JoJo Siwa Shares ‘Terrifying’ Footage From Armed Home Robbery: ‘Life Is SCARY’

JoJo Siwa took to social media this week to reveal that her Los Angeles-area home had been robbed in the middle of the night.

The Dance Moms alum shared the story in a series of Snapchats, which were picked up by various fan accounts on Instagram. “We were robbed last night at 2:40(ish)AM,” she wrote. “It was an armed robbery which is very scary. It was a REALLLLLY long night on the phone with my security, family, and LAPD.”

Siwa explained that everyone in her family — including her pets — were safe and accounted for and finished the post with a security-camera photo of the two masked and hooded gunmen fleeing the scene by running down the grand staircase in her foyer.

“Do me a favor and hug your people extra tight tonight,” she wrote in the last few slides. “Life is SCARY. And you never know when anything could happen…It’s terrifying.”

Per additional reporting by Entertainment Tonight, Siwa was out of town on a cruise at the time of the robbery and though she didn’t say exactly what was stolen, she said there was “lots of materialistic damage…that can all be fixed.”

Even before the break-in, Siwa has been dealing with quite a few traumas and annoyances in her personal life. Late last month, she shared the sad news with fans that her puppy Tooie had unexpectedly died after getting into a fatal accident. That loss also occurred on the heels of her public beef with conservative commentator Candice Owens, who accused the onetime Nickelodeon star of lying about her sexuality because she was “desperate for attention.”

Was That BLACKPINK’s Jennie & V of BTS Holding Hands in Paris? Fans React

A video of what appears to be BLACKPINK‘s Jennie and BTSV holding hands went viral on Wednesday (May 17), sending both BLINKs and ARMYs into a full-blown freakout across social media.

Captured by French journalist Amar Taoualit, the clip appears to show the two K-pop idols taking a nighttime stroll along the Seine in Paris — though it’s filmed from far away and you can’t distinctly see either of the the pair’s faces. Billboard reached out to reps for both Jennie and V.

Not having exact confirmation didn’t stop fans from jumping down the wormhole online, pointing out that both figures in the video are wearing the same outfits as other pictures circulating Twitter from the same evening.

“#BLACKPINK #JENNIE and #BTS #V #TAEHYUNG dating in Paris. my #TAENNIE heart is screaming,” one fan tweeted, using a portmanteau of the rappers’ names, while another joked “Twitter is burning the whole day” in the comments on Taoualit’s Instagram post.

Others weren’t so quick to assume it was, in fact, Jennie and V, writing things like, “This isn’t a cosplay right??” and “If this is a cosplay they planned really well, this is confusing. Anyways if it’s true, as a fan I will support and we all move. The hate ain’t gonna help fr.”

Last week, Jennie debuted her new capsule collection with Calvin Klein while her BLACKPINK bandmates Rosé and Lisa each recently enjoyed a glamorous night out at the Cannes Film Festival red carpet and a special event for Bvlgari in Venice, respectively

Miley Cyrus Reflects on Her ‘Bangerz’ Era: ‘I Was Harshly Judged’

Miley Cyrus looked back on her Bangerz era — and all the controversy it caused in the early 2010s — in a new cover story for British Vogue published Thursday (May 18).

In the interview, the superstar maintained that she’s “not an attention-seeking person, sitting here as a 30-year-old grown woman” despite the zeitgeist-defining moments of her youth, from that fully nude music video for “Wrecking Ball” to twerking on Robin Thicke in nothing but latex at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards.

“I was creating attention for myself because I was dividing myself from a character I had played,” she explained, referencing her start as Hannah Montana. “Anyone, when you’re 20 or 21, you have more to prove. ‘I’m not my parents.’ ‘I am who I am.’

Cyrus also admitted that she “carried some guilt and shame” for several years after releasing Bangerz because of the public scandal of it all, but these days she gives herself more grace. “Now that I’m an adult, I realize how harshly I was judged,” she tells the U.K. magazine. “I was harshly judged as a child by adults and now, as an adult, I realize that I would never harshly judge a child.”

More than a decade on from Bangerz, the singer is still riding the wave of her latest album Endless Summer Vacation and is mammoth lead single, “Flowers.” In fact, just this week, Cyrus unveiled the sultry music video of her latest single off the record, “Jaded,” but that doesn’t mean she’s not looking to new music that will inevitably come in the (possibly near) future. As the profile closes out, she revealed that an unnamed songwriter recently pitched a track for her to record.

“It was like, you know, the standard f–ked up in the club track. And I was like, ‘I’m two years sober. That’s not where I spend my time, you know,’ she explains, adding that the experience inspired her to write a completely different new song with lyrics she teased in the sit-down: “I know I used to be crazy/ I know I used to be fun/ You say I used to be wild/ I say I used to be young.”

Justin Timberlake Agrees With Viral Comment His ‘Girlfriend Looks Like Jessica Biel’

Justin Timberlake got in on the fun on Tuesday (May 16) after a social media user pointed out the stark similarities between his wife and…Jessica Biel.

The joke started when the TikTok user left a comment on the pop star’s video, writing, “I don’t know who you are but your girlfriend looks like Jessica Biel Congrats!” followed by a pair of starry eyed and thumbs up emojis.

Of course, considering Timberlake has been married to the actual Jessica Biel for more than a decade, he couldn’t resist turning the comment into a bit. In the video, the scruffy singer lowers his orange sunglasses to look directly at the camera and give a knowing, “Yeah. Yeah…Yeah.” He doubled down in the caption of the post as well, writing, “From now on I’m only going by ‘Jessica Biel’s Boyfriend.’”

The former *NSYNC frontman’s more than 1.7 million followers ran with his joke in the comments section with one writing, “I don’t know who Jessica Biel is but you look like her husband” and another joking, “What!!! How you meet Jessica Biel??? you friends with like the Backstreet Boys or something? Wow crazy.” A third used the gag to hint at what they wanted from the pop star by commenting, “Jessica Biel’s boyfriend should totally drop and album or something.”

While Timberlake hasn’t dropped a full body of work since 2018’s Man of the Woods, his frequent collaborator Timbaland teased just last month that the singer’s hard at work in the studio on his upcoming sixth solo album. “Nothing too heavy, just giving you what you’d expect from us,” he said of the project. “Not overthought, the lyrics are not so deep, it’s bob-your-head, dance-to-it music.”

Taylor Lautner Wants Swifties to Know He Was ‘Definitely Joking’ About ‘Praying’ For John Mayer

Taylor Lautner is learning that “speak now” isn’t always the best advice. In a new interview, the actor acknowledged that his recent viral comment on TODAY about “praying” for John Mayer ahead of Taylor Swift‘s upcoming Speak Now re-release may not have been the right thing to say in hindsight, and clarified that he was 100% kidding when he said it.

“I don’t know if it was the wisest thing to say,” he confessed Wednesday (May 17) on SiriusXM’s The Happy Hour. “I was definitely joking. Clearly it’s taken off.”

Lautner also said that, while he didn’t initially realize how far his words would travel, his “diehard Swiftie” wife — who’s also named Taylor Lautner — knew immediately what the outcome would be. “She’s like, that’s gonna really trigger the Swifties,” he continued. “Or, I mean, they’re supportive of it because, I mean, I don’t know. I personally think John is a very talented musician, but I am aware of a couple songs that were on that album.”

The main song in question would be “Dear John,” a blistering ballad widely believed to be about Mayer, whom Swift dated in 2009. The nearly seven-minute track portrays its subject in an extremely negative light, outlining a toxic relationship plagued by imbalanced power dynamics and emotional manipulation — which is why Swifties, though generally amused by Lautner’s comment, probably don’t think Mayer deserves any prayers on his behalf.

Lautner first said he was “praying for John” in an interview with TODAY earlier this week, after which he posted a TikTok once again saying he was “#prayingforjohn.” In the video, he filmed himself literally getting down on his knees and pressing his hands together to pray while “Dear John” plays in the background.

The Twilight star had also remarked in the original TODAY interview that he felt he was “safe” from Swiftie hate ahead of the July 7 release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version). That’s because the song he inspired on the original Speak Now after dating Swift in 2009, “Back to December,” showcases him in a much more positive light than “Dear John” does its main character; in fact, it’s a rare confession from the “Anti-Hero” singer that she was the wrongdoer in the relationship.

“It turns out freedom ain’t nothin’ but missin’ you/ Wishin’ I’d realized what I had when you were mine,” she sings on the 2010 track.

Britney Spears & Sam Asghari Show Off Their Flower Garden in PDA-Packed Video

Britney Spears may have a green thumb, but looking at the amount of PDA she and husband Sam Asghari are packing on in a new video taken in her garden, hopefully, her flowers thrive in hot environments.

The couple showed off their home’s outdoor landscaping in a clip posted to the pop star’s Instagram account Wednesday (May 17), in which they frolic together in the sunshine under impressive archways of blooming pink perennials. “Ok so I’m proud of my flowers,” wrote the “Toxic” singer in her caption. “I’ve been pretty modest about my home!!! I’m redesigning my house !!!”

Some of the clips in the video make it a little difficult to focus on the plants, however, as the pair engages in a hot and heavy makeout sesh on camera. “I feel so blessed to be with such an incredible husband who inspires me everyday,” Spears added. “Have a brilliant day my friends and godspeed ✨✨✨ !!!”

The steamy video comes just a couple days after Asghari made headlines for an impassioned rant on Instagram Stories about his wife’s privacy and media coverage. And though he didn’t mention the project directly, many assumed that his remarks came in response to TMZ’s recent FOX special, TMZ Investigates: Britney Spears: The Price of Freedom.

“I found it absolutely disgusting for the people that were in her life at the time, when she didn’t have a voice, they went and told her story like it was theirs,” Asghari said of Spears’ 13-year conservatorship, which was finally terminated in November 2021. “It was absolutely disgusting.”

“Then all the sudden after 15 years, when she’s free after all those gaslighting and after all those things that went down, now you’re gonna put her under a microscope and tell her story?” he continued. “No. That’s also disgusting, so don’t do that.”

Lady Gaga Looks Fierce Dancing to Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice’s ‘Princess Diana’ in Haus Labs

Lady Gaga is looking like a queen while dancing like a princess. In a new TikTok, Mother Monster got down to Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice‘s collaboration “Princess Diana” — which Gaga says she loves, by the way — and showed off some of her favorite Haus Labs lip products.

Twirling in a circle and flipping her platinum hair over her shoulders, the pop star looks effortlessly regal in her Wednesday (May 17) video. On her lips, she wears one of her new Le Monster lip crayon shades, and holds four of the products up to the camera.

All the while, Gaga dances fiercely along to Minaj’s verse on the “Princess Diana” remix: “I-I-I be eatin’ my spinach/ They tried to clone my image/ They burned they London Bridges/ None of them b—-es British.”

“These NEUTRALS are HOT LIKE THIS RECORD,” the “Rain on Me” singer captioned the TikTok, noting that she wears the shade “maple matte” on her lips in the video.

Gaga isn’t the only one who’ve loving the team-up between Ice — Billboard‘s latest cover star — and her longtime idol, Minaj. The track debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 last month, became the first ever No. 1 on Hot Rap Songs by two co-billed women and has been used in hundreds of thousands of other TikToks.

Meanwhile, Gaga wrapped filming on the Joker sequel in early April. The film stars the Grammy winner as Harley Quinn opposite Joaquin Phoenix in the title role, and will arrive late next year.

“We confirm that Mr Cattermole died from natural causes and our investigations have concluded,” a spokesperson for the Coroner’s Office reportedly said in a statement.

At the time of his death, the singer’s bandmates announced the news in an April 7 post on their social channels, writing, “We are truly devastated by the passing of our brother Paul. There are no words to describe the deep sadness and loss we all feel. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives and are thankful for the amazing memories we have. He will be so deeply missed by each and every one of us. We ask that you respect the privacy of his family and of the band at this time.”

The British pop act —  whose members also include Rachel Stevens, Hannah Spearritt, Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Jo O’Meara and Bradley McIntosh — announced in February that they are reuniting for a 25th anniversary tour of the U.K. and Ireland this fall, including three sold-out performances at London’s O2 Arena.

Earlier this week, the group announced that Spearritt will be sitting out the tour, which is still slated to go forward in October with the remaining members. “He’s always going to be with us,” Stevens said in the clip announcing Spearritt’s leave-taking. “He was such a big part of this tour, so involved in everything that we are planning. And we are just going to keep his memory alive and share it with all of you and it’s going to make it even more special.”

Halsey Shares Sweet Tribute to ‘Twin’ Suga After Performing Together in LA

Halsey took to social media on Wednesday (May 17) to celebrate performing with Suga at the BTS idol’s show at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

“Guested at the forum the other night with @agustd and we performed ‘suga’s interlude’ for the first time ever live!” she wrote alongside a slideshow of the pair posing together and performing onstage. “I’ve shared a stage with my friend many times, but never alone and never like this. When the song ended all we could do was laugh because it was just a feeling of ‘woah that just happened?!’ after knowing each other for 7 years.

“I call Suga ‘twin’ for a lot of reasons,” the nonbinary pop star continued. “We have the same smile, we have a lot of shared interests, sometimes we even have the same haircut. But I mostly say it because we seem strangely (and sometimes wordlessly) connected on a creative wavelength. Watching him perform his solo concert was an incredible experience. He is a true artist, which I’ve always known. But seeing the energy, versatility, creativity, and courageous darkness of the show blew me away. Moments like these remind me why we are so fortunate to have this way of expressing ourselves. I am so grateful!”

Halsey finished off her post by thanking her “twin” for inviting her to the show and sending a thank-you message to ARMY for “as always, singing your hearts out and making me feel right at home.”

The “I Am Not a Woman, I’m a God” singer also hyped up the release of D-DAY, Suga’s debut album under his Agust D moniker, when it dropped in April, writing, “Lessss goooooo @agustd ALBUM IS OUT!!!”

The Weeknd Laughs at Lady Gaga-Inspired Meme Poking Fun at Killing Off His Stage Name

The Weeknd took to social media to show his appreciation for a meme poking fun at his famous stage name, with some help from Lady Gaga.

“The assistant in the record store when I ask if they have any Abel Tesfaye albums in stock,” a Twitter user cleverly wrote, using a clip of Mother Monster singing, “We only have the weekend,” on her Chromatica Ball Tour. (The lyric is the opening line of Gaga’s bombastically biblical Chromatica closer “Babylon.”)

The R&B crooner found the rather perfectly applied joke amusing, as evidenced by the single laugh-crying emoji he used to retweet the now-viral meme.

The confusion between The Weeknd’s legal name and stage name may be warranted for the casual listener, but the idea of an Abel Tesfaye record could be more than a jokey hypothetical soon: The superstar has made it clear in recent interviews that he intends to “kill” his longtime alter ego in the near future. “I’ll still make music, maybe as Abel, maybe as The Weeknd. But I still want to kill The Weeknd. And I will. Eventually,” he said in a cover story for W magazine earlier this month. “I’m definitely trying to shed that skin and be reborn.”

Since then, he’s changed the profile names of his various official social channels to his given name as he prepares for the imminent premiere of his much-hyped HBO music industry drama The Idol.

Check out The Weeknd’s jovial reaction to the Gaga-inspired meme about his stage name below.
