“Let’s gooooo🔥,” Jauregui wrote, while Cabello added a series of rocket emojis. “there she is 🥹🔥🔥,” Jane added. And Brooke shared several sparkling heart emojis and clapping hand.
Normani’s post also featured a photo of the artwork, which features the black-leather bikini-clad singer riding on top of a black rocket. She also reposted a June 30, 2018-dated message from X, in which she wrote, “I have my album title y’all,” and shared the album’s pre-save link wheresthedamnalbum.com.
Normani has yet to reveal Dopamine‘s release date, but according to the rapidly changing date counter on the aforementioned website, it will be released in 2024.
Since embarking on her solo career in 2018, Normani has released only seven singles as a lead artist, with 2019’s “Motivation” and 2022’s “Fair” being the only songs she’s released without another artist on it. She’s had two Billboard Hot 100 top 10 hits with the Sam Smith-assisted “Dancing With a Stranger” (No. 7) and the Khalid-assisted “Love Lies” (No. 9). “Motivation” and “Wild Side,” featuring Cardi B, have also charted on the Hot 100, peaking at No. 33 and No. 14, respectively.
Her Dopamine album announcement also arrives six months after signed a new management deal with Brandon Creed and Lydia Asrat through Creed’s Good World Management and Asrat’s Q10. Normani and her former management company, Brandon Silverstein‘s S10 Entertainment, parted ways last May.

Following the release of her 2023 Billboard 200 chart-topping sophomore album, Guts, the newly 21-year-old superstar is now a veteran to the touring scene, and she proved it as early as the set’s opening track, “Bad Idea Right?,” during which Rodrigo strutted around the U-shaped stage with the confidence of a pop pro, complete with her standout vocals that didn’t waver throughout the full hour-and-a-half performance.
With two albums out, Rodrigo had the 11,000 fans in the crowd belting out the lyrics to every song in the career-spanning set, which included her Billboard Hot 100-chart topping lead single ballads like Sour’s breakout hit, “Drivers License” and her blood-sucking Guts opera-tinged track, “Vampire.” She also amped up the energy with her high voltage, head bang-ready songs like “Get Him Back!,” “All-American B—-,” “Bad Idea Right?” as well as “Brutal,” “Deja Vu” and more.

Rodrigo will continue to perform in North America through April, where she’s scheduled a pair of dates for April 5 and 6 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, then heads overseas, beginning her international dates on April 30 in Dublin, Ireland. The pop star returns to the United States with a July 19 show in Philadelphia, and wraps her world tour with two concerts at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Aug. 13 and 14.
See below for the best moments from Rodrigo’s Guts tour kickoff in Palm Springs, Calif., from tender moments of gratitude to the introduction of pop’s brightest rockstar.
“Drivers License”
There is nothing more special than a star singing their breakthrough hit to an arena full of fans. The Rodrigo who released “Drivers License” in 2021 was heartbroken and unaware of the whirlwind three years ahead of her. The Rodrigo who performed “Drivers License” in 2024, however, was visibly self-assured and proud of how far she’s come. With just a piano and her characteristically heartfelt vocals, the full circle moment of performing her first mega-hit during her second sold-out tour felt particularly special.
“Teenage Dream”
During the performance of her Guts closing track, “Teenage Dream,” the screen behind Rodrigo played a montage of videos of the star when she was a child — dancing ballet and smiling with friends, or singing into a microphone. “They all say that it gets better, it gets better the more you grow / Yeah, they all say that it gets better, it gets better, but what if I don’t?” she repeated to wrap up the track, before she looked out to the crowd, teary-eyed.
Rodrigo then stepped offstage, as a voiceover played throughout the arena of a five-year-old Rodrigo stating that she’s excited for her first show. “I dedicate this song to my friends and family,” the tiny tot is heard saying, marking another moment of gratitude and physical representation of growth during the show.
The Moon
Coincidentally, it was a full moon outside Acrisure Arena, but inside the venue, Rodrigo sat on a crescent moon and floated above the crowd for dreamy renditions of “Logical” and “Enough for You.”
“Obsessed”
Rodrigo’s Guts deluxe track quickly became viral on TikTok, and the second Rodrigo sang the opening line of “Obsessed,” the crowd ruptured into venue-shaking screams from the surprise setlist addition. At the end of the track, Rodrigo grabbed a guitar and delivered an impressive guitar solo, amplifying the rock-leaning sound of her sophomore album.
“All-American B—-”
“For this next part, I want you think of someone or something that really pisses you off and I want you to scream your heart out,” Rodrigo told the crowd after the song’s bridge. All 11,000 people in the crowd then joined the singer in soul-wrenching screams to let out the anger, marking a hilarious and healing moment of emotion during the set.
Olivia Rodrigo spilled her guts onstage at the long awaited opening night of her Guts world tour on Friday (Feb. 23) at Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, Calif. With two albums now under her belt, the freshly 21-year-old pop superstar had no shortage of hits to get the crowd belting their hearts — or guts, […]

Have you even really lived until you’ve gotten a lap dance from Madonna? Just ask Amy Schumer.
In a new interview with The Associated Press, the comedian hilariously recounts getting onstage with the Queen of Pop during her ongoing Celebration Tour.
“I did not know I was going up on stage, that is the truth,” she told the interviewer and Life & Beth co-star Michael Cera. “An hour before the show, I was backstage hanging with some of her team and a choreographer approached me and… I thought it was a joke! And then I realized, ‘Oh, I’m getting onstage with her and I’m getting a lap dance.’”
Lap dances — and similar sensual choreography — are a key element of Madonna’s latest tour, as are onstage celebrity appearances. Before Schumer, the Queen of Pop trotted out stars such as Diplo, Donatella Versace and FKA twigs during the ballroom segment of the show. Madonna invited Schumer onstage during her show at Madison Square Garden in New York on Jan. 23. The two stars judged Madge’s backup dancers as they strutted to “Vogue”; eventually, the strutting turned into grinding as Madonna wrapped her legs around one dancer while Schumer’s face was temporarily frozen in shock.

Amused and intrigued by Schumer’s story, Cera quipped, “You needed a choreographer for that?” In response, Schumer replied, “They just want to make sure that, first of all, there’s consent. And also that you’re not gonna, like, freak out because you’re onstage at The Garden, you know?”
Of course, this isn’t Madonna’s time in lap-dance territory — who can forget her sultry shimmy for Maluma back in 2022? — but Amy Schumer can now join her in that arena. “Two times, not a big deal!” she teased. “But it was amazing, and God I just love her so much. Everybody needs to see this show.”
The Celebration Tour — which has hit a steady pace after a particularly rocky start that saw the production postponed due to the “Hung Up” singer’s hospitalization — is set to continue through the next two months, stopping in major cities such as Las Vegas (March 1-2), Los Angeles (March 4-11) and Houston (March 28-29) before concluding with five shows at Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City (April 20-26).

Shinsadong Tiger, a chart-topping and award-winning K-pop producer and songwriter, has passed away, his entertainment label confirmed on Friday (Feb. 23). The cause of death is currently unknown. He was 40.

Following local reports that Shinsadong Tiger (neé Lee Ho-yang, also known professionally as S.Tiger) was found collapsed in his Seoul workplace, his representative agency TR Entertainment confirmed the news that “Producer Shinsadong Tiger suddenly left our side on February 23, 2024.”
In the statement on social media, TR Entertainment requested refraining from “speculative reports for the bereaved families” and that funeral proceedings will be held quietly only by family, relatives and colleagues.
TR Entertainment also represents TRI.BE, Universal Music Korea’s first K-pop group crafted in collaboration with Shinsadong Tiger and signed with Republic Records in the U.S. On Tuesday (Feb. 20), TRI.BE released a new single “Diamond” and b-side track “Run,” both produced and co-written by the late producer. TR shared that TRI.BE is canceling and postponing its promotional schedule while promising to return for more television performances “since it is the last album that Shinsadong Tiger prepared and released with TRI.BE during his lifetime.”

TRI.BE was Shinsadong Tiger’s latest act after previously crafting and producing girl group EXID, who unexpectedly exploded in popularity two years into its career with the S.Tiger-produced single “Up & Down” in 2014 after a fan-recorded live performance went viral. Shinsadong Tiger produced seven EXID songs that charted on Billboard‘s World Digital Song Sales chart until the group went on hiatus in 2020.
Lee Ho-yang began his work as a songwriter in 2005 and came to helm some defining tracks of the genre throughout his nearly two decades of work with artists. With a sound that could blend electro-pop and Korea’s traditional trot genre to singles that embraced everything from orchestral production to Afrobeat, his works are tough to pinpoint musically but point to K-pop’s evolution.
Between 2011-2013, Lee produced four No. 1s on the (now-discontinued) K-Pop Hot 100 in T-ara’s “Roly-Poly” and “Lovey Dovey,” Trouble Maker’s “Now” and Ailee’s “U&I.” Meanwhile, his work like “Fiction” by boy band Beast won Song of the Year at the 2011 KBS Song Festival awards, while several of his creations with EXID, T-ara, HyunA and WJSN all were named in Billboard‘s 100 Greatest K-Pop Songs of the 2010s.
Shinsadong Tiger’s productions also had a knack for reaching wider audiences beyond Korean-music fans. In addition to EXID’s aforementioned breakout hit, HyunA’s “Bubble Pop!” from 2011 was an early YouTube smash and made the star the first K-pop soloist to break 100 million views on a music video. Later, “Bboom Bboom” by MOMOLAND helped break the rising girl group to the top of the charts in 2018, while its 626 million YouTube views make it one of the platform’s most-viewed K-pop videos ever.
Dalsooobin, a member of the girl group Dal Shabet whose singles like “B.B.B (Big Baby Baby)” and “Fri. Sat. Sun.” were produced by Shinsadong Tiger, shared her condolences and the former single’s album cover on her YouTube channel. Damjun, a member and songwriter-composer for his boy band LIONESSES, wrote “Thank you for your masterpieces” on Threads.
U.K. producer duo LDN Noise (who have helmed tracks with the likes of EXO, Chris Brown, NCT and NMIXX), Los Angeles-based Softserveboy (SEVENTEEN, Gwen Stefani, ENHYPEN, P1Harmony) and Damuer H. Leffridge (whose clients have included T-ara and B2K) all shared their condolences on Instagram. At the same time, L.A.-born Jae Chong (Uhm Junghwa, BoA, JYJ, Jolin Tsai, BIBI) called it “truly sad news” on the platform.

Flavor Flav and Miley Cyrus shared a heartwarming reunion at the 2024 Grammy Awards, but that wasn’t always the case.
Flav joined the Just B With Bethenny Frankel podcast on Thursday (Feb. 22), where he recalled a time he mixed up Miley with Gwen Stefani and when he went over to apologize, she playfully slapped him to make sure it wouldn’t happen again.
“It came from a time that they looked alike,” the Public Enemy rapper said around the 28:30 mark. “There was a time a few years back when they both had the same exact haircut. That’s the thing that got me. When I ran across my Miley first time ever in my life I was like, ‘Oh my God, Gwen Stefani, Gwen Stefani!’ Miley didn’t say anything she just went along with it.”
It wasn’t until one of Flav’s friends alerted him of the mix-up that he realized had just met Miley Cyrus and not the “Hollaback Girl” artist.

“I turned around and I ran back to her,” he explained. “‘Oh my God, I’m so sorry. Yo, Miley Cyrus, I know who you are now. Your dad Billy Ray Cyrus. I was like, ‘I’m so stupid.’ Smacked me in the face. She smacked me in the face. Miley Cyrus slapped Flavor Flav in the face and we laughed it off.”
Billboard has reached out to Miley Cyrus’ reps for comment.
Flav detailed how things went much better when they linked up at the 2024 Grammy Awards backstage. “That girl lit up like a Christmas tree,” Flav claimed. “Miley love herself some Flav.”
Footage of the unlikely interaction went viral on social media, as the “Flowers” singer was in shock Flavor Flav actually got her name right this time around.
“You know it’s me?! I made it,” Cyrus said to Flav. “You don’t think I’m Gwen Stefani anymore? You used to call me Gwen every time I saw you!”
“I know,” he admitted as the two went on to snap a few photos together. Miley added: “You know what time it is!”
