On International Women’s Day (March 8), Billboard released a list of 21 powerful Latin women collaborations that included team ups between Karol G and Shakira (“TQG”), Ana Bárbara and Paquita la del Barrio (“El Consejo”) and Yuridia and Ángela Aguilar (“Qué Agonía”). Before Women’s History Month wraps up on March 31, we’re asking readers to vote for their favorite collaboration that’s featured in the roundup.

The list also includes unapologetic bangers, such as iLe and Ivy Queen’s latest track “Algo Bonito” and Ptazeta and Villano Antillano’s “Mujerón,” as well as ultimate breakup songs, such as Becky G and Karol G’s Hot Latin Songs chart-topping anthem “MAMIII.” There’s also a couple of joints that are all about reflection and finding your self-worth after a toxic relationship, such as Kany García and Mon Laferte’s “Se Portaba Mal” and India and Goyo’s “Nubes Negras.”

Representing regional Mexican are powerhouses Yuridia and Aguilar who delivered the epic “Qué Agonía,” a heartfelt ranchera where both admit their own faults in a failed relationship — but recognize that they still love their ex and are asking for forgiveness.

With this song, included in her first Mexican Music album Pa’ Luego Es Tarde, Yuridia scored her first top 10 song on the Latin Airplay Chart in 16 years. For Aguilar, the Edén Muñoz-produced track provided her third straight top 10 on the all-genre tally which launched with the No. 5 high “Dime Cómo Quieres,” with Christian Nodal, in 2021.

Below, make your vote count and choose your favorite Latin women collaboration.

Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía have dropped a three-track joint EP called RR (styled R♾Я) that not only navigates from old-school reggatón beats to bolero fusions but also staples their over three-year relationship.

In “Beso,” the couple sings about not wanting anyone else’s kisses only each other, and comes accompanied by their sweetest moments together in a homemade video that reveals they are officially engaged. In “Vampiros,” they mutually throw each other flowers saying they are talented, authentic and badass. Whereas in “Promesa,” they get honest about loving each other no matter what.

“After more than 3 years together, here are these 3 songs made with all the love in the world. I hope you enjoy this little piece of us,” Rauw and Rosalía expressed in a collaborative Instagram post.

But the Puerto Rican act and Spanish artist are not the only ones who have joined musical forces. Recently, newlyweds Guaynaa and Lele Pons revealed to Billboard Español their plans for an album together.

To celebrate their love, their 10-track collaborative album, tentatively titled Capitulations, will span a variety of genres from urban pop (“Abajito”) to reggaetón (“Natural”) to reggae (“A Que No”) and bachata (“Todo Sabe Más Rico”). They assure the set will be very relatable to couples.

Two days before their wedding day on March 4, Lele and Guaynaa dropped their first single off of the set called “Abajito,” a playful dembow that finds the pair promising to always love and take care of each other, but also has witty lyrics about “down there.” The single follows 2020’s “Se Te Nota,” which spent 18 weeks on the all-genre Billboard Global 200 (where it peaked at No. 44), and 25 weeks on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart (No. 19 peak) and 11 weeks on Hot Latin Songs (No. 25).

In addition to these two pairs of lovebirds, which Latin music couple should drop an EP or album next? Vote below!

This week, our New Music Latin roundup—a compilation of the best new Latin songs, albums, and videos recommended by the Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors each week—is powered by new music from Humbe, Myke Towers and Maluma, to name a few.

The list includes full-length albums by Myke Towers and Humbe. The former released his 23-track La Vida Es Una (Life is One), where he moves away from his trap and hip-hop core and experiments with alternative, EDM, and funk, as well as collaborations with Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, J Balvin, Arcángel, and more. The latter’s ESENCIA is home to 11 tracks that fuse beautiful atmospherics with Humbe’s signature pop sound, resulting in an album full of introspection — or in his own words via a press release, he had to “search through his own story to deliver his essence.”

Meanwhile, power couple Rauw Alejandro and Rosalía dropped their three-track EP RR, a swoon-worthy, open-hearted slice of Latin pop that’s swirled together with adventure, lust, and romance — giving any love skeptics hope. The official music video to the set’s “Beso” even came equipped with their engagement announcement.

Also on the list are exciting collaborations such as Andrés Cepeda and Gusi’s “Duele,” Grupo Firme and Junior H’s “Trotando Ligas,” Bizarrap and Arcángel’s “Arcángel: BZRP Music Sessions, Vol. 54,” and Maluma and Anuel AA’s “Diablo, Qué Chimba,” to name a few.

Spring has officially sprung, and with it comes the arrival of new music from multiple artists on the first new music Friday of the season. Among them are brand new tracks and albums from Ed Sheeran, Lana Del Rey, Luke Combs and more.

Sheeran offers a preliminary look at Subtract, the final installment of his mathematics album series, with new track “Eyes Closed.” The song serves as a tribute to his late best friend, Jamal Edwards, who died suddenly from a heart attack, and offers a potent message of mourning after an unexpected loss. the British pop star worked with Aaron Dessner for the production, which combines Sheeran’s calling cards — acoustic guitar, sparse drum beats and memorable hooks — with whirring arrangements, making for a radio-friendly track, regardless of its sad subject matter.

Del Rey’s ninth album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, also arrived on Friday. In the set, she muses on sex, devotion, family and American decay, but this time, with a series of guests providing an assist — Tommy Genesis, Jon Batiste and Bleachers to name just a few — showing that once again, she’s trying to challenge herself in ways she previously hasn’t. (Read a full review and tracks ranking of Lana Del Rey’s latest album here.)

The follow-up to Luke Combs’ Growin’ Up, the aptly titled Gettin’ Old, sees the country star further honing in on his songwriting skills, reflecting peacefully on his hometown, his career beginnings and the unfurling of a promising romance.

BTS’ Jimin, Rosalía with Rauw Alejandro, and Fall Out Boy also return with new music. Which new release is your favorite? Vote in our poll below.

From “Flowers” by Miley Cyrus to Natalia Lafourcade’s “De Todas Las Flores,” these 23 songs honor springtime and reflect a variety of genres from different eras, in English and Spanish, all pastel hued and with a dash of poptimism.

“La Primavera” (2001) by Manu Chao still sounds as refreshing as spring rain even after more than two decades after its release. Then there’s Nirvana’s 1991 “In Bloom,” of their breakthrough Nevermind, which marked a generation of insouciant rebellion. With Kali Uchis’ recent Billboard 200 chart-topping Red Moon in Venus, she introduces her album with careful orchestration of birds chirping and flower bugs buzzing in the intro track “in My Garden…” which is followed by the languorous “I Wish you Roses.”

With Café Tacvba’s seminal “Las Flores” from their 1994 album Re, the mercurial four-piece band introduced a jubilant song filled with invigorating jaranas and an irresistible rhythm that induces smiles every time it plays. Last year’s Natalia Lafourcade “De Todas Las Flores” sees her continue her exploration of Mexican roots in an elegant and dolce way, boasting acoustic guitar strums over a subtle dream-pop backdrop. And of course, the list wouldn’t be complete without Selena’s tejano classic “Como La Flor,” Miley Cyrus’ groundbreaking pop kiss-off “Flowers” and the Billboard No. 1 feel-good song “Mañana Será Bonito” by Karol G.

And, of course, the list would not be complete without the Tejano classic “Como La Flor” by Selena y Los Dinos, and “Dónde Estará Mi Primavera” by Ario de Rosales native Marco Antonio Solís.

This week’s new music Friday is filled with brand new tracks from Taylor Swift, BTS‘ Jimin, Melanie Martinez and more.

To get fans even more hyped up for Swift’s The Eras Tour — which is scheduled to kick off on Friday, March 17, in Glendale, Ariz. — the pop icon released not one, but four tracks: “Taylor’s Version” takes on “If This Was a Movie,” “Safe and Sound” and “Eyes Open,” as well as “All of the Girls You Loved Before,” which is an unreleased track from her Lover era. “Girls” sees the 33-year-old reflecting on her past mistake with an air of appreciation, as it paved the way for a better future for herself. “Every dead-end street, led you straight to me,” she sings on the chorus.

Jimin is the latest member of BTS to go solo, and gave fans a taste of his forthcoming album, FACE (scheduled to arrive on March 24), with the release of its lead single, “Set Me Free, Pt. 2.” Jimin flips off his haters in the defiant hip-hop influenced track about “determination, passion, and overcoming” any obstacles in his way. “I thought it was important that I be the one to set myself free — not someone else,” he said of the track in an interview with Consequence. “In the end, I’m the one who has to set myself free.”

Melanie Martinez also offered a new tune, declaring that she is “back from the dead” on new track “DEATH.” The singer says a farewell to her Crybaby persona, embracing a rebirth — and electronic, synth-driven sound — for her Portals album cycle, which promises to be one of her most ambitious yet.

Kx5, Hozier and Avenged Sevenfold also return this week. With so many to choose from, we want to know: Which release is your favorite? Vote in our poll below.

The 2023 Oscars has officially come and gone. Celebrities, actresses and musicians attended the 95th annual Academy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night (March 12) to celebrate and honor the most talked about movies released within the past year, and of course, the ceremony included performances by best original song nominees Rihanna, Lady Gaga and more.

Ri took the stage in a stunning Maison Margiela Artisanal look — black pants and black bra with dazzling rhinestones parading down the length of her baby bump — to give “Lift Me Up” from the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack its live debut. The track marked the pop star’s first Oscar nomination, alongside Tems, Ryan Coogler and Ludwig Göransson. The singer delivered a soaring performance of the song accompanied by a backing choir, imbuing the live rendition with as much emotion — if not more — than the original recording.

After initially declining to perform at the telecast, Gaga surprised fans by taking the stage for “Hold My Hand” from the Top Gun: Maverick soundtrack. The Academy Award winner — who performed makeup-free and in a casual outfit — began the set with a few words. “I wrote this song with my friend BloodPop for the film Top Gun: Maverick in my studio basement,” she began. “There’s heroes all around us, in unassuming places, but you might find that you can be your own hero even if you feel broken inside.”

David Byrne with Stephanie Hsu and Son Lux; Sofia Carson with Diane Warren; Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava; and Lenny Kravitz also performed at the Oscars. Which performance was your favorite? Vote in our poll below.

This week’s new music Friday is filled with brand new albums from Miley Cyrus and TWICE, a long awaited collaboration between dance powerhouse duo Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding, and more.

Cyrus has returned with Endless Summer Vacation, which sees her expanding and diving into elements from her multifaceted sound of past album eras, all while delivering danceable — and infectious — pop hits. Buoyed by lead single “Flowers,” Cyrus’ first Billboard Hot 100 chart topper in nearly a decade, the star gives fans a love letter to Los Angeles and a solid look at what’s ahead for her musically.

Women in Music Breakthrough Artist award winners TWICE are back with 12th mini album Ready to Be. The K-pop stars have supported the release through U.S. television performances, and are embarking on a world tour in April, which will allow ONCEs to hear the pop hits and strong hooks on the new EP. “Set Me Free” and “Blame It On Me” serve as clear standouts from the new set, while the previously released single, “Moonlight Sunrise,” continues to be a fresh, infectious listen.

Past collaborators Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding reunite on “Miracle,” the third from the pair since “I Need Your Love” in 2012 and “Outside” in 2014. The track is a clear showcase of trance sensibilities, with Goulding’s vocals serving as a warm vehicle to accompany the song’s instrumentals.

Lauren Daigle and Fever Ray also return with new material this week. With so much to choose from, we want to know: Which release is your favorite? Vote in our poll below.

With only three months into the new year, Morgan Wallen‘s new album, One Thing At a Time, has outperformed every other album released so far in 2023 — and just three calendar days after its release.

Continuing the format of his second album, Dangerous: The Double Album, One Thing At a Time is a triple LP that contains a total of 36 songs from the country singer. The set, released on March 3 via Big Loud and Republic Records, so far has released four singles: “You Proof,” “Thought You Should Know,” “Last Night” and the album’s title track, “One Thing At a Time.” Each of them hit the Billboard Hot 100 following the album’s release, with “Last Night” and “You Proof” peaking within the top five (Nos. 3 and 5) while the album’s title track and “Should Know” settling within the top 40 (Nos. 12 and 37, respectively).

On March 3, Spotify revealed that Wallen’s One Thing At a Time earned a total of 52.29 million streams, setting the record for being the streaming service’s most-streamed country album in a single day by a male artist. Wallen has also topped the Billboard Artist 100 chart (dated March 11), becoming the top musical act in the U.S. for a seventh total week. While the data continues to pool for One Thing At a Time, the set is anticipated to perform well on next week’s Billboard 200 and Top Country Albums charts (dated March 18).

With so many songs to choose from, we want to know: Which of the 36 tracks from One Thing at a Time is your favorite? Vote in our poll below.

The first new music Friday of the month is here, and it’s filled with music by Nicki Minaj, Morgan Wallen, a collaboration between BTS rapper J-Hope and J. Cole, and more.

Following a successful 2022 that saw Minaj nab her first solo No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Super Freaky Girl” (which notably interpolated Rick James’ 1981 hit “Super Freak”), the rapper revived Lumidee’s “Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh)” on new single “Red Ruby Da Sleeze.” Instead of using the song as a straight sample, Minaj uses the track as a percussion instrument, rapping over it with lyrics about her wannabes and imitators, even sneaking in cheeky references to Christopher Reeve and Karl Malone.

Country star Wallen’s new album, One Thing at a Time, sees him expanding his catalogue even more with a triple LP consisting of 36 songs, one-upping his previous double album release, Dangerous. On the new expansive project, he grapples with his fame, and even faces some of the divisive moments during his meteoric ascent to the top. “I was a bad reputation, with an attitude to match,” Wallen sings on “Dying Man,” the album’s closing track. “Hell, man, I’m goin’ nowhere/ And gettin’ there lightnin’ fast.”

J-Hope continues his momentum from 2022 with another “J” rapper — J. Cole. The pair teams up for “On the Street,” in which the BTS rapper expresses gratitude for his blessings and the dedicated fans who have helped make it happen. Cole effortlessly slides on the beat, charismatic and confident alongside the K-pop star as he speaks of his own unique come-up story.

Kali Uchis, Marshmello with Manuel Turizo, and Portugal. The Man also return this week. With so many great new options, we want to know what you have on repeat. Vote in our new music release poll below.
