Looks like Ariana Grande‘s Eternal Sunshine is going to shine a little longer. On the latest episode of the Shut Up Evan podcast posted Tuesday (July 9), the 31-year-old pop star confirmed that an extended version of her Billboard 200-topping seventh studio album is for sure on its way — but fans will have to be patient as they wait for its release.
When asked about the possibility of a deluxe version — something she first teased in June on Penn Badgley’s Podcrushed podcast — Grande told host Evan Ross Katz that it was “definitely” in the works. “I definitely thought this album was perfect as it was, and I still kind of feel that way,” she said. “With time, I’ve been inspired to write more songs and inclined to do this deluxe. I’m really tempted to put a creative button on this storytelling, and I have a lot of ideas.”
“It’s an idea that’s become something I can’t not do,” she continued before teasing, “The final song on it is one of my favorite songs I’ve ever written.”

The downside, however, is that the Eternal Sunshine deluxe won’t be coming in the near future — Grande is still busy promoting the upcoming Wicked films, in which she stars alongside Cynthia Erivo, after all. “I don’t just want to slap the music onto what I already think is a perfect version of the album,” she explained. “I want to let it live in this current state a little while longer, take my time to execute my vision for this deluxe and make sure that it’s worth the wait and as special as I think it can be.”
“I’ll let it be a surprise, but I wouldn’t say any time super soon,” the Grammy winner added. “I’m also trying to navigate the timing of the Wicked of it all, because I really want to give my entire self to that when it’s time to shift gears. I’m working on it constantly, and I’ll have more information on timing soon.”
Grande had a similar answer when asked whether she’s planning to do live shows in support of Eternal Sunshine, another topic she previously spoke about on The Zach Sang Show. “I still want it too,” she reiterated to Katz. “It would be a really lovely idea to be able to trickle in some shows in between the two Wicked films. It’s for a multitude of reasons not going to be a tour in the way that I used to tour.”
“It would be a mini little sampling of shows, I think,” she added. “It’s something that my team and I are working on coming up with options for.”

“HYBE and their artists represent the present and future of the global music landscape, and our goal with this exhibit is to deepen the appreciation and respect for its creators and performers,” said Michael Sticka, president/CEO of the Grammy Museum, in a statement. “HYBE has contributed to creating a playground of innovation that inspires fandoms that transcend age, gender, geography and beyond. Nearly a decade after K-pop became a global pop phenomenon, the Recording Academy has yet to add a separate Grammy category for K-pop recordings. (And there won’t be one next year, either. No categories will be added for the 2025 awards.) BTS has received five nominations in existing categories, including three for best pop duo/group performance, for “Dynamite,” “Butter” and “My Universe,” the latter a collab with Coldplay.

BLACKPINK’s LISA is the latest addition to the line-up for the 2024 Global Citizen Festival.
The K-pop superstar will mark her first live solo set at a festival she co-headlines this year’s event, where she joins previously confirmed headliners Post Malone, Doja Cat, Jelly Roll and Rauw Alejandro.
The timing is sweet. Just this week, LISA landed her first Billboard Global Excl. U.S. No. 1 with “Rockstar,” which opened at the summit. The song was first teased on TikTok earlier last month when LISA joined the social media site and set a Guinness World Record by gaining 1 million followers in just over two hours. That’s just one in an impressive and expanding collection of records smashed by LISA, Jennie, Rosé and Jisoo.

“We are thrilled to join forces with LISA for what will be her first ever solo performance at a music festival,” comments Katie Hill, senior VP, head of music, entertainment and artist relations at Global Citizen, the world’s leading organization seeking to end extreme poverty. “LISA is not only an incredible performer, but also a powerful advocate, leveraging her voice and platform to drive action on some of the most urgent challenges our world is facing.”
As previously reported, the concert will be presented at the Great Lawn in New York’s Central Park on Sept. 28, and hosted by Global Citizen Ambassador actor Hugh Jackman. The day will also feature appearances from Jane Goodall, as well as Coldplay singer Chris Martin, the festival curator.

“As world leaders gather in New York for the UN General Assembly,” reads a statement, “the 2024 Global Citizen Festival will advocate for the equity of all people, calling on governments, philanthropists and the private sector to ensure the basic needs of the world’s marginalized communities are fulfilled, including immunizations and strong health systems, quality education, and nutritious food.”
Tickets to the Global Citizen Festival are free and can be earned by taking action on the Global Citizen app or at globalcitizenfestival.com to defeat poverty, defend the planet and demand equity.
The variations just keep on coming. On Monday (July 8), Taylor Swift dropped a new acoustic version of her The Tortured Poets Department song “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone. It looks like Sabrina Carpenter’s reign on the Official U.K. Singles Chart with “Please Please Please” isn’t ending anytime soon.
Projections indicate she’ll hold the No. 1 spot for a fourth consecutive week. Meanwhile, her former chart-topper “Espresso” remains steady at No. 2 in the midweek update.
But watch out Sabrina — Shaboozey is shaking things up! His single “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” – which famously interpolates J-Kwon’s 2004 smash “Tipsy” – is currently just over 1,000 chart units behind Carpenter, sitting pretty at No. 3.

The track debuted at No. 41 on the Official Singles Chart, climbed to No. 16 the following week, and gave Shaboozey his first U.K. Top 10 single a week later when it rose to No. 6.

Meanwhile, British breakout star Myles Smith is aiming high with his track “Stargazing.” The single is set to leap two spots to No. 4, marking his highest chart position to date. Smith first appeared on the Official U.K. Singles Chart with his 2024 single “Solo,” which peaked at No. 69. His debut EP, You Promised A Lifetime, reached No. 30 on the Official Albums Downloads Chart.
Following their show-stopping headline slot at Glastonbury Festival, Coldplay’s latest track “feelslikeimfallinginlove” is on a sky-high trajectory, projected to reach a new peak in the top 20, landing at No. 12.
Meanwhile, Shady’s back (back again), as Eminem returns with his new track “Tobey” featuring Big Sean and Babytron, from his forthcoming album The Death of Slim Shady. “Tobey” is climbing a whopping 59 places to No. 17.
It follows the success of Eminem’s previous single “Houdini,” which marked his 11th U.K. No. 1 single in June 2024.
“Houdini” was the Detroit rapper’s first fully solo No. 1 since “Toy Soldiers” in 2005 and his first U.K. chart-topper since 2020’s “Godzilla,” featuring Juice WRLD.
Bebe Rexha is making it loud and clear that she will not tolerate disruptive behavior at her shows.
During her performance at the Palmesus Festival in Kristiansand, Norway, on July 6, Rexha had a fan ejected for attempting to throw an object at her on stage. This incident occurred nearly a year after she was hit in the face with a cell phone during a concert in New York City, which resulted in significant injuries.
In a video that has since gone viral, Rexha addressed the offending audience member who attempted to throw something on stage directly, saying, “If you hit me with something on stage right now, I’ll take you for everything you’ve f—ing got. Do not f—ing play with me right now. Out! Get the f–k out.”

This isn’t the first time Rexha has had to deal with unruly fans.
On June 1, she had multiple people removed from her concert in Green Bay, Wisconsin, after they threw objects at her on stage.

Fans videos show Rexha directing security to escort a fan out of the venue, saying, “Out, out. Or, if you wanna hit me in the face, I had to press charges for the other guy — I’d love to become richer.”
As fans cheered, she clarified: “I’m not inviting that, please. It was just a joke.”
The June 2023 incident was particularly severe. While performing at The Rooftop at Pier 17 in New York City, Rexha was struck in the face by a cell phone thrown by a fan, which split her eyebrow and required stitches.
The assailant, Nicolas Malvagna, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of assault and harassment. He later accepted a plea deal that included 40 days of community service and a six-month order of protection.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s office later reported that the assailant had said in his confession, “I was trying to see if I could hit her with the phone at the end of the show because it would be funny.”
Rexha later shared a pic of her bruised face with the caption, “I’m good.”
But fans throwing objects at artists isn’t limited to the “I’m A Mess” singer. Country star Morgan Wallen has had phones, a drink, and women’s underwear thrown at him while performing over the past year or so alone.
In June 2023, Pink was left shocked when a fan threw their mother’s ashes onto the stage during a performance at BST Hyde Park. Similarly, Cardi B had water thrown at her during a concert in August 2023.
Harry Styles and Kid Cudi have also faced similar disruptions, with Styles being hit in the eye by a Skittle during a 2022 show in Los Angeles and Kid Cudi cutting his Rolling Loud set short due to fans throwing bottles at him.

On What Fans Can Expect From ATE:
Felix: It’s been like nine months since we’ve done our comeback.
Bang Chan: Yeah, it’s been, like, what? Uh, eight months?
Felix: We did [“Lose My Breath”] so, like, you know, definitely fans can be like, “Oh, bro, like, what concept or what color are they going for this comeback album?” But definitely I reckon this is something we haven’t done in, like… this is our first time doing this kind of concept. And the music style is also very different. But then you can say, “Oh, wow, so this kinda song … it’s definitely Stray Kids’ style.” You know what I mean?
Bang Chan: It’s something that we haven’t done before — but, you know, not only with the title track… a lot of the other songs as well, it’s all very different. But, you know, in the end, it’s what we made. What we recorded. It’s just showing a different side of Stray Kids.
Felix: I think we fit it in the song pretty well.
Bang Chan: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Everyone did a really good job.
Felix: It matches so well with our color.

On “Lose My Breath (Stray Kids Version)”:
Bang Chan: With all eight of our voices coming out on the song, it’s, I feel like it’s a bit more special. You know what I mean? Also it’s a very different Stray Kids song.
Felix: Yeah, it’s not like a song we would always do. But, then again, because it’s us doing it, I feel like we did a good job recording and preparing for this song so.
Bang Chan: Most of the time, I’d be, you know, 3RACHA would be directing this song. But everyone did such a great job, so, um, big shout to all the members. And, um, also, you know, I feel like, ’cause, you know, the weather’s getting so hot these days…“Lose My Breath,” it kinda cools you down when you listen to the song in this hot weather.
Felix: Yeah. No matter how hot it is, like 35 degrees [Celsius], it’s still good to listen to, you know?

Bang Chan and Felix’s Favorite Stray Kids Songs:
Felix: What’s your favorite Stray Kids song?
Bang Chan: Bro, that’s so hard! I can’t choose! [Laughs.] Do you have one?
Felix: I have … actually, [my favorite was] “DOMINO.”
Bang Chan: “DOMINO”? “DOMINO” is pretty good. “DOMINO” is my wake-up alarm.
Felix: Oh, really?!
Bang Chan: ‘Cause it’s so loud from the start. [Singing.] And it just wakes me up straight away. I’m like, “Ah!”

Bang Chan and Felix Talk Hobbies:
Felix: Is there anything you’re interested in these days?
Bang Chan: Ooh, interests … I don’t know … you know, I’ve been playing Genshin a lot these days.
Felix: Genshin a lot, yeah. Same here.
Bang Chan: Sometimes, when you bring your console out into schedule[s], we play Tekken together. Um, what else? I’ve been interested in soccer.
Felix: You’ve been playing soccer?
Bang Chan: Mm-hmm.
Felix: Oh yeah, you have. Bang Chan: Yeah. Futsal with the members, some other mates.
Felix: Oh yeah.
Bang Chan: Um, what else am I doing? I’ve been trying to work out a bit more frequently these days.
Felix: Oh. Ah, you have more hobbies then … You have, like, three hobbies then. Bang Chan: I guess so.
Felix: Like, working out, soccer, and then Genshin.
Bang Chan: To be honest, yeah. That does make sense. ‘Cause, I mean, you know me. I think a lot. And then I try to get out of mind — I try to, you know, find all these hobbies [Laughs.]
Felix: That’s good, man.
Warning: the following story contains discussions of eating disorders.
Kesha has a simple message for anyone out there who has something to say about her physique: go ahead and hate, it only makes her stronger. The singer who has been candid about her struggles with body image and recovery from an eating disorder appeared to respond to some unkind comments about her body on Sunday (July 7) in a pointed Instagram post.
“i didn’t think in 2024 people still body shamed but. i am so proud of my body. she’s been through a lot. she’s torn her acl on stage and finished the show. she’s held my f–king broken heart together,” Kesha, 37, wrote in the post that also featured an image of the singer laying on the beach in a black string bikini as well as modeling it while standing on a balcony while wearing a black baseball hat and white robe.
“to those who think you’re shaming me, you’re actually making me feel very powerful. so, to you, i hope you one day feel whole enough to not tear other women down. in the mean time, hate me harder bi–ch:),” she added, along with a muscle flex emoji.

Back in 2017, Kesha posted about her struggle with eating disorders, writing, “I had an eating disorder that threatened my life, and was very afraid to confront it. I got sicker and the whole world kept telling me how much better I looked. That’s why I realized I wanted to be a part of the solution.” In addition, at the 2016 Billboard Women in Music event, Kesha discussed her past struggles with self-image. “I’ve decided to stay confident in my ever-changing, totally imperfect body,” she said at the time.
Around the same time, Kesha opened up in an essay in Teen Vogue, writing, “When I think about the kind of bullying I dealt with as a child and teen, it seems almost quaint compared with what goes on today. The amount of body-shaming and baseless slut-shaming online makes me sick. I know from personal experience how comments can mess up somebody’s self-confidence and sense of self-worth. I have felt so unlovable after reading cruel words written by strangers who don’t know a thing about me.”
She added, “It became a vicious cycle: When I compared myself to others, I would read more mean comments, which only fed my anxiety and depression. Seeing paparazzi photos of myself and the accompanying catty commentary fueled my eating disorder. The sick irony was that when I was at some of the lowest points in my life, I kept hearing how much better I looked. I knew I was destroying my body with my eating disorder, but the message I was getting was that I was doing great.”
More recently, the singer who just released her new single, “Joyride,” last week, told Self in 2023 that she after checking into an inpatient program to treat bulimia in 2014 she started working with therapists on a new routine to help manager her anxiety around eating.
According to organizers of NEDAwareness Week, some 30 million Americans will struggle at some point in their lives with an eating disorder, such as bulimia, binge-eating disorder and anorexia. For more information visit nedawareness.org.
