Swifties consider the imagery to be Reputation-coded, since the pop star’s original Rep album cover depicts her in black and white.
With the sudden shift on social media, fans wondered whether a Reputation (Taylor’s Version) announcement was imminent and speculated about the chances of it happening on the night of the Grammys, where Swift is nominated for six awards.
“If she ends her damn acceptance speech with ‘there will be no explanation there will just be reputation’ and just walks off. Like, what do we do? What’s the protocol?” one fan tweeted.
Later on Sunday, Swift’s website was down — and showing a seemingly custom “321” error code, along with an unexplained message: “hneriergrd.” If this is a signature Swift Easter egg, “hneriergrd” can be unscrambled to spell out “red herring.”
“REPUTATION STANS RISE IT’S OUR TIME TO SHINE,” another Swiftie wrote on X.
Although Swift isn’t scheduled to perform at Sunday night’s awards ceremony in Los Angeles, she is expected to attend.
For this year’s event, she was nominated for album of the year and best pop vocal album for Midnights; best pop solo performance, song of the year and record of the year for “Anti-Hero,” and best pop duo/group performance for her “Karma” remix with Ice Spice.
With the Super Bowl being just a week after the Grammy Awards, Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, recently said he won’t be able to attend the show to support his girlfriend.
“I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for,” Kelce said in a Pat McAfee Show interview on Jan. 31, before explaining that the weekend will be filled with practice and traveling to Las Vegas for the game. “Unfortunately, I’ve got to get ready for this big ol’ Super Bowl we got in a week.”
Following the Grammys, Swift picks up her Eras Tour with four concerts at the Tokyo Dome in Japan from Feb. 7-10.
She’ll likely be able to make it to see the Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers at the Super Bowl on Feb. 11 before flying out to Melbourne, Australia, to continue her international tour. The Embassy of Japan even assured fans that Swift will have time to get to Vegas after her Tokyo shows, writing in a statement: “Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins. We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red.”

Taylor, who’s in a relationship with Travis, has been attending her beau’s games since late September — and the NFL’s network partners have made the most of televising cutaways to the pop star as she cheers him on. Her regular attendance at Chiefs games has boosted TV ratings, ticket sales and jersey sales, and resulted in an uptick in social media followers for NFL- and Chiefs-associated accounts.
“The attention is there because the audience wants to see it,” Jason told Caleb Noe, a reporter for Cincinnati ABC affiliate WCPO 9, in a recent interview. “I mean, if people didn’t want to see it, they wouldn’t be showing it. I know that.”
“She’s a world star,” Jason said. “She’s the quintessential artist right now in the world, singer-songwriter, immensely talented, unbelievable role model for young women across the globe. So I think that the NFL would probably be foolish not to, you know, show her and be a role model for all the young girls out there.”
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell told CBS Mornings in November, “I think it’s great for the league to have that kind of attention. We welcome it.”
On the latest episode of their joint podcast New Heights, the Kelce brothers reflected on the Chiefs’ Jan. 28 AFC Championship win against the Baltimore Ravens.
Swift was in the crowd along with the Kelce family at M&T Bank Stadium in Maryland from start to finish, and afterward on the field to celebrate the Chiefs being Super Bowl-bound. She kissed Travis on live TV, and Travis audibly told her “I love you” on the field.
“Shout-out to the newest members of the Chiefs Kingdom,” Jason joked on the Jan. 31 episode of the podcast. “Taylor Swift, who has officially reached the Super Bowl in her rookie year.”
Swift has a show in Tokyo the day before the Super Bowl, which is taking place in Las Vegas. The Embassy of Japan is assuring fans that the superstar will have time to make it to the game after her Eras Tour plays at the Tokyo Dome from Feb. 7-10.
“The Embassy of Japan in the United States is aware of recent media reports concerning the steps Taylor Swift will need to take to travel from Tokyo after her concert on February 10th to Las Vegas in time to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play in Super Bowl LVIII,” a Feb. 2 statement read.
“Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins.

Justin Timberlake is under the weather but still hard at work promoting his new song “Selfish.”
The pop star posted a video of himself performing an acoustic version of the single on Instagram on Saturday (Feb. 3).
“Still getting over the flu which makes it silly to sing so excuse the raspy voice but messing around with an acoustic version of SELFISH,” Timberlake wrote to fans.
In the clip, Timberlake offered a quiet, stripped-down take of “Selfish” on acoustic guitar.

JT has performed “Selfish,” his first solo release in more than five years, a number of times since its Jan. 25 release.
He debuted the song live at a free hometown concert in Memphis on Jan. 19. He then played a snippet of it with Jimmy Fallon and The Roots on classroom instruments for The Tonight Show on Jan. 25, and he brought the full track to the SNL stage on Jan. 27.
Timberlake also played “Selfish” for the crowd during his one-night-only show on Jan. 31 at New York City’s Irving Plaza, a concert that made headlines when he introduced his 2002 hit “Cry Me a River” by saying, “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f—ing nobody. “Cry Me a River” is believed to be about his split from Britney Spears, whom he dated from 1999 to 2002.
“Someone told me someone was talking s— about me on the streets,” Spears seemingly wrote in response on Instagram. “Do you want to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time ??? I’m not sorry !!!”
Timberlake’s remark came after Spears seemed to apologize for calling him out in her memoir, The Woman in Me, and praised his new single. “I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry,” Spears wrote in a since deleted post without naming names, before adding, “I am so in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish.’ It is soo good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard ???”
Watch Timberlake’s acoustic performance of “Selfish” in the Instagram video below. He’ll be heading out on tour beginning April 29 to support his upcoming sixth solo album, Everything I Thought It Was.
