This past weekend OG Hip-Hop journalist Elliott Wilson found himself at the mercy of the Barbz collective after he seemingly shaded Nicki Minaj for appearing on Kai Cenat’s streaming channel.  Though he issued a public apology, it was too late. They hate him now.Things began when Wilson seemingly took a shot at both Nicki Minaj and Kai Cenat after the former appeared on Cenat’s show with a post of Nicki twerking on the show and a caption that read “Hip Hop journalism.” Fans took the post as Wilson mocking the moment and Kai’s channel.
Nicki wasted no time in responding to Wilson’s alleged shade and took to X to slam him for his post. “Elliott if you’d spit Jay-Z dikk out for a one second, you’d be able to be happy for the new comers. Isn’t that how y’all tried to tarnish my image? By saying I’m not welcoming new btchs in?” Nicki tweeted.

The post was enough to have the Barbz pounce on Wilson to the point that he took down his post and threw up a new one in which he tried to make amends with Nicki saying he never dissed her and “Always said she’s the female rap [GOAT]. Over Lauryn, Missy, Kim and Foxy and all. I think Cardi B is dope too. Happy Holidays.”

Unfortunately, that didn’t save him from the online wrath of the Barbz.
Wilson then went on and praised Kai for getting this far in the streaming lane saying Cenat “deserves respect.”

People are still mad even though Wilson continued to shower Nicki with praise following the release of her latest album, Pink Friday 2.

Nicki meanwhile doesn’t seem to be letting up and continues to take shots at Wilson (whom she referred to as “Idiot” Wilson) and even threw a stray shot at DJ Envy for being involved in his alleged real estate scam after hating on her music.

Nicki’s on one! Y’all don’t know what y’all started. Hopefully Nicki’s husband doesn’t start stalking Elliott Wilson now. Just sayin’.
Peep Nicki address Elliott Wilson below, and let us know if his apologies were enough to quiet the storm in the comments section below.

After a relatively quiet few months, Kanye West made noise on social media this past weekend for once again ranting against, well, everyone. This time he went after Nicki Minaj for not clearing an old verse she laid down for the controversial rapper.

TMZ is reporting that the Barb angered Ye after informing him that she wouldn’t be letting him use her verse for “New Body,” and that alone was enough for Ye to include Nicki in his rant this past weekend. Telling everyone in attendance for his Vultures listening party that he had Nicki rewrite her classic verse for “Monster” three times. Ye said he “supported her career” and didn’t know why she wouldn’t clear the song.

TMZ reports:

He joked Nicki’s stonewalling would delay the album altogether — which apparently wasn’t that funny to Ty Dolla $ign, but it doesn’t seem like Nicki is playing ball.
Nicki told her fans on IG Live last night “New Body” was old news and her main focus is promoting “Pink Friday 2” … she doesn’t want to compete with herself!!!
The verse is five years old, and Nicki really does seem unbothered by the situation when she touched on the topic during her IG Live.
Check out Nicki address the situation below and let us know your thoughts in the comments section.

Nicki Minaj has long established herself as one of the leading Hip-Hop artists of her era, regardless of gender, and earned a historic mark to go along with her lengthy accolades. Nicki Minaj recently released her latest studio album Pink Friday 2, which went No. 1 on the Billboard 200 charts, earning the Queens superstar the most top of chart debuts among female rappers.
Nicki Minaj, 41, is coasting on the success of Pink Friday 2, which dropped on December 8, which is her birthday. Each of her albums has debuted at or near the top for the duration of her career, and her latest set sold the equivalent of 228,000 album units in the week ending December 14.
More from Billboard:
The set also sold 25,000 copies sold on vinyl — the largest week for a rap album by a woman since Luminate began electronically tracking sales in 1991.
Pink Friday 2 was preceded by a trio of charting songs on the Billboard Hot 100: “Super Freaky Girl” (No. 1 in 2022), “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” (No. 13, 2023) and “Last Time I Saw You” (No. 23, 2023).
Minaj was previously tied with Foxy Brown for the leaders among female rappers with a Billboard 200 No. 1 debut, and she is also the first female rapper with No. 1 albums in two different decades, a testament to Minaj’s talent and longevity.
On Twitter, the Barbz are celebrating Nicki Minaj and her latest chart-topping album,  . Check out the reactions below.

It’s Yeezy season, and we’re not talking about his ugly sneakers and clothes. Kanye West is back with his latest album, Vultures, and like with his other recent album rollouts, this one is a hot a** mess just based on what went down at a recent listening event for the project.
Kanye West put on a show in a room full of enablers during his listening event for his new Ty Dolla-assisted project Vultures, which was supposed to drop on streaming platforms on Friday, December 15.
Videos from culture vulture YesJulz’s live stream of the event began hitting X, formerly Twitter timelines. One moment many folks reacted happily to was the reunion between Kid Cudi and Ye.
For those who forgot, the two friends had a huge falling out in February after West said some hurtful things about his fellow Kids See Ghosts collaborator because of his friendship with Pete Davidson, his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian’s former lover interest.
After getting the boot off the DONDA album, Ye and Cudder have made up with the “Day ‘n’ Nite” rapper appearing on West’s new project.

Kanye West Went On Another Epic Rant
West reuniting with Kid Cuid wasn’t the only thing that happened during the event. Like with any other Yeezy function, the rapper went on a wild rant where he name-dropped Jay-Z, Travis Scott, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Adolph Hitler, and Jesus.
“They want a Virgil, then, don’t let me speak at the funeral. I saw two, three, four, five white people not let me speak. Drake, I love you, I’m a get the tattoo. But any of y’all n-ggas, Trav, whoever, y’all gotta show up. Don’t tell me I’m talking crazy. Me, Pharrell, we broke down this door; we’re all in this sh-t together,”

Oh, he wasn’t done. The antisemitic side of him made an appearance, and the Chicago rapper didn’t sound remorseful about his previous comments either.
“I don’t wanna hear sh-t from any of these Jewish n-ggas saying I’m in an episode,” Ye says. “Harley Pasternak followed me to the f-cking hotel, and that n-gga killed Aaron Carter. And now they won’t clear the Backstreet Boys sample. Harley Pasternak, Pusha. Your trainer. Harley Pasternak, Jay-Z.”

But wait… there’s more.
Mr. West kept on spewing his unproven theories and stats. He claimed that he prayed with Tory Lanez and even took a dig at Nicki Minaj for not clearing her verse on New Body, preventing him from putting it on Vultures.
“The French own 80% of the banks in Africa. It’s 60 million of us in America and 60 million Jews in the world,” Ye says. “50% of our deaths are abortion. 25% of us go to prison.”

Oh, what a mess. Mr. West needs some serious help, but unfortunately, the people in his orbit just keep letting him make a fool of himself.

Nicki Minaj is still coasting on the high waves after dropping her latest studio album Pink Friday 2 last week and is now making the media rounds. The American-Trinidadian superstar joined with popular streamer Kai Cenat for a stream event that has the Barbz celebrating but also sparked some critics to chime in, too.
Nicki Minaj hopped on Twitch with Kai Cenat early Thursday morning (December 14) with fans of both figures tuning in at major numbers even in the wee hours. The pair, who both share Trinidadian heritage, talked about Pink Friday 2, engaged with fans, held a dance party, took some shots, and Minaj also shared a new track.
According to some of the chatter we’ve seen online, the stream got over 360,000 views and apparently shattered Cenat’s viewership record but we have yet to confirm that on our side. However, it would be safe to see that having over 300,000 viewers turned in at the hour they began is impressive all the same.
Given the age difference between Cenat, 21, and Minaj, 41, and considering that Cenat’s audience is also on the younger side, some observers didn’t understand the pairing. There was also a dig from a notable Hip-Hop journalist that stood out, which we’ll share in the reactions later.
Despite that, the two seemed to enjoy each other’s company and Minaj joined in a wild dance party with Cenat and his friends. There was also a point where Cenat introduced Minaj to his mother and twin sister.
On X, formerly Twitter, folks are adding their thoughts about Nicki Minaj and Kai Cenat connecting on Twitch. Check out the reactions below.

Nicki Minaj dropped her latest studio album Pink Friday 2 on December 8, which is also her birthday, and fans online are already running it up and hopping online to share their thoughts. Some fans believe that Nicki Minaj took a shot at both Megan Thee Stallion and Latto on two different songs on the album.
Pink Friday 2 is the fifth studio album from Nicki Minaj, following 2018’s Queen. The Queens star has released tracks and done features in the span of those five years between projects and the anticipation for the new album was high.
Across 22 tracks, Minaj rocks alongside her Young Money boss Lil Wayne and Tate Kobang on the track “RNB” and she rocks with her past collaborator Drake on the track “Needle” while J. Cole graces the song “Let Me Calm Down.”
The tracks that fans are discussing online regarding the alleged disses are “FTCU” and “Fallin 4 U,” the former of which features the lyrics, “Stay in your Tory lane, b*tch, I’m not Iggy” but this could be a reach as the pair seemingly squashed their issues over a failed collaboration.
On “Fallin 4 U,” the lyrics in question are, “Picture you ending up under the seat, where the dread at?/ Picture not listening when I said you would dread that/ I mean locs, ho, you-you’s a chop ho/ I’m number one, y’all go argue over top four,” which some stating the “locs, ho” word scheme was a dig at Latto.
Of course, none of this can be confirmed but the discussion regarding the release of Pink Friday 2 is bubbling on X right now. We’ve got reactions along with birthday wishes from all sides below.

Nicki Minaj teamed up with Keyshia Cole and Monica to surprise fans on Instagram Live, sparking rumors of new music on the way.

Kicking off the weekend, the trio hopped on the popular livestream with the “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” rapper hinting at a potential new track with the songstresses by challenging the “Trust” collaborators to a freestyle session—with Nicki breaking out into some bars as the others followed suit.

“Listen to me, I’m gonna start the rap. Who got second, who got third? You have to be on key,” Minaj said while snapping her fingers to create the beat.
Monica and Keyshia/Me, I’m Onika,” Nicki spit as Monica took the lead: “I’m Mo, I kick down doors/I been with the sh–s, I already told you before.”
Keyshia Cole brought the trio across the finish line: “So I’m KC you know me/I’m from the town, I’m town bound/I ain’t around right now I’m in the booth/It’s the new doo doo.”

Following the impromptu flows, fans were pressed to find out if the trio would be appearing together on Minaj’s upcoming album, Pink Friday 2, slated to drop Friday (Dec. 8) on the Young Money Queen’s birthday. Despite not revealing an official tracklist as of yet, ahead of the upcoming release, Minaj has dropped singles, “Red Ruby Da Sleeze,” “Last Time I Saw You,” “Big Difference,” and “Super Freaky Girl.”
During a recent interview with Vogue, the Queen rapper gave an update on what to expect from the follow-up to 2010’s Pink Friday, saying: “When I look back at a lot of my music, I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, where was the me in it?’ So for this album, I went back to the old game plan.”

Soulja Boy is back in the headlines but this time it is for his maturity. Draco has issued an apology to J. Cole, after cursing him out.

XXL Magazine is reporting that the Atlanta, Georgia native is showing contrition after going after Jermaine. On Monday, November 6 Big Draco went on a tirade against the “John P’s Caddy” MC after he admitted he was a Soulja Boy hater during the interview with Lil Yachty on the A Safe Place Podcast. “Around the time Soulja Boy came out, I don’t know how this happened, but I had a realization within myself ’cause I’m hearing that s**t and I’m like, ‘Man, this s**t, Soulja Boy Tell ‘Em,” J. Cole said.

He went on to further detail the moment in time. “Sounds crazy to say now ’cause it’s such a classic to me. But at that time I had resistance. Similar to when you came out and your class came out, I had resistance. ‘Nah, that’s not the thing that I love. Like what? Y’all f**king with this?’ I was one of them.” Cole then admitted he had hate in his heart at the time. “But there was a part of me that had a realization. I was proud of myself for this realization. So, I was like, ‘Bruh, you a hater.’ Like, ‘Yo, you are literally hating. You know you like this s**t.’”
Needless to say Soulja Boy was not too pleased when this got on his radar and disparaged The Off-Season talent on X, formerly known as Twitter. “P***y n***a I wrote and produced a #1 record at 17 in 2006 drake just gave you your first #1 this year sit the f**k down n***a u not all that @JColeNC u don’t got a #1 solo record I do.” he wrote. Soulja continued on with the slander saying “You a b***h @JColeNC f**k you and ya fans,” Soulja Boy wrote on X. “N***az will slap the s**t out you, f**k your opinion dirty stank dreads having a** b***h.”
Well it seems Nicki Minaj out of all people talked some sense into the S.O.D. Money Gang CEO. “Nicki just told me I took what he said wrong,” he posted on X. “And that he was showing love. So I’m gonna let it go. My bad y’all I really thought dude was hating on me.” He continued “My bad dawg. @JColeNC sorry for the confusion. keep doing your s**t we from two different worlds. I stand on what I stand on, it’s hard coming from where I did man. I dealt with a lot of hate my whole career so it was just messed to think it would come from you.”

J. Cole has yet to acknowledge the situation. You can see Soulja’s social media posts below.

On the latest episode of “When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong,” Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, just learned that threatening a rapper on social media is not a good look when you’re on probation and has some pretty annoying consequences.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kenneth Petty was placed on house arrest Wednesday (Sept. 20), for his online antics after his probation officer saw his social media posts where he was creeping the streets of New York looking for Offset and making threats to the rapper over some silliness. Though nothing has come of the situation (thank goodness), it was determined that Petty violated the terms of his probation and was sentenced to 120 days of home detention for his transgression.
At least he lives in a nice home with his millionaire wife, right?
Per The Hollywood Reporter:

In a court order filed Wednesday in the Central District of California, Petty was ordered to undertake home monitoring after he “was recorded on video making threatening remarks to a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record.” The specific individual mentioned in the order is Offset, and the clips relate to a series of messages Petty aimed at the rapper that appeared on social media Sept. 16.
As you may or may not recall, Mr. Minaj was sentenced to three years probation back in 2022 after he pled guilty to failing to register as a sex offender. In the clip that went viral and got him violated, Petty and his alleged goons are seen creeping outside a hotel where Offset was allegedly staying and offering up some threats.

All this over a row of seats at the MTV Video Music Awards. SMH.
The man knew he was on probation, and given his history, was probably aware he’d get violated for any little thing by the courts. Still, he felt the need to go on social media and let the world know he was “keeping it real.” That kind of ego and pride will get you every time.
No word on how Offset feels about Petty getting reprimanded for the video, but we’re sure he’s laughing a lot harder than he was to Petty’s original threats.

What do y’all think of Nicki’s hubby getting hit with the house arrest bid? Let us know in the comments section below.
