Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Enjoy Dinner Date Amid Eras Tour Shows in Buenos Aires

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce enjoyed a night out in Buenos Aires, Argentina, while the pop superstar continues the South American leg of her Eras Tour.

On Friday (Nov. 10), Swift and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end were spotted on a dinner date at Argentinian steakhouse Elena, a restaurant in the Four Seasons Hotel, according to People. The lovebirds were reportedly joined by Swift’s father, Scott Kingsley Swift.

The “Cruel Summer” singer and NFL star were caught on camera holding hands while entering the dining establishment, as seen in a fan-captured video on X (formerly Twitter). In another clip, the pair receives cheers from people in the background as they walk into the restaurant.

The timing of the Friday night date worked out well, as Swift was forced to postpone her second Eras show at Buenos Aires’ Estadio River Plate due to dangerous weather conditions and because Kelce’s football team is on their bye week.

Swift launched the international leg of her Eras Tour on Thursday (Nov. 9). During the show, she delivered her nightly two surprise songs. For her first concert in Buenos Aires, the “Maroon” singer offered up “The Very First Night,” followed by the Midnights deep cut “Labyrinth.”

“Uh oh, I’m falling in love/ Oh no, I’m falling in love again,” Swift smiled while singing the chorus of “Labyrinth,” prompting Swifties to flood X with speculation that she’s singing about Kelce.

“MY GIRL IS SMITTEN,” tweeted one fan. “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TRAVIS KELCE.”

Kelce didn’t attend Swift’s first Buenos Aires show on Thursday, but he had good reason for missing the event. The Chiefs star was instead at teammate Patrick Mahomes’ fourth annual 15 and Mahomies Foundation Gala in Kansas City. Kelce was spotted in video from the event shared on the foundation’s Instagram Stories. In one clip, he stood up at his table and clapped in thanks to the cheers from attendees after he received recognition for becoming the team’s all-time leading receiver during a recent game against the Miami Dolphins.

Adele Tells Las Vegas Crowd She’s Ready to Drink Again: ‘This Is Red Wine Weather’

Adele‘s break from drinking appears to be over.

The British songstress, 35, told her Las Vegas residency audience that she’s ready to enjoy an alcoholic beverage as she prepares to take some time off before launching her 2024 Weekends With Adele shows at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

“I’m just going to chill. I’m annoyed as well that I’m sick because this is red wine weather,” Adele told fans, according to a Daily Mail report on Wednesday (Nov. 8). “I stopped drinking, but obviously now I’m ready to start again because it is my break.”

The 16-time Grammy winner announced in October that she’ll be extending her Weekends With Adele show into mid 2024. The 32-date run begins Jan. 19 and ends June 15.

“I can’t drink red wine ever when I’m singing because I don’t know about you, but red wine f—s me up. I cannot handle it,” the singer said between songs, adding that she’s shifted to sparkling water and half white wine with ice.

“A glass of red wine tips me over the edge,” she added. “I have the worst hangover, my whole mouth and tongue turns red. I look like a disaster and it just gets rid of my voice.”

The “I Drink Wine” singer recently shared with fans that she had given up drinking liquor in recent months. The revelation came during a mid-October concert when she spotted an audience member enjoying an alcoholic beverage.

“I stopped drinking quite a long time ago… I stopped drinking, when did I stop drinking? It feels like forever. Maybe like three-and-a-half months ago,” Adele said. “It’s boring. I mean, oh my God, it’s boring. I was literally borderline alcoholic for quite a lot of my 20s, but I miss it so much. I cut out caffeine, so enjoy your whiskey sour. I’m very, very jealous.”

The superstar has been vocal about drinking in the past, telling Vogue in a November 2021 feature that she was “fascinated by alcohol” because it’s what took away her absentee father, Mark Evans (who died of bowel cancer May 2021 and, according to People, was gone for most of Adele’s life after her parents’ divorce when she was 3 years old).

“I’ve always had a very close relationship with alcohol. I was always very fascinated by alcohol. It’s what kept my dad from me. So I always wanted to know what was so great about it,” she told the magazine.

Adele also spoke with Oprah in the same month about abstaining from alcohol, noting that quitting it is an incredible tool for self-reflection. “That’s one great way of really sort of getting to know yourself, is just drinking water and being sober as anything,” the artist said.

Miley Cyrus Celebrates Her Grammy Nominations: ‘Watching Women Win & Rule the Music Industry Makes Me Proud’

Miley Cyrus scored her first Grammy nomination for her own music in over a decade on Friday (Nov. 10). Hours after the Recording Academy’s announcement of the 2024 Grammy nominations, the “Used to Be Young” singer took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a message of gratitude.

“Congratulations to all of this [year’s] Grammy nominees. Watching women win & rule the music industry makes me proud,” she wrote. “It’s fun to be nominated & exciting to win but having my music be LOVED around the world is the real trophy.”

“To my Smilers – I celebrate YOU today. Your joy is my bliss,” she continued. “My team + all of my collaborators are irreplaceable & priceless pieces of this puzzle. I love you all. Thank you for making my Endless Summer Vacation so sweet.”

The 2024 Grammy nominations were dominated by women, with SZA (nine), Victoria Monét and Phoebe Bridgers (seven each) leading the pack. Cyrus scored six nods, including album of the year for Endless Summer Vacation, best pop duo/group performance for her Brandi Carlile-assisted “Thousand Miles” and three nominations — best pop solo performance and record and song of the year — for her Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 smash hit “Flowers.”

Cyrus’ six new Grammy nominations are a sweet bookend to what has been a dominant year for the chameleonic pop star. At the top of the year, “Flowers” spent eight weeks atop the Hot 100, while its parent album, Endless Summer Vacation, climbed all the way to No. 3 on the Billboard 200, becoming her 14th top 10 entry on the ranking. An additional Hot 100 top 10 hit arrived in September by way of “Used to Be Young” (No. 8), a bonus track added to an Aug. 25 digital reissue of Endless Summer Vacation.

Swifties Thank Travis Kelce for Taylor Swift Performing ‘Labyrinth’ on Eras Tour

Oh no, she’s falling in love again … or so it seems. Taylor Swift picked up right where she left off on the Eras Tour with her first of three shows in Argentina Thursday night (Nov. 9), returning to her nightly routine of singing two surprise songs — one of which brought Travis Kelce to mind for many fans.

After performing “The Very First Night” on guitar, the 33-year-old pop star moved over to her piano for an enchanting acoustic rendering of “Labyrinth,” a Midnights deep cut known for its vulnerable lyrics and trumpeting synth waves. After videos of the song popped up online, Swifties were quick to note that Swift seemed particularly smiley while singing the hook, “Uh oh, I’m falling in love/ Oh no, I’m falling in love again.”

Many wondered whether a certain Kansas City Chiefs tight end had anything to do with Swift’s demeanor, while others were under the impression that they don’t have to wonder at all. “TRAVIS KELCE I ADORE YOU FOR THIS,” tweeted one fan who shared a clip of the “Anti-Hero” singer’s performance.

“MY GIRL IS SMITTEN,” wrote another. “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TRAVIS KELCE.”

Swift has been linked to Kelce since September, when the 12-time Grammy winner first attended one of the athlete’s games at Arrowhead Stadium. She’s gone to several more in the months since, and the two have been spotted holding hands on a few occasions (most notably as they departed Saturday Night Live after both made surprise cameos).

After she wraps up in Argentina, Swift will move on to Brazil, Japan, Australia and Singapore. From there, she’ll take her blockbuster trek through Europe and Canada.

Jung Kook Surprises ARMY With Concert in Times Square: See the Photos

The Golden Maknae of BTS just keeps on shining. On Thursday (Nov. 9), Jung Kook graced the TSX Entertainment stage in New York City for a surprise performance of several songs off his brand new debut solo album, Golden.

The first permanent stage in Times Square, the TSX stage saw electrifying renditions of Golden singles “Seven” (with Latto) and “3D” (with Jack Harlow), both of which hit the top five of the Billboard Hot 100, with the former peaking at No. 1. During his performance of “3D,” Jung Kook delivered his entire rap verse and interacted with the crowd as the track played Harlow’s guest verse. The BTS star performed full choreography for both “Seven” and “3D,” as well as “Standing Next to You,” which was recently treated to a Michael Jackson-inspired music video. While powering through “Standing Next to You,” Jung Kook took a moment to pause and listen to the crowd go wild for him.

Non-NYC fans were able to tune into the free event on Xbox‘s Twitch channel. “ARMY, please don’t change,” he urged the crowd, speaking to those in person and those tuning in online all over the world. Those same fans were a driving force in the massive success of Golden’s singles — particularly “Seven,” which recently became the fastest song to reach one billion streams in Spotify history. Golden also features production and writing contributions from Major Lazer, DJ Snake, Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes.

“We are honored to co-create this historic moment for Jung Kook and the entire BTS group. His solo journey has already made history with multiple chart-topping singles, and we’re fully confident that this album will continue the trend,” said Nick Holmsten, TSX Entertainment co-CEO, in a statement. “This marks a pivotal moment in music, particularly for K-pop fans, and holds great significance for both Times Square and New York City.”

Dua Lipa, “Houdini” 



While “Houdini,” which will kick off Dua Lipa’s third album era, arrives with plenty of anticipation, Lipa’s Barbie soundtrack single “Dance The Night” — which has blossomed into one of the bigger top 40 hits of 2023 — offered a subtle hint at the direction in which the 28-year-old is steering her discography. Future Nostalgia is both behind and in front of Lipa: she is tinkering with the edges of popular dance music, refining her pop stylings, doubling down on a successful sound while heightening its pressure points. “Houdini” is a one-listen blast, but it’s also a high-wire act, each second whirring with production tidbits that coalesce into a three-minute wallop.

The Kid LAROI, The First Time 



Leading up to new album The First Time, The Kid LAROI has struck a variety of sonic poses and demonstrated an impressive versatility — it’s how his tone can work alongside an artist like Jung Kook on the pop track “Too Much,” sound comfortable spitting next to Future on “What’s The Move?,” or recall the acoustic alt-rock of breakout hit “Without You” on recent single “Bleed.” The constant within that artistry, however, remains his melodic instincts: LAROI is one of the most effortless hook-deployers in modern music, and The First Time is rife with hummable moments.

PinkPantheress, Heaven knows 



In the middle of the track list of PinkPantheress’ new album is a song titled “Internet baby (interlude)” — which, at 2 minutes and 11 seconds, is actually longer than the mesmerizing Kelela collaboration “Bury me” that immediately precedes it. Such is the experimental approach to rhythmic pop that the British artist has adopted, and while Heaven knows plays with time and space, the 34-minute project boasts PinkPantheress’ most complete vision to date, the collaborations carefully curated and the solo tracks (particularly on the final stretch of the album) brimming with full-hearted observations.

Chris Stapleton, Higher 



Chris Stapleton has been nominated for entertainer of the year at the CMA Awards in seven of the past eight years, a stat that showcases his consistency within country music over the last decade — and while Higher adds some new tricks to his bag, Stapleton’s latest is also sensible enough to spotlight the powerhouse voice and grounded storytelling that have been his calling cards for years. The strongest moments oscillate between amped-up energy, like the rollicking lead single “White Horse,” and gently delivered wisdom, like the soft, gorgeous “Trust.”

Rick Ross & Meek Mill, Too Good To Be True 



The final song on Rick Ross and Meek Mill’s joint album Too Good To Be True is a remix of their single “Shaq & Kobe,” featuring Shaquille O’Neal and Damian Lillard rapping against each other; elsewhere, on “Go To Hell,” the pair operates over an audacious sample of Tears For Fears’ “Shout.” The two songs speak to the wily attitude of Ross and Meek on this deeply enjoyable Maybach Music Group production: after more than a decade of grinding out anthems separately and together, the two stars still possess a sense of urgency, but are taking more risks and generally having more fun with their crafts.

Editor’s Pick: Jonas Brothers feat. Bailey Zimmerman, “Strong Enough” 



“Been a hell of a week, but we made it,” Bailey Zimmerman sings to open “Strong Enough,” the rising country star’s new team-up with the Jonas Brothers. That raised-glass declaration then leads into one of the JoBros’ more convincing genre crossovers to date: with a hook that recalls “Waffle House,” the standout track from this year’s The Album, Nick, Joe and Kevin conjure compelling country-pop, with Zimmerman as something of a sonic guide. “Strong Enough” should be your next TGIF anthem, and might point to a fruitful detour for Jonas Brothers’ future output.

5 Highlights From Taylor Swift’s First of Three Sold-Out Shows in Buenos Aires

When Taylor Swift announced in June that she would be performing in Argentina for the first time ever as part of her Eras Tour, tickets to her three shows sold out within hours. Excitement has only grown since then, and finally, on Thursday, Nov. 9, the wait came to an end as 70,000 sang along during her first show, where she performed nearly 45 songs spanning her entire career.

The show, the first of three at Buenos Aires’ Estadio Monumental (also known as Estadio River) and produced by DF Entertainment (the company owned by promoter Diego Finkelstein), featured Argentine artist Louta and Sabrina Carpenter as opening acts. It began precisely at 8:42 p.m., when Swift appeared on an elevated stage singing “Cruel Summer,” after “Miss Americana” played during the intro. Following the opening performance, she shouted, “Buenos Aires, bienvenidos a The Eras Tour!”

Here are some highlights of the night.

Six Months Camping

Thousands of fans waited impatiently for 3 p.m., the exact time when security was scheduled to open the gates to allow access to the field, the closest location to the main stage. Some Swifties camped outside the stadium for six months to be close to the front of the field, and the minute the gates opened, they sprinted the 100 meters to get the best standing room in the house.

Taylor Gets on Stage

Finally. Swift sets foot on the stage of Estadio Monumental singing “Cruel Summer.” The audience screams, and Taylor speaks to her happiness at being in Argentina for the first time. “Buenos Aires, bienvenidos to The Eras tour!” she shouted. “I am so very lucky because they very first time I decided to visit Argentina, you decided to sell out three shows […] They way you are dancing, the way you are singing, this is on another level.”

The Nerves of the Moment

Swift kicked off the fourth block of the show with “Champagne Problems,” a track she’s performed hundreds of times before. However, when time came to play it at the Monumental, the superstar lost her place at the piano. Far from making it a negative, she found humor in the situation. “This is what Argentines do,” she quipped.

Two-Minute Ovation

Weeks before, Swift’s fandom, via social media, had agreed to do different actions during her show, including lifting posters in certain songs, or reflecting the Argentine flag with their cellphones. Another planned moment was a two-minute ovation to thank Swift for performing in their country. At that point, Swift took out her in-ears and said, “I can’t believe it.”

Emotion Til the Very End

The show is a roller coaster of emotions. For example, Swift gave her hat to a little girl during “22,” and at one point, she stopped the show completely to listen to the crowd roar. But the end of the show will be memorable to all Argentine Swifties. Screams, applause, wristbands high and our country’s message to Taylor: “Argentina loves you. Come back soon.”

PinkPantheress Drops Her Debut Album ‘Heaven Knows’: Stream It Now

After years of making her mark on the music scene, PinkPantheress is ready to properly introduce herself with her debut album, Heaven Knows, out Friday (Nov. 10) via Warner UK.

“This album is an accumulation of music i’ve made over the last two years,” she wrote in her Instagram announcement last month. “I love everyone here, i cried the other day thinking of how lucky i am to have people willing to listen to me, you are never taken in vain. to my fanpages, i love you, you’re always there for me and i will never forget about how safe you make me feel. it’s been a long time comin from pain to capable of love, i hope you love each song you hear from me!”

Heaven Knows arrives two years after her debut mixtape To Hell With It, which she released on Oct. 15, 2021, via Parlophone and Elektra Records. To Hell With it reached No. 73 on the Billboard 200. She dropped the remixes edition of the project on Jan. 28, 2022.

But in her recent i-D cover story, she said she “had to level up” with her first full-length album. “I couldn’t just use loops anymore. I had to get other people to come in,” PinkPantheress said of her previous sample-heavy musical style. Heaven Knows includes features from Rema (“Another Life”), Central Cee (“Nice to Meet You”), Kelela (“Bury Me”) and Ice Spice (“Boys a Liar, Pt. 2”) — the latter of which reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 — as well as previously released singles “Mosquito” and “Capable of love.”

Jung Kook Performs Surprise Times Square Show in NYC

Jung Kook is fresh off the release of his highly anticipated solo album, Golden, and he celebrated by giving fans a special treat.

The 26-year-old BTS superstar took the stage at TSX Entertainment on Thursday (Nov. 9), the first permanent stage located in the heart of New York City’s Times Square, to give a surprise show. Dressed in all Calvin Klein, Jung Kook performed several songs from Golden.

Fans who didn’t get to watch the show in person got to tune in from Xbox’s Twitch channel and had the chance to win custom Jung Kook Xbox Series X consoles and also score themselves Game Pass codes to play their next favorite game

Golden, which dropped Friday (Nov. 3), features Jung Kook’s Billboard Hot 100 chart No. 1 hit single with Latto, “Seven,” as well as his new song with Jack Harlow, “3D.” His favorite song on the album, however, is “Standing Next to You,” and he says he’s looking forward to performing it live. “Of course, the song itself is great, but more than that, it just allowed me to see this grandiose picture when I heard the song and I could see myself right away performing on stage with that song,” he told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe earlier this week. “It has a very special place in my heart because the recording process was really difficult. But one thing that I would like to ask of ARMY is to not listen to it with earphones on or with their smartphone, but to listen to it loud on a loud speaker.”

Joined by her guitarist Jaco Caraco, Clarkson performed an acoustic rendition of “Low” off her debut album, Thankful, which was released in 2003 via RCA Records, just seven months after she won the first season of American Idol in 2002.

“Have you ever been low? / Have you ever had a friend that let you down so? / When the truth came out / Were you the last to know? / Were you left out in the cold? / ‘Cause what you did was low,” she sang in the chorus of the heartbreaking track, dressed in a black velvet, low-cut maxi dress.

Thankful, which featured hits like “A Moment Like This” and “Miss Independent,” which topped the Billboard 200 albums chart upon its release. “A Moment Like This,” which Clarkson famously performed during the American Idol finale when she was announced as winner, also topped the Hot 100 songs chart in 2002.
