With VP Kamala Harris now officially running for President, the alleged racists on the Right are foaming at the mouth. Case in point, on Tuesday morning (July 24), during a segment on Fox and Friends discussing Harris choosing not to attend Isreal Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressing Congress, host Brian Kilemeade called historically Black sorority Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. a “colored sorority.”
“She’d rather address, in the summer, a sorority…a colored sorority, like she can’t get outta that!,” said Kilmeade. Yes, we are in 2024, and “colored” has entered the chat. By the way, that’s an outdated, racist way to describe a person of color (big difference).
Instead of watching Trump’s buddy Netanyahu kick propaganda, VP Harris will be attending and speaking Zeta Phi Beta’s national convention in New Orleans. Despite the Black Greek Lettered Organization’s storied history—it was founded in 1920 on the campus of Howard University and its rolls of accomplished members (Sheryl Underwood, Dionne Warwick) who are Black women—Kilmeade figures Harris should just cancel.
Wait until he finds out Harris is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., thus the respect is there. But the context would probably fly over his allegedly bigoted head.
The FOX News nitwit is currently getting dragged for all the filth, and deservedly so. Shout out to the Black man on the panel—Lawrence Jones III—who sat there like a soft shoe clown while the white guy went full racist, allegedly. Even white people saw the jig.
Turns out your ex isn’t the only person Olivia Rodrigo is “Obsessed” with. The singer showed her support for Kamala Harris on Tuesday (July 23) in an Instagram Story, resharing a TikTok clip from the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee’s first campaign rally as a 2024 contender.
In the clip, the current VP talks about restoring reproductive rights should she win the Oval Office in November. “And we who believe in reproductive freedom will stop Donald Trump’s extreme abortion bans because we trust women to make decisions about their own body, and not have their government tell them what to do!” Harris said emphatically at the Tuesday (July 23) event in Wisconsin. “And when Congress passes a law to restore reproductive freedoms, as president of the United States, I will sign it into law.”
In addition to sharing the clip originally posted by The News Movement, the three-time Grammy winner added four raised-hands emojis to her Story.
Rodrigo, 21, has been an outspoken supporter of reproductive rights, launching her Fund 4 Good — her initiative that supports girls’ education and reproductive rights as well as preventing gender-based violence by helping to fund community-based non-profits — when she kicked off her Guts World Tour in February. A portion of the ticket sales also went to support the initiative, as well as the National Network of Abortion Funds. But she didn’t stop there. At several of her tour stops, local groups were on hand to hand out condoms, morning-after pills and information about how to find abortion care to those who were interested.
The “Drivers License” singer is far from the first musician to show support for the vice president, who is now campaigning to become the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee after President Joe Biden withdrew from the race and immediately endorsed his VP for the job on Sunday (July 21).
“Right person. Right time,” Carole King wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of the two women together, the same day Biden announced he was no longer running.
“I’m so ready to work to help unite the pro-democracy coalition to reject Trump’s authoritarian, oppressive Project 2025 and elect Kamala Harris as our President,” John Legend shared on Instagram after Biden endorsed his VP. “She’s ready for this fight and I’m excited to help her in any way I can.”
Others who have shown support for Harris’ 2024 presidential run include Charli XCX, Barbra Streisand, Cardi B, Ariana Grande, Lil Nas X, Beyonce, Moby, Questlove and more.

It’s shaping up to be Vice President Kamala Harris versus disgraced former president Donald Trump in a battle for the White House, and now a donation from the orange menace to Harris’ past campaign.
The jury is still out whether a bullet did hit Trump in the ear, but one thing there is no doubt about is that he once rocked with our MVP.
A check for $6,000 featuring Trump’s very unmistakable signature is making its rounds on social media. Before he became the leader of the Republican party, he was happily sending money to Kamala Harris to support her 2011-2013 campaign to become California’s Attorney General.
Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, also chipped in, sending Harris $2,000 in 2014.
Donald Trump Uses His Money To Buy Political Favors
According to celebrity gossip site TMZ, this is not the first time Trump’s donation to Kamala Harris has resurfaced, and there is a reason behind Trump’s “generosity.”

This old connection between the now-rivals for the White House first popped up in 2020 when KH was running as Biden’s VP — and yep, it was fact-checked back then, too.
If you’re wondering why he was tossing money to both parties, Trump explained that during his 2016 presidential campaign — bragging, “I’ve given to Democrats. I’ve given to Hillary. I’ve given to everybody! Because that was my job. I gotta give to them. Because when I want something, I get it. When I call, they kiss my a**.”In other words, he openly admitted it was a strategic move to rack up political favors — and some suspect, in Kamala’s case, it was his way to sway California’s investigation into his now-defunct Trump University.
Well, Vice President Harris definitely didn’t do Trump any favors. In fact, she sent Trump’s money to a nonprofit benefiting Central American civil rights.
Well played, Madame Vice President.

A lot has changed in the United States’ political landscape over the past 24 hours, with President Joe Biden announcing his withdrawal from the upcoming presidential election and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for the role over the weekend. And now, Lizzo is doing her part to make sure that the new Democratic front-runner’s campaign isn’t dimmed by baseless criticism before it even gets off the ground.
In a video posted to Instagram Monday (July 22) — just hours after Biden announced he would no longer be seeking reelection the day prior — the hitmaker specifically took aim at naysayers who allege that Harris has achieved nothing in the past few years as the country’s second in command.
“For everyone saying that Kamala Harris didn’t do anything when she was VP, please, for $5,000, do not use Google, tell me what any vice president has ever done during their term that was notable that you noticed,” Lizzo addresses the camera in the clip while wrapped in a fuzzy blanket.
“The vice president’s job is to take a backseat and support while the president does everything that’s forward-facing,” she continued. “It’s funny because when Joe Biden was VP, the only things I really remember him doing was making cool videos with Barack [Obama], but when he ran for president, I didn’t hear that same, ‘He didn’t do anything when he was VP’ from people. So I wonder why y’all are saying it now.”
“Can we all just be for real?” the “About Damn Time” singer added. “Let’s all be for real and say our quiet parts out loud, because the discourse is tired.”
In fact, Harris has spent much of her tenure as vice president working to strengthen global alliances by meeting with more than 150 international leaders abroad, according to the White House, as well as casting a record 33 tie-breaking votes in the senate, at one point effectively passing the Inflation Reduction Act in 2022. The first Black woman and South Asian American to be elected to the position of VP, she also closely assisted Biden in tackling issues related to healthcare, gun safety, unemployment and more.
Lizzo was one of the first musicians to publicly react to the news that Biden had removed himself from the presidential race after months of campaigning for reelection, shortly after which he posted his endorsement of Harris on social media. “I believe it is in the best interest of my party and the country for me to stand down and to focus solely on fulfilling my duties as President for the remainder of my term,” he wrote in a letter addressed to “My Fellow Americans.”
“We are truly living in unprecedented times,” the Grammy winner marveled in an Instagram post before sharing her video defending Harris.
