a vocal performer and the guest performances will be legendary!”
Tickets to Paris Hilton: Live in Concert go on sale at AXS starting Friday, May 5, at 1 p.m. ET. Click here to get your tickets then, and check out Paris’ official announcement on Instagram below:
Jimmy Fallon doesn’t think Tucker Carlson is ever returning to Fox News, like ever. During his Tuesday night (April 26) opening monologue, the Tonight Show host employed the perfect breakup song to describe the conservative media personality’s messy split from the news network: Taylor Swift‘s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.”
Fallon started the bit by noting Fox News’ decision to let Carlson go following a couple of lawsuits, one of which exposed him for disparaging his colleagues. Another, filed in March by his ex-employee Abby Grossberg, accused him of sexism on Tucker Carlson Tonight.
“When asked about the split, Tucker had some very interesting things to say,” Fallon joked before cutting away to a highly edited video piecing together clips from episodes of Carlson’s show. Complete with background music, the final product shows him “singing” the chorus of Swift’s 2012 smash.
“We are never ever getting back together / You go talk to your friends talk to my friends talk to me,” Carlson mechanically says in the Mod Podge of clips.
“There you go,” Fallon shrugged after the video finished rolling. “Thanks for clearing that up.”
Up until Monday (April 24), Carlson had been a top-rated host at Fox News since 2016. He has not yet commented on his departure, while Fox has only released a brief statement thanking him “for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”

Ed Sheeran is hitting the road. Sure, the singer is not, technically, slated to play shows in North America until the June 29 kick-off of his 48-date tour at the Sprint Center in Kansas City. But before that Sheerios can get their Ed fill via the “Subtract Experience Pop-Up,” which will hit New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Chicago and Boston in May.
The American Express-sponsored event is described in a release as a chance for fans to “dive deep into the visuals of his new album, – (Subtract) and experience more #withAmex including limited edition merchandise, official signed CDs, immersive installations and a dedicated in-store shopping experience.”
The pop-ups will be open in all five cities from May 5-7; click here for the addresses and hours.
The last installment of Sheeran’s maths-focused series of albums, Subtract is due out on May 5. The singer released the collection’s opening track, “Boat,” last week and explained the inspiration for the accompanying video that brings home the tune’s lyrical metaphor for depression.
‘Boat’ is the first song I wrote and finished for Subtract, it’s where it all began, and a good way to kick off the album,” Sheeran wrote on Instagram last week. The ballad is the follow-up to the lead single, “Eyes Closed,” from the album Sheeran said he’s been working on for a decade.
“Trying to sculpt the perfect acoustic album, writing and recording hundreds of songs with a clear vision of what I thought it should be,” he previously said about the thematic lines that run through the LP. “Then at the start of 2022, a series of events changed my life, my mental health, and ultimately the way I viewed music and art.”
The four-part documentary Ed Sheeran: The Sum of It All will start streaming on Disney+ starting May 3, featuring never-before-seen personal archive clips, interviews and performances.

James Corden’s final week on The Late Late Show is filled with superstar actors, singers and long-time favorites. But on Tuesday night’s (April 26) show the host took 13 minutes out to pay tribute to a young couple who owe their endless love to a chance meeting on the show in 2015.
In a bit that was rarely repeated, Corden introduced two strangers in “Sidewalk Soulmates,” Daniel and Evelyn, and then invited them onto the show for their first date. “I feel like James possibly knew we had a connection before we even did,” said Evelyn. Flash-forward to March 2020 and the now-engaged couple’s dream wedding plans crashed and burned due to the pandemic. So Corden decided to throw them the nuptials they never had by calling in a few A-list cards for the smiling pair’s third wedding anniversary.
“You never had your big dream wedding reception,” said Corden, who noted that the show had been checking in with the couple for years as their love bloomed. “Why don’t we at The Late Late Show try and throw you a wedding reception in three minutes right here, right now.”
Out came the flowers, a cake and glasses of champagne, and, since their families could not be there, some stand-in best men in the form of the Jonas Brothers. Kevin gushed about how much the Bros have loved the couple… since the moment they met 25 seconds earlier, with Nick adding that Daniel has always been his favorite brother, “mainly because I don’t have to share a dime with you.”
And Joe, well, he praised Daniel for being “hilarious, handsome, loyal… carrying a total catch,” before adding, “but enough about me, tonight’s about Daniel.” The Brothers then raised a toast and Nick reminded them that if they ever break up, they could always reunite for an album and go out on tour. “It worked pretty good for us,” he joked.
After gifting them a round-trip honeymoon to anywhere they want, Corden then sealed the deal by giving the couple the first dance they had planned for their scotched wedding. “We were hoping to dance to Norah Jones,” Evelyn said.
And, yup, you guessed it, out came Jones to perform her 2002 classic, “Come Away With Me” on piano under a giant disco ball as a beaming Corden stood next to the happy couple, who walked to center stage for their proper first dance.

When Billie Eilish first stopped by The Late Late Show, she was an ascending alt-pop kid wonder. Things have moved on. The California native has conjured No. 1 singles and albums, set records, cut a James Bond theme, filled arenas and stadiums around the globe, and her name flapped from a Hollywood broadcast tower earlier in the day, courtesy of an oddball.

Eilish is back from a spell on the sidelines, contributing vocals to Labrinth’s “Never Felt So Alone” and performing with the British artist at Coachella. A headline slot at 2023 Lollapalooza awaits. James Corden, however, is on the way out. The Brit is counting the hours until he completes his eight-year stint as host of the late-night show, this Thursday.
On Wednesday night (April 25), the “Bad Guy” singer joined Natalie Portman on the couch for a chat, and a stroll down memory lane. As he’s done with his guests all week, Corden pulled up the archives, a snap of a young Eilish about to hit the stage for her debut TV performance of “Ocean Eyes.”
“I remember that I was very nervous, and I was very sick. I was sick for like many years,” she recounts. “Everything I did I was sick.”
When Corden came to visit her backstage, he was the “first celebrity I’d ever been up close to.” Now they all want to meet her. True story.
In those half-dozen years, she’s also tried her hand at acting, including a stint in Donald Glover’s Swarm series. What would a dream role look like? “When Swarm was brought up to me, I was like, this is the thing. Donald Glover is my all-time hero. My lifelong hero.”
The 21-year-old digs a festival. Nothing unusual there. Only, when she attends one, she’s enjoying it from the stage, performing to enormous crowds. Expect more of that she headlines Lollapalooza this August. “I love playing festivals. It’s one of my favorite types of shows to do.”
Standing on stage before a ridiculous volume of people, as she did at the South American leg of Lollapalooza, “it’s just a sea… endless people. It’s like a feeling I don’t get in any other aspect of my life. It’s really incredible. It’s hard to be present sometimes, but I would say festivals…it might not be all your fans or your crowd and so I feel like I have to prove something.”

Billie Eilish sure isn’t a bad guy, but the jury is out on a man who climbed the KTLA tower in Los Angeles, with an attention-seeking sign.
The as-yet unnamed man managed to reach the roof and climb the TV station tower in Hollywood, where he waved a flag reading “’Free Billie Eilish.” The other side appears to read “MK ultra sex slaves donald marshall clones.”
Footage captured from the scene late Tuesday (April 25), at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Bronson Avenue near Van Ness Avenue, shows the man dangling the cloth sign, with an electric guitar slung over his chest.

According to ABC, authorities surrounded the 160-foot tower, attempting to convince the man to come back down. Sunset Boulevard was reportedly shut down in the meantime.
It’s unclear what the message refers to, though that hasn’t stopped it from trending on Twitter.
Eilish isn’t locked away. Indeed, she made a coming out of sorts earlier this month by lending hervocals to Labrinth’s “Never Felt So Alone,” which she followed up by performing with the British artist at the Mojave Tent for Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
The “Bad Guy” singer has two full length albums to her name, 2019’s When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, and 2021’s Happier Than Ever, both of which reigned over albums charts everywhere. Along the way, she became just the second artist in Grammy Awards history to win all four of the Big Four categories, and became the youngest artist to write and perform a James Bond theme, “No Time to Die,” aged just 18. She has yet to comment on the strange situation.

Michael B. stepped onto the stage of The Voice on Monday night’s episode to cover Shawn Mendes‘ “When You’re Gone.”
The bespectacled 29-year-old Oklahoma native was assigned the 2022 one-off by the Canadian crooner as his song for the Knockouts — featuring Reba McEntire as this season’s Mega Mentor — where he faced off against fellow Team Niall member EJ Michels. “You never know how good you have it, oh no/ Until you’re staring at a picture of the only one that matters/ I know what we’re supposed to do/ It’s hard for me to let go of you/ So I’m just tryna hold on,” he sang, keeping the verses low and quiet before belting out the chorus.
Ultimately, Michael B. came out on top, with coach Niall Horan selecting him as one of four artists on his team to move on to the Playoffs, which were pre-recorded this season for the first time since season 13. The other remaining members of Team Niall include Gina Miles, Ross Clayton and new recruit Tasha Jessen, who the former One Direction singer stole from Team Blake.
Throughout the competition thus far, Michael B. has made an impressive run, starting with his audition using The Weeknd’s “Save Your Tears.” He later faced off against Ryley Tate Wilson in the Battles by duetting on Giveon’s “Heartbreak Anniversary.”
Meanwhile, Horan is still having a blast on his freshman go-round in NBC’s famous spinning chairs. Just a few weeks ago, he stepped into Blake Shelton’s well-worn cowboy boots to impersonate the OG coach in the faux trailer for “One Last Ride: Blake Shelton’s Final Season.”

Miley Cyrus had nothing but love for SZA on Tuesday (April 25) after the R&B star hit No. 1 on the Hot 100 with “Kill Bill.”
The pop singer responded to a tweet from a chart-centric Twitter account announcing SZA’s new chart victory, writing, “Congrats to Sza for going #1 on Billboard’s Hot 100…Love you!”
Cyrus knows a bit about SZA’s long and winding 19-week path to the top of Billboard’s all-genre chart, considering her own global smash “Flowers” spent eight non-consecutive weeks at No. 1 earlier this year, even blocking SZA’s murderous revenge anthem for multiple weeks on its journey to the summit. (On the chart dated April 29, Miley’s empowering anthem sits at No. 3 behind last week’s No. 1 — Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” — and just ahead of new entry “Princess Diana” by Ice Spice and Nicki Minaj at No. 4.)
SZA achieving her first No. 1 comes directly on the heels of releasing her latest version of “Kill Bill” featuring close pal and frequent collaborator Doja Cat. On the remix, the “Get Into It (Yuh)” rapper kicks off the back and forth with a guest verse equal parts funny and sinister, rapping, “I’m in a funk, so I bought a bouquet of roses/ And cut ’em up on your doorstep, your new neighborhood is gorgeous” before detailing a break-in gone woefully wrong.
Meanwhile, Cyrus debuted a new look earlier this week by going back to her brunette roots on the red carpet for The Daily Front Row’s Seventh Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards. She also showed off the transformation with a social media post captioned with lyrics from “Jaded” off her latest album Endless Summer Vacation.
Read Cyrus’ congratulatory tweet to SZA for hitting No. 1 below.

Swifties are teaming up to pay tribute to one of their own. Following the devastating news that a 20-year-old Taylor Swift fan named Jacob Lewis was killed by a suspected drunk driver while on his way home from an Eras Tour show in Houston, supporters have rallied to honor him with a special friendship bracelet project and personalized GoFundMe donations.

The friendship bracelet project was started by @swifferwins on Twitter, who posted a screenshot of a conversation with Lewis’ sister April Bancroft on Monday (April 24). The direct messages showed Bancroft — who was with Lewis when he died after the pair attended Swift’s Friday (April 21) show at NRG Stadium together — sharing that she and her brother “had the most fun” dancing to “Shake It Off” and that she “looked over at him and saw the awe in his eyes watching her perform.”
“Jacob’s favorite song to dance to at the eras tour was shake it off,” wrote the @swifferwins account. “I think it would be a beautiful tribute to make some shake it off bracelets for each other to remember him, and to shake off the haters and live fully.”

Swifties have been exchanging friendship bracelets since the Eras Tour began in March as a way to make friends at concerts, taking inspiration from a lyric in Midnights Track 5 “You’re On Your Own, Kid”: “So make the friendship bracelets/ Take the moment and taste it.” The call to personalize some of those bracelets in Lewis’ honor has already received thousands of likes and hundreds of retweets in the 24 hours since it was posted, with Bancroft’s blessing.
Meanwhile, Swifties have been flooding a GoFundMe page started by a family friend on behalf of Lewis’ father with tailored donations and messages. In just two days, the page raised $110,000 for Lewis’ funeral costs, thanks largely in part to fan donations in the amount of the “Anti-Hero” singer’s famous lucky number 13.
Many of the Swiftie donations include touching messages borrowing relevant lyrics from Swift’s discography. “Long Live Jacob!! You will be Remembered!!” wrote one donor. “You were bigger than the whole sky. You were more than just a short time,” wrote another.
According to KHOU-11, Lewis and Bancroft were driving home from the show when they had car trouble on the freeway. As Lewis got out and began pushing the car, he was struck and immediately killed by 34-year-old Alan Bryant, who fled the scene. A tow truck driver who saw what happened followed Bryant, and he was eventually arrested by police.
“Jacob will be remembered as a loving and faithful young man who was loyal to his family and friends,” wrote Lewis’ father, Steve, in a heartbreaking Facebook post about his son’s death. “His last act was to push his sister to safety on a dark street. There is no way to describe the magnitude of this loss and the emptiness left in our hearts.”
BLACKPINK is the revolution! The girl group wrapped up its second weekend headlining Coachella by sending BLINKs a heartfelt message of thanks on social media on Tuesday (April 25).
“Still feels surreal that we did this! Thank you @coachella for having us!” the foursome wrote in a series of Instagram Stories showing off their high-octane stage in the California desert. “And to all BLINKs out there, we could’ve never done this without you guys. We are forever grateful. Thank you again for these unforgettable two weeks and hope to see you all again!”
During both Saturday night headlining slots, Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo and Rosé ran through their entire catalog — from early hits such as “Whistle” and “Forever Young” to recent fan favorite smashes including “Pink Venom,” “Shut Down” and “Pink Venom.” Each set also included solo moments for each member, including Jennie’s as-yet-unreleased track “You & Me,” a medley of Rosé’s “On the Ground” and “Gone,” the explicit, unreleased version of Lisa’s “Money” and Jisoo’s brand new solo debut “Flower.”
Jisoo also took to her Instagram feed to share a celebratory selfie with her bandmates, writing, “@blackpinkofficial in your area” with the requisite black and pink heart emojis. In a follow-up post, the ME singer showed off more behind-the-scenes footage from the weekend, captioning the slideshow, “enjoyed pinkchella season to the mostest.” (Lisa also posted her own carousel while Rosé and Jennie have yet to share photos from the second weekend.)
Next, BLACKPINK is set to embark on an encore of their sold-out Born Pink World Tour, starting with a show at Mexico City’s Foro Sol on Wednesday (April 26). The North American leg of the encore begins later this summer with stops in New Jersey, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
