It didnât take long for Julio Foolioâs death to take an interesting turn.
Rapper Julio Foolio became another victim of senseless gun violence over the weekend when he was shot and killed on his 26th birthday.
Another rapper, Yungeen Ace, threw more fire onto the situation, releasing a new video for an old âdiss trackâ named âDo It, which some believe is aimed at the dead rapper.
In the video, a hooded person can be seen being shot and being relieved of his jewelry.
Per The Vibe, on the song Ace raps:
âSeven days a week, we run this bi**h, we spinninâ/ Any day this week, I bet a ni**a come up missinâ/ Ni**a better stay on point (What), he better not be out here slippinâ/ Ayy, letâs call his bi**h, these bi**hes up in here/ Ayy, ni**a be tryinâ and sh*t, ni**a be dyinâ and sh*t, uh, uh/ Tell him go free that h* âfore Tillie go blam the bi**h, uh, uh.â
In a deleted post on X, formerly Twitter, right after word hit the internet of Julio Foolioâs death, Yungeen Ace wrote, âThat boy going back the same day he came in *crying laughing emoji*.â
Yungeen Ace & Julio Foolioâs Beef Timeline
According to The Vibe, the two rappersâ issues stem from a larger beef involving Aceâs crew ATK and Foolioâs crew KTA. Things escalated when Ace appeared on SpinaBenzâs record âWho I Smoke.â
In the song, Ace mentions several of Foolioâs dead associates.

Foolio quickly responded with âWhen I See You,â in the song, he featured audio from the news coverage of Aceâs brotherâs death.

Just ridiculous. Of course, the internet is still talking about this sad situation.

We love a good redemption story. Three years after losing a spot on the U.S. Olympic track team due to outdated doping rules regarding marijuana use, ShaâCarri Richardson will get another opportunity to represent Team USA in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Even after getting off to a bad start, Richardson knew she had the race in the bag, ending her race with a resounding victory. Putting an exclamation mark on her âIâm No Back, Iâm Betterâ tour with an impressive 10.71-second sprint in the 100 meters during U.S track trials over the weekend.
Her performance on Saturday cemented her as the fastest woman on the planet. Richardson was also .09 seconds ahead of training partner Melissa Jefferson, the 2022 U.S. champion.
After her win, Richardson spoke about her performance, saying, âI feel honored,â Richardson said. âI feel every chapter Iâve been through in my life prepared me for this moment.â
After easily punching her ticket to the Summer Olympics, Richardson, overwhelmed with emotion, went down on one knee. She also spoke on that moment.
âThe emotion was just joy because of the hard work I put in, not just physically on the track, but mentally and emotionally to grow into the mature young lady I am today,â Richardson said.
She also entered the stands to embrace her family in a touching moment.
A Tale of Redemption For ShaâCarri Richardson
Richardsonâs redemption has been a pleasure to watch. Only three years ago, we saw her dominate the same race, only to see her lose her chance to compete on the world stage because of a positive marijuana test.
The fallout revealed that Richardson was also struggling with depression while shining a spotlight on the anti-doping agencyâs out-of-date rule book.
Salute to ShaâCarri.

One thing Republicans are good at is lying, and Donald Trumpâs surrogate, Senator Tim Scott, put on a master class during a recent interview on ABC, but the host was not having it.
Master of shucking and jiving, Tim Scott of South Carolina, really wants to be that one African American that Trump proudly points to when making the argument he is not racist.
The potential a** kisser, oops, we mean VP pick for Trumpâs presidential campaign, is out here running his huge gums, lying on behalf of the GOP, trying to paint this picture that America is somehow a much more violent place under President Joe Bidenâs leadership.
During a recent interview on ABC News on Sunday, June 16, Scott claims violent crime is up after Karlâs question about the Supreme Courtâs latest dumb decision to strike down a ban on bump stocks.
Host Jonathan Karl said aht, aht, aht and hit the South Carolina senator with a community note in real-time.
âWe trust and believe and respect the decision of the Supreme Court,â Scott said. âWhat we need to focus on, Jon, is the violence that weâre seeing across this nation. Under Joe Biden, weâve seen the greatest increase in violent crime in my lifetime.â
Karl quickly let Scott know his information was not accurate.
âActually, Senator, as you probably know, the latest stats on violent crime and on the murder rate, theyâre actually down this past year,â Karl said.
Scott was not done lying, stating, âUnder Joe Biden, neighborhoods like the ones I grew up in have never been ravaged [more].â
Social media has also been cooking Tim Cook, and deservingly so. You can see those reactions in the gallery below.

Power Book II: Ghost star Michael Rainey Jr. should be celebrating the return of his hit Power spinoff series. Instead, he had to address a disturbing sexual assault incident he was the victim of.
Rainey addressed his fans on Monday, June 10, after he was sexually assaulted during TyTy Jamesâ Twitch livestream.
Viewers of the live stream and fans of the young actor were stunned when Jamesâ younger sister inappropriately grabbed Rainey Jr. while he was making a guest appearance on the popular Twitch stream.
He sent a statement on the incident through his rep, which went viral on Elon Muskâs trash platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
Rainey is âdeeply saddened and shocked by the events that occurred during the TyTy James live stream this past weekend. He is still processing what happened and doesnât entirely know how to feel about it,â the statement sent to PEOPLE reads.
âThis situation is not being taken lightly,â the statement continued. âSexual harassment and assault are serious and unacceptable acts. Taking advantage of someoneâs celebrity in this manner devalues entertainers and underscores the need to respect their humanity. Those who entertain us are human beings just like everyone else.â
Rainey Said He Was Still In Shock Following The Incident
Rainey then hopped on his Instagram account and addressed the incident, writing that he was âstill in shock,â adding, âCanât take it lightly because I know I would be in serious trouble if the roles were reversed.â
âThis is an unfortunate situation that I canât condone in any way,â he continues. âThe fact is, sexual assault is never okay, regardless of gender or status. Weâre all human, and we should respect each other. Most importantly, we should respect ourselves.â
While we couldnât see Jamesâ sister grope Rainey because her hands were covered by three younger children in the viral clip, the Power starâs visibly uncomfortable look on his face let us know something wild was going on.Â
He reportedly left right after the groping incident.
TyTy James Apologizes For His Sisterâs Behavior
Following the backlash, James immediately issued an apology on his sisterâs behalf.
âAfter the actions that occurred during my stream last night I would like to sincerely apologize to Michael and his family for what took place.â
âMy little sister was completely wrong and out of line. What she did was very inappropriate and unacceptable. I am truly embarrassed and disgusted by her actions,â James wrote on Instagram. âI completely respect whatever direction Michael wants to go in this situation. After watching the clip, I was completely taken aback by what she done [sic]. I will take extreme precautions with future streams to avoid similar issues and have banned her from participating in future streams. I do not condone any type of assault.â
50 Cent Plays Himself Trying To Be Funny
Raineyâs boss and former Power co-star, 50 Cent, was the target of X slander after trying to make light of the 23-year-old actorâs situation.
âWait sexual assault đ from a male perspective this was an aggressive advance. LOL HEâs fine no charges are being pressed,â Diddyâ longtime nemesis and professional troll wrote in a now-deleted post.
The G-Unit general was quickly reminded that nothing is actually âdeletedâ on social media.
âThis is the same 50 cent whoâs supposed to be exposing Diddy for predatory behavior. Heâs such a charlatan and opportunist,â a post on X read.Â
Welp.
If you or anyone you know were a victim of sexual assault, you can reach out to the National Sexual Assault Hotline at 1-800-656-HOPE (4673) or go to rainn.org.

White legendary sports broadcaster Bob Costas said the quiet but undeniable thing out loud regarding the coverage of Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark.
The WNBA was looking forward to a fantastic year thanks to its exciting rookie class led by players Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese, Kamilla Cordosa, and Cameron Brink. Instead, since the 2024 season tipped off, there have been waves of toxic conversations and awful takes.
People, specifically men, have looked very weird after Chicago Sky player Chennedy Carterâs hard foul/cheap shot on Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark over the weekend.
Since Clarkâs arrival into the WNBA, many believe she has been the victim of hard fouls and, while not benefiting from any whistles.
Speaking with CNNâs Abby Phillip, Bob Costas accurately pointed out that energy for Clark following the hard fouls she receives has yet to be seen for Angel Reese, and itâs because of the obvious fact that she is a Black woman and the incidents are âBlack on Black.â
Costas was referring to an incident in particular: Connecticut Suns player Alyssa Thomas grabbed Reese by the neck, slamming her to the court, resulting in a flagrant two foul and her ejection from the game.
Per TMZ Sports:
âThe reason why that doesnât spark as much conversation isnât just that Caitlin Clark is a bigger star than Alyssa Thomas,â Costas said on CNN on Monday. âItâs because itâs a Black on Black incident and you donât have that dynamic that people can comment on, yes, but also exaggerate and make the entire story sometimes.â
Costas further pointed out that heâs seen other rookies receive the same treatment Clark is experiencing in other sports, but the caveat is Clark is a white superstar in a predominately Black sport.
Former ESPN First Take moderator and Sportscenter anchor Cari Champion echoed Costasâ sentiments, adding that nobody cared about the women of the W getting physical with each other because it was only âwomen of a certain color.â
Since Clark arrived in the WNBA, the discourse on sports media has been out of control. It was so bad that Monica McNutt checked Stephen A. Smith about his WNBA coverage, or lack thereof, on the show.

Sexyy Red isnât everyoneâs cup of tea, and this latest reason isnât helping her get in the good graces of those people.
Suppose you happen to catch any of Sexxy Redâs performances on purpose. In that case, you will notice a big red inflatable cap that plays around with the new-age Klan hood, Donald Trumpâs MAGA (Make America Great Again) hat, and flips it with Make America Sexyy Again, which hilariously spells out MASA.
We couldnât make any of this sh*t up if we wanted to.
Sexyy Redâs MASA hat stage prop was the subject of discussion back in March during her performance at Rolling Loud Los Angeles on March 15, and it is once again stirring things up on social media.
Social Media Is Not Here For Sexyy Redâs MAGA/MASA Antics
The âGet It Sexyyâ rapper brought the MASA hat out again on stage, this time for her Roots Picnic 2024 performance this past weekend, and people in attendance were not happy about it, calling out the 26-year-old Hip-Hop star on X, formerly Twitter.
âThis isnât just a one off, Sexyy Red has repeatedly dove into Trump MAGA s**t. Itâs the way Iâll never get into her sundown town ass,â one person wrote on X.
Another person wrote, âI clocked that Sexyy Red and MAGA connection long ago. What sheâs doing and being given an opportunity to do is intentional. Smh.â
In response to the backlash, Sexyy Red took to her personal X account, claiming she is not âendorsing anybody, period.â
Fans have quickly reminded her when she showed love for Donald Trump because of stimulus checks and getting people out of jail on Theo Vonâs This Past Weekend podcast.
âI like Trump,â she said. âYeah, they support him in the hood. At first, I donât think people was f**king with him. They thought he was racist, saying little s**t against women. But once he started getting Black people out of jail and giving people that free money. Awe, baby, we love Trump. We need him back in office.
Social media never forgets.

Camâron had plenty to say about Anthony Edwards keeping receipts in his latest adidas commercial.
One thing Camâron is not here for is people calling him out. The rapper and now sports talk show host had time for the Minnesota Timberwolves phenom and iconic sportswear company.
The open wound left after the Dallas Mavericks made short work of the Timberwolves in the NBA Western Conference Finals hasnât even healed yet, but that didnât stop Edwards from dropping a new AD, letting his haters know he is literally keeping receipts.
In the pretty clever spot for his impressive AE 1 signature basketball shows, Edwardâs friend reads comments that were printing out of a receipt machine while he continues to practice on his game.
One of those receipts showed the Dipset co-founder saying about Edwards, âTo me, heâs an All-Star, but not a superstar yet.â In response, Edwards says, âf*ck buddy.â
Camâronâs Petty Was On Another Level
Camâron shared the commercial on his Instagram account with the caption, â#Fuckbuddy đđđĽđĽđĽ commercial!! Thx @adidas for the love. And I had antman back this whole time but Iâll address this Monday on the show.. love the attitude tho. Only thing I would say is get a better looking lesbian to read the receipts.â
Oof, why did homie have to catch a stray like that?
Utilizing his popular sports debate show, It Is What Is, Camâron had free smoke for the professional hooper and adidas in the form of freestyle over Black Robâs âWhoaâ beat while rocking a Luka Doncic jersey.
âBut f**k wrong with Ant-Man, gave him his props, homie got love from me, new commercial, yâall ainât got love for me,â Killa Cam raps.
Camâron wasnât done there.
He then came with his own receipts in the form of a âdocumentaryâ he is making linking adidas brand footwear with memorable sports injuries like Kevin Wareâs gruesome leg injury he sustained while hooping.
Heâs so petty.
We hope cooler heads can prevail. Itâs kind of lame of Killa Cam to revisit Kevin Wareâs injury in this manner.

After months of teasing fans, specifically the Hotties, Megan Thee Stallion unveiled the cover art for her new album, MEGAN.
Megan Thee Stallion is officially in her self-titled album era.
After keeping fans in suspense for months, dropping two singles, âHISSâ and âBOA,â and her Megan Monday freestyles, Thee Stallion surprised fans by dropping the cover art and the June 28 release date for her new album MEGAN taken by David LaChapelle.
The Houston rapper has been hinting at this next project being a sort of rebirth, with analogies like shedding skin, like a snake, but on the MEGANâs covert art, she is blooming and coming out of her cocoon like the butterfly she is.
The announcement comes after her Hot Girl Summer tour, featuring her âWanna Beâ collaborator GloRilla, hit a snag during its Atlanta stop.
Due to a massive water main break, Thee Stallion had to postpone her Friday and Saturday shows before finally taking the stage on Sunday, ending the drought her ATL Hotties were enduring.
Reactions To MEAGANâs Cover Are Mixed
The reactions to MEAGANâs cover are as polarizing as the House of Representatives or Senate voting on a policy with most of the Hotties absolutely loving it, while the rapper from Queenâs fanbase and others are going all out to call it all types of trash.
One account on X, formerly Twitter, wrote about the MEAGAN album artwork, âthis is absolutely ugly.â
âBEST FEMALE RAP ALBUM RELEASED THIS DECADE ALREADY!!!â a fan wrote on X after feasting their eyes on the artwork.
We are truly getting the Hot Girl Summer we have been denied for so long. Weâre not counting that single. Megan The Stallion is giving us a proper reboot.

Surgent Studios founder and creative director of Tales of Kenzera: ZAU Abubakar Salim addressed the constant harassment he and the studio have faced since releasing the game.
The video game industry still has a long way to go regarding diversity and inclusion.
People like Abubakar Salim are working hard to show that Black and Brown people have a place in the gameâs business with the release of his game, Tales of Kenzera: Zau. However, there are still issues that must be dealt with, and Salim decided to speak about those challenges he and his studios have had to deal with.
Friday, Salim posted a five-minute video on his personal X/Twitter account to speak on the constant harassment that he admits he didnât want to address initially.
Salim says he has dealt with claims that he didnât âdeserve the opportunit[ies]â he got at the beginning of his career, adding, âNo, it was simply because Iâm Black, and Iâve turned my other cheek and just kept doing my thing.â
Before dropping his game, Salim was best known for his acting roles in Assassinâs Creed Origins and roles in MAXâs original series Raised By Wolves and season two of Game of Thrones prequel series House of the Dragon.
Salim states in the video that he could brush off some of the comments, but âwhen thereâs a constant barrage of them, itâs exhausting.â
[embedded content]
The actor/video game developer says the harassment reached a âfever pitchâ once his game, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, came to the forefront and became a focal point of the diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) harassment campaigns.
Per IGN:
âDonât get me wrong, thereâs been so much amazing and beautiful support for this game. The fact that itâs inspired so many people and touched, you know, so many lives, it was one of our goals from the outset â to have this positive impact, right?â Salim says. âBut at the same time, we are being faced with constant targeted harassment from people who see diversity as a threat. From people who look across the vast landscape of modern media and decide that anything that doesnât speak to them or centers around them is unnecessary and inauthentic.â
âAnd look,â he continues, âthereâs always a reason why diverse stories canât exist. You know, itâs always either weâre doing it the wrong way or itâs just there to tick boxes and itâs just beginning to feel like there is no right way. You know, these exclusionary rules continue to stack up and the goalposts continue to shift until, you know, me, my studio, people who look like us, just sit down, be quiet and just accept the fact that youâre outsiders. But I wonât do that.â
âIf there are people who arenât like you in a game, I want you to know that game is still for you,â Salim continues. âYou know, if the characters are a different race or a different gender or you know, a different ideology or different perspective, that doesnât mean the game isnât for you. It can still be for you.â
Salim Counters The Harassment By Lowering The Price Tales of Kenzera: ZAU Game On Nintendo Switch
The game dev was determined to make his game accessible to as many people as possible, setting it at an affordable $20 price point across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
To combat the harassment, Salim announced that he lowered the cost of the game to less than $15 on the Nintendo Switch, thanking Nintendo for âacting fast on this.â
âIâm working with the team in bringing this discount to all platforms, and itâs gonna start from now to until the end of June because, you know, it just means so much to me, man,â he says.
Salim continues, âI believe this is just one way that I can show you how serious I am about this,â he says. âGames are for everyone. Diverse games, theyâre not about taking something away from you. Theyâre about adding something new because thereâs room for all of us.â
X Rallies Behind Abukar Salim
Following the release of his video, the gaming communities rallied behind Salim, offering him plenty of support and applauding his courage and commitment to pushing diversity in the gaming space.
âThis is the message we all need to hear,â Kinda Funny and Gamertag Radio cohost Parris Lilly wrote.
Senior editor Alyssa Mercante added, âSo grateful for your work, your vision, and your voice, and to consider you a friend.â
âBlack gamers have been playing as non-Black characters in games for so long and enjoy those games, us included. But there is nothing wrong with us also wanting us to be represented fairly and authentically in the medium. What weâre finding here is these detractors donât want the exact same experience that Black gamers have had to endure for a majority of the history of gaming,â Black Girl Gamers wrote.
We hear at HHW Gaming stand with Abubakar Salim and will continue to ensure we shine a spotlight on Black and Brown game developers like Salim, Xalavier Nelson Jr., and others.
You can see more messages of support sent to Salim in the gallery below.
3. In the face of racism and harassment we continue to have go higher. His decision was admirable.
